Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Incredible

My wife and I had amazing trip, thanx to Nicole Kirk and Trip Central. Not sure where to start. The room, weather, workers, beach and food were incredible. Rooms were clean and always stocked, if not, I asked and they delivered. The food at all the restaurants was excellent, and so was the room service, very little waiting. The workers were always busy and friendly. The beach and snorkeling were awesome. Water was a bit cloudy a couple of days, so I couldn't really snorkel, but swam on those da [... read more]ys. Spent many hours snorkeling on clear days, a bit rocky to get in, so I just kinda swam in. Tons of fish around the "Shark" to feed. Saw, a small sting ray, star fish, puffer fish and a Moray Eel, which lunged at me. Went on Zeus Snorkeling, highly recommended. Spent a lot of time in water exploring the reefs and observing huge sting rays, at the end of the excursion. Minor complaint's, noise from other rooms, slippery area around pool. I believe the noise issue is being addressed, by replacing all the doors. Those minor issue did not dissuade us at all, giving it a Five Star Rating. Special shout out to Angel at the Beach Bar and Susan, the Hostess. Also like to thank Francisco, who lives nearby who helped "guide" my wife and I, we hope to return soon, to Cozumel.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Dream sands Cancun resort and spa

Staff was amazing, accommodating and very friendly. Food was good at most a la carte restaurants, buffet and lunch restaurant could be better. More variety and more local fresh produce! Flight was delayed and didn’t get to hotel until the day after we were suppose to. Rooms were clean, bed could have been more comfortable (other rooms had softer beds). Beach was FANTASTIC! JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Amazing pools

The pools and grounds at this resort are very nice, it’s set up so it never feels crowded. The rooms needs some revamping, did not like the set up. The food we thought was very good. But the pools are definitely the heart of this resort. The staff also are very helpful.

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Second time at dreams Cozumel this year

We returned to Dreams in April after a great experience in January. The resort setting is excellent and the architecture and finishes are first class by Mexican standards. Food selection and quality both excellent especially in Olio and Annato. Service much improved form January in all venues. We plan to return to Dreams Cozumel 2 or 3 times in fall/winter 2023/2024.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Dreams but not dreams

Grounds nice, landscaping could be better, rooms are clean, beds comfortable, service good. Hotel inside is very poor; in the hallway is only 5-7 tables to sit; if it rains guests stay in their rooms. Early flight no coffee, no food provided; not organized at all. Line ups for food, they wait for guest to tell how many pieces of chicken of fish in the mean time people pile up waiting in long lines. Very disappointing with the choice this time, never again.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Happy Times

THIS PLACE HAS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. WITH GREAT SERVICES, WITH GOOD GRUB. HAS FANTASTIC OUTTINGS AND WITH SOCIAL PERSONEL. GREAT PLACE TO STAY. THAT IS VERY SOCIAL AND A TON TO DO. HIGH CLENLINESS. WITH EXCELLENT DAILY CLEANING. FRIDGE IS ALWAYS FULL!

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Definitely not a 4 or 4.5 star resort

The description and reviews of this hotel are varied, based on subjective opinions. When we arrived, we were Preferred guests, we were to taken to the Preferred lounge and checked in. We were not informed of the resort amenities, restaurant locations, Preferred beach area etc. The food was probably the worst I have ever had at any all-inclusive resort in Mexico. We ate at the buffet for breakfast a few times, variety varied depending on what day you went, meaning if you are lucky there may be fr [... read more]esh crepes made and waffles and the next day...nothing. Forget about getting any bacon after 9:00, they just put out more deep fried potato hashbrowns. I have always enjoyed the baked goods in Mexico, everyday they were dry and hard. Dinners were even worse, we tried all of the ala carte restaurants, food very inconsistent, we were only able to finish one meal which was at El Patio. We went back the next night and the prawns were mushy, the steak was so tough you could not cut it. Drinks are very very watered down no matter where you went on the resort. The only place we actually had a decent drink was in the Preferred lounge made by Juan. We had to move rooms 3 times, first room was ocean view with balcony. Toilet would not flush, next night room was just okay, bathroom very very small. We finally had to pay for an upgrade to a Junior suite, which was okay except the toilet leaked of raw sewage. Turn down service was hit and miss. Room service food, stay away from. The beach itself is nice. Very disappointed with the whole experience. What I find very disappointing is the fact that we specifically asked the Trip Advisor agent, Victoria Guest for a review of the property. She gave it rave reviews. We in fact called her from the resort on our first day, she just brushed us off and told us to find a Sunwing Agent. There were none on the property the whole week we were there!!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Enjoyable time

Dreams Royal Beach is a good resort all around, with a well kept grounds and nice layout, most beautiful at night. Resort was at capacity, but it never felt crowded. Our room was regular, but was big enough and everything was working well, with a daily stock of beer and drinks. Checking in was quick, as well as the checking out. Service at buffet was always good and we never had to wait for being seated. Food had a good selection and the space was clean and pleasant. Service at bars was also qui [... read more]ck and with a smile. Entertainment was a bit of a let down, but being a non adults only resort it may be understood. COVID times may be behind us, but the sanitizer stations are present everywhere for peace of mind. Beach is wide and has plenty of lounge chairs and never had to fight for getting one at any time. Towels were not in shortage or worn out. Seaweed is a constant problem they fight by raking it with a tractor every couple of hours or so.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Lovely vacation for all the family!

Great beach with clear water and little to no algae. Enjoyed the kayaking. A variety of pools that were well suited for young children and not too busy. Food was varied and good. We loved the easy accessibility to the restaurants with no limits or reservations needed. Lots of positive attention for the three little ones. Grounds and rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The one negative was the lack of sufficient shade on the beach. Also, the recommendation I would make is to advertise the Kids' Club and their activities, possibly as you do the adult activities. I informed a few people I met about it after they complained there was nothing for the kids.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Good Time Stay

We visited with the family including children for one week during March Break 2023 and we all really had a comfortable good time stay. The Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is very good value for a superior hotel resort in Punta Cana. The Onyx has 3 main pool areas being the waterpark, adult pool (Preferred Club) and general main pool. All were nice, modern and clean. The grounds were also clean, well kept and maintained. The beach was nice, and the waves were constant and great for boogie boar [... read more]ding. The boards are provided at the beach hut. We had no washed-up seaweed issues during our stay. The food was good enough to gain weight over our stay. Our kids are very fussy eaters, and they had no problem finding food they liked. There are 6 à la carte dining restaurants and all are 1st come 1st serve except for the Spice Pan – Asian restaurant. At the Spice you will need to make a reservation and time slots fill up fast. Our favourite was the Bluewater Grill and the Spice. At the bottom of the list was the Tamarindo Mexican Restaurant. If you have a gourmet palate, then try a different country. We had no stomach issues during our stay and after returning home. Don't drink the tap water anywhere in Punta Cana. The drinks were good especially at the main bars with a good assortment of top shelf liquors. We had joining rooms overlooking the waterpark pool and they were modern, clean and very comfortable. The room even had a sitting area and a balcony jacuzzi. The view was nothing special. The many palm trees obstructed our pool view. I believe the views at the main pool area appear to be marginally better. As usual we spent minimal time in the rooms, just enough to sleep, groom and dress. Entertainment was typically resort style and was fun and OK. The kids enjoyed it. The staff was amazing and excellent. They were genuinely courteous, helpful, engaging and very happy. That alone is a difference maker. Dreams Breathless resort next door is generally the same as the Onyx but is an adult only resort. Restaurants, bars and services are open to Onyx guests over 18 years of age. The only single issue we had was the noise from the room above us for a few nights. The ruckus was from large groups of chaperoned graduating high school students staying during March Break. Once we complained, the hotel managers, concierge services (Miguel) and security resolved the issue promptly and effectively. I would suggest to the resort that for future occasions student rooms should be located directly above or beside the parent’s or chaperon’s rooms. The matter it was nuisance, especially since we had young impressionable kids with us but we are understanding and tolerant people and we didn’t let the incident ruin our vacation. The Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa is excellent, well located and has everything you would want in a superior resort. Without a doubt we would recommend the resort to friends and family.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Fantastic Family Fun

So much to do…for all 10 of us ranging in age from 6-80 years old! The hotel was spotless and the gardens were continually being maintained.The pools were amazing as was the water park. For the most part the restaurants were great. The only disappointment was the Mexican Restaurant where the food was slow to come, two meals never came and one family had to leave as the kids were tired and needed feeding. They were well maintained with an excellent supply of towels.

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Everything was amazing, except one thing:

We were totally happy and impressed whether all aspects of the resort! Food, rooms, pools, grounds, staff were all great. Our only complaint was that the buffet and a-la-cartes all opened at 6 or 6:30, which was way too late for our young children to be having dinner after a fun day in the sun. There was a snack bar open at the beach, but usually we ate lunch there and it was further away.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Nice Resort But...

This is a purposefully designed, nice size, but rather an old resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however we got an impression that there was not enough personnel (i.e. the room's mini bar was refilled sporadically, constant line-ups to the only bar by the pool area). The other problem was a bad quality audio system playing loud and squeaky music in crowded pool area. Our major disappointment was food; both the quality and the restaurants. Breakfast menu was very limited and offere [... read more]d food of poor quality. Although there are four restaurants there, the best one was opened only sporadically. This resort is advertised for its beach but the water is murky and the low tide renders it practically un-swimmable and unsafe with plenty of sharp rocks exposed. Another serious issue was the package misleading advertising. The description did not mentioned an almost three hours transfer from the remote Rio Hato airport. A good thing is that the resort is located only a few kilometers from Panama City. This allows for visiting the city and the Panama Canal.

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

Dreams resorts never fail. It is everything we had hoped for. With it being a brand new resort there are still a few kinks they need to work out (house keeping wasn’t there as much as we expected, they need more towel service areas, sports bar open earlier or TV’s in the lounge area to watch sports) but overall nothing much to complain about.

Dreams Huatulco: Never a disappointment!

I can’t speak highly enough about this resort! Our third visit and each time has been exceptional! The staff were all soooo helpful, friendly and pleasant! Always clean and inviting, the food was always terrific and plentiful! The weather and beach are always spectacular!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Needs some improvements!

Great service in most areas. Beach was not always cleaned, water very rough. Restaurants need some attention, did not meet a 5 star rating in our opinion. Food was not always hot and very repetitive. Make sure you book a room in the new section as section 5000 rooms are very musty and damp.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: A Wonderful But Rocky Resort,

Everything at this little paradise was excellent. I dont like huge complexes and this was just perfect, updated but still holds the old charm with a hint of luxury. The food, the service, the night show, the animators. The Best! It does get crowded on the beach for finding chairs but the most inconvenience were the rocks in the water. Even with water shoes you have to brace in order not to fall. We saw many who did and also one who got injured. Dreams Huatulco: Fair

The hotel needs some serious updating. Rooms, grounds were not as nice as 4 years ago. Tiles need desperate replacing . The food as we remember 4 years ago was plentiful with a lot of selection. This time not a good selection most times. The food was very bland at the Asian restaurant. Our favourite was the Italian which is where we ate most dinners. The main restaurant we had to wait at the buffet behind glass to be served which took forever, therefore we never attempted to eat there again.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Terrific for families with young children

Dreams is a superb resort for families with young children below the teen level with its multiple shallow pools for kids to frolic in safely. The accommodations for both the grandparents..us and our three families were great.

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Would expect better for a 4-star

The cleanliness wasn’t great. Unless you believe putting scented spray is cleaning. We had to call numerous times the front desk to get towels or toilet paper and it took several hours or days each time. The beach is not for swimming: rocks and weeds. The tv doesn’t have any channel working due to weak wifi. The food was okay, but even though it says they accommodate gluten allergies, the staff doesn’t have a clue what it means (milk? Sugar?) and there are not real options that are safe. T [... read more]hey won’t provide extra chairs for the beach and they are all taken at 7:00 am. Also left with traveller’s diarrhea. Not what I expected for the price.
