Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing Hotel

The beach was fantastic - always room under the palapas. The food was great at all a la carte restaurants except Brasilian where the meat was not cooked properly - too tough. The room was great as well as cleaning staff. Everyone was always ready to help. Restaurant reservations were easy to make from the app of the hotel, either on your phone or on the screens in the lobby. Fantastic 14 day holiday.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Excellent resort

First time at this resort and we were very impressed. We were greeted by our butler, Isaias and he was fantastic. Always available to look after our every need but not hovering. Anyone who is lucky enough to have Isaias as their butler will not be disappointed!! A shout out to Dimitri, who was waiting to greet us every day on our way to breakfast, and Elroy, the bartender at the beach swim up bar. Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Amazing resort

This resort was exactly as advertised. newly built white sand beach so many choices of food and drinks beautiful and comfortable room with balcony and ocean view friendly and helpful staff We had a wonderful vacation.

This hotel was fantastic all around and will only get better. It’s a 10 month old resort, staff is friendly but not always efficient due to language. This resort is a mix of French, Russian and English so it’s understandable. The beach is awesome, the facilities excellent. Food is somewhat bland but ok. The spa is excellent as well. Riu Palace Punta Cana: Stunning resort

We loved everything, the grounds, the beach with natural shed under the palm trees, the food, the outdoor restaurants, the specious rooms with high ceiling, with a big flat TV, everything working like a clock amazing service, everything was resolved in literally no time, a lot of facilities for old people, the tennis club coaches especially Christian and the day entertaining especially Jaime, the dance teacher. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: FABULOUS REORT! FOR EVERYONE

IF YOU get bored here its not hard rocks fault! lol...the restaurants were all amazing and we loved the pizza especially ,loved how all the pools play different levels of music and don't forget to sample lunch at each of them.. all have different options! we were in building 7a and found it a great location..close to beach and restaurants and steak house ..which also served breakfast..they all have same breakfasts we found but the ones down by beach seemed quiter to get into with no lineups  [... read more], but the main buffet at main lobby was always lined up...and the beach behind the kids pool always had umbrellas etc available and had a bar right there! the waves were big but so much fun..under towers strong tho..saw a few people that needed to be helped by the very diligent life guards so don't go in to far ! we found the staff truly lovely and very easy to communicate with ..they were all so happy..honestly happy..singing away and always trying to do what ever they could to make your stay great..and we didn't feel pressured to tip to get good service [ even tho we did as we know what a big difference it truly makes for their lives and how hard they work ]..loved the over all experience and had a ton of fun! we probably wouldn't go back as a couple but will defiantly go back with a group and family!

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Beautiful Resort BUT!!

Our vacation started off with about an hour delay leaving as the Sunwing flight crew couldn't get ground transportation to the airport. (poor excuse - weather or mechanical problem acceptable). I will never go on another vacation that has these horrible flight times again and it seems that's all Sunwing has. Once we were at the hotel we were at the head of the line, so check-in took no time at all. I liked that our wristbands were also the key to our room. We got a nice surprise, our room  [... read more]had been upgraded. Our room was big and beautiful. I had a few complaints that should be easy to fix. We only had 1 small bottle of water in our room ( in a country where you are not supposed drink the water). This is the first hotel I have ever been in that didn't have kleenex in the bathroom. The room had a nice big closet but it only had 3 hangers in it. This is the first resort I have been that has a 24/7 restaurant. Which was great because it was after 11pm when we got there. The service was fast and food was good. We only had to make reservations once for the a la carte restaurants. We ate at a different 1 every night except 1 which we ate at the buffet. No complaints at any of them. My favorite was the Japanese. The grounds were beautiful. Couldn't believe how mature the gardens looked for a new resort. Infinity pools all over. The Boulevard has just everything you could want to do. The casino is still not open. The beach and the pools are beautiful, but the BIG problem with this hotel is the chairs at the beach and the pool. The first morning we got out to the pool late, so we were expecting to have a hard time finding a chair. But the next morning we were down by 7. There are signs up saying no reserving of lounge chairs. But by 7 there were very few chairs that didn't have a towel on it and very few people at either the beach or the pool sitting on them. I have no idea what time these people were down there at. Morning 2 we got our chairs and went to breakfast. Now this is a first of any resorts I've been to. When we got back our stuff was still there but our chairs were gone. There was a gentleman sitting by us that said he had told them to not take them we were coming back. He said the worker at the towel shack had told a security guard to take them. Don't know why they picked on us but there was still a lot of chairs with no one sitting on them. After some discussion with the towel guy and the security guard another worker was going to get us chairs. Have no idea who he stole them from. This was quit the discussion with everyone around the pool. You could watch several times a day, everyday the staff removing peoples things from their chairs and carrying them away. Supposedly more chairs were on order. You felt like you couldn't get up and go to the bathroom or go in the pool because your chair might be gone when you got back. One morning I sat on another couples chair to make sure no one took them while they went for breakfast. I found this very frustrating and I don't think I would come here again at this time of the year. One night I went to get clean beach towels for the next morning but there weren't any. The next morning when I went to get clean towels there were a couple of girls that asked for an extra towel. My thought was that people were getting more than 1 towel and saving a chair at the beach and 1 at the pool. If the people working in the towel booth would only hand out ONE towel like they are supposed to this might help with the chair problem. I think this resort could use another bar on the beach. There are only 2 bars down by the beach and large pool. One is for Unique guests. There were very few people using it all day. The bartenders did handle it well at the bar the majority of people used. They had the people line up on both sides and kept telling them to move over. This was a fair way of doing it. They had a cart set up on each side of the pool with drinks. I didn't get a drink from these as there was not a cooler keeping the water or mix cold. Just a big bucket of ice. They could also use more waitresses working around the large pool. Most of the time it seemed like there was only 1 on the other side of the pool. I've been to other resorts that had places with machines that you could go get your own water, juice and pop. I think they could use these here. Leaving our flight was supposed to leave at 9:20 pm but it got delayed by 2 hours. I liked they left us at the resort. But it was 1 of the other passengers that told us first that it was delayed not the Sunwing Rep. We were finally in the air at 11:50. LONG DAY!!!

Excellence El Carmen: Excellente Resort !

Beautiful modern hotel; well laid out. Beach is perfect. Amazing staff and entertainment! Great food, awesome Martini bar. Spa is heavenly ! Great place for couples to relax and have a romantic getaway. Loved it ♥️

Occidental Punta Cana: Perfect get-awat

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. There was always someone raking or sweeping or scrubbing or painting. It was well laid out with pools strategically placed throughout the resort. Both the pool and beach had ample seating. The pool was very clean and warm. The beach was beautiful. The beach was raked often and always has security. It was a wonderful holiday and we look forward to returning next year.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Very Nice Adult Resort

The grounds were very nice and the room was very clean and not at all musty smelling like some Caribbean all inclusives. There were plenty of chairs available around the adult pool and the adult beach. However there were not many chairs with shade on the beach. The beach itself was very clean with only a little bit of sea weed. The dress code in the restaurants was quite relaxed and the food was good but not great in the specialty restaurants. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great resort and best location!!

This is our 3rd time visiting Punta Cana and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Great beach and upgrading to the Colonial Club was the best experience ever. Eduardo our butler met all our needs and kept us informed about the daily goings on etc. This is the first Caribbean resort we have been at that had absolutely no lack of space, loungers and 24 hours food. Occidental Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort

This hotel was fantastic! The food was great and the grounds were very clean. The beach was great to walk for hours. Excellence El Carmen: Great resort

We had an amazing time at Excellence El Carmen. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The resort is kept very clean.The beach access was great. The beach was clean and the sea as well. We had access either to the beach or the pool. We had a room with a private pool. The room was clean to the standard of what I have expected. The pool was cleaned and chemicals were added every day. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at BP Luxury Esmeralda in January 2020. the food was good, service nice, and grounds were tidy and beautiful. The beach was clean, the pools were clean also. Booking with our agent Kathleen was the easiest part. I wouldn't book without her advice. We enjoyed the Dominican.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Awesome place 😊😊😊

We stayed on the Adult Only side and were extremely satisfied with the room ...excellent view...the staff were friendly and helpful...the walk to the “Shopping Mall” was a pleasant 10 minute stroll(muchly needed after a great lunch) A great choice of restaurants to choose from for our suppers ( seafood,Italian,steaks,Japanese along with numerous buffets) We will definitely be back💝💝💝

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: What a lovely week!

I have just returned from a wonderful and relaxing week at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana! The grounds were immaculate, perfectly kept and so lush. The winding pool that snakes through the resort is such a refreshing break from the typical square/round pool and helps create a more private experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little dated, but still comfortable. Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

The resort grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious, food variety is perfect and really well done. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. They work very hard all around the resort for an enjoyable stay.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great beach & food

The grounds, pool, beach, amenities, restaurants, casino, and disco were all really nice. The Golf course was in great condition and very easily accessible. the a la carte restaurants were the best I’ve had in DR. Having said all that, the rooms and balconies were not as advertised. Upon arrival our upgraded junior suite’s floor was soaking wet with hair and dirt pushed around by a mop. Was much tighter quarters than depicted online, even though the location by the beach was nice, I wou [... read more]ld upgrade another step. Room service is an extra charge!? Trying to order drinks to the room, they would limit us to 6x 8oz warm beer cans. Trying to stock up on cold cans in our fridge to avoid draft was impossible, and got hung up on a few times trying, even though we paid for it. Beyond that everyone was friendly and it was a really nice resort.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Nice vacation

At first we were disappointed because we had a small room with two beds and we had specified one king bed. This was rectified two days later with a better room. As for the hotel we considered it a 4star resort rather than a 5 star generally. What we enjoyed was the friendliness of all the staff wanting to render our vacation as perfect as possible. The restaurants and food we excellent The poor side is the lack of chairs at the beach so we always had to get up very early to reserve the chairs.  [... read more]The spa facilities were not open to us unless we took a massage. So the rainy days did not permit un to enjoy the most expensive services. All in all we enjoyed our vacation but will not come back

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great customer service

Judy was very helpful in meeting all our needs of having a close golf course, beach, pools and restaurants. The alacarte food was great, we had the Japanese, Mexican and steakhouse. The casino was also great fun. Thank you!
