El Cid Resort Castilla: lovely resort

The hotel was lovely & the service was excellent. My only complaints were that you couldn't be on the beach without being harassed by venders & in the hotel loby we were bothered by time share people every day. Also we would have liked it better if there were more tourists at the hoteĺ & less Mexicans. We liked the Mexicans but didn't feel included as most of them were with family & friends & all speaking Spanish.

Riu Emerald Bay: great hotel!

Clean, great location, great view nice staff and good food. Elevators were a bit slow during certain periods but overall a great experience. Great balconies and a nice beach. Would definitely go back.

Riu Emerald Bay: Wonderful resort-would definitely visit again!

The room was very clean!! The staff friendly and accommodating. A well maintained pool area. Great variety of food every day. There was a variety of entertainment the week we were there which was nice at night. Overall we were quite pleased with the Rio and would go back for sure. You can't beat the price we got it for.

Riu Emerald Bay: good deal

good deal...get a room on the lower floors and take the stairs. otherwise the elevator waits can be annoying. The food and service is very good. Beach is nice, beautiful rocks and a sunset second to none.

Riu Emerald Bay: Everything there is all top notch

We have been to this resort 3 times in the last 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience each time,the beach,the food, the rooms. It is all great. We fully recommend this resort. When we travel to Mexico this winter we fully intend to go to a Riu resort.

Riu Emerald Bay: This resort was amazing....

We truly enjoyed our time at the Riu Emerald Bay in Mexico. The staff was extremely friendly, grounds well kept. We met many people there and enjoyed our two week stay. I have recommended it to many of our travelling families and friends. Hoping to return one day.

Riu Emerald Bay: Great Resort

LOVED the resort......needs work on the food...food not five star food. Needs more ala carts and better food at the ala carts. The two ala carts are buffet style again. As far as going to the Italian restaurant. ...same as having the pasta at the buffet.

El Cid Resort Castilla: It was an ok resort

The place itself was beautiful. We made a few friends with some of the employees, but the people at the front desk left a lot to be desired. they always made you feel like you were interrupting their busy day. but all they were doing was standing around visiting with each other. And that's only if they were at the desk. Most times they were in the back visiting. Don't get me wrong, the people at the concierge desk were fabulous.

Riu Emerald Bay: Great Vacation

We booked an all inclusive vacation at Rui emerald Bay in Mazatland Mexico through Trip Central. We went in March for a much needed break and booked through Trip Central.ca. Very accurate description of hotel and resort and honest reviews and pictures. It was a very nice hotel and resort, and for the price was well worth it. Did some off resort excursions which were fun, well organized and affordable. It was a nice beach and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The agents at Trip Central were helpful and made booking this fun trip easy and comfortable.

Riu Emerald Bay: Unreal Resort!

I thought this was by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. It was gorgeous, VERY clean, amazing pools (one adult only pool), and the food was spectacular. I am picky with food but it was amazing! The beach and service is also unreal, you will never have an empty drink in your hand. I would definitely recommend this resort!

Riu Emerald Bay: Perfect escape from Winter!!

With the winter of 2014 being one of the longest coldest most difficult winters in the entire North East in half a century we needed the perfect escape! The Rui Hotel at Emerald Bay Jamaica turned out to be just that! 4 of us from work went from Toronto in March! The wrap around pool goes all away around the hotel and is great to lounge and swim in but the Ocean water is right there also and we swam in it daily. The beach is nice, with huts, umbrellas and bars and washrooms close by! The food is amazing and service excellent! There is lots of shuttle buses for off resort activities and taxis for those more personal journeys like into Dunns Falls, or Margeritaville. Room service was good and Trip Central made it all easy with the best price and no hidden fees. It is the only online site I trust in booking my much needed getaways. Great hotel, beach, pool, food ,very clean, good entertainment/activities and service....very scenic....definitively a trip to remember!
