Jewel Paradise Cove: Beautiful resort!
a beautiful property, great restaurants, lots of activities, everything from cooking classes, jewelry making, goat races to water sports, yoga, fitness trail, and so much more. Something for everyone! We enjoyed the snorkelling and glass bottom boat trips, as well as the excursion to Konoko Falls. Wonderful staff!
Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Incredible Resort First Class!
The Hyatt Ziva is a wonderful resort. Incredibly helpful staff, great restaurants and first class facilities. Great pool. Beach is just okay and a bit rocky but everything else is great. It is worth the upgrade to the Club Lounge. Staff there are so helpful and kind. Housekeeping is professional and great. Thank you to our TripCentral Advisor, Lisa Shelley-Ansell for your superior customer service!
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Exceptional Time
We had an incredible time. The resort was large enough to offer many areas to enjoy but not so large that walking it was a chore. We highly recommend the beach front towards the left of the property (when facing the water). It is a semi-private oasis that had it's own bar and jerk chicken service. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to offer service and make us feel exceptionally welcome. I have traveled to many all inclusives and this was by far one of my favourites. There w [... read more]
Riu Reggae: RIU REGGAE EXCELLENT RESORT
the hotel is "boutique" and modern. It is not the regular RIU with arches , character pieces and grandeur! However we got used to the modern boutique décor, and found it pleasing. As usual the accommodations, food etc. were up to RIU standards and very good. The "specialty" restaurants were easy to attend, very little if any line ups. The beach was nice but not exceptional.Although you could walk past the RIU Palace, and use the RIU Montego bay facilities and beach. The hotel is 7 minutes from [... read more]
Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Third time and still amazing
Family of 4. Kids are 12 and 9. We absolutely love this place. We've returned 3 of the last 4 years as it's simply tough to beat. The vibe of the place is key. Fun for everyone, especially the kids and the kids in all of us. The staff are remarkable, food is great, and the small size and proximity to the beach are paramount. The water park doesn't hurt either. The rooms/grounds are a bit dated, but we spent very little time in our room as there is stuff to do all the time. They really need new [... read more]
Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: What a great time!!
We had such a great time at Jewel Runaway Bay in Jamaica. It was the perfect family vacation and everyone had a great time. We've been to a several resorts in the carribean and were blown away at just how amazing the staff were at Jewel Runaway Bay.
Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great for the price!
For the price bracket we paid, this was about as good as we could expect. Beach was very nice, rooms were average, sunsets were great, staff was amazing and the food was better than expected - especially the a-la-cart restaurants (which don't require reservations). In general the crowd was over 30 and the place cleared out around 1030pm (after the show) most nights, but if you wanted to go later the RIU resort down the street (with reciprocals) had a disco and livelier scene.
Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Exceptional, well managed resort
This was our third, however, not last visit to Jewel Runaway Bay. This smaller resort is more attractive to our family and travelling style. The beach is large, 90% of the restaurants have water views, the staff is incredible and the food is great with variety. This is a family resort. There are an outstanding number of activities for all ages or there are quiet places on the beach or close to your room where you can hide away with a good book. There is something for everyone. The rooms ar [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: We where very happy with our stay at the Grand Bahia Principe.
Very nice resort, clean & plenty of entertainment. The Grand Bahia side has more to offer than the Luxury side. Not worth spending the extra money. Good food. The employees are amazing. If you like long walks on the beach this one is beautiful but short lived, & about shoulder deep, very rocky. Has a private nude beach, great for snorkelling, lots of reefs.
Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: wow
we stayed at the older sister resort last year and loved it! we watched them build the new resort while we were there and decided to go there this march. after reading some of the reviews we were a little concerned but our experience was nothing like the negative reviews, we loved it! the pool is in the shade but only until 10 am full sun for the rest of the day, it wasn't cold but very refreshing! there was plenty of pool and beach chairs either in the sun or the shade. the shower doesn't le [... read more]
Melia Braco Village: Excellent resort
The entire facility has been completely re done. Exceptionally clean, all working personel were friendly, respective, and always went the extra mile to create a beautiful vacation. The place is like a small village with five restaurants and Coble stone walkways. THE FOOD IS BY FAR THE BEST SURPRISE. The quality was excellent as well as the constant entertainment through out the entire day and evening.
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Very nice resort
This is a beautiful resort. Everything was clean, the food was great the people are friendly. The beach area is small which is fine with me. Beautiful wedding destination, we saw probably 5 or 6 weddings in one week. I really liked that you didn't have to turn in your beach towel every day for a card. The resort lets you use all the beach towels you want. I also really like that the room key in on your wristband, no worries about loosing it. The third thing that impressed me was that you do not [... read more]
Rooms On The Beach: Very fair deal
Right in the middle of the action of Ocho Rios, Rooms is ideally located if you are interested in visiting the town and experiencing its culture and gastronomy. The stuff was kind and welcoming, the place was always clean, the beach was perfect. We had a wonderful vacation time. It was disappointing to find that our room was not "ocean view" as it was described when we booked it. We never complain to anybody about it, though (since we knew we would stay in the room at night only) They shoul [... read more]
Dreams Rose Hall: Perfect resort for family vacation
My husband and I traveled with our daughter, son in law and two granddaughters. Our experience from the time we arrived to the day we sadly left was excellent. The staff of this resort were friendly and very helpful. The food was 5 star. My husband and I experienced the dinner for two down by the water. What an experience! The pools, grounds and beach were meticulously maintained. We were so pleased with this resort that we have recommended it to our friends who are looking for a family [... read more]
Sunset at the Palms: Nice place
The people working at the resort were happy to help with any requests. The beach was cleaned up quickly compared with adjacent properties after a storm. Beach staff were great. Nice and private area with few disturbances.
Riu Reggae: Riu Reggae
We stayed at the Riu Reggae in Montego Bay. This is a new hotel as of Nov, 2016. The good: The food was excellent! The staff were so friendly and very accommodating The entertainment was good for the most part The beach was lovely The bad: --We had a garden view room that had probably the worst view anyone could imagine! It was overlooking a jungle basically with a pile of brush thrown all over the ground and I think building supplies from when it was constructed. I guess we could [... read more]
SeaGarden Beach Resort: Wonderful Resort
This was my second time 'home'.Everything about this resort is good. The grounds are well kept. Their private beach is clean and well maintained. It is a smaller resort which results you going as a stranger and leaving as part of a family. The staff are all friendly and engaging. Be an little bit older resort you may say that the rooms are a little tired looking, but I found the rooms spacious, bed comfortable and cleanliness was a priority. It has become like coming home.Food was excellent.
Sandals South Coast: Beautiful
We had a great vacation at Sandals South Coast. The weather was perfect even tho everyday I would check the weather on my phone it would say rain it never did! We were in the building that had been renovated which was beautiful and clean. It was a very quiet reasort. The sad thing was even tho the beach was stunning and the water was clear there was ALOT of seaweed so you could not walk out very far with out being in it. The food was good nothing totally amazing but always good. Breakfast was th [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort!
This Resort has everything a family on vacation needs! There are things however which could be improved: - room safe should be free of charge as it is almost everywhere else the case - Wifi should be free and hotelwide. This is basically standard these days. - cosmetics (shampoo/ shower gel) should be refilled on a regular basis
Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Nice Resort!
We really enjoyed our stay. Grounds are well kept, pools are nice, beach is very small but nice and not crowded. Food is overall delicious and service is awesome! Riviera Side of Resort could use some freshening up (in the rooms). A very relaxing vacation!
