Secrets The Vine Cancun: Always Amazing

This was our 5th stay at Secrets the Vine we return because of the amazing experience. You are greeted with a warm welcome and glass of bubbly when you arrive . The linear fireplace in the lobby is very inviting even in Mexico. The lobby is nicely appointed, welcoming and cozy. The rooms are nicely appointed functional, comfortable beds and a balcony to enjoy views of the ocean, sunrise and sunset. The staff in all area's are courteous, professional and caring they really do make it a great experience. We all have our favourites when it comes to food we find all the restaurants very good both food and service. Food choices are good we stayed 9 days and enjoyed dinning the entire stay. Room service menu's are also good should you choose that experience. There are three pools to sit around each has it's own feel and the beach is great too. Entertainment is quite enjoyable, the activity people are good. The resort is well maintained, very clean with great ambiance. There are many beautiful resorts to choose from in Cancun we choose to return to Secrets the Vine because of the experience, we have never been disappointed. It's also great to see the same staff with each return visit. Would recommend a stay at Secrets the Vine if you want to pamper yourself, we look forward to our next!

Secrets Royal Beach: Disappointed

Major construction to an addition of the resort - woke up to power saws/jackhammers/machinery every morning. Both got food poisoning at the Oceana restaurant our second night. Great staff though. Excellent room service/maid service.

Secrets St James: Excellent Resort With A few Shortcomings

We enjoyed a stay of 13 days at Secrets St. James. Our first week was in a Preferred Club Room while the second was in a Garden View although it too had a view if the sea. Obviously the Prefered room had a few extras and seemed to be a little better maintained. The grounds of the resort were beautiful and well maintained and the food was excellent. We felt, however, that the beach was rather narrow and you couldn't really swim in the sea because the water was never more than about four fee [... read more]t deep. While the restaurants were very good, it would have been nice if the buffet was also available for dinner. The buffet was great for breakfast.The jerk chicken on the beach was also excellent. Unfortunately the Sea Grill restaurant was closed.

Secrets St James: Outstanding resort, staff and overall experience!

Everything and everyone we experienced at the hotel was excellent. Very clean environment and exceptionally & helpful friendly staff. Comfy pool/beach loungers...NO PLASTIC...that's how you can tell your at a 5 Star resort. Room service was great! The premium booze was always plentiful and the beer cold. No soliciting on the resort was a big plus too! Big bonus that the resort is less than 15 minutes from the airport...it really makes a difference after being on a plane for 4 Plus hours. On a se [... read more]lfish note...as I'm an occasional cigar smoker...I wasn't big on the designated smoking areas. I believe they could loosen up on that rule. However most seemed to smoke where they wanted for the most part keeping in mind their respect for non smokers.

Secrets St James: Secrets... 2nd to none

Amazing resort!! Not overly crowded, food was outstanding at all restaurants, everything was easily accessible with only a short walk to the beach. Infinity Pools were outstanding with a wonderful view of the ocean!! Highly recommend you check it out!!

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort

This resort absolutely lived up to the reviews...it was clean....the service was awesome....the drinks were yummy and fun...room service excellent....rooms very nice (showers2 could use an upgrade). There was construction going on but we never really noticed it. Only disappointments: no dinner buffet but u could go to Dreams for that and we went for massages and they were terrible : ( ... definitely recommend this resort.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: beautiful resort

This is our first time in Cancun, We had a wonderful time at secret the Vine. The staff overall was friendly, when we arrived at hotel to check in, they try to sell us preferred club membership, and bring us to different floors to see the rooms, charge $100/day extra, we denied this offer, in the end we didn't get any upgrade for our 30 years anniversary, we checked in on 20th floor a room, 5 minuses later, front desk called to move us to 11th floor, saying there was a mistake, and this room w [... read more]as booked by other guest. Overall, the service and the food was excellent. I will recommend to my friend.

Secrets Royal Beach: Very nice resort

We enjoyed Secrets very much, however, we were quite disappointed that we were informed after booking and payment that half the resort was closed for construction. We would have loved to wander and use the other pools, restaurants and facilities. We could also hear construction from our unit. The room was very spacious, clean and new. The staff was top knotch! The entertainment was the best I had seen in any resort. The food was excellenté! Great pool and Beach.

Secrets St James: Excellent Resort

Excellent grounds and gardens. Dining very good but needs diary free options. Very well appointed rooms. The bedside tablets were helpful. Housekeeping very good. Beach and pools are well tended with good lounge chairs.

Secrets Huatulco: Awesome Resort

The views from this hotel are fantastic and pretty breathtaking. Once you register you have to walk thru the SkyView bar which is open air to get to the elevators. This is where you see the view as it is on the top floor. All rooms face the ocean on different levels. The food was great. Beach was awesome although you need water shoes because the sand is sooo hot!! The water was good not too wavy. The people were all super polite and went out of their way to make your stay great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we plan to go back. Super safe little town as well.

Secrets St James: Amazing Resort and Beach!

Everything about secrets st.james was amazing and incredible. My wife and I had the prefect getaway for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. From the oceanfront 5th floor view, the clear, warm ocean, the fun and relaxing pool with the best drinks, the jerk chicken cart OMG! And the service of the events team, housekeeping team and f&b team was all 5 star! Secrets is our brand of choice and we will be back next year! Thank you for making our trip a memorable one!

Secrets Huatulco: Great vacation resort

First off, Huatulco is very laid back compared to Cancun, PV, etc. Overall this resort was excellent. The facility itself was very clean and good condition. Workers were very polite and helpful. Room was great and the service, like cleaning, restocking was done daily without question. There are 5-6 ala carte restaurants so lots of variety. We had good dining experience in all, well except the Oceanic. Must have been a bad chef day, we finally left and didn't even finish our meal. Never ate at the buffet in the evening, but every night they had a different theme, moved outdoors, etc. Pool area was excellent, clean, neat, and decent bar service. Beach area is hard to beat, lots of covered chairs, sand sand and more sand. No other resorts in site, had the whole bay to ourselves. Nightlife is slow on the resort. A few shows, or a little band, but it was hit/miss if you liked the music. Also don't bother with the "preferred club", definitely not worth the extra $$. The lounge was a tiny room with a couch, snacks that sat out all day long. The buffet was way better than the ala carte breakfast. The couple misc things missing was no big deal, overall very good, and would have no problem returning.

Secrets Royal Beach: Great week at Secrets Cap Cana

This resort was 5 star all the way. From the amazing service to the fantastic food to the clean gorgeous rooms. We had a great week. It's the only resort that I have ever been to that I would say I would 100% go back to.

Secrets St James: Perfect place for Class Reunion

People make the place and a place without friendly dedicated and helpful staff is just a place. The Staff were simply wonderful from bellmen, to cleaning staff to bar and restaurant staff and concierge. Entertainment was excellent, food was good to great. The two golf courses, Cinnamon Hills and White Witch, were delightful. The views at White Witch incredible and the sand traps plentiful. A great getaway for celebrating 40+ years since graduation. Good food nice pool and beach Friendly staff Clean and well maintained Lots of variety of restaurants and flavours Entertainment every evening outside by the water was great My husband felt it was too loud

Secrets Huatulco: Our favorite resort in Hualtulco!

The food was great .... we ate breakfast at the buffet and lunch at Castaways mostly but also loved the French restaurant. The staff are friendly and hardworking. The hotel and pools are clean and inviting. We will come again...and again...and again!

Secrets Huatulco: Secrets always gives value..

Service,food and drinks are top notch. Not a bad room on the resort as they all have ocean views and you can hear the waves from any room. It is hot here though, peak temps between 12-3 beg the local tradition of a siesta. Waves on beach out front can be rough, go to the left side. Priced against other resorts, I add value for no towel card, unlimited ala cartes with no reservation, brand name alcohol, no wristband, and great entertainment staff. Always plenty of wildlife to see, just be a littl [... read more]e careful. Make sure you grab a cab downtown and try a little local cooking when your there as well!

Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun: Fantastic Holiday

Food was superior, beach amazingly calm with powder sand, service excellent with concierge available for each building. Highlight of this hotel was the entertainment and things on site to do during the day and superior nighttime shows.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Doable.

I stayed at this resort for five nights. I selected it because it was indicated as a five star resort. The staff was great the resort was clean but it wasn’t a five star. Also, it’s really not for solo travellers.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Grear Resort

The resort was beautiful the only downfall for us was all of the stairs. It seemed like all we did was climb stairs! The food was great and the staff could not do enough for us. We had a couples massage and used the hydratherapy and it was so relaxing!
