Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Great week at Royal Decameron

We had a great time at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was plentiful and very good. The beach is nice the property is very well kept and the view daily is awesome. Rooms are a good size with a great balcony. The only negative it would be nice to have a fridge in each room.we will return to this resort.

Riu Negril: Rui beach club Negril Jamaica

The hotel property was very clean. Main pool with swim up bar got pretty gross daily . All the other pools were very clean . The bartenders and waiters all very friendly. The buffet was very good always lots of food lots of variety . Only one restraunt was alla Cart. And it was very good . Asia was buffet Italian and French just main coarse was served . Sports bar had cold sandwiches and pop corn 24 hours so if you wanted something late at night not much choice. Activity staff worked very [... read more] hard to keep guests entertained .

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Beautiful family resort

This is a five star all the way. Gorgeous beach, lovely staff, gourmet cuisine. You will not be disappointed. Third time to Jamaica and this resort outshines the others. Be sure to say hello to Mark (the food and beverage manager) Amazing and gracious man.

Riu Reggae: Riu Reggae was great!

We had a gardenview room. The room itself was updated and clean! The bed was king size and was very comfortable. We were on the second floor, the view from the balcony was not great but it didn't really matter cos when you think about it your not in the room for long The girls that clean the room did a great job!! The service in the restaurants was great! . I will definitely be going back when I return to Jamaica!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Resort Apr 5 - 12

We were very impressed with this resort. We had paid for a sea view suite, but were upgraded to an oceanview with corner balcony on a higher floor. The views were magnificent. All the hotel staff went over and above to make sure we were happy and and were so friendly. I have to say that the food was probably the best we've had at any of the all-inclusives we've been to, so tasty with all the spices and so flavourful and we could not get enough of the jerk chicken. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Ocean view all rooms!

Because of the ocean (all rooms have it) and the quick easy Beach, buffet, and a la carte access (just steps from our room), we liked this resort much better than the huge resort complexes we have visited in the past (Barcelo, Dreams,etc). Especially with small kids no need to lug stuff around and take trams from here to there within the resort. Also never got an ocean view before at larger resorts because of the price, but here we were pleasantly surprised to find all rooms have a beautiful oce [... read more]an view. The water is so clear and the waves are pretty gentle, warm, excellent with small kids. Also the free snorkeling equipment and reef area is lovely, can see the reef and fish without even needing a snorkel, at ankle/waist depth. Great water sports all included free and always available immediately due to small size of the resort, lovely catamaran rides, kayak, paddle board, wind surfing. Food at a la carte was amazing, buffet nice omlets/pancakes/waffles/fruits etc on the morning; pasta/jerk chicken very nice as well. Great information on ingredients from buffet staff for allergies and accommodation of recipes at a la carte, however would avoid all desserts with a nut allergy as creme brulet at a la carte was supposed to be nut free but came with a nutty chocolate on top (luckily we guessed it was unsafe and avoided it).

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Excellent overall

Small hotel with everything very close. Beach, buffet area, bar, pool etc only a few steps away. Helpful staff. Good water sport activities. Food was good, would have loved to see more seafood options. Not very nut allergy friendly, staff didn't seem very knowledgeable on contamination etc.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort

Went with my grandson in April and loved the resort. Grounds were beautiful, the food was good, and the beach was greAt for kids.On the negative side they run out of drinks in bars, all carpets in hallways are filthy, and you have to ask for face cloths. All in all great resorts for families but for couples I would suggest somewhere else.

Sandals South Coast: Amazing staff

Was an awesome resort... Only issue I had was the constant u p selling ... When you Pay $8000 for a week at an all inclusive resort these should be included. No motorized water was a bummer to. All staff were fantastic, friendly as well as polite.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Quality Value!!

Great value as it is a 4.5 resort with 3.5 prices. Food, rooms, pool, and beach outstanding. Staff curtious and helpful but remember you are on a Caribbean resort not a big city hotel so be patient and smile and you will be treated like royalty.

Royalton Blue Waters: Royalton Blue Waters-Jamaica

Another outstanding trip with our second family. We have met many people at the resort and together, they create a very positive and relaxing holiday. All aspects of the resort are positive- the food is excellent at the buffet and a la cartes. The rooms are large and clean. The overall resort is clean, well maintained and well groomed. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful Resort but understaffed

We were there April1- 7th. The building and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not one complaint about the food it was excellent. I would say its very understaffed for the size. Beach is terrible!

Breathless Montego Bay: Poor Experience

The resort should not have been open when we went. Staff and management were even telling us this. They were understaffed and most of the resort was not functioning. The Breathless theme is apparently playing house music and only house music. Would have been nice if they advertised this somewhere. The manager Jeff told us we should not be there and that it was a privilege to party, not a right. The rooms were not fully functioning, nice and updated but not functioning. Riu Montego Bay: Mediocre Hotel

I stayed at this resort with my family (family of 4), children included for 7 days and we found this resort mediocre compared to other ones we have been to. The washrooms were disgusting- toilets always clogged. It was hard to flush the toilet, my daughter often complained that she could not flush it. We were not able to visit any of the A la carte's because you can no longer book reservations, it is on a first come first serve basis with ridiculous lines--try standing in line with two c [... read more]hildren a 2 and 5 year old. There wasn't a huge selection at the buffet and very little authentic Jamaican food. However the Jerk Hut is amazing we went every single day. Our room was cleaned only two times out of seven days! That is ridiculous especially with kids. The beds were not the greatest but overall the room was okay, spacious. They also did not restock the minibar and fridge had to call the front desk for it to be done. We found the beach very rough only spent time there twice out of the whole trip other than when we went down to the Jerk Hut to get our lunch. The pools were alright, the side with the swim up bar is very busy. The entertainment staff (we love Zoey and Foxxi!) were very friendly and interactive. My family enjoyed the shows every evening. We received great service from all staff overall. For how expensive it was to stay at this resort we definitely didn't expect it to be mediocre.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: GREAT RESORT

The resort was the best one we have ever been to. Service was amazing as was the top shelf drinks. The food was good as well and the fitness club was amazing. Many different exercise times and routines available most of the day.

Grand Pineapple Beach: Great Little Gem

Had a fantastic time. Although the hotel needs a little tender loving.. ( beach chairs, new cushions little things) it was very homey. Reminded me of an old resort Jack Tar Same standards. The team they have are great. Would go back in a heart beat ❤

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Great vacation

The staff and service were excellent. Food was very good. The pools beach and the gardens were beautiful. Some areas of the resort could use some updating, furniture and carpeting worn out. Concierge was applying pressure for me to attend a special breakfast where I assumed some sort of sale was going to be promoted. First day we arrived we received at least 6 phone calls asking how things were going from butler and guest services. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: FANTASTIC RESORT

We just came back from a week long stay at Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay. We felt like we were in paradise. The resort was exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end. If I had one complaint it would be the Luxury Lobby Bar - they were always running out of Bailey's and Rum Cream. This would be the only spot that I found the staff to be less than friendly or accommodating. We will definitely vacation at another [... read more] Luxury Bahia resort and we wouldn't hesitate to return to Runaway Bay.

Sunscape Splash: Good Value with some needed improvements

I have been to several Caribbean resorts and several in Jamaica and many of them transfer ownership many times over the years - this resort is no different. All employees were helpful and attentive. Rooms need more work but for the most part they were clean and inviting. Entertainment was the worst I've seen. Entertainment staff was minimal as well but the resort wasn't that busy. I can't see the resort having enough loungers if the resort was busier and several were broken and attempts were made to fix them - you can't glue plastic back together. The staff were the best. Always welcoming, friendly and willing to assist.

Sunscape Splash: Great Vacation

The Sunscape Splash was exactly as explained in the information folder. It had great amenities for the kids with the splash pad and it catered also to the adults without kids who wanted to be around other adults. The hotel was nicely laid out so that the kids section was on one side of the resort and the adults were on the other. So you do not need to worry about the kids always running around where you will be. One thing I did not like was that the entertainment was lacking. The nightly sh [... read more]ows lacked in every way possible and they did them early on in the evening so by 10pm there was nothing to do at the resort. The disco had great music and pool tables but the max amount of people in there were 10 usually. However, the people that worked there and the a la carte restaurants made up for the entertainment. I would definitely go back there and I would bring my son. It lived up to its 4 star rating.
