Paradisus Punta Cana: 8/10

Would recommend this resort to anyone over 30 years old. What I would have liked more of is a better disco/entertainment. The resort wasn’t very busy but it was very relaxing. The reserve pool was empty which was where we stayed so we felt like we had it all to ourselves. The service was outstanding (food/drink/room service). Ate at bana (Japanese) two times and love it. Also really enjoyed Fuego. Wouldn’t recommend the steak house as it wasn’t anything too special. The beach is beautiful  [... read more]and not too busy to grab a bed or a chair. I’d go back again for sure.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Paradisus is paradise

Very clean hotel! Staff are very friendly and helpful. They try to make your stay pleasurable and enjoyable. Great food and restaurant choices. Lots of loungers poolside and at the beach. We wished for more umbrellas for shade, especially up around the pool. People tend to stake claim on those shade spots early by leaving their towels. Otherwise would highly recommend the resort! 👍🏻👍🏻

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Beautiful wedding venue

We were a group of 40 or so attending my daughters wedding and it was beautiful!! Excellent resort for children as my grand kids were all there. Rooms, pools, service, and staff were awesome! The biggest problem we encountered at this resort and would cause me to never visit again was the food. Not that the food tasted terrible but was always cold!!! Taste was good but buffet food temperatures were horrible and the al la carted we visited were not quite as bad but if you didn’t eat quickly you [... read more] were eating some of it cold. Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Picture Perfect

This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. This resort is super clean, friendly staff, beautiful beach, great swim up bar. This is a picture perfect view every day! I would go back tomorrow if i could!

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great place to play and relax

Just got back had a great week wish we stayed longer. Buffet had lots of choices and food was always great. Beach was one of a kind clean and pictures' view while relaxing in a lounge. From check in to check out staff was always friendly and happy. Frederick from the pool bar was always a blast to hang out with. Rooms clean daily they actually change the sheets and pillow cases as we walked in and seen for ourselves. Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Another great stay at the Melia!

This was my second time staying at the Melia Nassau Beach Resort, and it won't be my last. The beach is gorgeous, staff are friendly and helpful, food was great. I requested a ground floor walkout, and was quickly accommodated. The only "complaint" would be that they need something more to do at night, as there isn't a dance club or anything like that. Overall, perfect for a quick getaway.

Zel Cozumel: Great Small Resort

Enjoyed variety of activities and even though 2 adults travelling, still liked family pool. Food lacked variety, but there was always something to find. Liked the grill for lunches. Rooms are a little outdated, but clean and met our needs.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Stunning resort!

Beautiful resort with *incredible* and friendly, attentive (without being intrusive) service. Immaculate grounds and picturesque public areas. Lots of unique seating all over resort for relaxing in. Room was perfect, large and modern with in room stocked fridge. Pools were lovely with lots of chairs available at all times (we were there end of January) both on adult and family sides of resort. Food was fantastic- tr [... read more]ied 4 a la carte restaurants, the best of these being the Teppanaki where a chef cooks for a small party of 8-10 people at a time. The buffets at lunch and breakfast were outstanding with wide variety. Last but not least the beach was amazing, white sand, clean and well maintained with a lifeguard, washrooms and a bar. Would most definitely recommend and will be coming back ourselves!

Zel Cozumel: Enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay at the Melia in Cozumel Mexico. Pros- ocean front rooms, beautiful white sand beach. No need to get up early to save a lounger as they have lots. Lots of shade Friendly helpful staff Location close to the airport and town Cons food in buffet needs to be hotter. Quality of food met the 3.5 star standard Rooms need a dresser

Zel Cozumel: Great Resort

Awesome beach, smaller resort, very clean, food is just ok not great, rooms are large and clean, close to the airport. Staff is very friendly, one of the best resort beaches on the Island, we have stayed at 3 other resorts and this is by far the best.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Great vacation

We had a great time at Paradisus. We visited with our 4-mo son. Staff were incredibly friendly, loved getting our baby to smile, and provided us with a crib and a baby bath. The grounds were gorgeous and very well kept. The food was great - lots of selection, surprisingly good lunches, fun experiences at the a la cartes. The beach and pool were both great, and it was easy to get tiki huts and chairs. The room itself was a bit dated and the view from our balcony left something to be desired (looked onto a neighbouring resort) but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Paradisus! Best Pina colada I've ever had!

Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo: Great location

The hotel is very clean with good views from any sea view room. It is close to the promenade and beach which we walked every day. We had sun every day with a high of between 16 to 20 C so it was perfect for being outside compared to back in Canada. This is slow season in Torremolinos so some restaurants are closed and the majority of people at the hotel are seniors. We did not mind that it was not too busy and it was a great relaxing holiday. Melia Puerto Vallarta: Great Resort!

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at this hotel. Check in was a breeze and our rooms were ready when we arrived at 1pm. Rooms were very clean but a tad outdated. The hotel has a very good lay out. The A La Carte Restaurants were very easy to find since they were close together and the pool area was situated in the center of lunch restaurant and bars. The beach was very nice but the people walking by every 5 min to sell stuff got a little annoying after a while. The Melia also had someone on the  [... read more]beach taking drink orders constantly which was very convenient. We also went to the spa for a massage. Love the spa area. It's like a hidden little world on its own. As for the food, I would give it a 4 out of 5. Italian was the BEST A La Carte place and the buffet had a good selection of breakfast and dinner options. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Melia Braco Village: Amazing Resort

Awesome place to stay if you're looking for a quit,beautiful resort with very friendly staff.Good size swimming pool and long beach with plenty of shaded space and adequate number of loungers.Lots of good food, especially the steak restaurant-one of the best steaks I have had in a long time.I gave the room 4 stars as I had a problem with the shower, where I had to run the water for a few minutes for it to warm up and the fridge/cooler did not keep the drinks very cold.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Melia as fine as it gets

Hotel and grounds were impeccable , cleanest place we've been to in a long time and so nice to see the care going into the resort. We went for the golf and is just a 3 minute drive out front of the resort. Course is in great shape and staff are wonderful. The shows at night ( on the Family side ) were amazing and a total unexpectation. Had lots of rain but managed to work around it the whole week. Zel Cozumel: Great Resort

Just returned from a week at the Melia in Cozumel. It was our 4th visit to this hotel. While it’s been 6 years since we were last there we were pleased with some of the upgrades made for example wifi is now available in your rooms not just the lobby, they have covered beds with electrical outlets on the beach and poolside. Nice to see the adult pool is no longer freezing cold, it was nice to jump in and not be shocked by the temp. Loved seeing Nemencio and Ignatio again, they were exceptional  [... read more]wait staff. If you are looking for a relaxing all inclusive vacation this hotel is the perfect place. It’s small and nobody is going crazy and making noise after 11 pm. Loved being back.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great Vacation

Overall the resort was beautiful. Upon arriving my wife and I were a little concerned as the drive to the resort was a quite scary. The location of this resort was not the greatest. Once we arrived to the lobby, we were greeted, very professionally. I had asked if there were any upgrades to the pools side view, as we didn’t want to look at the garden. We were told the cost to upgrade was $800 US, crazy. We refused, then they dropped it to $600, we refused again, and the prices was dropped agai [... read more]n to $200, so we upgraded. We met people at the pool who payed $600 to upgrade, not fair. The food at all the restaurants was amazing. If you like entertainment by the pool, then this is not the place for you, it was very quiet. The beach was very dirty, water was not clear at all. One more thing that was a little disturbing is they had a private function the occupied half of the pool deck for two days, extremely limiting the space for vacationers to lounge.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Great Resort but had a couple of issues

Good service, great food, but had an issue because there was a down duvet on the bed and I am allergic to down. It took a few days to figure this out because it is a low allergy version. I got very sick after 3 nites. They changed the duvet once I brought it up , but by then my vacation was ruined. They constantly are enquiring about food allergies at the restaurants, it would have been nice to be alerted to this down duvet by a simple card on the bed. Other issue was a drunk banging on  [... read more]the door next to me trying to get in their place without a key at 1:30 in the morning. I would be happy if they shut the bars down at midnight so that I could sleep better. The doors are also very loud when closed (they slam shut by themselves). Still like the place a lot.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: We had a wonderful time

The rooms were clean and the resort and staff were very friendly and the food was awesome. I also would like to thank Jess at Tripcentral for taking care of everything you did an amazing job Jess There was lots of entertainment and the beach and the pools were clean and very warm.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Nickle and dimming resort - Paradisus La Perla

A heads up - Paradisus Junior Suite means the following: first floor, facing the garden which in reality a concrete wall with some wild short vegetation in front of it. the worst part, on the other side of the concrete wall is the parking lot. Also, after paying over $4,000 for 7 day stay, we cannot get a coffee machine in our room as only the prestige level get one of those in their suite. The resort workers keep pushing room service for all your needs as it cost $5 USD for each delivery. [... read more] The adult side is so quite, boring, they only offer aquafitness at noon and dance class at 4 pm.
