Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Resort!

This is my 3rd time to this resort. Food was excellent, went to the Buffet for dinner twice, Steak House, Italion, Japanese and the taco bar at the shopping area. All very good. Staff are friendly, room was nice. Pools are big and awesome and the beach is nice with nice waves for playing in. You get served drinks on the beach!! The nightly entertainment is mostly exceptional for a resort. The only downside was we went during the American spring break and there were a lot of teens.. it was  [... read more]quite busy with people, so next time will not go at end of March. This resort is also located 1/2 way between Cancun and Play Del Carmen if you want to do some excursions!

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Absolutely fantastic resort and we simply love it.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: It was an ok resort. Seen worst and seen much better.

Our room was quite spacious. Though we tried to upgrade...impossible. Didn't appreciate it. Most of the food was pretty good except the steak was like rubber. One of the 3 restaurants we went to I took Pasta dish with lobster which was impossible to chew. Entertainment was acceptable. the grounds were nice and clean. Room services was awful. Didn't clean our room every day, ran out of toilet paper, no tissue.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Great experience

This hotel was beautiful, the Lobby was very open and made it great to sit and relax while taking a break from the rest of the things to do there. The shows were awesome. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We ate at the Japanese, Mediterranean and the Gourmet and they all were delicious. Hotel Mojito: Amazing!

If you're looking for an amazing beach, then I wouldn't really recommend this resort. There just isn't much tanning area on the sand BUT the staff is amazing and I will definitely come back ! I've been here twice because it's always such good energy

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing

Staff were excellent . Room very clean. Food excellent variety. View was breathtaking. 7 days was not long enough will try 10 days or 14 days next time. Now the evening shows Were and are a must see Excellent job done.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Quite little resort

Really enjoyed the late night snack bar. Liked that the resort was just the right size that you did not have to walk forever to get to one end to the other. Great excess to the beach and the beach had plenty of lounge chairs.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Good value

The rooms were kept clean, we knew the fridge would be restocked every other day, but we still had to track someone down. Toilet paper was supplied in rooms but not replenished often at the public washrooms so u have to keep a roll with you. Al la carts were very good and the serving staff were very intensive. Wished the buffet would change up a bit. It was mostly the same food every time. Bartender rocked of course. Night entertainment had some good shows and some so-so shows. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Disappointed

Terrible service. We had to pour our own drinks a number of times because staff would just walk away. We went three days without towels or face cloths. We had numerous items taken from our room. We got locked out of our room and had to go to the lobby five times and waited two hours to get back in. Toilet seats were missing. We had a suite which is supposedly the best. We had a terrible view. No oceanview as we thought. Food was awful. Same everyday. Except Japanese. That was actually pretty goo [... read more]d. Beach was beautiful. Not worth it for me. Very disappointed and will not go back.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Fabolus Resort

I enjoyed my stay in your resort. The crew of your resort were wonderful. I found the crew were always smiling and the people enjoyed them selves. I am looking forward to vacation again. it may sound difficult but perhaps you may want to include vegetarian dishes more in your menu.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Lovely Resort

This was my fourth time to Cuba, have stayed at a different resort each time. The grounds at this resort are beautiful. Food was not as good as other resorts I have stayed. But I certainly did not go hungry, there was lots to choose from. Our room was not cleaned as it should have been. At other resorts we have stayed at in Cuba, our rooms were better cleaned. We were suppose to get water daily in our room, which we didn't. We had to ask for water. When we did ask, one of the employees told u [... read more]s we could buy water in the gift shop. One night at the romantic restaurant, I ordered a drink and the waitress did not bring it. When I asked for it again, she was very rude. Other than this one waitress, the rest of the staff was extremely friendly. Overall we had a wonderful week, beach is fantastic. I would stay at this resort again and would recommend it.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Relaxing friendly resort

Enjoyed the smaller size of this resort. The layout has the feel of a small Spanish village with small squares with fountains for sitting and enjoying a cold beer amidst the mature palm trees and Caribbean sun.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: really relaxing quality place

We had a fantastic time at the Iberostar Ensenachos Good: - the grounds are amazing, well kept, super clean - rooms are clean and pretty for Cuba - I saw NO bug at all...not even a fly - Best service I ever had, they work sooooo hard to make your stay unbelievable - food actually decent for Cuba - best beaches I've ever seen! No doubt about that one. - café latte was insanely delicious - never an issue to have a chair by pool or beach, never ever. Best part of my stay as this is a n [... read more]one sense fight everytime at other resorts. To improve: - the wifi is none existent. We tried to log on 50 times and it failed every time. Hard to communicate with your loved ones and I hated that. - The resort is huge... they don't have enough carts going around so we had to walk a lot so NOT a kid friendly hotel unless you stay at the kids pool/park zone which was super cute for kids under 7 I'd say. - only 3 resto reservations allowed. That was pathetic considering the fact that they were empty every time! - no snack in between meal time. They close and you have no snack place and their store is closed most of the day so if you are missing cream, want anything, think again.... Also they carry no chips! What? LOL I nearly died. Just kidding but seriously no chips?? - super boring: disco never open, not much entertainment, really really quiet! Now for me it was a positive because that is exactly what I wanted but if you are looking for a place full of life and young fun people, don't go there. It's more an elderly resort to be quite honest. I still loved every second of it and I'd go back in a heart beat if my objective was to rest and only rest.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: The Best Trip!

This was my best experience to Cuba so far. The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful, the staff was so friendly and awesome, the food was great, with made to order eggs for breakfast, and made to order meat for dinner. The beaches were breathtaking and the pool areas were great, especially the kids area. Rooms were clean with a giant balcony and big bathroom. No complaints anywhere! I don't normally return to resorts but I will be returning to this one!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: We had a amazing trip

As our second time @ Iberostar Paraiso beach, the weather was great, sunny most of the time with a few clouds. The food is very good, a lot of choices. The bedroom very clean, comfortable bed and good service. The staff very friendly, always very helpful. Only comment, if you do not wish to buy a membership do not accept a free breakfast to next door resort, waste of time. But you could get a free massage.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful Resort

Amazing pools and grounds , beautiful lobby and common areas.Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable but the cot for my daughter to sleep on was too hard. She was able to sleep on the couch instead.Musical entertainment every night in various areas , piano , bands , saxophone player.Very nice .Beach is incredible!

Grand Memories Cayo Largo: Iberostar Playa Blanca

I traveled march 18-25th, 2017, with my husband to this resort. We are aged 30 and 33. We aren't party animals and often hit the hay around 9pm. What to expect: - no beach, rocky clif & a beautiful board walk to look over the rocks at the ocean. - there is a beach, you Walk a short distance (15-25 minutes) down the pathway and then down another boardwalk to reach a lovely beach! Although, Cubans charge you to use the chairs, unless it's in front of a different resort and then you can "act [... read more] like you belong" to use their chairs. - buffet is not "bad" but it is simple Cuban food. Plain rice, vegetables (over boiled often) and a meat, turkey, chicken or fish usually. - the pool is not the best. Very mediocre, not necessarily kept the cleanest and it is salt water. - the workers are friendly, but not overly friendly - taxi rides are all 2cuc per person. - playa serena is fantastic! Be prepared that you get charged 2cuc per person for chairs here - we saw zero gross bugs! - if you're not picky and you're okay with a walk to a beach then you'll enjoy this place. - rooms were average, tv was primarily Spanish.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Amazing PEOPLE

Beautiful grounds and pool, the room was nicely renovated with a great shower and bath. Meals were fine and good selection. Our main complaint was the uncomfortable beds and pillows. One would expect at least newer beds and decent pillows in a Four Star Hotel even in CUBA. The staff were excellent and did their best to accommodate any problem. Judy at the Front Desk went out of her way to help us. Good Job and thank you.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Resort

This hotel was ideal for us. I liked that the resort was smaller, so everything was close. We found the food great, tasty even for picky eaters there was always something to chose. The entertainment staff did a great job!
