Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great Hotel!

We had a wonderful 7 days with 1 excursion day, which we really enjoyed. The resort is very peaceful, food is good and plentiful. If you want noise, games and entertainment during the day, there is a pool area near the beach for that, however, we enjoyed going to the beach in the morning, lunch at Las Olas and then retreat to the quieter pool away from everything. One thing that was annoying was even though it was posted on the beach tiki huts 'reserving prohibited', it was not enforced. It  [... read more]was very frustrating that the availability of tiki huts was next to nil. All in all, we really had a great stay.

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Good resort

Hotel was good. So big that we got lost multiple times but overall OK. We've been to better buffet before and wasn't able to use the other resorts of the complex buffet for breakfast or dinner but the beach snack bars worked well for us for lunch. Main buffet had not a good variety of food. Beach was very crowded as we haven't seen before in any other resort but didn't bother us much. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: beautiful resort

beautiful room 2020 wonderful shower excellent pool amazing beach food was great and the people very nice at night time walkways were well life up. yes we would come here again. on our last two days we found a wonderful spot right between the beach pool and bar we stayed there for the two days. thank you very much

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing resort

We had an amazing time, we stayed over on the luxury side and it was definitely worth the upgrade. However ask to not be placed in building 26 on the back side you’ll receive a terrible view and hear nothing but cars going on the highway and the back yard dogs barking all night. Food was absolutely amazing and we loved everything and had no complaints, the jerk chicken and corn on the cob at lunch was our favourite. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, Butler service on the beach had to have been one of our favourites. All in all we would absolutely be back again but under strict no building 26 lol. Also if your booking any excursions chukka was amazing. We did two tours with them over the week and had a blast, would highly recommend.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Pretty Decent

People were SUPER nice. More for an older crowd. Not much night life other than the kareoke bar which nobody really sings at, and the “club” which is never really full. Beach is decent, pool is decent. Drinks were amazing. Rooms are constantly being cleaned and food and drinks in the refrigerator are constantly being refilled which is amazing. Bahia Principe Grand Samana Roulette: Beatiful views!

I will start off by saying I love Bahia Principe resorts. They are very consistent with their service across all hotels within the carribean. Bahia Cayacoa was a beautiful and unqiue resort. This hotel was spotless and I always saw the staff working hard and cleaning. ( I even saw someone polishing with a toothbrush ) The animation team here is the best! My favourite a le carte was personally the French and Italian resturants. The service was good although sometimes you needed to ask more than once. I remember to humble myself when in a developing country and I understand everyone is working as hard as they can. It did not bother me if i had to get up to get my own water once in awhile. If you love the beach I would not suggest this hotel. The beach was ok. A little rocky, sand is not white, nothing to look at in the bay if you would like to snorkle. This hotel is all about the views and again is beautiful for different reasons. If you want a beautiful beach I suggest staying at Bahia Elportillo or the luxury hotel on Cayo Lavantado. I would also suggest the walk on the bridge to nowhere which is attachted to the hotel if you are into a little side adventure.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Wrongful time

Hotel was great and booking the trip was a breeze. Service was good and very friendly. Very large resort so lots of walking but good scenery. Lots of activities to keep busy. Pool chairs were a bit of an issue. However excellent trip all around.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Would not return

We had the most wonderful time with family and friends at my daughters wedding. We chose the Italian restaurant for dinner, drinks and dancing and can’t say enough about the wonderful food and staff. They went above and beyond. Of course we paid $$$$$ for dinner and drinks at an all inclusive, lol. That being said the rooms could use a good cleaning. They only seem to do surface cleaning which does not include glass on tables. Carpet in the hallway is filthy with stains and elevators sm [... read more]ell of sewage. Staff at pool bar are rude and talk a good talk for tips only. Towels go missing on a regular basis and if you ask for assistance expect to be sent in 3 directions for help. Any request for help is met with a disgusting look and they have no intention of helping. We stopped asking after a few days. Luckily our group made the trip the best time. Shame on Air Transat for supporting this hotel.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Fabulous vacation

The grounds are stunning. Rooms are very clean. Food was so good and plenty of it and lots of variety. The pool was huge and had lots of activities going on. Beautiful place. Would definetly go back here. Super friendly staff and very accomodating for our group of 22.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: This resort is "Excellente"!!

We just got back from spending 1 week at this resort and our staying went too quick. Our experience was exceptional. Let me start by saying our room was clean and housekeeping did a great job keeping it that way. The gardens are immaculate and beautiful. The lobby was always clean with many areas to sit and have a drink or coffee with our friends. The food was ample, fresh and well presented at the buffets and the service was very friendly. We tried all 6 a la carte restaurants and the food was amazing. They offer many choices and again the food was fresh and plentiful. The animation team, Beba, Jocelyn, Ana Celia, Cindy, Chocolat and Dario, worked tirelessly all day to ensure the guests were entertained and having a good time. Santo and Celeste at the swim up bar were always friendly and aimed to please everyone. Edy, our butler, made our stay special by helping us celebrate our anniversary with a bottle of champagne, lavender scent essence ready to heat, rose petals sprinkled in our room with a nice hot bath ready for us. We came with another couple who were celebrating their anniversary as well who got the same treatment. If there is anything to complain about it's the lack of english t.v. stations however with the free wifi and our tablet, we were able to stream movie and tv shows. This resort is a gem. We will definitely be coming back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent!!

We arrived home from our week at Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Luxury resort (adult only) We were not disappointed 😄. The hotel is immaculate, well staffed with courteous, friendly employees. Reception book in was quick and easy, seamless. Daniel, reception supervisor, was wonderful to deal with, always making sure we were satisfied. Thank you, Daniel. We only wish the satellite television service would include some Canadian content, both English and French. PLEASE. Booking reservations with Jose at the public relations desk was very pleasant. Jose was eager to make our reservations according to our needs and schedule.... Jose is a GEM! The beach is a certain distance from the hotel Sian Ka'an. I will say the trolley services were quick and efficient, I probably think walking would be daunting in the heat of the day. Martha at the Sian Ka'an beach bar came frequently with fruit skewers, Mojitos or whatever beverage our hearts desired, and always with a big smile😁...lovely. The bar services at the pool were equally pleasant. Mariana and Julio provided amazing service, remembering our favorite beverages, and delivering to our lounge chairs beside the pool. We made such good connections with the beautiful Mexican staff, memories that will last.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great resort!

My husband and I spent the week of April 17-24 2018 at this resort. Right from the moment we checked in I really liked the way the front desk treated us. Check in was quick and efficient, the rooms were spacious and very clean. The food at this resort was amazing, and plentiful. The people were very pleasant and helpful if we wanted or needed anything. The lobby was very clean and bright. The pool areas were very clean and lots of lounge chairs. The only thing that was a bit of a draw back  [... read more]was the beach, it was very clean and lots of palapas but the water was not as clear as I would have liked it. I would definitely return to this resort and recommend it to anyone who would like a luxury resort to go to.

We had a great vacation staying at the Bahaii Principe Esmeralda. Great food, drink, service, entertainment - close to the pools and ocean. Highly recommend it - and would go back to this resort again. Cheers!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best resort ever

From the moment we entered the reception area we felt pampered. The staff, accommodation, surroundings, entertainment and restaurants were everything, and more, than expected. This is not our first Bahia, but certainly the best so far.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great adult only property

Food: buffet is great, lots choices and different features everyday. A la cart is not as good as other 5 stars in Cancun except Alux Beach: not big but water is shallow and sheltered from waves. Lots of activities like Zumba and yoga which is great. There are couple of fishes too if you like snorkeling. Service: great attentive staff. Overall we had a great time. Definitely great value for the price

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Disappointed

My husband and I have been travelling south for 15 years. This is the first time we have been so disappointed in the resort. We called our travel agent before going, as we had been told the beach was a mess with large piles of seaweed. He assured us that it was cleaned up. Apparently it has been a problem for some time as they had large man made barriers to try and keep the seaweed out. We could only swim in very shallow water. The drinks were poor quality, very difficult to find a good drink. I would never go back to this resort or recommend it to my friends.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort 7 days in paradise !

We had a great time ! The food , service , entertainment second to none ..The beach was amazing and clean . Favorite al la carts - Don Pablo,Mikado,and Ridizio You cant go wrong dinning at either of these ! Cant forget to thank DanielleS for booking and answering all our questions about this trip

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Awesome resort

Excellent vacation, beautiful resort, clean and well maintained. Only issue I had was the sand fleas on the beach and had allergic reactions to the bites but that is part of nature, I certainly did not allow it to ruin my vacation however advise folks that you need to bring Benadryl in the event of allergies and any other meds or extra suntan lotion as they are very expensive to buy here...for example two packages of halls were $28 US! Would definitely go back again

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort for all ages!

The resort was amazing. Great daytime shows along with evening shows. We had an excellent room with a great view. The only downfall was the resort was so big that you spent a lot of your time walking around to get to your destination. I personally wouldn't recommend the luxury side as the difference in price I didn't think was worth it. We stayed in the main grand bahia side. The difference is a more updated room and some different events but everyone travels along the whole resort so it doesn't [... read more] make that big of a difference.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beach of seaweed

The grounds were well kept the food was excellent, the beach was poor, there really was no swimming just wading up to your waist in warm water and there was so much seaweed, they raked and hauled seaweed all day long. They actually had loaders and backhoes on the beach hauling it away. The beach was short and really difficult to walk along.
