Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: wow

we stayed at the older sister resort last year and loved it! we watched them build the new resort while we were there and decided to go there this march. after reading some of the reviews we were a little concerned but our experience was nothing like the negative reviews, we loved it! the pool is in the shade but only until 10 am full sun for the rest of the day, it wasn't cold but very refreshing! there was plenty of pool and beach chairs either in the sun or the shade. the shower doesn't le [... read more]ak the glass doors don't reach the floor so if you take an extra long shower the water will over run the drain and go into the bathroom floor, no big deal it was built that way and a towel on bathroom floor takes care of any water on the floor. service was excellent, all staff were great! We will definitely return!

Melia Braco Village: Excellent resort

The entire facility has been completely re done. Exceptionally clean, all working personel were friendly, respective, and always went the extra mile to create a beautiful vacation. The place is like a small village with five restaurants and Coble stone walkways. THE FOOD IS BY FAR THE BEST SURPRISE. The quality was excellent as well as the constant entertainment through out the entire day and evening.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Very nice resort

This is a beautiful resort. Everything was clean, the food was great the people are friendly. The beach area is small which is fine with me. Beautiful wedding destination, we saw probably 5 or 6 weddings in one week. I really liked that you didn't have to turn in your beach towel every day for a card. The resort lets you use all the beach towels you want. I also really like that the room key in on your wristband, no worries about loosing it. You can go to the same restaurant over and over if you like. I was most impressed with the steak at the Italian restaurant, it was even better than the steak house restaurant. The locals that try to sell you things on the beach are not pushy at all. If you tell a vendor no thank you, they say "no problem" and leave you alone. In other countries, the local people can be very pushy and even follow you around to try to make the sale. Fabulous kid section, lots of slides and a lazy river, lifeguards on duty until 5:30 p.m. each day. We took the luminous water tour, and though it was interesting, it was expensive and in my opinion, not worth the money. The only negative I would have to say about this resort is that a number of people were smoking the local herb on their balconies and I don't like the smell, it makes me nauseous. I could smell the "weed" every day.

Rooms On The Beach: Very fair deal

Right in the middle of the action of Ocho Rios, Rooms is ideally located if you are interested in visiting the town and experiencing its culture and gastronomy. The stuff was kind and welcoming, the place was always clean, the beach was perfect. We had a wonderful vacation time. It was disappointing to find that our room was not "ocean view" as it was described when we booked it. Dreams Rose Hall: Perfect resort for family vacation

My husband and I traveled with our daughter, son in law and two granddaughters. Our experience from the time we arrived to the day we sadly left was excellent. The staff of this resort were friendly and very helpful. The food was 5 star. My husband and I experienced the dinner for two down by the water. What an experience! Sunset at the Palms: Nice place

The people working at the resort were happy to help with any requests. The beach was cleaned up quickly compared with adjacent properties after a storm. Beach staff were great. Nice and private area with few disturbances.

Riu Reggae: Riu Reggae

We stayed at the Riu Reggae in Montego Bay. This is a new hotel as of Nov, 2016. The good: The food was excellent! The staff were so friendly and very accommodating The entertainment was good for the most part The beach was lovely The bad: --We had a garden view room that had probably the worst view anyone could imagine! It was overlooking a jungle basically with a pile of brush thrown all over the ground and I think building supplies from when it was constructed. I guess we could [... read more] have complained but thought we aren't on the balcony very much during the week so we let it go. --We had very slow service at one of the food venues and one of our party ended up leaving before dessert was served. We were over 2 hours there and were watching guests that arrived after us being served before we were! --I badly bruised my toe on a raised grate on the bottom of the pool in front of the swim up bar. There are raised vents on the bottom here and there that you don't notice until you walk into one because you don't expect that at the bottom of a pool. I'm sure they have a reason for it but should have signs posted perhaps? I didn't notice any. Other than those few problems, we really thought the hotel was great. They kept us entertained in the bar, on the beach, around the pool and in the evening. The staff was very friendly which made the vacation very enjoyable!

SeaGarden Beach Resort: Wonderful Resort

This was my second time 'home'.Everything about this resort is good.The grounds are well kept. Their private beach is clean and well maintained.It is a smaller resort which results you going as a stranger and leaving as part of a family.The staff are all friendly and engaging. Be an little bit older resort you may say that the rooms are a little tired looking,but I found the rooms spacious, bed comfortable and cleanliness was a priority.It has become like coming home.Food was excellent.

Sandals Jamaica South Coast: Beautiful

We had a great vacation at Sandals South Coast. The weather was perfect even tho everyday I would check the weather on my phone it would say rain it never did! We were in the building that had been renovated which was beautiful and clean. It was a very quiet reasort. The sad thing was even tho the beach was stunning and the water was clear there was ALOT of seaweed so you could not walk out very far with out being in it. The staff was AMAZING they were kind and always willing to help in anyway. But over all we had a very relaxing vacation!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort!

This Resort has everything a family on vacation needs! There are things however which could be improved: - room safe should be free of charge as it is almost everywhere else the case - Wifi should be free and hotelwide. This is basically standard these days. - cosmetics (shampoo/ shower gel) should be refilled on a regular basis

Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios: Nice Resort!

We really enjoyed our stay. Grounds are well kept, pools are nice, beach is very small but nice and not crowded. Food is overall delicious and service is awesome! Riviera Side of Resort could use some freshening up (in the rooms). A very relaxing vacation!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Awsome Experience, must go again

Absolutely a gorgeous resort, rooms are very spacious and clean. Service was very good, food and beverages were very plentiful and delicious. Grounds and pool were very well kept up and clean, great weather, staff were very friendly and helpful.The only down fall is entertainment and bars closed at 11pm unless you go to the family side. Would return to this resort and recommend to others. Mike & Karey

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great time, despite weather conditions

Considering the weather was not typical for Jamaica, my family and I still enjoyed one week stay at this resort. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The food was quite good and there was quite a variety to choose from. Very good salad bar, although I had hoped for more variety when it came to fresh fruit. We did book one a la carte restaurant (steakhouse) and won't bother next timers the buffet was much better. We were in an Oceanview room that overlooked the pool and ocean. The ro [... read more]oms were clean. The beach itself was nice, which is not always the case in Montego Bay. Overall we'd recommend this resort and will stay here again when in Montego Bay.

The resort was clean and well appointed. The staff was quite helpful and had a desire to please the guests. The booze and food was exceptional. We would go back to this resort... a great family resort or a singles holiday..

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Terrific resort for family vacation

The grounds are beautifully manicured. The rooms are large and very clean, with great viewing area from the balcony. The restaurants and buffet offer an exellent variety of delicious foods. The beach area is well maintained and a real joy to walk. There are plenty of activities for all age groups around the pool area and the beach. Couples Swept Away: NICE RESORT

Nice resort, staff were amazing. Only negative was road noise at rooms along the road! The beach was great, property is well maintained. The Feathers menu is very good. Resort was not over crowded, no line ups for anything.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Good food, nice resort!

The hotel is a 45 minute bus ride from Montego Bay..not a bad ride.. The restaurants, at the hotel were really good, grounds well kept, room was nice..downfall was the thin walls..we heard the neighbours talking...we were on the ground floor...sounded like the people above were having a dance competition... The beaches were nice, but bring bug spray...unfort., our youngest was food for the sand fleas... Pool was cold, but the oldest thought it was refreshing..her compliant was she found [... read more] lots of glasses in the pool due to the swim up bar.. Staff were friendly and helpful... Overall, a relaxing getaway..

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Awesome resort

Everything was great. Room very good. Food was excellent. Night shows were typical of most Caribbean resorts, Michael Jackson impressions etc. One show of local talent (dancers / gymnasts) from Ocho Rios was excellent. Good Beach Not that big a resort so there never seemed to be any line ups.

Couples Sans Souci: amazing resort

Expansive grounds with lots of mature trees and greenery. 2 great beaches to choose from. Never crowded. Lots of food choices. (is this 200 characters yet? ) guess not. Is this 200 characters yet? Still not 200. Getting annoying

Riu Montego Bay: Very nice

Nice resort, good food and drinks. Nice beach, good golfing, shopping. Close to airport and malls. Service very good resort not overally big, entertainment good. 24 hr sportsbar is nice and has small casino inside it.
