Hotel Playa Paraiso: Great vacation at Pestana

This was my daughters and my second visit to Pestana Cayo Coco. We had a great time once again. The hotel, staff, beach, pool, entertainment are all great. The food was better than our last visit in March 2018. There is a new chef on board and a new Manager at the hotel so we did see some improvements and some added touches. I would recommend this hotel for sure! Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing resort

Hotel was wonderful, beaches fantastic, rooms great, hospitality wonderful. Will be returning. The people from the resort make it what it is. Nightly entertainment was fantastic . Premium lagoon upgrade is very worthwhile

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Fantastic Trip

Awesome trip with the family. Had a beautiful seaview room with a fantastic view! Food was good and pool was clean & comfortable beds. Couldn’t ask for more. What really sets this resort aside was the people who work there! They are such hard working sweet people who will help you with whatever you need. We will definitely be there again!!❤️❤️

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Relaxing Vacation!

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing fun holiday. Memories Flamenco met our expectations. The food could have been a little better but cuisine isn’t a priority for us on a trip like this. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating and the beach outstanding! All in all 7 days went by too fast!

Melia Costa Rey: Wonderful resort

We were upgraded to the Collections Area, and it's probably the worst thing that could have happened to us....... Why? Because Pullman's Collections Area built the bar for all other resorts out there. Simply wonderful....... We had an amazing time!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great beach

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Food in main restaurant was okay but could be better. All in all this hotel is a good value for the money. I could not get enough of the beach which is great with plenty of lounges around (and shade)

Hotel Mojito: Iberostar Mojito Cayo Coco Cuba

we were there in January 2018...right after the devastating hurricane every day, the workers were replanting gardens, clearing debris, and refurbishing rooms compared to other hotels on the beach, the work that had already been completed was mind boggling the restaurants hadn`t all been rebuilt, nor the cigar lounge the staff was great, as Cubans are the food was good and varied the pools (2) were refreshing the entertainment was good there was always someone performing in the lobby ever [... read more]y night

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Wonderful Vacation!!

This resort is kept immaculately clean! The rooms were beautiful, very, very spacious, and modern. The grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained. The beach is in a class all on its own...absolutely the most stunning beach I have seen...and the crystal clear water is shallow well out from the beach. The pool is large, clean and great for cooling off after being in the hot sun. We will be back to Memories Caribe! (Highly recommend the catamaran and snorkeling excursion!)

Melia Costa Rey: Wonderful time!

We loved our ocean front room! The beach was gorgeous! We took a day trip to Pilar Beach and the sand there was as soft as baby powder; we enjoyed the clean beach with beautiful views & a clear ocean to see lots of fish. We relaxed and celebrated our anniversary with wonderful service and beautiful views.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Not great impressions

Was recommended this resort by a travel agent but won’t be returning. Waited 7 hours for a room without a place to leave luggage and was faced with extremely rude check in staff. There were 2 pools that were swampy green due to filters being broken. They managed to clean one of the pools so that it was usable for 4 days of the trip. Beach was beautiful. Food was a hit or miss. Chicken was never fully cooked. Burgers at the snack bar were barely cooked, they were a slimy pink when cut op [... read more]en. Dinner was the only meal you were guaranteed to get a decent meal. The bartender Miguel at the pool bar was by far the nicest and the only server that seemed to want to refill your cup. I know it was Cuba but for the star rating on this resort I expected better. If you go don’t go based on star rating and pack lots of snacks and bug spray!

Hotel Mojito: Good resort

We had a nice time in this hotel, it has a wonderful beach, the room are cleaned every day very well, service is good, they reply fast to all inquiries, I would come back here again, highly recommend!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful resort

This was one of our best vacations in Cuba in the last 20 years or so. It is a small, well maintained resort, adults only, with beautiful grounds, excellent service and more than decent accommodations. The rooms are quite big, very clean. Towels changed daily, and every day a new towel arrangement on our bed. I loved the open concept bathroom and a walk-in shower, very handy when you come from the beach. The food was very good, much better than in a 5-star hotel in Varadero we visited a couple of years ago. There is a big grilling station with two cooks, with choices of fish, mussels, shrimps, pork, chicken and beef to grill... pasta station was excellent, where the cook made pasta with your choice of add-ins and sauces. Smoothie station in the morning, fresh fruits, pastries....several choices of cheeses and ham/salami....decent selection of desserts, ice creams, sweets, for everyone's taste: mango and coconut ice creams were to die for. I find that people who normally do not cook at home, or live off the junk order in, are the ones who complain about the food the most... myself, I appreciated the selection and the fact that someone else cooked and cleaned for us. The beach was one or the most amazing beaches.... very clean, lots of sun huts, so we never had to run early in the morning to save a space.....the sea water was pristine, very warm and shallow for good 25 feet or so....there is a beach bar and little pizza restaurant, with a great pizza.... the guys serving always with a big smile, excellent service....I loved the churros guy... he made churros at his station by the pool, and every day, at noon and around 3 pm, he was walking down to the beach with a tray with hot churros, giving them to the guests... he was in full cook uniform, sweating in the heat, but still the biggest smile in the world. Although we did not go to the entertainment programs, we were listening to some great music coming from the theater every evening... the aqua show was really mesmerizing, those kids are true artists. There is really not one single thing that I could pinpoint as not satisfactory. I cannot single out one single person at the resort for being more nice and helpful... they all are that way.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Very disappointing

I took my family to this resort from June 22 to June 29th to celebrate my daughters 3rd birthday and my sons 13th birthday. Upon arrival, I found the check in to be very disorganized. It took long to get our rooms and even longer to get a driver to take us to our room. The buffet - It was freezing everyday. Thank goodness that we were able to sit outside otherwise I would of froze eating my food. The flies are everywhere in the buffet. The buffet at the beach has better quality food however it is smaller and the line ups for food are long. I waited 20mins to get fish from the grill. The room - the maid did an amazing job of cleaning the room everyday. the only fault I found was that the mini fridge was not restocked daily, the shower was always filled with sand and the toilet barely flushed. The pool - it was filthy. You could see the griminess of the pool before entering. The resort has 2 pool areas. They closed one pool on our second day there to clean it can never reopened it. Im guessing they wanted to keep it clean for the new group of people arriving the following week. the pool that was open was absolutely disgusting. filled with rust, algae, and dirt. beyond nasty. we did not even go in because of how nasty it was. the kids pool was so dirty that the water looked greenish brown. The staff was disgruntled and very rude. They made us feel unwanted and like we were bothering them when we asked for something. Only Pol and Malva were pleasant. I was very surprised at the lack of service this resort provided. 90% of the staff were rude. Very unacceptable and it made us very uncomfortable which took away from our vacation experience. The only high point about this resort is the beach. It is breathtaking. If it was not for the beach, we would of went to another resort after the 1st day...which is what alot of the people who came there did. I would not return to this resort and not recommend any one going unless they dont mind rude employees and mediocre cleanliness. we could not enjoy the night entertainment because of all the bugs eating us alive.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: One of the good resorts in Cayo Coco

My 5th time at this resort and I never get tired of it. I think that they have recovered pretty good from Irma, still a bit of work to be done but very well compensated by the kindness and good humour of the staff, especially Joel at the coffee specialty, O'Reiley at the lobby bar, Noilen at the italian restaurant and Yosmel the bell boy and all the rest of the staff. Everyone makes you feel very special. Place is clean, well kept. Very good quality for the price.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Resort

I liked: - that it was not too big. Medium sized. - had a beautiful ocean view room. - the service was great....all the personnel were nice. - some people I heard had sand bugs in their beds...or bugs from trees. so that was not great...one changed rooms twice. so they can change it if you want. - I had a great room. I think it was new. - the beach stretch was lovely. quiet as I liked it and wanted it. - pilar beach 20 mins away was amazing!!!! have to go see it. best beach I [... read more] have been to. went twice. - the beach of the hotel had algae (after the oragan) so it was a bit yucky to swim in and I didn't. I swam close to the beach. there it was fine. it gets darker with algae if you want to go in. - nice lobby. - disco not great! - cave party outing was not Cuban music. It was disappointing! - food was great compared to cuba! I had mangoes, papayas every day and fresh fish. the buffet was really nice. lots of choices.

Hotel Mojito: Okay Resort

The hotel is okay and the beach is too far but very nice and didnt like the music playing on the beach all the time The staff was very friendly and the mosguitos or whatever small flies attacked all of us The food was okay nothing special and there is nothing to see on this island

Awesome resort! Very big resort but beautiful and modern! Beach amazing as always and staff were pleasant! Can’t expect too my from the food but there’s always a drink for everyone!! Definitely would go back!

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Cheap and Cheerful Getaway

We had a fantastic room right on the ocean! The food was descent and they had fresh fish, veggies and fruits, the beef stew was also good. The only annoying thing was that they did not have soda water, ran out of tonic water and vodka.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: BEST BEACH - GREAT MEMORIES AT MEMORIES CARIBE

Hi All, I travelled solo to Memories Caribe and have the BEST time. Beach was BEAUTIFUL, staff were wonderful, grounds were very well kept, resort was clean, pool was great. I had a wonderful time , met some great people, and I thought this was a great value for an Adult only resort. I will definitely return
