Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Awsome Experience, must go again
Absolutely a gorgeous resort, rooms are very spacious and clean. Service was very good, food and beverages were very plentiful and delicious. Grounds and pool were very well kept up and clean, great weather, staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down fall is entertainment and bars closed at 11pm unless you go to the family side. Would return to this resort and recommend to others. Mike & Karey
Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great time, despite weather conditions
Considering the weather was not typical for Jamaica, my family and I still enjoyed one week stay at this resort. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The food was quite good and there was quite a variety to choose from. Very good salad bar, although I had hoped for more variety when it came to fresh fruit. We did book one a la carte restaurant (steakhouse) and won't bother next timers the buffet was much better. We were in an Oceanview room that overlooked the pool and ocean. The ro [... read more]
Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great Resort
The resort was clean and well appointed. The staff was quite helpful and had a desire to please the guests. The booze and food was exceptional. We would go back to this resort... a great family resort or a singles holiday..
Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Terrific resort for family vacation
The grounds are beautifully manicured. The rooms are large and very clean, with great viewing area from the balcony. The restaurants and buffet offer an exellent variety of delicious foods. The beach area is well maintained and a real joy to walk. There are plenty of activities for all age groups around the pool area and the beach. We would like to thank the staff for being so courteous and helpful. We would like to give a special shout-out to Andre and Cora at the fri\ont desk, to Richardo ou [... read more]
Couples Swept Away: NICE RESORT
Nice resort, staff were amazing. Only negative was road noise at rooms along the road! The beach was great, property is well maintained. The Feathers menu is very good. Resort was not over crowded, no line ups for anything.
Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Good food, nice resort!
The hotel is a 45 minute bus ride from Montego Bay..not a bad ride.. The restaurants, at the hotel were really good, grounds well kept, room was nice..downfall was the thin walls..we heard the neighbours talking...we were on the ground floor...sounded like the people above were having a dance competition... The beaches were nice, but bring bug spray...unfort., our youngest was food for the sand fleas... Pool was cold, but the oldest thought it was refreshing..her compliant was she found [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Awesome resort
Everything was great. Room very good. Food was excellent. Night shows were typical of most Caribbean resorts, Michael Jackson impressions etc. One show of local talent (dancers / gymnasts) from Ocho Rios was excellent. Good Beach Not that big a resort so there never seemed to be any line ups.
Couples Sans Souci: amazing resort
Expansive grounds with lots of mature trees and greenery. 2 great beaches to choose from. Never crowded. Lots of food choices. (is this 200 characters yet? ) guess not. Is this 200 characters yet? Still not 200. Getting annoying
Riu Montego Bay: Very nice
Nice resort, good food and drinks. Nice beach, good golfing, shopping. Close to airport and malls. Service very good resort not overally big, entertainment good. 24 hr sportsbar is nice and has small casino inside it.
Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Rooms need improvement
The hotel itself seems magnificent from the outside however once inside, you quickly realize that the inside needs to be updated. The seating area has seen better days; the foam can be seen coming out from the sofas. The first room assigned to us was nothing like what we asked for; it was on the ground floor, facing the pool, we had asked for a room higher up and away from the pool, the room itself was old and smelled of mould although we asked to be placed in a room that would offer a reprieve [... read more]
Legends Beach Resort: Homey away from home feel
Amazing staff. Huge clean rooms. Unbeatable beach with lots of chairs and umbrellas. Will go back again and again. Close to town walking distance to great beach bars with local musicians galore. Glass bottom boat day trip perfection.
Sandals Royal Plantation: Pure Paradise
This colonial, classic style resort offers all you would ever need. It is a luxury resort with all 74 rooms having Butler Service. The food is fantastic and the drinks are ever flowing and top shelf brands. The staff are genuine, happy and attentive to all guests. This is what makes the place a must for couples. Anything you'll ever need is provided here. The beaches are cleaned regularly during the day and there are always loungers to use. It never feels crowded at the beach or in the resta [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Excellent resort, food and staff were great
All amenities were great, it would be nice to have access to bottle water on various sections of the resort. Pool activities were second to none, Staff were fantastic and the good was excellent. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would visit this resort again
Breathless Montego Bay: Super-luxe resort
Great resort, great employees, high-end furnishings and super clean but zero nightlife. It recently opened when I visited mid-march. The place was empty. They had an amazing sound system with cool DJs but zero party. That part was a let down for sure. Would have been amazing if it was what they advertised it to be but I guess we went too soon.
Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Last minute vacation
Everything was wonderful. The grounds are great as long as you choose ocean view. The beach was nice but a bit rocky. The activities staff were wonderful. The weather could have been better. Thanks to Teresa for helping me to plan the trip a day prior to departure. She was extremely helpful!
Dreams Rose Hall: Fantastic resort
This is our third time going to this resort. We love going everytime. The Jamaicans are so welcoming. The food is always fresh. It is a great resort for families. The pools are very inviting since the temperature is not too cold! We also enjoy the shows. If you are looking for a high end resort, this is not the resort for you. The beach is nice but not the best since it has some seaweed.
Grand Palladium Jamaica: OMG!
Grand Palladium's are the best! We've done the one in Mexico and now Jamaica. Both are gorgeous, well maintained and very clean resorts. The staff is friendly, helpful and fun. My favorite acivities we're the reggae and zumba classes especially when Talawah was part of the team. Loved her personality, she was always smiling and laughing. She made my day everyday! Thanks Talawah! I loved the many choices of a la carte restaurants, buffets and bars. The food is delicious and the house wine very [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great family resort
Great time was had by all myself wife and our two girls 4&8 we had an amazing time. We brought blow up floating water toys and many beach toys shovels and Pails. Up graded to the royal golden, got us a top floor room and bottle of rum free safe for the week, beach towels in our room and 4 dinners at the restaurants. Definitely worth the money, people on lower levels had issues with mosquitoes, we didn't see any. We loved the time on the beach and time at the water park!! Pool was gradual [... read more]
Riu Ocho Rios: Riu Ocho Rios
All amenities were great and consistent with prior visits to the same hotel; we would definitely return; we stayed longer this time so our next trip would probably only be a week; throughout the stay the service and reception were fine other than the Sunwing rep was a little short with us on occasion
Catalonia Montego Bay: Good resort, poor beach
We are beach people so we were not very happy when we saw the beach. Very shallow and when the tide is out full of vegetation. Some snorkelling off the pier with lion fish. Good service and food. Very friendly staff. Our last night a family with a baby moved next door and we were woken up at 3am by her crying. You can hear everything! Also, our room in block 6 was close to the main road and traffic noise was substantial all week. We still had a good time since it was warm and sunn [... read more]
