Sandals Emerald Bay: A terrific vacation.

Lovely location, only a few minutes from the airport but not on a flight path. Terrific golf course. Just the right size so you don't feel overcrowded. Good food and friendly staff. Huge room, very nice but could use some cosmetic updating. Our best trip ever with Kim Hartlen's Sandals Group. She made everything extra special and trouble free!! Thank you Kim.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Breathtaking Resort with golf course

With a short drive from the airport, this beautiful resort has very warm friendly staff members. The white sandy beach is second to none & offers the long walks you may desire. The golf course, which is challenging, has many ocean views which are simply picturesque. We were able to walk out onto the beach from our room. It was a very spacious suite located by the quiet pool. The food was very good, but would recommend a couple more specailty restaurants similar to other Sandals resorts. Sandals Grande Antigua: Fantastic

Beautiful Resort. Service was spectacular, very nice and friendly staff. Food was excellent! Only meal we didn't like was at the Drunken Duck. Room was clean with well stocked bar. Maybe the only negative was the bed. Not the most comfortable I have slept on.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great for couples

Great service, Staff are friendly and they always attend to your needs without any expectation on tip, some even refuse tip. Good selection of alcohol at bar, from remy Martin to Appleton. Food is great, a lot of a la carte options available. Pools could have been cleaner, however the beach is great for Ochi Rios. Quite and not too many people at the property. Most guests, if not all, are couples. Don't expect too much during the night past 11 PM.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Amazing Week Away

Staff, service, rooms and amenities were fantastic. Food was wonderful, each restaurant had a unique atmosphere and experience to offer. Grounds were stunning. People were genuinely friendly and happy to help you. Golf course was beyond any we have previously played on. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: AMAZING RESORT! AMAZING HONEYMOON!!

We just came back from our honeymoon at Sandals Ochi Resort. We had the best time on and off the resort. The food was great and always something available. The staff are really easy ensure you have the best of time to just enjoy and relax. We loved how big the resort and all it's dining options. Well worth it's stars! We would HIGHLY recommend this resort to any couple, young or old.... it's just a GREAT place to spend a great vacation. You WILL not regret it.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great Service Good Food Average Beach

Chilled Jamaican feel with intimate couples atmosphere combined with exemplary service and food with very clean and comfortable surroundings made this a really relaxing trip. More restaurants to choose from than we could find time to dine and same goes for the pools. The weather was awesome for August travel. Beaches were quite average however. Overall would go back for the great friendly service.

Sandals Grenada: Amazing!

The resort was fantastic! The people were friendly and accommodating and the food was amazinf!! Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Could not have asked for a better honeymoon. Would love to table to other counties that have sandals resorts

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Not worth the extra $2000.00

Hotel was grand, staff fine, grounds wonderful, all the type? not worth it! Disappointing to say the least about the "premium alcohol", no 24 hr bar at ALL! They wouldn't open the bar at the "private beach" until 11:01 am, god forbid 20 people waiting, and staff was slow as heck to accommodate there! ran out of glasses at the bar many times after being opened 20 minutes. Food OK, not fantastic, although breakfast was wonderful, yes, lunch ok, NO good beef, but fruit and vegetables always great.  [... read more]Manager extremely nice, wife from our town in Bolton, nice man, most staff very nice and tried to please, but after reviewing prices, will not go again because it was over-hyped and the RIU was better. Sandals Royal Bahamian: Nice Resort

Resort and grounds were nice. Food was good. We had butler service but it was not as good as some of the other Sandals we had stayed at. We were expected to carry our own cooler and drinks back and forth every day. Butlers at other resorts did this for you every day. We didn't see the point of the butler if we were doing that ourselves every day. Also they were overbooked for our beachfront room top tier category. We had a noisy parking lot view the first night of 4. Very disappointing.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Outstanding Experience from Beginning to End

I have never been to a sandals resort and I will admit that I really didn't know what to expect. With that said, my trip exceeded my expectations in every category. Not only was the resort lovely, pristine and well appointed, the food and personnel at the resort were absolutely 5 stars. The resort and rooms were pristine and the facilities were always clean and well kept. The room was beautiful and well appointed and the housekeeping staff kept the rooms cleaned and ready for our return each da [... read more]y. The beaches, while small, were perfect and well maintained. I would note that we never had a problem getting a chair or umbrella at the beach or pools and towels were plentiful. The food at sandals was exemplary. 9 restaurants and all of them were delicious. I have never experienced such delicious food at an all inclusive. Sports and scuba were included and we took advantage of both. All activities were led by amazing staff who ensured our safety every time. All in all, an exemplary trip. We have already booked for a second trip back.

Sandals Royal Plantation: Best Vacation Ever

The Sandals Royal Plantation was the perfect fit of service, food, and facility. With only 74 rooms this is a couple paradise. The world class staff was at least 2 to 1 quest ratio and with the butler service everything you would want was taken care of. Being a smaller resort they only had 3 restaurants however this allowed the food and beverage team to go above and beyond and we experienced some of the best food we have ever had on vacation. If you are looking for a couples retreat that allows you to actually just sit on the beach and be pampered then Sandals Royal Plantation is your next vacation.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Amazing

It was the greatest experience for my wife and I. Our agent Brenda Melo was truly a wonderful person . The sandals resort was incredible food , room and services . Sandals truly knows how to keep their guest happy and the staff were just to polite and respectful. AAA++++

Sandals Grenada: Honeymoon

Gorgeous resort! Food was awesome so many restaurants 10 and a hot dog stand! The room was the millionaire suite and let me tell you it's top notch ! Everything is within walking distance from each other and all the water sports included are sweet! This is a true 6 star resort ☺ 10/10 can't wait to go back. Weather was sunny and 37 degrees everyday for the first week of June. Did I mention the ride from the airport is less then 5 minutes.

Sandals Montego Bay: Perfect size for quick getaway

Great resort. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great beach. Lots to do or plenty of places to relax. Sandals never disappoints. Close to the airport which was just what we needed for a quick getaway!!!

A dream come true!! The workers are so helpful and friendly! Felt totally relaxed while there! Food was amazing! Back again next year but will stay longer. Rooms were very clean and the beach was well taken care of.

Sandals South Coast: awesome resort! !

The resort was beautiful!!! It was very clean. The staff were awesome especially Clayton in water sports he was very helpful and friendly also Vicente the chef he will make anything you ask for. We really enjoyed the song the staff sang to us when leaving. Hopefully we can go back next year! Lori & Moe

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Fabulous Resourt - highly recommended

The staff were wonderfully friendly and the service that they provided was refreshing. The food was always very good, fresh and lots of variety. The accommodations were very clean and the location can't be beat!

Sandals Montego Bay: Great resort

Grounds were clean and beautifully manicured. The service was second to none! I would definitely return to this resort! The reason I didn't give it 5 star was the room was a bit outdated, but it was very clean, and I had a spa pedicure and was shocked that they used previously used tools on my feet. I thought that was pretty diagusting. The technician was wonderful and did a great job but I was very put off by her rummaging through a makeup bag to find the "least used" emery board to file my nai [... read more]ls with. So, I wouldn't recommend a pedicure!

We recently returned from a 2 week vacation at Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma. A nice vacation, there were many excellent things about the resort but also there are some things that could definitely be improved upon. We have rated this resort a 4, but really would have given it a 3.5 if possible. This is our 6th trip to Sandals (all different resorts) and this one is just average, definitely not at the top of the list. First the good things: Arrival – the airport is very small, which is great – you are out of the airport within 20 minutes of landing where you are met just outside the doors by Sandals staff, and then taken by taxi to the resort – only about a 10 minute drive. The beach – it is fabulous, probably the nicest beach we have seen – with great sand and beautiful turquoise water. Also we saw some “angel fish” right near shore, and if you were near them, they would follow you along in the water – really cool. The golf course is very nice – the views from the back nine, right along the ocean are amazing – we played in the Thursday afternoon golf scramble and had lots of fun, but even if you don’t play at all, make sure you walk the back nine. Sunrise – do not miss the sunrise – what a sight, the sun comes up right over the water. Excursions – we did the Ocean Safari (swimming with the pigs) tour, it was one of the best excursions we have ever done – Justin and his crew of 1 were great, very knowledgeable and his boat was very nice. The swimming with the pigs was fun as well as seeing and feeding the iguanas on another island. He also took us to a few other small islands to show us different things and let us roam the beautiful little beaches on each of them. The reading road trip is always a highlight for us, where you can go to one of the schools and help out the children for an hour. This time the trip was to a primary school where we read to the grade primary to 3s and then they read to us. This trip is not really well known by the guests but definitely an enriching experience. Take school supplies with you if possible, you can find a list of items needed at “Pack for a Purpose” on the internet. Entertainment – we really enjoyed the nightly entertainment – the sax player is amazing, the Junkanoo party is lots of fun. Heston made the piano bar a great way for us to end the evenings – he is not only a good piano player but an amazing entertainer – with the right crowd the piano bar is lots of fun. The entertainment crew is great too, with many different games organized for people who want to participate in them. Leslie and Kristell were especially good on the entertainment crew. Massage – we had a couples massage and it was definitely worth it – very professional and well done. The grounds are well kept and nice, but not spectacular. Now for things that could be improved: Restaurants – We had looked at the restaurants menus before we left and decided to eat at Bahama bay the first night. However when we went into this restaurant the first night (Sunday) we discovered that it was buffet that night and in asking found out that it was buffet every Sunday night. We next decided to go there on Thurs evening and again found a buffet evening meal (which was not very good), in asking the staff about it they seemed surprised that it was a buffet as well. With reservations at other restaurants as well as the Junkanoo party and returning guest dinner, we didn’t get back to Bahama Bay in the evening until the following Thurs – to find another evening buffet even though their a la carte menu was displayed in the case outside the front door. We left this time to go to Barefoot where we had a nice meal. We checked over the restaurant schedules and found that no where did it say there were buffets in the evening at Bahama Bay. We do not go to Sandals for evening buffet meals and believe that a resort with the high reputation of Sandals should not have any evening buffets – but if they do make sure it is well “advertised”. The other meals were good to very good on the whole – we had very good meals at the French and Italian restaurants as well as Barefoot, but also had just average meals at them as well. Overall food was not as good as the other Sandals we had been to. Housekeeping – some days good and others not so good when we were there – our room needed a better cleaning from the last guests staying in the room, as there was an empty coffee cup and garbage under the bureau and bed. We had to call 4 different times to get towels, soap, or something. Each time they were promptly delivered, but really we should not be out of bath towels, washcloths, or soap and have to call for more – especially since housekeeping had been in for the day. Allergies -- some of the staff at the restaurants were very good about allergies (kiwi for us), and others didn’t seem to understand the seriousness of an anaphylactic allergy. We have since heard to make sure that you talk to Dwayne if you have allergies – unfortunately we didn’t know that when we arrived. Staff – The staff were friendly and we met some outstanding staff members at this resort, but also many who seemed to be just going through the motions and definitely could use more training. Overall we had a great vacation at a nice resort but it was not up to all of the standards of some of the other Sandals resorts we have visited. There were some standouts among the staff -- Leslie and Kristell in entertainment, Heston at the piano bar, Dia, Lashan, and Rose at the Bahama Bay restaurant, Brittany at the Barefoot restaurant, the personal trainer in the gym. definitely could use more training.
