Sunscape Cove: Wonderful family vacation

The hotel offered excellent dinning choices and wonderful service. The hospitality was incredible and the list of activities were endless. Overall I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a family vacation that the whole family can enjoy

Secrets St James: Adults only resort

This resort was smaller than some of the others I've been to. Beach was the best in Montego Bay out of the four different resorts I've been to there. The room was lovely ,great location. Wonderful friendly staff,everywhere on resort. There was lots of dining options. However,my husband was disappointed as there was no dinner buffet I loved the outdoor entertainment stage. Great atmosphere

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing hotel - look after every need and polite

The food was excellent. The beach was beautiful. So were the rooms. They did a lot of little extras that we didn't expect. We have been there three times and would go again. Its our favorite place. The weather is always warm and sunny.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort

The ground of this resort was very well kept. The food was excellent lots of choices. I found that there was a lot of entertainment each night! The room was really nice and large and they were well kept! Overall I would highly recommend this resort

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Resort

Resort was clean and all staff were always friendly and helpful. Staff always made our kids special. Food was amazing. Steps away from the beach. Staff were prompt with all service requests - changing batteries in safe, extra towels and pillows etc.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Great vacation - great people, great location and great memories!

This was our first non all inclusive vacation and we had a fantastic experience. We were assigned an ocean front room complete with wooden verandah and fridge just steps away from the beach which contributed to our pleasant experience. TRANSFER to hotel from MoBay - uneventful, stopped for rest break and beer (overpriced!) CHECK-IN/OUT: Quick, efficient - the agent was very personable and welcoming ROOM: comfortable bed but not enough pillows, our safe was missing the digital mechanism b [... read more]ut that was quickly rectified, our air conditioner worked well however was leaking - this was not rectified during our stay. Bring your own toiletries as you will only have those tiny bars of soap. The cleaning staff did an amazing job every day to keep the room clean. GYM: the temperature is not conducive to working out, it is stuffy and hot, the equipment is average - did not see many people using the facility STAFF: Amazing, everyone from the ground keeper to the manager far exceeded our expectations, everyone was happy to help and answer all of our questions - I observed the staff throughout the week and they always went out of their way to make everyone feel special. The manager Ms.Grant is an elegant woman who is very professional and you can tell takes pride in her role, her staff and the property. FOOD: Breakfast is included in the package - (hard boiled egg, variety of cold cereals, bread to toast yourself, choice of pastry and a few pieces of fruit plus coffee, tea and juices (every day it seemed like they ran out of coffee - we always bring our own so did not affect us personally). You can also order a bigger breakfast from the menu for a reasonable cost. We had lunch twice at the hotel and it was yummy and very reasonably priced. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, from street and beach vendors to 5 star restaurants, from Chinese, Italian, yummy jerk chicken to fusion foods - we never had a bad meal. BEACH: It does not get better than this - clear water, powdery beach, warm water - it's perfect and the sunsets are spectacular. VENDORS; 2 great pattie vendors on the beach - offering beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie and pumpkin patties - regular or hot - the best!!! Also vendors with real fruits, other treats and merchandise. Did not encounter any issues or harassment from anyone - except for a lobster vendor on the beach - he is located to the right of Rooms, right before the sign (Wake and Bake!). You will note his lobsters in a cage in the ocean - we will try to rip you off and then intimidate you. He quoted us $20 for 3 lobsters and when we were ready to go, he said $60, we walked away and he followed us swearing and yelling all the way and threatening that he would make our vacation hell. STAY AWAY from him, he is a tall skinny man - do not give him your business. MUSIC: always a spot where you can get live entertainment or even jam with the locals. We will return!!

Jewel Paradise Cove: Paradise

We spent a wonderful week at Jewel Paradise Cove. We were here in 2012 when it was the Royal Decameron Fun Carribean. We loved it then so we knew with the upgrades it was a win win. The resort is small and that is something my husband and I look for in a resort. The food is fabulous. The staff are fabulous, the grounds are fabulous. Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Resort

Went to Jamaica for the first time and stayed at this resort. The resort is a little older but kept in great shape. The staff was very accommodating and I thought the food was great. We go to Cuba often so food isn't top priority to us but found the food here to be very comparable to food here at home and there were enough buffet choices. The buffet wasn't huge but you could always find something to eat. The beach was nice but not a beach that you can take a long stroll on as it's broken up into [... read more] sections. It was kept clean and they would have some service on the beach for drink orders which was great. Our room was standard and always clean. I loved the fact that everyone spoke English so easy to communicate. Didn't realize how much I would enjoy this as we are used to going places where their first language is Spanish. All in all had a fabulous vacation in Jamaica and we will definitely go back again.

Coco La Palm: Friendly

Great trip Great place to relax the beach is great and the over all service is good. Newer rooms are clean and comfortable. Management is very accommodating and friendly. We have stayed there many times and will be going back.

Sunscape Splash: very nice resort

Very nice resort small but it is what we liked. Everything was right there didnt have to walk far for anything. The food was very good and im a picky eater. Definately would reccomend this resort. Great resort for familys but there is also a pool for adults only which was nice

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Resort

First time in Jamaica for the group of 5 of us. we will all go back.. The resort was very clean, pubic washrooms very clean and stocked with lots of toilet paper, rooms very clean and up dated, food was very good threw out the resort. all staff was very friendly and helpful.. liked the layout of the resort... The night entertainment was ok.. we really like to sit on a patio near the water with live music and having a few drinks.. very nice being close to the airport.

Sunscape Splash: Great Resort!

I just came back from 7 amazing days at the Sunscape Splash. The hotel was clean. The staff was so friendly!! The food was really good, the only issue with the food was variety. Such a great location. Sunsets were unreal and snorkeling right off the resort.

Riu Montego Bay: Good Times

The Riu Montego Bay is a beautiful resort with a wide variety of delicious food and drinks as well as clean well maintained rooms and buildings. The beach is a bit weedy and murky not your typical Caribbean beach. The entertainment at night was good but not a whole lot going on around the pool. To me it didn't have the Jamaican vibe that we look forward to seeing when travelling to Jamaica.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic staff and food

If you are looking for fancy rooms or an opulent lobby this is not the place for you. The rooms and buildings are a little dated but more than sufficient and clean. If you are looking for a fantastic and interactive staff and delicious food, a la cart or buffet, this is definitely the place for you. It's a smaller resort which makes it easy to get anywhere on the resort in under 5 minutes. Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Holiday

Enjoyed our stay at this resort price was good and it was very clean grounds were kept up . Most of the staff were very friendly but some were not so nice unless you tipped .Food was good the only complaint I had was the first room they put us in had only one bed for two women . but they changed it the very next day . We were invited to a managers dinner because it was my second time there and it was a really nice night with dinner and prizes . Great Holiday

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing resort

Improve on the a le carte restaurant service and food and need better beach, man made and the other one full of weeds , aside all great . Amazing service and support . Rooms are cleaned too late - 4 pm ,

Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Awesome staff!!

This resort is very small and although it does need some work, the staff are excellent. If there is something you need all you have to do is ask. The resort is approximately in the middle of seven mile beach with plenty of shade for those with sensitive skin. The food is good and no issues with drinking water. Again, I can't say enough about the staff. This is my second visit to the resort and would definitely return. SeaGarden Beach Resort: the trip of a lifetime

Small hotel, every one there came in on Monday afternoon, so we were a group of French speaking Canadians and we spent the whole week with each other. the room was nice and clean, maid service perfect, the food was good, but variety could have been better. the guys who entertained us were so friendly. when I go back, I am booking the same hotel again. its like entering Cheers, and everyone knows your name.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great staff and accommodations!

We were in Unit 6. Our room was in good condition and our bed was very comfortable. no issue with the service or cleanliness. always had fresh towels and hot water. the grounds were well kept. a larger adult pool would have been preferable. The meals were good. The a la carte restaurants were excellent except for the Italian one - ran out of prime rib which was disappointing, the waiter was very apologetic, unfortunately it was our last night at hotel so did not have a chance to got back to try  [... read more]again. Entertainment was great, provided an insight into the Jamaican culture. Staff were friendly and hardworking.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Awesome

The resort was beautiful the grounds are meticulous and the little bungalows we found so quaint and charming. We were so amazed by all the birds and different plants in the garden my daughter got to pick a banana from the tree and get a coconut as well! We loved our stay here and will definitely return! The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious! The entertainment team go above and beyond to keep you busy and entertained the entire time!
