Riu Palace Baja California: Very good new resort.

This is a beautiful resort with staff that could not have been better. The attention to our needs and the overall service of ALL of the staff, at the front desk, room service, restaurant staff, pool attendants,bar staff, and particularly management staff, was more than we expected. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay at this Riu Resort. The food in the Buffet and the five specialty restaurants was excellent.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: A bit disappointed!

Don't get me wrong, This is a great place to go. For us, we have been to several secrets and this one did not hit all the marks. They did hit several but the ones left an impression. The grounds are amazing as well as the views, the food for the most part was excellent, except room service that took 2 hours and was too cold to eat. The maid service was terrible and the service at the restaurants was mostly slow and boring. If you don't like load and dirty pools, make sure you get preferred club as that pool is classy not trashy!

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful location

The resort itself is beautiful. Great location if touring the town and nightlife is for you. The rooms were spacious. Few cons to this trip: the service wasn’t great at the restaurants and neither was the food. Very small portions so ordering multiple courses is recommended. The rooms didn’t have many plug ins, and our fridge was slow at being replenished 2/4 days, especially for the water. Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Resort was good at best

I found the layout to be very odd for an All Inclusive resort in Cabo. I have stayed at two other properties in Cabo and this was my least favorite. The service was excellent however, the food moderate at best with very small portions, but the thing that surprised me was the small pool and no swim up bar. The "fun" pool and buffet were quite a distance to get to, especially after a long day in the sun! Riu Santa Fe: Great resort and great location

This resort was absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained and all staff was super friendly. Special shoutout to the entertainment team who does such an amazing job every single day. I would definitely go back and would 100% recommend.

Riu Palace Baja California: Beautiful property!

Overall this hotel was great. The rooms, pools, amenities, view were amazing. The only negative thing I can say was that the food & service at the specialty restaurants needs to improve. Being a new property, I expect this to improve over time. Adult only was great and if you wanted to party... head next door to the Riu Sante Fe.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Great Location!

the hotel is located right on the Marina in downtown Cabo San Lucas with some rooms having a marina view, and some with an ocean view. It has one of the few swim-able beaches in Cabo, and is close to all the action. It's kind of a 'party' atmosphere with the rooftop patio and pool, DJ playing every night, and unlimited drinks... which really wasn't what WE were after, but looked like people were having fun. The location however, is hard to beat.

The Hotel was very nice with fantastic pool/views. Many of the staff didn’t speak/understand English very well. The “Specialty Restaurants” were not very good, except for Japanese which was good. The Buffet was not too bad, however it gets “old” pretty quick. By far the best meals we had were off the resort. As it’s a new Hotel (4-5 months) I would expect it will improve over next year? We had a great time nice to have the ocean on one side and the marina on the other . Everything you want on a holistic. The staff was amazing always so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and always clean .

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Love and miss this place !

Everyone in our family of five loves this resort. The place was super clean and comfortable. 2 pools which was great for the kids and an adult pool .beach was beautiful with Rock formations at each end and quiet . Staff was friendly and helpful ! Food overall was good especially breakfasts .it was nice to also just have lunch by the pool and drinks! Loved the size of the resort, not too busy, always a beach chair . Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful Resort

The hotel was beautiful. The resort was quite large so there was a fair amount of walking. The grounds were very well kept. The pools were very nice but looked a bit dirty at times, I think because they were always full of people. We were in building #7 with Oceanview, and it was fairly noisy with alot of partying going on. This was our 1`st time at a larger resort and would prefer smaller resorts. Riu Palace Baja California: Modern Resort

The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Tips are expected. The buffet food had good selection with chefs available cooking non-stop. The food at the buffet is the same every day except for one station. There’s no nice way of saying this but; The restaurant selections were minimal and the food was terrible. The suite was nice and clean. We had to call for water and coffee separately to be refilled by different service staff as housekeeping does not automatically do that when they  [... read more]clean your room. That was very time consuming and took away from our time enjoying Los Cabos. We hardly slept the week that we stayed since the noise travels throughout the hotel (Bring Ear plugs). Also the resort next door the Santa Fe has pool parties Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday from 2pm-7pm which is great as long as you don’t want to have an afternoon nap since you heard everything. The activities in the pool were fun but it was always the same activities every day. The pools infinity pools are beautiful but they are not heated and were freezing. The drinks at each bar varied in quality. If you went to the same bar the drinks were never made the same. The best drinks were upstairs away from the pool at the Martini bar. Staffing around the pool was lacking and the staff members had a lot of people to serve it turned out to be better to go to the bar yourself. The gift shop has minimal selection of items so if you need anything best to bring it with you or go shopping in town. The SunWing staff were amazing throughout our entire stay any questions we had and any excursions we took they helped us out which made our vacation more enjoyable.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort

The resort was amazing. Clean and staff were very courteous. Food was great. Fun fun fun. Excursions were good and our Sunwing rep. Was very helpful . I would recommend this resort to everyone . The beach was always clean. Drinks were very good. I will go again

Riu Santa Fe: AWESOME

This hotel had something for everyone. Adults only themed parties, splash pad for kids or relax on the beach. Food was fantastic and the a la cartes were excellent. 24 hour sports bar came in handy. Did one excursion which went very smooth. Felt safe downtown Cabos and San Jose. Met many fellow Canadians and wasn't surprised to hear that many people we met have come to this resort because its excellent.I know this was my first time here but it won't be my last.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Good for the price

Royal Decameron, good Hotel for the price. Food was good. Dont expect swimming on the beach, you need to go the public beach. Luna Restaurant very good, buffet good. Entertainment good. Good hotel to for for 4 nights.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Execellent Resort

The grounds were beautiful ,roomy accommodation, excellent foods, beautiful beach. The weather was very good except it could be warmer. The water (sea) is also on cool side and quite rough (compare to Cancun, or other Caribbean beaches ). We took a two towns and glass bottom boat ride ,8 hours trip and found there wasn’t much to see in the towns except the boat ride. In all the resort accommodations were excellent but Los Cabos itself is not an interesting place to visit.

We had to ask to have our room changed because we were overlooking a horse barn even though we paid extra for an ocean view room. Also, I think the resort should be more upfront about the amount of stairs and long distance it is to get to the dining or the pools.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort

We loved the resort...it was impeccably kept. We had an ocean front room which was a suprise...they left us wine and chocolate covered strawberries and a towel bunny for our last night ..it was a nice touch .the service was awesome ....the a ka carts were just okay however...I would suggest going for the first sitting ....loved Krystal that was my favourite....my rating would be 9 out of 10 ...and I would definatly go back again!

Riu Palace Baja California: A good vacation

Just came home after a 12 day vacation at this resort. Overall we were very happy with the resort. It is extremely clean. They are cleaning all the time and picking up any trash etc. You can tell the staff really care about the guests. They are always trying to accommodate any requests that you have. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned perfectly every day. We loved the bars and look out area on the second floor. It was such an amazing view. At the morning buffet, Suzanna looked after us and always made a table for us as there were 6 of us travelling together. She also worked at night at Krystal. Thank you so much Suzanna. I also want to thank Jimenez, Rivera, Luis and Ramon at the Indian restaurant. They were all so nice and looked after all our needs. I am not a fan of indian but my group loves it so we went there 3 times. They helped to accommodate my food order so I had something to eat They were extremely happy and we had an awesome night each time we visited. Overall we were very happy with the resort. I think there are still a few kinks to iron out at the restaurants as a new resort but you can tell they are trying really hard to make everyone happy. On a side note, it was so hard to watch when people were abusing the staff due to wait times at the restaurants and service. These employees are working their butts off to make us happy. You are on vacation and no one deserves to be treated the way some of the guests were treating the staff. Everyone should be grateful to have the opportunity to travel and relax. The staff are working to the best of their ability which we thought was amazing. Thanks to everyone that makes this resort a good destination to stay. This is our second vacation at the RUI, first one at Santa Fe several years ago. I would recommend this resort for the price point, cleanliness and the amazing staff that are there to serve you.

Breathless Cabo San Lucas: Not going back

This resort is in a great location, rooms are o.k., food is hit and miss, breakfast buffet is the same everyday with not much selection at all, staff is great,,don't like the fact that pools are so far away from each other, and no swimup bar. Will not be going back to this resort
