Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Very nice resort!!

This resort has a variety of rooms, suites and restaurants. The beach area is not huge, but suited our requirements. There are multiple pool options if you are looking for a quiet spot vs. The main pool action. Service was excellent- with lots of friendly staff insuring everything is good.

Rex Papillon: Great value vacation

this was our first Time in St Lucia. Most resorts are over our price range so when friends suggested Rex Papillon we jumped at the chance. This resort is small but very clean. We go on vacation 1-2 times per year usually to Cuba or Jamaica. Rooms: Clean and very comfortable beds . Nice little patio with chairs and a table. Rooms cleaned very timely. I can say tha [... read more]t although there was not much variety the food was good. The buffet is very small (resort is small) I was always able to eat very well every day. The main entree changes daily. There is a snack bar by the pool - EXCELLENT fish and chips. The portions are small but delicious. If you don't like what buffet is serving you can always go there but it closes at 6pm. We went to the Italian a la carte (my husband doesn't eat Japanese) - It was excellent. My husband and I had the bruchetta, ravioli and tiramisu for dessert. YUM. Friends we were with had various items from the menu and all shared that their meals were also very good. Pool: I was a bit disappointed at the temperature. The pool was very cold. Although the pool was cleaned daily it appears as though the lining needs a good scrubbing. The pool bar was really good - Leslie makes awesome drinks. Daily activities by the pool were fun. Music was a hit and miss depending on who was at pool bar. Often would start and stop several times during songs which was a bit annoying (technical difficulties) Staff - although many staff are very friendly, the bar staff were awesome and very engaging...the buffet staff were NOT. The buffet staff waiting on resort clients mostly ignored you after you were seated. They were less than friendly which was quite striking. They almost looked as though they were annoyed that they had to serve you. They rarely came to the table to see if you wanted something to drink with your meal. At least 3 evenings I had to go to the 2-3 staff standing around by the wine (not making eye contact with clients) to ask if we could have some drinks for our table. I was often met with an annoyed look and a shrug with a barely audible response. I have been a waitress and know that the job can be difficult but this was really ridiculous - If you don't like your job or people in general go do something else. These staff give this resort a bad name. Beach - We had a red or yellow flag during our vacation. The beach is very clean but not flat (It is angled quite a bit which makes it hard to walk or run on. This is the only downfall for the beach. entertainment - good shows nightly although I have to admits I am an extremely early riser (I'm there for the sun not the nightlife) so I am often very tired by then and don't usually stay for the whole show. On Friday night their is a street party you can attend. the shuttle (nominal fee) will bring you to a closed off street in Gros Islet for a street party - their are hundreds of people from all resorts in St Lucia and also locals. The street is closed off and locals sell alcohol, food and souvenirs, their is dancing in the street as well. The shuttle will drop you off and pick you up at same place. Overall this was a good vacation. The scenery is beautiful. The resort grounds are well kept and clean. Although the weather called for cloudy/rain every day it was still beautiful weather. The rain came quickly (and its cold rain), it rained hard but was done within a few minutes and the sun came back out. Their are cats on the resort and several are very friendly. As a side note: I hurt my back on the third day of vacation, I went to the mall which is just down the street and saw a pharmacist who gave me medication and a cream for my back. Pharmacist was very helpful. I would definitely go back to this resort.

Rex Papillon: Wonderful vacation!

Spent a week at the Rex with my partner, and had a great time! The resort was smaller which we liked- so close to the ocean, beautiful beach, super yummy food- fresh, great fish! The few cats seen were a welcome addition. Pleasant staff, good service and clean. The drive from the airport is long but very scenic on the way back. Location of the resort is great in terms of additional entertainment and shopping. Would definitely return. Thanks :)

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

The resort was amazing and the grounds were well kept, and the staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue is that there was not a great selection of places to eat that offered food other than Fish to eat.

Rex Papillon: Excellent resort.

Very clean room, public areas and beach. Good value for money spent. Good food with fair amount of variety. Great shower in room - always hot water. No noisy boom box on pool deck was HUGE plus. One minute walk from room to beach. Clean beach chairs with umbrellas; clean towels always available. Be prepared for one and one-half hour drive from airport - worthwhile trip, good opportunity to see fabulous coastline.

Rex Papillon: Amazing Trip!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff are wonderful - so friendly and went above and beyond. Food at the buffet was excellent and had two other options of Italian and Oriental. Resort is small and quaint. The beach is long and not crowded. It was relaxing to spend the day on the beach with the waves and doing the free water sports including snorkeling. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would return to and recommend The Rex.

Rex Papillon: Amazing Resort and location

Excellent location in Rodney Bay. Beach is spectacular. Swam non stop all week. Staff are phenomenal. Excellent customer service. Resort is small and quaint. Watersports were very fun and staff very catering.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Outstanding Vacation

It started out great and got even better! We were met at the reception with a refreshing drink, and were efficiently registered and in our Garden View room very quickly. Excellent room with masses of stowage space. Sliding door to our private veranda out to the grounds, such a nice view! The property was very clean and tidy, with lots of friendly staff who always greeted us as we went around. Dining was a snap. Our personal favourite was the Calabash, and for a very reasonable extra fee, La Luna for a cosy, romantic meal under the stars!. Lots of entertainment, and New Years bash was well organized and fun. Plenty to do, or just relax and enjoy. We will return!! (And it’s only 5 minutes from the airport)

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Amazing Christmas getaway

Service was amazing, everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel no request was a bother. We want to give extra credit to the following staff for adding to our experience. From the Pavilion Restaurant - Jason & Marquis. The Pavilion Bar - evening staff - Joanne, Kerry & Darnel. Also Joanne who works during the day. Golf Pro- Dave. Cricketeers Pub - John. A word of caution - evening meal sizes are quite small for a man. The Surf 'n'Turf at the Pavilion was overcooked. Can't say enough about the meal in La Toc! Out of this world We needed the coffee pot replaced in our room due to a loose handle and while we were talking to the front desk staff they were calling housekeeping - incredible service. This is one of the best vacations we have ever had!

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Pleasantly Surprised!

This was our first trip to St. Lucia and to the Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa. Our Garden room on the first floor (as per our request ahead of time), had a vibrant very fresh feeling. It was bright and spacious with a balcony overlooking a manicured garden and the ocean. The room consisted of a sitting area, king size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom with a glass enclosed shower and that was always well stocked with fresh towels. We did not want for anything. We just loved spending most of our time on the beach, which was regularly raked for seaweed. We always found lots of confortable beach chairs and hammocks there, for our enjoyment. When we moved to the pool areas, we always found them perfectly maintained. We totally enjoyed the wide variety of tasty food offered at the Resort. I especially enjoyed the wide variety of fish dishes. We booked the Land and Sea day trip through the Resort and we had phenomenal time. Snorkaling at the Pitons was incredible, but the best part of the excursion was our land-guide. He was so incredible knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew about every plant at the botanical gardens and the benefits of the sulphur springs and mud baths. We had a memorable day! We are already dreaming of our return to Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Sandals Grande, Well Worth IT!

The layout at this resort is just perfect. Not too giant as some of the larger Mexico and Dominican resorts are, and not a tiny property either. Food is accessible throughout the resort and in the main concourse area. We stayed in the Massade building, with partial ocean view. This building is very nice and convenient to all amenities. Food is excellent and they have a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes. This is our 5th Sandals stay so we knew what were were getting into when  [... read more]we booked. I would rate this as a close second to the Antigua location. We would definitely return to this location again!

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Fantastic Resort!

The resort was very clean and well run. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. First time to a resort that had free WIFI everywhere including our rooms. They even had a laptop that they loaned out to anyone who wanted to use it. Our room was cleaned everyday and flowers and towel animals left on the beds. Thank you Stella! The food was fantastic. The Chef even took the time to prepare and cook a slab of Blue Marlin that we were lucky enough to catch on our deep sea fishing excursion. [... read more] The entertainment crew were great and we had a lot of fun. There is a lot of things to do there with out having to go to far. We went Zip lining, horse back riding, Segway riding, fishing, snorkeling and even had a mud bath in a hot spring fed by the heat of a volcano! Would recommend this resort to everyone and would definitely go back. Had an amazing trip.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Beautiful resort

numerous restaurants, food was great. lots of activities on the resort, theme nights were well done, many different areas to relax in. Friendly environment. Rooms were outdated on the family side in need of repairs. If you are looking for a beach vacation this is not the place. It is rough and lots of thick seaweed washes up. But you can walk a long distance. 5 mins from airport

BodyHoliday Saint Lucia: Amazing resort!

Everything about the resort was above our expectations. The food was healthy and delicious. The resort employees were thoughtful and attentive. The included spa treatments were of high quality. We are already planning to go again next year.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Beautiful Resort, friendly service.

The staff was friendly and helpful, room was amazing, presidential suite. Butlers were awesome. Went above and beyond to look after us. Food was overall good. Only complaint was hideaway section was very quiet. Not much going on in the way of entertainment. Also that vendors on beach were very very pushy and would not let up. Down your throat every time you walk the beach. Wich is quite small btw. Also take the helicopter as the ride is around 1.5 to 2.25 hrs with tranffic. On very very windy ro [... read more]ads.

Rex Papillon: Excellent location

Hotel was amazing. Staff was great and the service was definitely one of a kind. Geared More for the older crowed and the bar closes at 12. Food was not unlimited 3 meals only per day. You get what you pay for

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Nice Place

St James Club Morgan Bay was very nice. The resort was spotless, the rooms large, the staff in the restaurants were friendly. The food was average. The beach is small but clean the water at the beach is not clear and blue like you expect in the Caribbean. The rooms have a small fridge but are not stocked with anything. Bottled water in your room is an upcharge (Yes, at an all inclusive, WATER is an upcharge). I understand not everyone wants water, but if its requested for heavens sake supply w [... read more]ater at NO CHARGE. Also the French restaurant is an upcharge of $35. U.S. per person. Personally, I resent having to pay extra for food at an all inclusive.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Would return but resort needs some love

Resort was small - which made things simple. Everyone was friendly (staff and those visiting). Not much to do in the evenings. Beach was a SOLID 3 - water was not clear but it was a little cove so that was nice. Pools - again solid 3, they seemed a bit cloudy. Room... hmmm... a 2.5. We didn't upgrade our room so we had a very basic room. Three times we had to catch a flying cockroach lol but other than that I guess it was ok. Food - five, we loved it. If you're looking for night life... this is not your spot unless you hook up with a local you take you around at night.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Wonderful staff very nice resort

One of the nicest team of staff we have ever had at a resort. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Resort is very pretty with great gardens, and beautiful sunsets. It does require lots of walking as its is spread out, but this was a good thing when you eat and drink too much, at least you can wear off the additional calories.

Serenity at Coconut Bay: The name of the resort says it all!

We did our honeymoon at Serenity, and it was perfect! Yannick, Gregg and Dez were our butler team, and they made sure that all of our needs were met and that we had the most incredible time. We loved all the quiet and the opportunity to just spend time together in our own sanctuary in paradise!
