Secrets Royal Beach: Beautiful resort!!

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. Grounds were beautiful. The pool area with the lazy river was awesome! Food in buffet was good. A la carte restaurants for the most part food was fine. The blue water restaurant at the larimer hotel next door had a great sirloin burger.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: great resort

The grounds of this resort were well maintained. Cleaniness in all the buildings were excellent. The food in all the restaurants were well presented and very tasty. would recommend this resort to everyone.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Disappointed

There is good and bad. Resort was empty, maybe to do with the Corona virus or just how m\bad service is. Rooms were clean and beautiful and air conditioning worked great. Service was not good!! Half the resort was not even functioning everyone was complaining. We paid full price but only half the amenities were available.There were two buffets open at different times of the day that were not buffets that we have ever seen before. We were told they are trying something new called Micro buff [... read more]ets in which they have tiny portions of salads and carrot sticks. It was awful no choices hardly at all. Says 11 restaurants on their site and casino onsite. Nope buffet and it was impossible to get an a la cart as half were closed for the whole week and no casino onsite, all I was told is ya we have to update or site! It's really to bad as the resort itself is so nice and the beach is great but will not go back

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Puntacana

Beach is beautiful, service is excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was cold sometimes. We found a cockroach the first day but the cleaning staff came and cleaned and sprayed the room. Constant service at the beach and the pool for drinks so I didn’t have to get up and get drinks. Entertainment was very nice. Overall very clean hotel. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Fine resort

Fourth time enjoying the Barcelo Palace.Well maintained, and clean. Rooms are very nice especially building 5 & 6.Never a problem finding a private spot even though it is a very large complex.Pete Dye Golf Course is well maintained and fun to play.Good variety of holes. Staff is friendly and hard working.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort

The Barcelo resort complex is very large,but as it is spread along the beach,(it takes about 20 minutes to walk along the beach from one side to the other) there is no feeling of crowding,and never a problem of finding a lounge. The rooms,public areas,grounds, pools,and amenities are very clean and very well maintained.Staff are friendly and helpful. El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Ocean el faro

spent a week at ocean el faro and had a super great time , service , room , pools , entertainment , and alacartes were great. Only disappointment was the food at the buffets were not hot enough . They really need to address this. The entertainment at the pool bar was supperb. Augustin at the adults pool bar is a true asset to this resort. Blue moon had the best service and food by far ,adults only also. Overall would def recommenced this resort . Ps the wave pool was also my favourite spot.

Impressive Punta Cana: Great resort!

We had a wonderful time at the Impressive Resort. The staff was amazing. The grounds were so clean, people working all the time. The food was sooo yummy. We enjoyed 3 of the restaurants. French, Japanese, Italian, French was my favourite. The Grill was my favourite place for breakfast and lunch. All the excursions were fun and right on time; we went to Sante Domingo and toured the city. also went golfing and it was excellent. i will recommend your resort to everyone. Elaine Hines

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Excellent choice!

We recently returned from this resort after celebrating my wife’s birthday. This property was recommended to us by trip central and it was truly an amazing choice. Nothing is left to chance at this location and the service and quality of resort is top notch. Absolutely no concerns and will definitely return

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Super relaxful resort!

This adult only resort, more Iike couples resort certainly can pass for a 5 star! Everything about it, service and food was great! Two different pools with two different atmospheres. Loved that you didn’t need a reservation for the ala carte restaurants! This is most likely our yearly vacation spot!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Beautiful Resort

This resort is amazing an adults only, 20 mins from airport. The king bedroom was really spacious with a huge California King bed. They had a wicker table and chairs. Fridge was stocked daily with 2 water and pop. Snacks were left in cabinet. The staff kept everything really clean. Our room was 5 min walk to pool and beach. The beach and pool could be seen from our balcony. Lots of food choices even vegan in the buffet restaurant. There were 2 other restaurants on site one by reservation only.  [... read more]Pool was refreshing, there was jacuzzi in the middle and 4 massage showers, lots of seating and a bar at one end. You could walk to the beach from the pool area. Beach was a white powder. Very peaceful for going on walks around resort. Peacocks walked around resort and on the walking paths. Tripcentral was great recommending this resort. We will definitely return again.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: beautiful gardens wonderful beach

Our concierge Pablo made sure all of our needs were met. Fantastic person. Huge selection of food and a la cartes restaurants.Service at the buffet was great. Losts of staff on the beach . Entertaiment every nite and pool activities for the family every afternoon.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort!

We loved our stay at Bahia Principe Ambar. This is an adult resort and all the hotel staff are geared to making this a top notch experience. The grounds are impeccable and the newly renovated rooms with swim out options are wonderful. The food in the restaurants within this resort are gourmet and excellent. We loved the outdoor breakfast and lunch cafe, Las Brisas, which overlooks the beach. Great food here as well. The specialty coffee shop was a great way to start your day and the Spo [... read more]rts Bar was a lot of fun at night. The beach and swimming areas were clean and uncrowned. The bar in the lobby made all kinds of specialty drinks which we enjoyed.

Riu Republica: Amazing Resort

The resort was amazing. It was very huge, clean and modern and exactly like the pictures online. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurants served good food and you can eat as much as you would like at any a la carts restaurant. One thing I would improve is the music selection, and I feel it should be more diverse to relate to different cultures.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Third time at the Majestic, still a charm!

Wonderful experience, again. We've now stayed at all three of the Majestic resorts in Punta Cana; The Elegance, The Colonial, and now the Mirage. We're happy to report that each one of our holidays were excellent from start to finish. Our latest vacation was in February 2020, and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a regular room with a roof-top "sky view" patio with a large jetted tub and bali bed. The room was fine if a bit small because of the rooftop feature, which we did use, but not  [... read more]a lot. We had a chance to see a regular room that has a larger, single-floor layout that in hindsight we would have preferred. But no complaints, just personal preference. If you don't try, you don't know, right? We wanted to see what a sky view room was all about. One good thing it did give us was a place to relax anytime there was a bit too much commotion from other guests enjoying the pool below. The Coffee shop was a favourite of both my wife (Mucho cafe, pocito leche) and myself (the amazing carrot cake, wow!). Our butler, Samuel, was very attentive and kept in touch with us using WhatsApp, and checked in to see if we need anything at all daily. He made all our restaurant reservations for us, and when a couple who had joined us was celebrating a birthday, Samuel and Jeremy (our friends' butler) coordinated a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach for us! Bavaro beach is always great, one of the best in my humble opinion. There are plenty of chairs and lots of shade available on the beach. When walking up and down the beach we compared our beach comfort and amenities to adjacent resorts, and the Majestic is by far the best option for those who like to spend their day relaxing on the beach. There are also lots of spots to spend the day lounging by the pools, which run the length of the resort. Restaurants are all fine, typical fare for this class. The resort is very clean everywhere you look and every staff member always greets guests with a smile. All in all, another wonderful getaway at the Majestic--we're looking forward to our next stay!

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Beautiful resort!

Had a great time at this beautiful resort. Fast check in, heard we should upgrade to priveledged room which was lovely although we never had facecloths then waited all day to get them. The main buffet food was fantastic, the ala carte not so much. Hard to get a shady spot at the beach if u went before nine, quite a bit of “saving” going on since one I woke early at 5 and there STILL weren’t many to be found. Room service food was horrible, stay away. Overall it was lovely, just didn’t like the feeling that it was the big tipppers were the ones that pushed their way to the front and got served first.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Awesome resort

Awesome resort The grounds were very clean it was nice to see the birds and the fish and the turtle on the grounds The pathways where clean and easy to get to places. The pools were big and also clean, The food was amazing the restaurants were excellent with excellent staff and fantastic service.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Worst resort ever

in your booklet you have this resort as a 4 1/2 star it is a 3 star at the best. Day one no water, air conditioning, couldn't flush toilets; day 2 no water for part of the day, no air conditioning the heat in the room was unbearable, no hot water. Day 3 no electricity for part of the day. Day 4 couldn't get beach towels; day 5 couldn't get a chair at the beach; day 6, had to file a complaint with the desk to have our sheets changed. For the two weeks it was a never ending struggle to get th [... read more]e basics in our room, bath towels, face cloths, hand towels. Every day we need to get someone to clean pigeon droppings off our balcony. The carpet in the front lobby was filthy dirt what a welcoming sight. We tried to use the telephone in our room and find out it was there for a decoration only no cord going from the telephone to the jack in the wall. Took 6 days to get this fixed. There was mold everywhere throughout the building, water running down from the ceilings during the rain and you could see where the ceilings were never fixed, mold and the paint peeling off. The floor in the main lobby had a big hole where the tiles had broken and left a huge gap. The rest of the tiles where loose and you were scared to walk on them for fear of falling through. Our beach beach wraps got stolen off the beach so much for security on the beach. We were suppose to have a butler, well that was a joke we saw him when we arrive and only one more time when we found him, not him looking for us. The resort is next to a marina and the diesel and waste from the boats made the water very murky and a greasy layer on top of the water. How this beach ever got rated a 5 in your booklet is unbelievable. The We filed a number of complaints as that was the only way they paid attention and we got things done. The Air Canada Representative William was useless, we left him message which were never returned. This is the first time in the past 22 years of going down south that we couldn't go in the ocean for fear of getting sick. Of the hundreds of people on the beach you saw maybe five people in the water at anytime. Our first 8 days of vacation were so stressful that the vacation was ruined. We paid $3500.00 each for this 4 1/2 Star vacation got a three star at best. There were never enough loungers or beach towels on the beach, people were fighting our loungers and stealing towels. It was unreal for a 4 1/2 Star resort. If you check our file you will see we have been travelling with Air Canada Vacations for the past number of years and have been totally satisfied with the resorts in your booklet. We have mostly travelled to adult 5 or 4 1/ 2 Star resorts, so these numerous complaints are not frivolous. We know what to expect and this resort didn't even come close. I have taken numerous pictures of the dirt, mold, water, marina and a number of other things that we disgusting, I will say we did enjoy the food and some of the staff. I felt so sorry for the staff for the number of complaints they dealt with in a day. Every resort we went to over the years the staff were very cheerful and helpful. When you walked by the staff at the resort they just walked by like you weren't even there. We talked to a lot of people at the resort and they were also very unhappy. I would like to hear from someone in your organization that is a decision maker and can offer some form of compensation for this mess. Occidental Caribe: A great Resort

The hotel area is clean the food was great the rooms were usually clean quite well the staff were polite the people who work the pool bar are always fun exciting entertainment at night was great in the hall and the entertainment by the bar was always fun to watch like watching the karaoke overall it was a great Resort

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great Resort

The hotel was spotless, room was great awesome rain showers, pools were clean, the food was fantastic...especially the Brazilian restaurant, the beach is beautiful with crystal clear blue water. The only downfall was the service at the pool areas it seemed on a daily basis that there was not enough staff to effectively service the amount of people.
