Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Fantastic resort and staff

A Huge thank you to Susan Snider for helping us book our trip to Royalton Bavaro in Punta Cana. This was our first trip to DR as we usually go to Cuba. This Resort was so beautiful. We felt like royalty the entire trip and absolutely loved everything about it. We booked the swim up rooms and loved them. The staff were excellent and we couldn’t have imagined a better trip. Ocean El Faro: Amazing resorts

What great vacation I had at Ocean El Faro Punta Cana one of the best 👌!!!Resort is new and very clean !!!!Staff did very great job making sure we have great time!!!!Food is very good There is 6 restaurant to go and buffet and coffe place omg and much more !!!!!!4 big pools and lazy river swings and beach with bar on it omg I can go on and on !!!!! There is SPA we went fir facial and it was the best one ever!!!! MY BEST VOCATION EVER LOVE OCEAN EL FARO ❤

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Not what I expected

Service was garbage and rude. Breakfast lunch and dinner was the same everyday. We went to the a la carte ended up going back to the buffet again. The room smelled like mildew. First time staying at the Bahia. Melia hotels ans serenis, RIU and the royalton grand memories so much better.

Ocean El Faro: Amazing resort

Everything is so beautiful and so nice. Very Very clean resort, and very friendly people. I can't wait to go back. Room is nice,large clean. Food is amazing, people is so friendly and helpful. I'm talking to my all friends about this resort how nice is.

Be Live Collection Punta Cana Adults Only: Last trip to the Dominican Republic

This was my 2 time to the Dominican Republic.. I will never return! . Everything I paid for was not working. Or I had to pay! I had the master swim out suit . My pool lights burnt. Lies about it the whole time. American money!!! Everything is way too much money!! Rude. Disrespectful. Never again.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Wonderful Vaccation

The hotel was very clean and followed covid protocols. Masks were worn while entering restaurants and could be removed while seated. Temperatures taken when entering restaurants as well. Buffets we’re all behind glass and food was served to guests by a gloved and masked staff member. The staff was also working a 2 week rotation where they stayed on location to lesson exposure. The resort was only 30 percent capacity so there was no lineups and service was amazing. Clean masks were provided [... read more] daily in our room. Hand sanitizer was readily available all over the resort. Table were set 2 metres apart even in outdoor settings. Covid testing (pCR) available at the resort for $90US many people we met at the airport had to go to offsite clinics and paid $250 per person. Overall we felt very safe and commend the staff and management at Barcelo Bavero beach and our Agent from trip central for making sure we were prepared before our vacation to download the ArriveCAN app and also the QR code application to enter DR. The only suggestion we would have would be a reminder to clients to download and complete another application for QR code to leave DR to save time at the airport upon return. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Majestic Elegance

Majestic it was such a great experience the rooms were fantastic the cleaning people were wonderful we had a waitress Judit and she was absolutely amazing loved her love her love her. We had a butler and his name was Dario I don’t think I have enough words to explain how wonderful of a person he was he made our experience the best it could be I would definitely come back because of your staff. It really was a great experience

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very good resort

We spent our vacation at Luxury Bahia Principal Esmiralda in October 2021, very good positive impression, safe environment and very helpful staff, any questions they immediately react. We asked to print some documents and find emails with test results, very appreciate assistance. Very important for us that hotel doing tests on site, and results in 24 hours after.. Also food is good,,a lot of sea food, fruits vegetables and meat. Beach very clean and safe, every day they disinfect all equipments. [... read more] Room service very good. A lot of entertainment during day and night, we had chance to see beautiful shows at resorts around, especially lights show.

Ocean El Faro: Beautiful Resort

We recently returned from a fabulous week at Ocean El Faro. I travelled with five family members. Check in was simple. The lobby is massive with amazing decorating. The resort is gorgeous. The grounds are well maintained. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The pools are kept at a very comfortable temperature and the resort is very family friendly. All staff are polite and friendly. The resort follows Covid guidelines. Any inside activity requires guests to wear masks. Hand hy [... read more]giene is required prior to going into restaurant facilities. All staff wear masks. The buffet requires patrons to wash their hands and don a glove. The facility to have the required Covid PCR test is located at the hotel for convenience. I was hesitant to travel but after going to Ocean El Faro I would feel comfortable to travel there again.

Ocean El Faro: Great entertainment staff, weak hotel

Entertainment staff was great, especially Wilson, Wonder, Ana, and Laura, Francis at the sports bar was amazing, As far as the rest goes, the resort was really nice and well kept. But the staff was really rude and cranky, and the genders that are around Wednesday and Saturday and very pushy and annoying, food was great everywhere, hotel is great but because of the majority of the staff I will not visit again

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Unsatisfied customer

It was our third time at this hotel and service went down drastically comparing to the previous trips. Although service wasn’t bad everywhere. Room cleaning was excellent. Lobby and piano bars, coffee shop service was perfect. Special thank you to the beach bar 4 team for their service, especially Fernando and Alejandro. They were the best! But at the rest of the places, you have to ask for the service since no one sees you (literally). For 11 days us watching the show in the theatre not a sin [... read more]gle waiter came by to offer the drink. They were walking around us sometimes serving nearby table but didn’t see us at all. Same with the buffet. You have to ask for the water, drink, spoon, etc. Also, food in the buffet was worse than last time. Plus, on top we got burned ribs in the steak house.

Riu Republica: Great Resort!

The grounds are beautiful, the pools are fantastic, the beach is incredible. Food was great, there is something for everyone. Sit in Jorge’s or Juana’ section in the buffet. These people make you feel like family. Also Wellington, one of the pool servers was so attentive to our group and was constantly bringing us drinks in the pool. Great service. The only complaint I have was there was never any change at the front desk to break big bills for tipping. We ran out of small bills and t [... read more]ried to change our money 5 times and they kept saying they didn’t have any. I would 100% recommend this resort!!!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great Family vacation

Hotel was great, pools were fantastic, food was ok but nothing to write home about the buffets were very low in selection of food only the a la carts we ok The premium rooms we had were fantastic great ocean view Beaches are poor has too much sea weed couldn’t even get in ocean and no protection from sun with chairs on the beach

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Awesome resort, great vacation!

The resort is beautiful and super clean. The staff are friendly and always willing and ready to accommodate. The rooms are great and housekeeping did a great job. The fridge was always full of water, soda and beer. Lots of clean towels daily. The food was excellent and a great selection. We spent every day at the beach and the service was awesome. Beach bartenders and servers were the best. Staff wore masks and most of the guests did in public areas. Once seated at dining tables we re [... read more]moved our masks. Restaurants recorded names and room #s when entering. Covid test done on site prior to returning to Canada and results emailed to us the night prior to leaving. We would definitely go back to this resort. They always had masks on.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Amazing resort, beautiful property and excellent customer service

The experience at the resort was amazing. Beautiful property, clean rooms and excellent customer service. It is not a party resort but we were looking for something that was relaxing and peaceful with a nice beach. We booked Level rooms which made the experience even better. It a great experience for the price we paid.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Beautiful Resort!

We stayed at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro at the beginning of August. It was a gorgeous resort, very peaceful. It was busy, but staff ensured that Covid protocol was in place at all times. The drinks were absolutely fantastic, and the food was good. Definitely a good resort to go with a partner.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Great Staff

Staff was pleasant and helpful. The resort was clean and they did a great job at making us feel like they were taking every precaution for Covid. The food was average and as someone who can not eat gluten, I was limited on what I could eat. There was complete confusion on what I could eat at the buffet by all of the staff so I wasn't able to enjoy lunch. The restaurants in the evening were able to accommodate. Booking our covid test to return to Canada was difficult and they didn't think they would have time even though we booked as soon as we arrived and were not able to book until we got to the hotel. A few days later they were able to fit us in early in the morning two days before our flight and said we'd have our results by the next day at 6 pm. We didn't get them until 8 am of the day we were leaving. Everything worked out, but it was very stressful which isn't what you want your vacation to be.

Excellence Punta Cana: Exceptional Cleanliness, Food, and Service

We were on our Honeymoon and could of not of had a better resort. The hotel grounds are beautiful and clean. The pool is the amazing and there is no better way to spend the day, then floating down it like a lazy river with a frozen drink in your hand. The rooms are spotless and updated. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Always Feels Like Home

This was our fourth trip to Dreams Palm Beach and we were constantly reminded why we keep coming back. The staff at Dreams, from the Preferred Club, to the restaurants, to the cleaning staff and maintenance crews, everyone is so welcoming and always willing to greet you with an enthusiastic 'Hola!' or 'Buenos Dias!' Everyone takes pride in what they do, making you feel like you are truly part of their family. He greets us with open arms when we arrive and from that moment forward he treats you like a part of his family. He is one of the main reasons we didn't want to go anywhere else for our first trip out of COVID, and why we keep coming back. He never stops working and is full of surprises. Pablo - working behind the scenes as the Social Media Coordinator - my wife's BFF at Dreams - one of the most pleasant and caring people we've met at Dreams - we only wish we were able to see him more often this trip - we know we will keep in touch! Emillio - If you hear anyone say 'EXCELLENTE' at Dreams, know that they probably heard it first from Emillio - working the Preferred Club Adult's section - Emillio is beloved by everyone he interacts with. He does his work with pride and treats the Preferred Club like his home. Emillio is as close as they come to a celebrity at Dreams - in a word Rockstar! Ariady - 'Ari' is Wilson's partner in crime at the check-in desk. A great big teddy-bear with a warm heart, always quick with a joke and never without a smile on his face. We remember Ari as a bit shy when we first met him - happy to say he has burst from that shell and is just a pleasure to be around! Cristina - our hostess with the mostess, at the Seaside Grill (SSG) - amazing smile and welcomed us with enthusiasm on every visit. We start and end every trip with a visit to the SSG, and Cristina is one of the reasons why! Yeimey - also at the SSG was also terrific and helpful, she was super friendly and made sure we were well hydrated with every meal :) Juan and Ivan - two more of our SSG favorites welcomed us home and we are so happy we were able to see them again this visit - we were just a little sad we didn't get to see them more often. Ricardo - I think he has found a way to clone himself as he is seemingly everywhere, from SSG to the restaurants and the buffet - Ricardo is always on the move and such a pleasure to interact with. Demetrio - also a man on the move - he's got a VIP touch and makes himself available for whatever you need, whenever you bump into him. Valter Espinoza - Dreams Palm Beach General Manager - while I've never spoken to him personally, we wanted to note that he runs a tremendous operation and you can tell he leads by example; not expecting anyone on staff to do something he wouldn't do himself. Example: in the middle of a tropical storm, we witnessed Valter with a stack of abandoned poolside cups and an errant floaty under his arm at the Preferred Club pool. Drenched from head to toe but making sure the grounds were kept free of debris and looking pristine once the sun was ready to come out again. A few new faces that we enjoyed on this trip include: Naomi - our server at El Patio and also working the breakfast buffet - it was nice to see more female representation on the server side of things and she was so sweet and friendly - personality++ - can't wait to see her again. Geichel - A bundle of enthusiasm, working at Bordeaux, Portofino and the buffet - A baseball fan, so we instantly connected and full of energy; a pleasure to interact with, whenever we had the chance. Carlos Alfredo - Pool side at the Preferred Club adult's pool (when Emillio is on break) and at Portofino - 'Yeah Baby' this kid has charisma and just puts a smile on your face when you see him. Manuel - Last here, but not least, our AMAZING room attendant. It was so refreshing to come back from a morning dip each day to a room that felt as fresh on day 7 as it did on the day we arrived - he takes pride in his work and it shows. We love Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana and can't wait to be back... thank goodness that our next trip is less than four months away - we're already booked for December 2021. See you all soon family!! Ocean Blue and Sand: Punta Cana, Ocean Blue Resort, Bavaro Beach

During covid it was a challenge to finally arrive at resort. It was an incredible stay at this beautiful resort, we upgraded on arrival to the privilege rooms which are much bigger and we had our own private beds and lounge chairs on the beach, also had our very own contiki bar service, which was outstanding. We highly recommend upgrading once there if it’s available. Can’t say enough good things about our experience! Just be aware there is a big issue with seaweed on the shore!
