Food awful Customer service awful Rooms awful dirty Resort needs alot of work they can not accommodate that many people awful Beach was amazing and weather was great Will never go back or refer this resort to anyone.

Melia Costa Rey: Great vacation, great resort!

Our recent vacation to the Pullman, Cayo Coco was fantastic right from the start. Graham O'Neil at Trip Central was very helpful in booking our trip and kept in touch with us with any information needed etc. Upon arrival in Cayo Coco, the resort is just a short ride from the airport. Check in was quick and easy. They even offered us a cool towel to refresh while we waited. The grounds, room, restaurants, pools etc were all clean and modern. There was always something good to eat. The snack bar was my favorite, amazing burgers and fries! All in all, great vacation from start to finish. We would return to the Pullman, Cayo Coco.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Cayo Coco melia hardiness del Ray

From the moment we booked our trip 2 weeks ago with Tammy at trip central to reaching home last week, our trip was amazing! The service throughout was great , hotel and entertainment was good and weather was fantastic! We were delayed one day due to the ice storm in Toronto and sunwing handled it all very well. Definatly recomending it to my friends and family! 2 are going in May with family one in June and 6 in November. It was that awesome! 😁🏝

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Wonderful resort!

Just returned from a fabulous week at this sparkling new resort! My wife and I and our 4 travelling companions had a great time enjoying the pools and the amazing beach. The hospitality from the staff was as good as it gets, friendly and engaging people who make the effort to ensure the guests are well served. Special kudos go to the beach and pool bar staff (especially Oscar!) and the lifeguard Guillermo. Too many nice people whose names I do not recall! The food was typical for a Cuban resort  [... read more]in the buffet (average) but the a la cartes were fantastic and above average for sure. As a new resort they still had a few minor bugs to work out (lost power one night for awhile, no water another night) but even these minor inconveniences did not change our overall impression of the place. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The theater was still under construction but will be open soon and it will be gorgeous. Entertainment in the court yard area outside the buffet was very good under the stars! There were many excursions to take advantage of (although we just relaxed within the resort) but there is nothing really to do locally. I should mention that the gift shop is very small and only has some basic souvenirs and toiletries. If you are planning on picking up gifts or cigars you will more than likely have to get them at the airport on the way home or take the bus into Cayo Coco to the small market they have there (an hour bus ride, 5 CUC return trip). If we ever chose to go back to this area of Cuba we would certainly stay at this resort again without question. Hope this review helps anyone on the fence about heading to Cayo Guillermo.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: This is our Second Home

We love Memories Flamenco in Cayo Coco. This is our second trip back and it will be our go to from here on out. THE BEACH IS BEYOND AMAZING!! the rooms have been updated and the service is perfect. Strongly recommend diamond club for your stay. Do not be afraid to give this one a try. There is no need to do a beach excursion when staying at Memories.

Sol Cayo Coco: Exceptional Staff

The food at the Sol Cayo Coco is good, the resort amenities good, but it's the hard working people at the resort that made our stay amazing. Thank you to the staff at Sol Cayo Coco for making our stay exceptional!

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Awesome vacation!

Great resort ! Very clean , comfortable room . Easy access to all areas of the resort . Beautiful beach , did go to Pilar beach but preferred the Grand Muthu beach .Staff exceptional !, friendly and always willing to help . My luggage wheel fell off during flight there and maintenance Man was able to fix it .Lots of pool space and pool chairs . Enjoyed the pool exercises .

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: very nice

This hotel was very nice and spacious. A bit pricey, but we did leave our vehicle for the week so with that and the hotel room I guess it was reasonably priced. The only problem we had was at the airport for pick up time the vehicle they use to pick up and drop off are very different - this would have been nice to know at drop off time. Clearer markings on the pickup bus would be helpful too.

Tryp Cayo Coco: 12 Days of Sun & Fun

Amazed at how much they’ve been able to fix after the hurricane. Gardeners were working very hard to restore the vegetation. Breakfast at the buffet was great with lots of choices. Snack bar was close by the pool and convenient. Went to the Cuban reastourant once beef was nice and tender. Went to the Azul International 3 times cause we like lobster,cost an extra $20pesos but we’ll worth it. They have a new beach bar with a big sitting area, but no washroom nearby. They’ve brought in a ton  [... read more]of sand and extended the beach. This was our 6th time here and really enjoy the people who work very hard to make your vacation enjoyable

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Amazing resort !!

This was the best resort my husband and I have been to. We have been to Mexico, Dominican and Cuba, but this resort has topped all. The pictures of the rooms do not lie...our room was exactly as pictured. The grounds however nice, where under development and I'm sure in a few years will be exceptional. The food was acceptable for Cuban food. It was a great improvement from our past visit to Cuba a few years back. I would have liked to have more activities available, but overall a great resort for the price.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Totally amazing

It’s still young, but the grounds are great, people even better. Love it We plan our next trip to the same resort, I highly recommend it. Pilar beach is cool, bit of a walk, but having the actual beach on a board walk is kinda neat

Hotel Camino del Mar: Loved Melia Guillermo

Thank you tripcentral! I would go back in a heartbeat the beaches are beautiful tons of chairs to sit lots of shade you can walk for hours either way beautiful colours to the water. The rooms were very clean a little dated but nothing that I would complain about but they were cleaned daily restocked daily I have no issues with that in fact I have nothing but good things to say about how clean the rooms and the hotel was. Saving the best for last was the staff they were awesome from the buffet stuff at dinner and to the bar staff always polite and so welcoming love the Spanish coffees!

Hotel Camino del Mar: Beautiful Resort

This was our first time in Cuba and we had an amazing time at the Melia resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beach is breathtaking and all amenities were great and easy to access.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Nice resort

The room is bad. The shower is not working well and ventilation fun was broken. The food is poor and not many selections and almost same everyday. The stuffs are nice and the beach is the best I like in this resort.

Everything is great except room and food. The beach is the best. The food is not good. Almost the same thing everyday. The stuff are very nice. The fan in the bathroom is not working. The bed is wet all the time.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Lovely resort ...incredible staff!

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo is a lovely new resort... fresh and modern ... the staff were excellent and extremely helpful when we had several small issues... everything was resolved quickly and with a smile. The resort is about a 30 minute bus ride from the airport. The resort is adjacent to but NOT beachfront and the water warm and shallow...it would be great for small children...we enjoyed walking way down the beach in the afternoons ...Victor at the beach bar was super friendly and offered gr [... read more]eat service! I only wish there was a giant garbage can on the beach for all the plastic cups and straws people left littered all over the beach ( or bring your own refillable cups) And get to the beach early if you want a chair under the shade shelters! The pools were all nice and new however the water quite cold and you had to be there by 7 am if you wanted a chaise with shade ( the resort could use more shade shelters or umbrellas) Definitely bring a warm sweater as the exposure of this resort seems to be always windy plus the indoor restaurants are keep quite cold with air conditioning One suggestion for the front desk would be to post events for the day somewhere central like the lobby so that guests know what and when things are going on.. we missed certain things because we didn’t know they were happening... The food was plentiful and varied ( except for fresh vegetables) but we were never hungry.. the a la carte restaurants were good ( although portions were very small) and don’t forget to bring that sweater... ( I wish there was more open air availability for meals) We booked a snorkelling excursion with Hola Sun but it was cancelled due to rough seas and high winds and were refunded our money so we felt happy about that The staff at the lobby cafe/bar were incredible.. working constantly and so so friendly! Everyone there was incredible!! (Especially Lesli) Canadian dollars were exchanged for Cuban pesos at the front desk anytime of day Entertainment was varied and mostly fun.. something for everyone.. the big theatre was not finished yet so we had most of the shows in the courtyard by the restaurants and it was fine( again I wish there was a posting somewhere in the lobby to explain when and where events were being held) Rooms are spacious and bright with a lovely balcony.. big bathroom with a modern large shower ( no tub) ...we had some flooding happen in our shower but it was dealt with immediately and they completely fixed the problem so it didn’t happen again... towels are plentiful and toiletries are supplied. There is a safe in the closet ( and lots of hangers) Eguardo the bellman was fantastic and helped us get a room with a king bed ( as we had requested) since we were assigned to a room with 2 doubles...His English was excellent!! We really enjoyed the variety of live Cuban music throughout the resort .. it helped create a truly ambient holiday! The service at this hotel was amazing and you couldn't have asked for friendlier people!! We like smaller resorts and this one fits the bill with only 500 rooms.. the landscape will be nice when things get grown a bit more and there are tons of groundskeepers constantly working even in the heat of the day to keep things nice... much appreciated!! A lovely resort overall!

Melia Cayo Coco: Best Beach Vacation

We have returned from our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel. We were very hesitant about booking as we could see the widespread damage that Hurricane Irma did. Things in general are all back to normal although a few repairs still need to be done but they do not really impact your stay. Still no roof in the theatre, but we preferred the shows in the lobby! Great entertainment again this year, in particular the evening shows and groups, just wonderful Cuban music! We really only had a few minor issues. We would like beer in a beer glass, it often came in a wine glass. I brought my own pillow as the pillows in the room are too big and too hard. All in all it was our best beach vacation ever. We are already planning our trip for next year!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Very Disappointing

This was our first trip to Cuba and we were very excited to see something new. We were aware that there would be some things to watch for. We were told by almost every one who ever travelled there that if you did not go 5 Star then you would be disappointed. They were right. This resort was promoted as a 4.5 star. Not true. While the beach was beautiful, and the food was actually good, the resort itself was in disrepair. I understand that they were recovering from a very severe hurricane, howeve [... read more]r, some things should be up to standard before you open your doors to paying customers. The rooms were atrocious. Rails hanging loose from walls. Nails holding other things up, nails that are sticking out of the wall an inch or more. Dents in walls, heating controls hanging out, lights that won't shut off, and mosquitos by the dozens in our room. Dead bugs squished on the wall and ceilings. Also, it was promoted as all inclusive, with a daily stocked fridge. Again, not true. One bottle of water for two people, in 30 degree heat is not sufficient. Mind you, this water was also for brushing you teeth. If you wanted more you had to bring your bottle to the bar or restaurant to refill. No new fresh bottle. Also, if there was one can of beer in the fridge you were lucky. The staff were friendly, but the service was very inconsistent. We sat in the main bar one evening, and waited almost an hour for service, as staff walked by. On our last day there, while eating lunch, I found a dead fly in my food. That was the final straw. I would not recommend this resort. In fact, it has totally soured me on travelling to Cuba ever again.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Fantastic Memories!!

Loved our time at this resort. Check in was smooth - only hiccup was that they put 2 out of our group of 7 in a section10 that was run down and far away from others. Rectified the next day, but not without a little argument from Karen at the front desk. A/C did not work in one of our groups rooms but they survived ;) Section 6 was perfect otherwise. Snack [... read more] bar was a great place to spend lunch. Cannot express how beautiful the beach is - large, not crowded and absolutely stunning. Would go back to this resort for this reason alone. We were early risers, so we had no problem getting a palapa, but those who get up past 7am were forced to pay the workers to "reserve" spots. Wasn't a fan of this practice. Staff were lovely All in all we would love to go back in 2019!!

Melia Jardines del Rey: I wouldn't go again

The actual building is nice. The pools are nice but not cleaned very regularly. The food was questionable at best. If there was a food that was decent they ran out of it more then they served it. They only give 1 bottle of water per room for a family of 4 and refused to give any more when asked. We ran out of hot water for 48hrs, lost power in whole resort last day with no storm or cloud in the sky. There is a huge language barrier which is very difficult.
