Amazing service everywhere, great clean facilities! Top notch decor and food at all restaurants! All personnel wears masks and disinfection stations available everywhere! We loved every moment of our stay!

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Close to what it can be

Beach: not Cuba but good. Food: good but not the variety you encounter at large resorts. Rooms: standard, good but at 4 stars resorts we had jacuzzi in the bathroom or on the balcony, here just a shower. The most annoying part was watching weddings, I mean people eating and dancing in the main plaza 8-11pm or by the pool (3 weddings in a week). In the rest of the days the same area is used for shows or just a nice outdoor Disco. Annoying! THIS CAN BE FIXED I do not watch TV in vacation  [... read more]but in the evening before dinner I opened it for news and some Latin music. It was frustrating to see the network buffering, loosing signal, flickering image, etc. This is not acceptable in a 5* resort. IT CAN BE FIXED No lounges available at the beach or at the swimming pool, just talk to the beach guy or the pool guy and they take the towels of some lounges hold by people for hours. Overall I enjoyed my vacation, staff professional and friendly with minimal exceptions. They did not ask but I have to mention the people from which we received an exceptional service: Jose at the beach bar, Ozuna at the pool bar and Sadeica at the main bar that - Thank You. Have I been in better places in same price range? Yes. Do I recommend this resort? Yes (already done so). Do I go back? Probably yes, if the price is right.

Ocean El Faro: Nice Resort - Horrible Beach.

The resort itself was nice. The staff was pleasant, and my room was nice with no complaints. Resort sales staff were very pushy, the same with the vendors on the resort. The food was decent, not amazing, not horrible. The PCR covid exit testing was a nightmare for those who did not bring a RT Lamp kit. There was a 2+ hour wait just to book your test, and then a 2+ hour wait to have the test preformed. There are rocky sections where you can't even enter the water. the water is very rough, and everyone said it's because it's hurricane season. No it's a naturally rough beach. There is a rock breakwater the resort added to calm the waves, but it stirs up the sand. The sand is dirty with plastic and other garbage left by beach goers. If you are going because of the beach don't go. If you are a pool person, it's very lovely.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great resort !

We had an amazing time at Royalton. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, great service. Beach area is all you need, no rocks in the water. Food 5 stars. Great restaurants and activities on cite. Will be coming back !

Excellence Punta Cana: Fantastic 1st wedding anniversary

Fantastic resort! The food, the people and the rooms were all very wonderful. Ceaser, part of the excellence club was very helpful and polite. Joendry on the beach always made sure we had what we needed along with all the staff at the resort. We will be back!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Deceptive Resort, No Beach Whatsoever

Taxis extort you and they lie about there being no Uber! 40 USD for somewhere that costs 700 Dominican pesos! They will make you walk off the resort to get an Uber and send taxis to follow you and threaten you and your Uber. Bug bites everywhere- they don’t fumigate properly. Drink glasses the size of two ounces. My child’s sippy cup is triple the size of their glasses for drinks! Flies all over the buffet because they’re too cheap to turn on the AC. Only 1-2 Restaurants are open per night from 6-10 pm and if you even arrive by 7:00 pm they’re somehow full for the night! This happened several times so we couldn’t even eat at any restaurants. They don’t provide straws for drinks (unhygienic and gross). No water bottles- just filtered water in their glasses that smelled bad. There is no beach. Massive sandbags which look like dead whales on the beach everywhere in the ocean to protect the Beach from further damage. I understand that part is out of their control but it’s unacceptable and they didn’t disclose this before I spent my money with them. They need to tell people that the Beach is the ugliest thing you’ll ever set eyes on.

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: Amazing Resort!

From the exceptional service to the amazing food, this resort/hotel was honestly one of the best my partner and I have experienced. We’ve been to quite a few all inclusive resorts but this definitely raises the bar! The resort was beautifully designed and very spacious! The options for food were almost endless with about 10 restaurants to choose from and not including the buffet! Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort

Spent a beautiful week here. Excellent updated facility, service was great overall, and everything clean and Covid protocols respected. Food was not quite up to our expectations however but was still very good. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Good time

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food was very good. The service was very slow… booking process for a la carte restaurants was frustrating… beware of the holiday sales people… waste of time and very pushy. The beach needs a lot of work… if you are looking for real Punta Cana white sand this is not the place… sat at the pool most of the time. Air Canada airport transfer sucked… waited along in a bus with masks on with no A/C for an hour… no one came to see us… after I [... read more] got off the bus to make sure we were on the right bus and no one could tell us what was going on… after a half hour more two more groups showed up…. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good Vacation

Was there for 12 days. Not a bad vacation. Food was mostly luke warm at the buffets unless cooked fresh for you. Only went to 3 ala cartes, Limbo (1x), Portofino (2x) and MEAT (3x). I recommend Miami vice and chocolate monkey. Room, no issues other than freezing and for me the bed was like a rock. Room service, although quick, good luck getting everything you order. Toast for 2 was 2 slices of bread. Black coffee came with a jug of milk. Coffee shop. Good coffee. If you intend to buy vanilla, pick up there. $6.00 for a white and dark bottle. Now the sports bar. The food was great, nice and hot. Wings, fabulous. Service outside, looked good and never heard complaints. Inside service, the worst. On one visit, we had to go to the waitress who was hiding at the bar, to give our order. Never cleared our table or offered another drink. Other staff did her job for her. We were not the only one to experience this. Butler, couldn’t get a hold of anyone so stopped trying. No big deal. Housekeeping took care of us. Swim ups-please remember, at midnight when you are out there with music playing loudly and having a party, the walls are thin and you might want to think of someone other then yourselves. Be respectful because the hotel doesn’t enforce the 9pm rule. Lounge chairs-we noticed when certain groups arrived, chairs were saved and on more than one occasion, not even used after being held all day. The hotel was told (not me)about 8 chairs being held with orange pop and did nothing. This is an issue at the hotel. Another rule they don’t enforce. Overall, besides the food not always being hot and somewhat boring (lack of options I imagine due to Covid), the hotel provided a great vacation. We had a great time. Very relaxing.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: 5th Time at Esmeralda

Resort is still gorgeous. COVID testing two days before you leave went very smoothly. A la carte restaurants have a QR code to scan at the entrance which contains the menu - very cool and safe - nothing to touch or disinfect.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Amazing resort.

The food was great. Loved the entertainment. Pool is fantastic. All the a la cartes were very good and available. I would definitely return. We had an amazing time and met some really nice people from around the world. They dealt with the covid issue in a very good way. Was glad the swim up bar was open.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great place

We go to bahia resorts and they never fail. Great foods the staff are wonderful and talented. The rooms are impeccable. Even with all the restrictions still around there was lots to do. Three a la cart and buffets were great as well

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Very good but a few snags

The Transat rep on the shuttle transfer from the airport to the resort wasn't very helpful. Told us that we were all to meet the Transat rep at 9m the following morning. He didn't say where, who to look for, nothing. We waited all the next morning and continued checking the lobby throughout the day . We waited for hours and continued checking the lobby throughout the dayno one knew who this person was, where they were supposed to be, etc. We were taken here, there and everywhere to finally m [... read more]eet the rep who was sitting at his desk all day every day in the lobby. H, asking the employees. No one knew anything. How can no one at the reception desk or guest service desk know who the reps are for the various travel companies? Very frustrating time waster. Stay away from Travel Club reps. They prey on you as soon as you enter the lobby, offer all their help, waste your time, and hound you until you agree to their "breakfast". Don't agree to breakfast. Put your foot down and move on to the check-in desk yourself. Don't fall for their orchestrated dance of wasting your time. Plus, do your research. The Travel Club is a scam and worst deal you will ever make. Book your own vacations whereever you want whenever you want - the Travel Club gives nothing much else except a lot of lifetime expense and headache. Overall, the resort is pretty good, but it is getting dated. Our safe worked less than it worked. It took 4 days to get a hairdryer, much less a working hairdryer. Sand fleas in the bathroom sink and around our toothbrushes and glasses every morning. Toilet flusher kept running and running a few times yet maid service never thought to report the issue. Mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. Food was good, lots of variety. Service at morning buffet could be improved. Took a long time to get some water, if at all, table not always set fully. Poolside, restaurant and theatre service was very good. Nightly entertainment at the theatre was very good, but acoustics not the best, which is really a shame. Still worth the watch. Even with some of the snags (not all of them mentioned), our stay was very nice and relaxing, and we would recommend the resort though may suggest that people look at others that don't deal with the Travel Club stuff. This was extremely annoying!

Excellence El Carmen: Amazing Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed at the Excellence El Carmen and we had an amazing time. Wearing a mask was optional at the resort but we never felt safer with all the protocols they had in place. The restaurants were clean, the staff was amazing and the beaches were pristine. Everyone was so helpful. Our suite with our own private pool was breathtaking. We can’t wait to go to another Excellence property soon!

Secrets Royal Beach: Great Resort

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great at all restaurants and the buffet. You can choose between more lively main pools and more relaxed pool areas. COVID testing available at the resort for approx. CAD$100 per person. All staff are double-vaccinated and wear masks at all times. Overall, the resort is a very good value. We re-booked as soon as we returned home.

Ocean Blue and Sand: First time to Dominican and never going back!

I thought the hotel and everything was great until I discovered I was robbed by my maid (male) I stayed November 4 through to the 11th. I and my husband have travelled over 20 times and have never ever had this issue. I know there’s nothing I can do except not refer this resort to anybody, or never ever return myself. Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Great resort

We had an amazing time at the Chic Royalton in Punta Cana. The service and food were great, best part is real Clamato for us Canadians. Our butler Juan was amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had an amazing server at the Hunter steak house named Nester. My favourite bartender was Marisol. She too was amazing. I highly recommend this resort. When you go search out these wonderful people to say hi.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: FANTASTIC TIME!!

The Melia Punta Cana was amazing. Grounds were meticulous, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and rose petals. The staff went beyond our expectations. The food and drinks were top notch!! Loved it and I can't wait to return.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very beautiful and nice place
