Riu Vallarta: Smiling, what a adventure for me

Room was fabulous, sat on the balcony every morning. View of court yard, palm trees and ocean. Sounds of the ocean were heavenly, landscaping and design was incredible. Three places to have my meals, food excellent, Wait staff were very polite and helpful. I have told all my friends and family about this incredible hotel, going down the stair to the court made me feel like a Princess.. Entertainment in the evening was Extraordinary, I took many photos. Danced my feet off and learned many new dan [... read more]ce steps from the staff. Pools were clean and Imagine sitting on a bar stool under water amazing. Best part of all is that I felt safe, for I have been a widow for one year and never travelled. My trip was incredible and I met many new people and made any new friends. I thank you for making a memory that will be with me for a life time.

Riu Palace Macao: Excellant Resort

We totally enjoyed this lovely resort. Clean room, nice view, great food choices, beautiful beach nice pools, many lounge chairs. Even with six of us we always managed to find lounge chairs in sun or shade. The staff are over the top helpful and friendly to everyone. I highly recommend this resort.

Riu Playa Blanca: Awesome resort!!

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly esp the bartenders. They were always ready to serve. The food was very good and they had a lot of selection each day. The a la cartes were pretty good. I would have to say the steakhouse was thr best. The Italian was good but the Asian was not an a la carte it was a buffett. I think it would be better if they took reservatioms for thr a la cartes instead of juet showing up.

Riu Merengue: Awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed beautiful pools and its long beach with warm water, would return next week if I could!! Staff was great very professional and accommodating. Enjoyed myself and can't wait to go back!!! Two thumbs up!!

Riu Merengue: Okay resort

The place was decent. Should be a 3 star. No air conditioner for 2 days no water in our room for a day. Staff was nice. Food was good. Beach wasn't as nice as I thought. Very busy on the weekend and was hard to get a lounger.

Riu Republica: Great resort with a fun atmosphere

Rooms were clean, new and comfortable. The beach was beautiful and clean. Pools were well kept and there was always activities going on to keep everyone entertained. Food at the buffet had lots of variety and always replenished frequently. The specialty restaurants could use some more experience in the wait staff but with being a newer resort, it is to be expected. A couple small tweaks and this resort could be top notch.

Riu Palace Macao: Outstanding!!!

Have been to several Riu's before but not a palace. The palace is a step up from the regular Riu's which themselves are excellent. Everything at the resort was exceptional. We couldn't find anything to complain about.

Riu Republica: Destination wedding heaven

First off, I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. The staff was phenomenal. They entirely made our trip. A special shout out to both Braulio who made our all of our meals an event to remember and Samuel (aka Babyface) who made the evenings quite the same. It was a trip my wife/family/friends won't forget. About the hotel itself. The rooms were very clean and staff cleaned them every day even into the early evenings if you wanted. The grounds were immaculate while the [... read more] pools and beach service being quite quick. Now the best part. The chefs cooked amazing food for buffets. Sure there were misses here and there but that is to be expected when they changed the menu every night. However, overall...wow my entire group was blown away. A piece I would caution about is the excursions. We went on 2. The first was a half day country tour detailing the daily life of a family. It was a rewarding and informational tour and Danny boy our guide could easily do stand up comedy. Great time. Then the 2nd trip happened and we went to the capital for a full day trip. We happened to be the unlucky bus with a crying baby for 3h45mins on a bus each way there/back. My disdain for the parents who made their 1 year old spend a full 8 hours on a bus ruining everyone's day has no bounds. While not the hotel's fault...be careful of the full long day trips which aren't of the party version. Friends told me those were quite fun. Our wedding itself was so memorable. The ceremony on the beach was so much fun with the minister and music on point. Our photographer Nicolas knew his stuff, was patient with me even though I'm terrible taking pictures and did an amazing job as evidenced by all the comments my wife has received since we returned. I apologize for the novel but all in all, best trip of our lives. Go here if you can.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Definitely the best Rui yet

We have stayed at a number of Rui Palace resorts. Although we have not had any complaints about any of the Rui Resorts, the Rui Palace Costa Rica is by far the best yet. The grounds were meticulously manicured, the staff everywhere were very helpful, courteous accommodating and pleasant, the rooms were modernly decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable, the food was outstanding from the specialty restaurants to the buffet. The new set up of first come first served at the specialty restaurant [... read more]s is a much better way than standing in line for reservations. There never seemed to be a problem with getting a decent seat around the pool even without going down early in the morning. I would highly recommend this resort.

Riu Ocho Rios: Thoroughly Amazing Resort

Well not sure where to begin but my vacation from Feb 18 to 25/17 @ Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton, Riu Ocho Rios was just first class!!!! The beaches we very clean, food excellent,bedrooms alot of space with plenty of place to hang cloths along with many drawers👍👍👍👍👍👍 The maids, waiters etc. etc. were always happy, positive there to help !!!!! We went the group on a 1 day excursion with a tour guide named Javier his Company called KnowJamaica to see various points in J [... read more]amaica and only to say this Tour Compay is rated a 5 STAR plus👍👍👍👍 I would recommend this Resort not a problem👍👍👍👍 we will be back !!!!!!!

Riu Emerald Bay: Great Resort

The resort was great, it met all my expectations and more, hotel staff is going out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Very clean, food was great.It was one of the best resorts I have been in.

Riu Bambu: Great resort...

Staff was great...food was normal for an all inclusive.pool and entertainment were a lot of fun...place needs an upgrade but overall rooms were ok...we were told they are renovating this summer... Great beach area

Riu Republica: Unforgettable

The resort was perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible. The service was second to none the events were non stop it is def a place that we will be visiting again and taking our friends Our room was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Food was readily available at all hours the resort staff made sure everyone was smiling and having a good time. They reached out to include the shyest people and bring out the fun in all around.

Riu Republica: Beautiful Resort

Very clean resort, clean rooms and grounds were nicely landscaped. great selection of food and drinks. Staff was very friendly! I love the beach with the white sand that seems like it goes on forever! I swam in the ocean everyday and walked the beach every morning. Our check in and out was very quick and friendly! Love the foam party and beach party! Definitely would book this trip again!

Riu Tequila: A lot of great everything.

This is our second visit to riu tequila. Typically, we stay at a chain we know, but like to try different locations. What we loved about this one is that it's got everything going for it. Food, clean, great staff, playacar location, best beach, memories, awesome show and all activities are around a central area making it easy to be at the hotel. Love it there

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Clean new Riu

Great location lacking in friendly customer service lack of entertainment thru the day and also at night completely dead at 11 PM unless you leave the resort for disco (way to loud) or the casino both of which you must purchase drinks food adequate at best ,dinner only between 6-815 with no reservations permitted. this is too restrictive, offering no flexibility pool nice spa was nice

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Highly recommended

Hotel was clean overall with friendly stuff all around. Had an issue wth the water but got fixed within the hour. Beach was top notch sand and water. Food was good and every drink I got was amazing. Enjoyable experience overall

Riu Palace Antillas: Wish we stayed longer!

We went to the Riu antillas for our honeymoon! The resort was beautiful. Great food and clean grounds at all times! Our room was beautiful and we had a great view of the ocean. We can't wait to go back

Riu Reggae: Great Resort!

A lovely boutique style hotel. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The grounds were very well groomed and with time the greenery will be beautiful. A la carte restaurants(4) were excellent, particularly the Steak House and Doce Vita. Lots to do around the pools if you wanted activity.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Decent Place

The staff was great very friendly all the time. They interacted with the tourists and made you feel at home. The rooms were pretty decent. If you stayed on the backside of the Hotel you couldn't leave your balcony door open as your room would begin to smell foul from the septic tanks The wifi service was horrible, only had access in the front Lobby and not in the rooms. If you are a pool lover the sun only hit the pool area roughly around 1pm and until about 4:30 as the sun would be blocked  [... read more]by the Hotel, but truly who goes to Bahamas to stay in a pool?!?! Take full advantage of the beautiful beach and water. The Beach was amazing, no complaints at all. The water was to die for. For those who like to take long walks on the beach the scenic view is beautiful. Easy access to the Atlantis Hotel ( Via Front of Hotel Main Roads) where you can explore the Aquariums, Theatre, stores, clubs and Casino. The only reason I wouldn't return to this specific location is because there is a lot of drug trafficking that happens between the Workers of the Catamaran, Banana Boat rides, Seadoos etc. They are very rude to each other and they do not care what kind of language goes on whether or not there are young children around. They are constantly fighting with each other and it doesn't make for a relaxing time on the "Resort beach". There was a drug deal that had gone bad and the beach pretty much cleared up. I would rate this a 3/5 -
