Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Be Live Adults Only, Punta Cana

Certainly wasn’t a 41/2 or 5 star. More like a 3 or 3 1/2. No attention to detail or maintenance. Things around the resort were falling apart. SeaWater had an oily feel due to Marina next to it. There only save in grace was the buffet with good food and attentive staff. Rooms were clean but not spotless. Had to keep asking for towels, facecloths, change of linens, etc Not the friendly place we were use to after 15 other visits to this region.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: great resort

Food was excellent, staff wonderful and many activities. Everything on the resort was in walking distance. One complaint, 3 couples in our party. All 3 rooms came with 2 twin beds. Voiced our concerns to the front desk to have 1 queen or king bed and never heard a word after.

Ocean El Faro: Great resort

The rooms, grounds, pools and beach were fantastic,large, clean. The food needs some help. The food at the buffet was generally cold all the time while the food portions at the restaurants were too small. All staff were great however the cleaning staff need some help with their English (I am sure it will all come in time). Loved the fact that everything was within walking distance and you didn't get lost everytime you wanted to go somewhere

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Great food + Beautiful Property

Great place to visit. Great design throughout. The rooms are a little outdated though, but still tasteful. Great double showers. Comfortable bed. Beautiful landscaping on this immense property. Fun pools by the ocean. Lots of variety available with the sister resort right next to it. Beach is nice but they divide the swimming area with a floating edge that murks the water. Well worth walking to the right a bit for the most gorgeous turquoise waters. Best restaurants: Italian, Meditarrenean, Span [... read more]ish. Buffets are really good. Quality of food is high. Good vacation!

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort but DC not worth it

We booked a Deluxe Junior Suite with Ocean View Diamond Club, but we did not get placed in the Diamond Club building nor did we have an Ocean view. We didn't find the Diamond Club was worth it for just the extra pool, buffet and butler service that was true butler service. We waited almost two hours to get our meals at some of the a la cartes. The resort itself was beautiful and rooms were very nice.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Lovely resort

Beautiful resort, rooms newly renovated. Even though it was a larger resort everything was never to far away. Food was good, for most part staff were friendly. Lazy river was almost to big and more for kids as you get splashed a lot, but that’s probably the who it was made for. Beach was also very nice. I would go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing Resort!

Stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda for 9 days from February 24th to March 4. Resort is definitely a 5*. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Food was great. Lots of food choices. Although there were lots of restaurants to choose from, we decided to dine in the Buffet restaurants. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are excellent and very friendly. We would definitely return to this resort.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Beautiful Resort

Our stay at the Lopesan Costa Bávaro was fantastic, we had a wonderful vacation. The grounds were beautiful, the smell in the lobby was not pleasant, but they are trying and you get use to it. The Only negative is the entertainment..it really needs improvement, it was very boring and the same thing every night. They also need more chairs for guests to sit on at the beach and pools. We would go back to this resort in the future

Riu Republica: Great Resort

The resort was clean, staff was very friendly. The grounds and rooms very clean. The beach and pools were great. Would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.We would go back to this resort again

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Nice resort.

We enjoyed this resort. It was on the small side which we like. One pool was fun and the other quiet which was good if you just want to relax. Rooms were clean food was good except no notice of what a-la-carts were open on what night. The buffet was good. The quality of food was good. Staff were very please and helpful. Grounds were well kept. We will probably return for another relaxing and enjoyable vacation! The only thing I wasn't fond of was they had some sort of an air freshener constantly [... read more] running in the lobby that was too strong of a scent at least for me.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Beautiful resort

This resort did not disappoint in any way... clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautifully landscaped, amazing staff, great beach, wonderful pool, delicious food... And best of all.... face cloths in the lobby bathroom! I thought this was an awesome touch for freshening up! We spent seven days of total relaxation and are planning to return in the future.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Great resort super clean

Everything at this resort was spectacular other than having to make reservations for meals at restaurants that was impossible to get into. You would have to reserve online several weeks before going.

As it was my partner's first all inclusive, I really wanted it to be amazing. He was very pleased as was I. From the rooms to the staff and the food. From the beach to the pool. Everything was top notch.

Secrets Cap Cana: Heaven on Earth

Amazing hotel, close to airport, beautiful private beach, lots of activities but not the party atmosphere....extremely relaxing and you are treated like royalty. The food is incredible and the staff go out of their way to make you feel special!! No need to go anywhere else!!

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Beautiful, but work to do

Resort was beautiful and good layout. Smell wasn’t that bad, but there definitely was a smell in the lobby and some hallways for a couple of days. Hotel staff were hit or miss, most were pleasant and nice, but some of them were just unhappy to be alive on particular days. I did experience some rude and unappreciative guests, so trying to give the benefit of doubt here. Beach and pool chairs... I honestly thought the other reviewers may have exaggerated, but not so. Found myself heading  [... read more]down to the pool at dawn to secure a spot, going back to bed and then coming back around 8ish to about a 1/3 full chair area, which would mostly fill up by about 11. Lots of towels on chairs and guests who did not arrive until noon or later - disappointing given the “no reserving” signs everywhere. Staff try to mitigate as much as possible and are helpful when asked to find some space. Dinner reservations were made the morning after we arrived so no issues there and would have been great to know when activities or shows were happening at the hotel. No real information except for a few of them listed on the TV or digital boards spread across the grounds. Coffee shop was great! Water park was fun and otherwise, a relaxing vacation.

Rooms not stocked very poor check in service, ie do not respond to problems in room. 3 toilets in beach area for well over 200 people half time no water to flush or wash hands. For a new resort poorly maintained

Impressive Punta Cana: Service could be better.

Found the resort very beautiful and well-kept at first impression everything seem to be very well maintained. Until the sales pitch started constantly pressure to upgrade buying packages for future vacations, constantly pressuring everywhere we went while walking around the resort, either too purchase excursions, visit the spa for massage Etc. Not including vendors set up on the grounds in every pathway making [... read more] an impossible the walk peacefully without being bothered. Only to reach the lobby to be confronted by Hotel staff looking to steal you yet again further upgrades and massages. If only the service with the staff even with simple things as receiving a drink before you finish your meal in buffet or at a la carte match the scenery of the beautiful Resort & Country. What a shame

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Beautiful

This place is amazing for kids and adults, lots and lots to do. The food is alright. And the entertainment Is really good as well. I only wish they had like a beach bar/snack bar. This was really the only thing I wasn’t to thrilled about.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Great resort for families & adults only

Large white sand beach, many different restaurants (Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish, Sports restaurant, etc.), & activities (mini-golf, golf, bowling, tennis, basketball, water sports, sailing, canoeing, etc.) many pools, water park for kids, many bars, 2 large theaters with great shows every night.
