Barcelo Montelimar: beautiful place

Excellent location, quiet and 1 minute from the beach the hotel employees were amazing. specially the Hotel guides like Nelson and Francisco. the only problem was a minor one , the Wi Fi was unstable.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: good resort

Very nice beach, very good food, interesting and funny shows every night. A lot activities around swimming pool for adults and kids. Only one complain: rooms need to be up to date (closet very small ). Very nice resort overall.

Barcelo Karmina: Beyond Expectations

Family vacation. Kids are 10 and 14 years old. We all had a great time. Check in/out was effortless. Hotel architecture was amazing. Rooms were huge and impeccably clean. Beds were super comfy. Restaurants were all great. Excellent selection and variety. Staff were helpful. Beach was small but clean. Excellent snorkelling right at waters edge. Many clean pools. Entertainment was a little disappointing compared to Cuba experience 2 years ago. Overall a wonderfully memorable trip.

Barcelo Solymar: The yin yang resort.

A place such as this may only be described by the use of a yin yang symbol. Barcelo solymar was an utterly dreamy hotel. The resort was an array of beauty everywhere you look. The rooms, meeting standards and accommodating for everything you'd need while away from home. Water more blue than a baby's eyes and sand as soft and warm as it gets. The bartenders meeting and surpadsing expectations and always providing great drinks. The good. The service and food on the other hand may not meet complete [... read more] standards. Being a young female, I was harassed by workers on more than one occasion. I was asked if they were able to take my photo many times, and my room was called at all hours of the night by the staff asking to take me out. Overall, a very uncomfortable situation to say the least. The food was often undercooked and the variety was thin, but all was eatable. Overall, there is always the good in the negative, and the bad in the good. This hotel may equally represent both, but for an amazingly relaxing day and an eventful night I would recomend Barcelo 10 out of 10 times.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Our best family vacation yet!

This was our third vacation at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort. The grounds are immaculate and the food is fantastic. The rooms are very clean and everything in the resort is very well maintained. The staff is always working very hard (painting, gardening, cleaning). The pools are huge and there are several. The beach is beautiful although several people complain that it's rocky, you can always find a sandy spot. The Kyoto cooking show was a highlight for our family. Our kids (8 and 6) really love [... read more]d the new paddle tennis and the waterpark is always a hit. We upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was totally worth it. We had a pool & ocean view and a great central location. The trip from the airport is about 90 minutes but it's fun to check out the scenery. We love the fact that this resort is so large - you have lots of options for swimming and eating and there is always something to do. We would all love to return - you can't beat this resort!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Resort

The Barcelo really has something for everyone. The food is good, beach is decent for Mexico and cleanliness is impecable. The staff went out of their way to give us a pleasant stay - helping celebrate a birthday. Some difficulty getting our rooms right - hotel was full, but rectified for 2nd day.

Barcelo Solymar: Great Resort

The hotel is a little older, the rooms were clean and comfortable, Didn't enjoy all the smokers in the bars and lobby. should have to go outdoors to smoke. The beach was a 2 minute walk from the hotel .Best beach I've been on, water was warm. The food was not bad, better than what I've heard. Lot of things to do during the day. The staff were very friendly and considerate.

Barcelo Solymar: Fulfilled Expectations!

First time traveler. Quite happy with Solymar. Access to 2 resort amenities helps cover any deficiencies. Grounds were immaculate, able walk barefoot most of the time! Desk staff needs better English.

Barcelo Solymar: Great Beach, Tired and Dirty hotel

Expected hotel to be dated , but it was in disrepair. It was also very dirty. Staff was amazing. Beach was fantastic. Hotel was 3 star at best NOT 4 star. Broken tiles and windows. Sharp nails exposed - all around there were dangerous elements as a result of non-maintenance. Expected cockroaches, but not as many as we encountered. Room was filled with them - 10+ per night and dining room had them around food - not great !

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Very Nice Resort

Just came back from Barcelo Bavaro palace . It is a beautiful report. The food is excellent. The rooms are really nice. Get one with a tub on the balcony. Very large resort Both pools and beach are very nice. Would return.

Sunscape Dominican Beach: Nice but not what I was expecting

The grounds were nice. Activities should last longer (10 minute bingo games could be longer, karaoke night should last longer). Cockraoches in some of the rooms, turned me right off, therefore I will never go back to this resort. Food at the ala carte restaurants was fantastic!

Barcelo Huatulco: Wonderful Stay

We went for a week March 3-10, and we really enjoyed it. One of my favorite things was being able to hear the waves crashing at night while drifting off to sleep. I loved the size of the resort, very intimate.

Occidental Caribe: Barcelo punta cana

This place was really nice, the beach was awesome and the food was excellent. This my second time at this resort love it .Wish they had a bit more entertainment at night.The buffet was great and a la carte was excellen.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Thanks Tripcentral for an amazing vacation :)

The Barcelo Maya Caribe in Riviera Maya was unbelievable. The moment we arrived we were overwhelmed - so chic and everyone so professional and helpful. Totally awesome, a shopping mall right off the lobby, 24hr sports bar with bowling lanes. This resort has everything for whatever age with an amazing beach you can walk from one end to the other. The buffets are all delicious, the al la cartes are totally worth it, the bars cater to whatever you desire. The pools, water slides, rock climbing wall [... read more], volleyball, basketball, tennis, etc. Nightly shows very entertaining and then a disco for the youngsters and the Jaguar for those of age. You must go and enjoy this resort, we are so looking forward to going back and can't thank Tripcentral enough, especially Karlol, for referring us to this wonderful place.

Barcelo Huatulco: All round great resort!

We stayed one week from March10-17/2015 at the Barceló Beach Resort Huatulco. Have absolutely no complaints. Food was awesome...Beach fantastic...Weather out of this world. Only fault was we were in a room that was unrenevated and in obvious need of repair. We had no air conditioning for 2 days which made sleeping very uncomfortable. However the management was very accommodating and upgraded us to a newly renovated room with working air conditioner at no extra charge and because of this great s [... read more]ervice would be sure to return if we were given an upgraded room. The animation team we phenominal and keep our kids entertained. May just plan to return next winter!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: 9 times to Punta Cana, this is one my favs!

I stayed at the adults only, which is the best to stay at. You can use the facilities at the other side but come back to the tranquil side of the adults. My group nicknames the other side "Vegas", so big, so modern, very un-caribbean feeling. All the ala cartes were very good and something for everyone at the buffets. The water was gorgeous and blue like all of Bavaro Beach but more calm as you are in the cove. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Never had to fight or save chairs at pool o [... read more]r beach no matter what time you got there, this is a A++ feature in my mind! If they could improve on one thing it would be the service. Either excellent or less than desirable. Don't think about it, just book it!!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Beautiful

The beach is beautiful, you could walk for miles in the white sand and there was lots of activity on the water. The resort was clean, there were a lot of options for meals and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Barcelo Karmina: "Palace "

This was our second stay at the Karmina Palace. Beautiful, clean, and spacious rooms. We arrived very late, instead of 7:30pm, it was 11:00pm. To welcome very tired tourist, there was a special room set, with registry tables, and all the food and drink anyone could want. A great way to start 2 weeks of sunshine.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Awesome trip

Amazing resort, very clean, very huge, beautiful beach and pools, lots to do Food above average for Dominican. If you have kids then this is the resort for you. Three water parks for different ages, mini put, laser tag, water sports, pool tables etc...

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Good time!

Very clean & well maintained resort. Food was good all though not kept hot enough in the buffet. We stayed in Club Premium section which was awesome! Would return for another holiday next year. Great staff!
