Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Needs an upgrade
Overall we had a great time. Our first visit to this resort was 6 years ago. Love the location-close to Sayulita and downtown PV. Staff were wonderful. Our room was clean but dark. The pot light above the toilet in our room started dripping halfway through our 10 day stay. We reported it to the front desk 3 times and it was not fixed. The food was not the best sometimes lukewarm. The bathroom at the flamingo buffet was dirty and had black mold on the ceiling. The bathroom by the main pool was st [... read more]
Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa: Very Average for the price
The Hotel was very average, food was very average. Paid for the Preferred Stay and nobody told us what we were entitled to ( waste of money). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Found there was not enough restaurants for the dreams side.
Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: A Lovely Vacation!
We stayed at the Hacienda (adults only) side of Krystal Grand. This hotel was not perfect, with the reservation system still a work in progress (while we were there, showing up at 5:15 PM to line up to reserve a place in 1 of 3 evening seatings, worked well for us), and my fellow tourists hogging loungers and chairs with towels for many hours. As well, the housekeeping can come anytime up to 5 PM, which was not always convenient for us. However, we found that the resort's benefits far outweig [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Excellent
The grounds are spectacular and mature. The beach walking south is exceptional x2 hours a few patches of rocks all the way to Maroma Beach. . The food was very good. The service was very good but the ice cream wasn’t good. The fruit and vegetables, baked goods and deserts were great! The rooms are fresh and up to date. Lots of fun activities for families with children. Only 30 mins from the airport.
Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Amazing stay
Had a wonderful time at dos Playas Faranda. Weather was warm, people friendly, food varied and tasty, activities from 10-9 everyday. Close to the city, and just great all way round. Will book here again
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great Resort
The hotel needs to enforce its policy of not allowing people to reserve seating with towels or personal belongings...most mornings by 9am, all seats had towels. Also, as the resort said 100% no smoking, this was something that was also not enforced by the staff. Otherwise great place to stay, clean rooms, lots of choice for food and all tasted amazing.
Krystal Cancun: Worth the read if you’re planning on staying here
It’s tough writing this review because the ground of the hotel were stunning and the beachfront was the best I’ve experienced in Mexico! Sadly, there are a lot of negatives to my review which others should be aware of as I wish I was. To start, we booked an all-inclusive oceanfront room for 1 week. When we arrived into our room at 1am after our delayed flight, we were very disappointed by the quality of our room, the obstructed ocean view due to a palm tree close to our balcony, and the very [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Palace: Best Resort to Stay
Barcelo Maya Palace was an unforgettable place. The staff, didn’t matter where you were or what you were asking for, staff was there to help at all times of the day. The food was amazing. We dinned out 3 restaurants, visited most of the buffets. All were clean, well maintained and food was excellent. The pools are the greatest I have ever seen. Especially the pool side bars. Now for the Spa, WOW we go on vacation, all inclusive to be pampered, they came thru with just that. All the amenities wer [... read more]
Paradise Village Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort!!
The resort is extremely clean and well maintained. They are in the process of renovating there buildings and rooms. We were still in the non renovated building and room. It is definitely time as the room is dated and furniture and mattress are old. This is our second time to this resort. We loved the addition of the Sky Bar. You do get 1 Ala carte in the sky bar part of the All Inclusive. It is not part of the all inclusive if you want to go there for drinks or a snack. There will be a charge. [... read more]
Grand Oasis Cancun: Friendly staff, terrible resort.
Rooms are run down bathroom is decrepit, leaking faucet , room serve nil, house keep not great bed rock beds . Food is okay in the ala carts which you only get 2, extra pay for lots of things all the good restaurants no bars sell food , line ups at buffets, couldn’t get in to see some entertainment, also you can hear people talking in the rooms next to you , we had little kids in the wee hours screaming , loud tv, never go back wast of good money ,
Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Beautiful Resort
Resort is Beautiful, great to sit in the Infiniti pools while the watching the cruise ships come and go. If you like going for walks on beach this beach is too small for that. Staff are friendly , food was great, rooms were clean. There are many trees and bushes around the other pool if you want shade. But there should be more lounge chairs and regular chairs should be added as not everyone can get in and out of the lounge chairs.
El Cozumeleno Beach: Great overview and snorkelling
Bar service is the reason this hotel recieved this rating. Rooms are ok but no bar fridge and inconsistent cleaning even when requested. Ocean view was un-comparable though... Location is about 90 minutes walking distance from the centre of town... A long walk but duable. Buffet Food is not great... Not great at all. A La Carte was tasty but difficult to get a reservation. Finally figured out the menu at the buffet restaurant and was able to order shrimp and steak on the last night. Pool w [... read more]
Haven Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. A very clean modern looking hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service is outstanding .The Flavours Market Buffett is excellent with a wide selection of food for any meal. Various pools to suit your needs. Beach had seaweed in water on some days.
Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Good resort
The grounds were kept beautiful. The food was very good, with lots of variety. Overall clean but rooms could use updates, especially bathroom. The pools were very nice and warm with plenty of chairs everywhere.
Barcelo Maya Palace: Awesome Resort
This older resort boasts beautiful manicured landscaping, lots of shade with mature palm trees. A great selection at the buffet and 5 star a la cartes; beef Wellington and filet mignon cooked to perfection. With the additional resorts there was plenty of walking and exploring the many facilities on site including dolphinarium, mall, casino, the option to travel the resort by double decker buses are also available. Service was top notch. Although the rooms were dated, the rooms were very clean [... read more]

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great resort
We had a family trip to this resort last week and had a very positive experience. We booked a room at Barcelo Maya Colonial but were given a room in the premium section of the Barcelo Tropical (with privileges that Colonial guests have) because the Colonial part was all occupied when we arrived. We liked the room very much. It was very close to the beach, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. They also provided robes and slippers, which was convenient. The balcony had a drying rack, which wa [... read more]
Riu Tequila: Riu Tequila : Perfect for me .....
The best asset this resort has is the STAFF. No matter what area you are in, front desk, buffet, bar, room service, pool and beach areas and yes even ground keepers They all seem to really care, they help you in feeling comfortable, relaxed, secure and happy. The location is excellent, heavily secured gated community in the heart of Playacar. Easy access to gorgeous beach and 200 pesos taxi ride gets you to 5th Avenue. Actually you can walk to 5th Avenue if you desire. I have No complaints Food [... read more]
