Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing Resort

Hotel was extremely hygienic, very friendly staff, amazing food. Their drinks and cocktails; delicious! They had a kids club, which kept the kids entertained on the poolside and evening time. I'm writing this review on behalf of my friend Atrn, since I booked the trip for our group. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: nice resort

very nice rsort, thought I had paid for the best room and not sure I got it, would have liked a corner room with a better view, ocean front and could not see the resort. there were other rooms you could see the pools and ocean. room was not ready until 4:30sh, water was rough

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Enjoyable experience

We stayed in Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach March 4th to March 11th, the hotel located 5 minutes away from the airport, and right in the heart of Montego Bay, it's safe to walk on the street outside of the hotel, at the gate security ask you for your room number when you go outside of the hotel, which is nice, so they keep truck of their guests. It's a small resort, but very lovely property, the hotel building is new and all the rooms facing the beach, so you feel great looking at the ocean al [... read more]l the time, rooms are very spacious and clean, nice bathroom, comfortable beds, clean linens, the only negative we found that the doors are a bit smaller than the frames and you can here all noises from the street. Food is good, not a large variety but it's well prepared, Beach is not too big, but big enough for the number of guests, we did not have to run at 5 o'clock in the morning to reserve the space under umbrella. There was an entertainment every day of the week, the staff is doing their best to keep everyone happy,

Riu Ocho Rios: Great vacation!

This hotel was outstanding! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff were friendly and attentive and wanted to be sure we were having a great time! The accommodations were clean, the food and choices were awesome. The beach was by far the best we have been to in Jamaica...and this is our third time. The water was crystal clear and the beach was long with tons of lounge chairs in the sun or shade. Even the nighttime entertainment was great! Great job RIU Ocho Rios!!!

Dreams Rose Hall: **Great Resort**!

Just returned from a great time. This resort has everything required to just sit back and enjoy. Good food, amazing service, nice beach, good activities for the kiddies, adults, along with good evening entertainment. Highly recommend this resort to anyone trying Jamaica for the first time or returning.

Sunset at the Palms: Beautiful!!!!!

This was a beautiful spot for our first time to Jamaica would definitely stay here again, very clean just perfect size loved the balcony with our own little day bed, had an amazing time and food was excellent, everyone we met was lovely and very kind and helpful!!!! Beach was well kept and felt very safe having the life guards and security there, and was so nice to have the grill there for our lunch, hamburgers were delicious,

Sunset at the Palms: Best Resort I've ever been to

This is a small resort on a plantation like property. It was my second visit to this resort and I will be going back a third time for sure. The grounds are amazing , for an all-inclusive, the food is way above the usual all inclusive type menu. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and authentic Jamaican style. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. It was all very relaxing and comfortable. No line ups for anything. You have to experience it to really appreciate how unique it is.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great Place to Stay!!

We found the hotel and all its facilities to be simply AWESOME! Such nice warm and friendly people. Room was well laid out and clean everyday. Food was great and lots of variety. I would go back in a heart beat! The only drawback!!!!.... it is a 60-90 minute bus ride from the airport to the resort!

Dreams Rose Hall: Amazing resort

I'm not going to lie I was a little sceptical when we first arrived but to my surprise I was totally taken away by the hospitality we received from check in to check out, buffet was good night time entertainment was just enough and all the restaurants were good especially the Italian restaurant that was fantastic and that's coming from myself an Italian!! Oh one more thing the lazy river was the icing on the cake and no it's not just for kids. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Best resort ever!!!

I have never had a better time in my life at an all inclusive resort! I'm a single girl and went alone. The staff was incredible. Anything I needed they had me covered. The location is perfect. The beach was amazing, clean and long enough to get a good walk in. I would go back to iberostar In a heart beat! I love you guys! I can't wait to return!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: AWAY AWAY AWAY

The "express check in" was horrendous with 1 person issuing the bands for our wrists - approx. 75 - 100 guests; we were first ushered (felt like a cattle call) to one end of the lobby to sit in chairs squished together to receive our package and wrist bands. Then we were told to go to the front desk to check in - a very long line trailed throughout the lobby with only 1 person at the front desk; eventually 2 people were there to check guests in....however, that person began calling names out an [... read more]d issuing the envelopes with key cards in them. A lot of people waiting at the end of the line received their envelopes before people at the front of the line - took about 2 hrs. to check in! Check out was better. Don't count on wake up calls - sometimes they happen, sometimes they don't - no clock in the room so can't set an alarm. One day our room was NOT made up; garbage cans were overflowing with empty water bottles. We asked for extra water bottles in our room twice and no one came with them. On 3 separate occasions room service showed up at our room when we did not order anything. At 1:45AM, we received a call asking if we needed dirty dishes picked up - we never ordered any food via room service. Who calls a room at that time of the night?! We booked an all day tour and were never picked up. It was a waste of a morning to sort that issue out. We showed up for 6:00pm reservations at the various restaurants throughout the property and we'd be kept waiting for up to 25 min. before being seated. Food throughout the resort was amazing; the entertainment at night for the most part was A+; the native show was very repetitive and loud. Michael Jackson impersonator was out of this world. Hospitality is first class, although a sense of disorganization was evident throughout our stay. The activities need to be advertised on the television screens in the rooms. I believe they'd have more participation if this was done. I stayed at the LaRomana Bahia Hotel and it was exceptional - this vacation had too many issues. Staff are genuine and hospitable. Would not go back.

This is not a 5 star resort, more like a 3 star ! Any service connected to the room was terrible ! The room was nice. Getting drinks served by the ocean or pool was very poor. We had to bring our own luggage to and from the room. Upon arrival at the resort, we were told the rooms were not ready, we had to sit in the lobby for an hour, then we were taken to the beach bar ? They said food was there, guess what ,,,, no food ! There was no 24 hour snack bar ! So we went over there to get food. They should know after travelling we would be hungry thirsty and tired ! The restaurants were not 5 star, only 2 did not have buffet style, the Japanese and Don Pablo. Any other resort i have gone to did not have buffet style in speciality restaurants. This represents poor dinning service ! Simple foods that grow on the island were not available on most days, bananas, pineapple were 2 of them. JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Fabulous

this resort is first class!!!!!!!! It has everything: close to the airport, great beach, endless and fun activities, lots of friendly and helpful staff and awesome food (not your typical buffet food) I cant think of anything we didn't like

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Wonderful resort

The resort is rated at 4.7 to 5 and that is how we would rate it. The grounds and gardens are a pleasure to look at, everything is exceptionally clean and the staff is most friendly and genuine. The variety of restaurants gives many choices for dining, all superb. We will visit again in 2018. We recommend it highly.

Sandals Inn: Feels like our home away from home!

Sandals Carlyle or Sandals Inn as it seems they are calling it now is a hoe away from home. It is staffed by a talented group of employees who know how to connect with their guests. This was our second visit to the Carlyle and the first time we have ever returned to a resort in our 25 years of traveling. This location is on a public beach and requires shuttling to the other two large resorts, Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean. The Carlyle Review: Staff: Very good to Excellent Rooms: Good to Very good - some do not have balcony's and are quite dated WIFI: Excellent Food: Very good to Excellent Bar: Very Good to Excellent - staff are engaging, beer is red stripe only (which is pretty good) alcohol is premium. The bar is as quiet as the resort which only has 50+ rooms. Internal Staff Provided/hosted Entertainment: Poor to very poor - I don't know what to say, it's really bad, staff are not well versed, competing music from the restaurant and the pool. Just bad! External Entertainment: Good - Show's that were brought to the site to perform, musical mainly very good. Night Life - Quiet - but you can hang out at the big resorts until late in the evening and partake in the loud fun filled environment. There are so many staff to thank but one that really stood out this time around was Dominique at the restaurant went over and above to make us feel very special and appreciated and we hope we made him feel the same way. He is very good at his job and his smile brightens even the sunniest of days. We believe that the Carlyle is the best kept secret in Jamaica and will definitely return one day. We would recommend it to anyone who can rationalize value for the dollar and appreciate it for what it is. A well priced Caribbean get away! Note: the questions below are inappropriate! Hedonism II: Highly Recommend, Very Amazing and eye opening And A+ Staff and Fellow Guests

This resorts up keep is impeccable from grounds keeping to rooms and Staff. The food is amazing and always something to eat 24/7 from fine dined meals to having a pizza at 4 am. The entertainment is A1 in the evening and many day activities as well. The staff works well and beyond to keep everyone happy and comfortable. Met very many amazing people and new friends either donned in attire or without. The ambience is refreshing open and non judgemental of anyone. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful resort

The rooms are beautiful and super clean . The food was very good finally somewhere that my husband enjoyed eating . There lots to do and night time entertainment was fun. The people are amazing . We even got a bonus that's very rare . A FALLING STAR FELL RIGHT INFRONT OF US ON OUR WAY TO THE BEACH. There was 4 of us that saw it . They say that is VERY LUCKY .

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Enjoyed our stay but will not return

We just spent a week at the Luxury Gran Bahia in Runaway Bay. This is a beautiful resort and we were fortunate to have a room overlooking the sea. We had no problem booking our a la carte restaurants and enjoyed most of them. The Brazilian BBQ and the Tepanyaki were our favourites. The entertainment was good for the most part with the Michael Jackson show being the one to see if you're not into shows every night. The majority of staff were not personable, we never saw our butler after check-in even when we called for service and check-in and check-out is terribly unorganized. Service was lacking unless you were willing to tip extra for each and everything. We were told repeatedly, it's all about the pocket. We always tip our room attendants, the restaurant staff, the mini bar, and the beach bar staff but it never seemed enough. I will say, however that Maureen from the beach was amazing. For anyone thinking about joining the Privilege Club, Google the reviews and then run in the opposite direction. We almost got caught, but took time to run the numbers and realized it's not a deal.
