Playa Costa Verde: Very Nice Resort for the average person!

Average decor in the rooms (needs new bed linen and pillows) Very clean room, beautiful grounds, lovely pool and beach area, Need to remove rocks from beach water, very accommodating employees, Buffet dining was very good and the other restaurants that we tried were poor. Better nightly entertainment required in the evening. Overall it was fine but will not be going back to Cuba very soon if ever. Thanks Tripadvisor anf Teresa for all your help planning this vacation. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Excellent service!!!

The staff were exceptional, every day! The rooms were clean and the food was FANTASTIC! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, there are multiple excursions off site but lots to do on site! I would recommend this resort to anyone!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: an ausome holiday experience

This was our second trip to Paradisus Rio de Oro, and a 2 week duration compared to a one week stay 2 years ago! The accommodations, personnel and facilities are superior and we WILL return [ God Willing]. The meals are varied and superior in both quality and presentation and in our opinion it is the personnel that provide the SPECIAL TOUCH and that includes the gardeners to the top management!!! Brisas Covarrubias: brisa currubias

beach was awesome,so clear and no undertow. entertainment was good service was very nice. grounds were neat.Too far from the airport and not much to do outside the resort food was adwquate for the price,restaurant was only one supper per week,the rest was buffet only ,

Don Lino Hotel: Tranquil

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Don Lino. My daughter recommended this resort and we are glad that we came for a relaxing vacation. If you are into a lively night live this isn't the resort for you.

problem in getting a fair opportunity for ocean view villa, front desk help was no help, never a manager to speak with food is fair, and that does not pose a problem getting beach chairs, and having to pay for them is a problem

Sol Turquesa Beach: Great value for your money!

The staff was amazing. Very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The grounds were lovely and well kept. I enjoyed the buffet as well as the a la cartes. The Romantic was my favourite. The lobster dinner for an additional 20 CUC is well worth it. The lobsters tail was twice the of ours back home. The highlight for me was drinking fresh coconut water and then eating the coconut too!!

Brisas Guardalavaca: Great Family Resort

Another great week in March. The weather was hot and sunny the whole time and he ocean and pools warm and refreshing. We stayed in the villa section - I highly recommend this as it is quiet and relaxing. The resort is small an with everything I a 5 minute walk. The beach is everything you would expect in a Caribbean destination, turquoise water, white sand, and a shallow shoreline. The restaurants are passable, as is the buffet. Returning guests are thanked with a complimentary bottle off U.K. and a tree planting ceremony followed by a special lunch. Wonderful resort. Definitely going back for a third time with our three young children.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Good value, lovely staff

Had a wonderful vacation. 6 people in our party. No one got sick. Staff very friendly. During the week we were there saw improvements being made to the facilities every day. Nice to have watercraft included in fees. Jeep tour is a must. Beautiful beach and inspite of it being very busy we always found chairs and a spot in the shade! Pasta bar wonderful. Always had enough of everything. Helene in Cuban restaurant made Cuban pie for us on her time off!

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Beautiful resort but watch out for room selection.

Club Amigo Resort has mixed reviews for our family. Beautiful view. Amazing sceneries. Gorgeous pools. Out of this world snorkeling. Incredible heat! Lots of shade. Great bartenders. The rooms we upgrated to, the Villas, were very nice and spacious and ocean view. The negatives: #1 typical Cuban food (bland) #2 our reserved rooms (Garden View rooms) were minuscule, had horrible mattresses, no view, no balcony and were in the back of the resort. The Villas are 10 times nicer than the other rooms: [... read more] totally worth upgrating. #4The service at the front desk was slow and inconsistent. We had to beg to get a Villa room. #5 Electricity and hot water were on 98% of the time. Power outages were mostly in the morning. We would definately go back but would make sure we reserved the Villas upfront.

I truly enjoyed this resort. We stayed in a villa room and loved it. The grounds are well kept, the many pools were amazing, the beach is to die for. Snorkled to the reef in front of resort. Food was acceptable.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Fantastic resort

This resort was recommended to us by a friend at work and he was right. The food was really great,friendly staff the best beach and snorkling Anywhere in Cuba and great bars everywhere you go.Stay in the plus side as the rooms are only two years old.

the resort is amazing...food was great, this is our 4th time there and the food has gotten way better...love the a le carte's..ashleys café is great...wonderful staff there,,miquel is awesome makes the best cappuchinos..and does the nicest art work,,,,the only complaint is the entertainment,,,,and only the Cuban cabaret band ,it plays way to many times in the run of 10 days and they sing the same old songs everytime...should try some more upbeat new songs..and for the young people would be nice [... read more] for some modern music....all the other entertainment was great,,loved the watershow, and the acrobats.....the rooms were really clean, we stayed in a villa and it was great...see u all next year.

Was there mar20 to 27, 2015, first 3 days the hotel was full of Loco Cubans, that crowed the pool 24/7 pool full of garbage, cups, plates, cigarette buts after they left everything was fine, beach was nice but not the best I've seen, if u walk the beach in the morning or evening you will get eaten with sand fleas, we are covered in bites & blisters,, room was nice ocean view behind the beach bar, mattress was the worst Ive ever seen, just a mattress on the frame with springs sticking in ur back, [... read more] would find better in an homeless shelter!! ,, been to Cuba 6 times the food is the worst I've ever seen, thank god for booze !!!or I wouldn't be able to stay 7 days, but met some great ppl there & had a good time because of it .

Sol Turquesa Beach: A great resort

The people were so nice and very nice to be around. Resort is huge a great deal of steps. This resort has 7 pools. Beach is small with lots of sea weed. Food was excellent. We had great weather, and a great holiday.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Exactly what our tripcentral told us it would be !

We wanted a inexpensive week in the sun. Our tripadvisor told us it was reported to be older but clean, had a great beach and it was big so lots of places to go. She was bang on very clean room older yes, great pools and beautiful beach. Sun and great tempratures,wonderful staff who did there very best. Exactly what we wanted and expected thanks Krista we had a great time.

As long as a beautiful beach and great people are what you're looking for, you'll be incredibly happy if you choose this resort. It had everything we needed! We are not fussy people, our room was clean, our drinks were plenty and we enjoyed 10 great days in the sun. I would recommend this resort to everyone!

Brisas Guardalavaca: Would definitely return.

Property is wonderful: clean, attractive, spacious, good food, nice beaches, long safe walkway available. Most of all fun polite staff. The mix of ages and nationalities staying at the resort was unusual.

Brisas Covarrubias: Fabulous Staff !!!

Small resort, big hearts! All of the staff are wonderful and would do anything for you. Been there nine times - home away from home. Beach is absolutely the best - protected, soft, really white sand. The grounds are nicely kept up. Food is good at both the buffet and the al-a-carte. Also the lunch at the Beach Bar. Some of the rooms have been refurbished, some are still tired but who wants to be in their room anyway?

We stayed from March 10-17 for a week of beautiful weather. The staff was beyond friendly and always greated us with a smile. The resort was clean, the grounds were beautiful:) we enjoyed the beach and several of the pools. Both of our daughters age 8 months and 2 1/2 years loved the pool. Thank you for a great vacation
