Bahia Principe Explore Coba: DONT BOTHER GOING
Things to beware of at Grand Bahia Principe Coba Resort Mexico Beware of the grounds watering system, it smells like gray water (brackish) Beware of flooring in the rooms when wet especially in the washroom. AC in room may start to drip on floor, remember slippery floor. Shower is of poor design as water will flood floor every time. In room Jacuzzi is a 6-foot bathtub with jets, the same you shower in. When walking on paths take care not to let your foot step off the ce [... read more]

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury Bahia Principe - Amazing Choice
Hotel/Grounds - amazing Beaches - just okay Food - very good Value - fantastic Weather - amazing **late check out was not an option, so we were without a room from 12 noon until 11pm when our transat bus picked us up. flight kept getting delayed, but better to sit at the resort than the airport I guess! Transat agent was non existent during this delay.........all day!
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good resort
Great beach. Excellent food. The rooms were nice. The ala carte restaurants were excellent and the service at those restaurants were fabulous. Room service was good. Staff service and guest service was poor. Guest service employees were unprofessional and booking ala cartes was stressful, staff were rude and did not book us for any of the ala cartes that they said we were booked for. If it were not for the great beach, excellent food and otherwise friendly staff, our trip would have been r [... read more]
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: My 8 th times there.
We love this hotel, for the location, for the service, for the beach, for the beautiful grounds, clean rooms. Friendly service, help. We stayed at this hotel 8 times, and will go again and again. Who ever criticize this hotel must have very very high expectations. For this kind of price what else they want. One more thing that we don't understand, why man don't obey the dress code rules, and go to restaurants with shorts, flip flop sandals and baseball caps at night while their ladies are in [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great value/good resort
This is a huge 5 star resort, and has pretty well everything. The pool is in the shape of the number "8", is huge, has a kids area, a whirlpool and a bar. There are also several kids and family games organised round the pool area, during the afternoons. Several restaurants are available to handle your hunger, however our favorite ones were the two (all you can eat) buffet style. The vast variety of food available, and all was absolutely delectable and tasty. The service is exceptional. They [... read more]
Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nothing but positive
This resort is by far one of best we have ever visited. We were here for ten days and have nothing but positive to report. From the rooms, getting around the resort, the staff, all positive. For the size of this resort it is very well organized, the food was top notch and no waiting at the buffet to fill your plate. Probably one of the most impressive things was how clean everything was. Again for the size it was incredible how clean any public area was including washrooms that were imaculant. [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Somewhat above average resort!
This was our third visit to the Ambar Resorts, but this had its problems: - No Malbec red wine, nor Italian red wines throughout the entire resort! - Irish folk music being played at the Italian specialty restaurant and no Pasta & Meatballs! - Ordered Shiraz red wine at the French restaurant.......brought to our table ice cold, my food order was mistaken for another client, my wife ordered braised duck served in puff pastry..........it was served on SHREDDED WHEAT!..........Requeste [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful Resort
Very impressed with the resort for its cleanliness, size and friendly staff. Special mention about Dinaldo and Alberto at the front counter; they were very helpful to have our room changed. The first room given to us by the front desk staff (sorry did not get his name) after I requested a room with an ocean or at least a garden view when I booked my vacation in October 2017. However the room that Dinaldo gave us was much better, at least we have a view of the swimming pool and was much brigh [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Love this resort!
The whole resort is kept immaculate. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this resort. The people are so friendly. Our butler, Alex, went above and beyond what was required to do his job. We will definitely go back.
Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Very nice resort!!
Rooms are large and very clean, grounds are immaculate, very clean, large beach with plenty of palm trees, chairs and huts. The water is murky due to a river which flows into the bay but warm with a few rocks so step lightly when getting in. Food was good to very good. Hit and miss with warm or hot food. Good selection. A la cartes were very good. The service in the buffet was hit and miss. The wait staff serve, clean and set tables so they may be busy doing other chores rather than ser [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful resort
The hotel was wonderful and clean but the best part was the staff. They were absolutely incredible from being friendly to extremely helpful and efficient. I would love to go back just to see the staff again.
Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Breath taking resort
This resort was absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything about it was amazing. From the meticulously kept grounds to the lovely rooms, to the crystal clear pools to the scrumptious food it was a perfect vacation. The people were so friendly and very helpful. The only thing I can complain about is the trip was not long enough. When you think about it you spend 2 days travelling and only 5 days enjoying your vacation. next time I will go for 10 days.
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great time
Overall our stay was more then I had expected, with this being my first time outside if Nova Scotia to south, I was very happy. The first day I was very nervous and overwhelmed but by day 2 the staff and management team were so helpful and understanding with the needs of there guest I could tell this was a safe and heart warming resort, they were very quick to the needs of the guest. I would recommend it to anyone going to Punta Cana.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Very relaxing
Friends recommended it to us. We didn’t use the pools at all as there were no swim up bars. Also the resort could use one more restaurant on site for those that don’t want to stay on site. The room service menu was very limited and somewhat disappointing.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful
Very nice, staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious, but need some upgrades. Food was good, at night you have to wait longer for the trolley to take back to ur room. Beach is far u need to take the trolley. Akumal is a better resort with better amenities. Closer to the beach and pool.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Wonderful Vacation
We really enjoyed our vacation at Bahai Principe Runaway Bay. The food is excellent, resort is super clean and staff exceptionally friendly. Thanks Deandra and Clark for making our dining experience 5 star.
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful, large resort
The resort was large, well kept, and clean. Service was good. Breakfasts were great, lunch and dinner were good, but certainly not amazing. The Beach was beautiful and could walk for miles and feel very safe. One thing we did not love was the mosquitos! They were really bad in the evenings. We think perhaps do to their “marshâ€, which is part of the property. First time ever in Punta Cana where this was an issue.
Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Best suited for families, ideal
Resort very new, all amenities and services excellent, the cleanliness was second to none. We went to attempt to hook up with friends who were at an adjacent resort. As a 60+ couple we found ourselves wishing our grandkids were with us as the resort is the most idyllic place you could ever want to take kids on a southern holday. We were at Jewel Runaway Bay a few years ago and it was the best to that point we had seen for families but this one was 10 times better for families woth children aged [... read more]
Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Beautiful resort
The resort is very lovely and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Our room was perfectly located close to the small pool, which was excellent and steps away from the buffet. Our room was kept clean and well stocked daily. The food was great with an amazing array of choices. The buffet staff, although run off their feet at times, tried their best to keep our water full. It appeared at times they had run out of clean cutlery though. Check in was a little confusing as staff didnt send u [... read more]
