Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Overall great resort!

The Memories Caribe Beach Resort still needs a little TLC. Some of the rooms still have not been updated. We had a few issues with the room, but everything was fixed right away so the service was good. Rooms were clean, maid service awesome! They did run out of food at the pool bar a few times but you could order other items that were available. Their were some line ups in the buffet for food for pasta. Food was generally good. Beach was AWESOME, best beach ever!!! There was one big problem wit [... read more]h the beach chairs at the resort. It was very hard to get chairs on the beach. A lot of people went early in the morning at 6.30am to lay towels down, but then had their towels stolen. Watch your towels as there seems to be a towel bandit on the beach. Many people lost their towels and then the hotel wants you to pay 15 pesos each per towel. I would recommend paying a little extra money to pay for diamond club so you always have a chair. Entertainment was great! Highly recommend the Beans café and Lobby bar as all drinks and entertainment was amazing!!! Overall the resort is great, resort grounds and some rooms need some updating since hurricane, but they have done well in fixing all the important items. Grounds will take time to grow again. I can't say enough about the beach. It is awesome!

Hotel Vigia: Very accomodating resort, I stay here always

There has been some devastation to the property due to hurricane Irma, however, with the weather will be growing again, the Cuban people work so hard to make things nice. This resort in particular.. It is incredible what they have rebuilt since September, and they act like nothing happened.. in communication with them, they worked tirelessly, proud people. The objective to travel is for the beach here, relax and enjoy the people. A return vacation is in the works for September. Remember your mosquito spray for this time of year.

Hotel Mojito: Will be returning

I stayed at the Iberostar Mojito from March 31 to April 7, 2018. Have been to Cayo Coco many times but never this resort. The Air Transat flight was great, the welcome at the resort was swift and welcoming. My room was ready when I arrived. Had room 1604 on the ground floor facing the pools. I am a picky eater but never went hungry. Ate at the beach bar restaurant, the snack bar restaurant near the pools, the buffet and the a la carte Italian. The people, both staff and resort guests, are what m [... read more]ake this resort special. Also, it had the widest, cleanest beach of them all, and I walked the whole beach every day. Enjoyed the foam party on the Wednesday. I liked that I had the party pool and pool bar if I felt like partying and could go to the quiet adults only pool if I was looking for peace. Yes, will definitely return. Thank you Trip Central for once again helping me book a holiday.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: RELAXING WEEK IN THE SUN!

This was a nice relaxing trip. The resort is still recovering from the Hurricane, but all facilities are open. They have white washed everything - walls, roofs so it's lost some of the Caribbean charm you see in the photos. It is an adult only venue so no kids which kept things a little more quiet. We had a lakeside view. There was a nice breeze most of the week. The beach is great. When the tide goes out you can walk for miles in ankle deep water or pure virgin white sand. Amazing! We b [... read more]ooked the Diamond Club which guaranteed you chairs and served drinks on the beach as well as special dinners. All the staff try really hard to please. Amazing people! The entertainment was varied. Some things at the pool, at the lobby as well as the theatre. Again they try hard to please. The Brazilian themed show was spectacular! Because you are a long way from anything though I'd like to see a different show every night. There's a sports bar, but it's mostly soccer on the various screens. It's almost an exclusive Canadian crowd down there. About half English half French so an opportunity to have channels set to the Jays & NHL hockey was missed. Come on Rogers! Send a rep down and sell them a sports package! I mentioned the guests were all Canadian which is, of course, ok eh. Sorry... but the last Cuba resort we stayed at had a lot of Europeans as well which made for interesting chats around the bars. Sorry I have to end on a negative. The quaint little airport was totally overrun on the way home. Over an hour in line that started at the bus and worked it's way to the SunWing counter, then fight through the other counter lines to wait another hour in the customs line.

Hotel Camino del Mar: problem

the hotel was good,and the big problem was the people working there,making a lots of nose and so on which i have to tell several time please 8. o'clock in the morning we are sleeping.2- the food not much chooses i couldn't believe it's not much things to choose.3- there they don't have disco at night to dance,it's first time i see a place has no place to dance.4- we had a lots of delay when we were there and especially when we return .we left the hotel at 6.pm and with all the delay we arrived i [... read more]n montreal at around 3:20 and all this time which is close to 10 hours we stay hungry and in the air plane they don't offer anything.that's really cheep.i don't think i ever travel with air transat again better sunwing or others.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Resort!

This was the first vacation that we have ever been on, we were very please with this resort! Everybody was so nice and friendly, the pool always had available chairs, and if not there was a person to grab the chairs from the stack for you. The beach, was absolutely beautiful as well but had to get there early to find chairs! There was a nice variety of food. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Memories Flamenco Beach Resort

The resort is just the right size. 10 building with 3 stories each. Approx 60 rooms in each building. Not gigantic like some resorts and you have to take trains or golf carts to get around. Probably the largest and best beach I have ever seen. Still working on the grounds to get it back pre hurricane last September and it will be an ongoing project for sometime. Food is as good as you can get in Cuba. (my 6th different resort) Staff is awesome and make the visit great. I will be back !

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: resort need s work

This is my forth time at the Daiquiri ( Iberostar ) but it is not a five star ,even by Cuban standard s .I do understand that the storm s have done a lot of damage to the island ,but feel that the price of the should reflect the state of the resort..The staff as always make s the resort the five star ..I have very little to complain about my room was good ,but I wish I would have known the state of the damage done to the resort Thank you Darcy Horechka

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beautiful resort, great beach

The hotel is very nice, but huge. The buffet was super busy, the beach pizza place ran out every day. The staff were wonderful, the weather great. Love the beach, the pools. The ala carte dinners were good, not sure if I would return re soooo busy in spots, but would be fun with a large group, too busy for my liking. Loved flying out of Hamilton, so fast and easy.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Melia Cayo Guillermo - Great Resort

The staff are wonderful people, so helpful and kind. Resort is lovely with good variety of buffet offerings, a la cart restaurants and entertainment. We took the shuttle bus to an amazing beach Playa Pillar. Would go back without hesitation.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Our trip to Grand Muthu, Cayo Guillermo, cuba

My recent trip to Cayo Guillermo grand muthu was fabulous. Catharine Robertson at trip Central booked our vacation and answered any questions that we had. The hotel is definitely a five-star, wonderful people, beautiful pools, rooms and entertainment. It was our first time to cuba.i definately will return. So pleased with everything. Melia Costa Rey: Pullman, Cayo Coco, Cuba

Vacation at age 73 with my family was awesome. The beach is pristine as well as all amenities. Our rooms were the same. Above and beyond were the staff. Activities for my 4 yr.old grandson were wonderful and the infinity pool was amazing. We enjoyed our meals with the staff attending every need and then some. Evening entertainment for the children was awesome. At my age, staying in my own room, I felt very safe and comfortable. Not one single complaint and would return in a heartbeat.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Wonderful stay at Grand Muthu!

We stayed at Grand Muthu from March 30 to April 6, 2018 and had a blast. Service is very good, I have no complaints about anyone, food was very good, and they put a lot of effort into the shows. The pools are all stunning and the hotel is conveniently located near Pilar beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! This hotel seems to only attract families, only one of the nights the disco was somewhat busy. If I had any complaints, it would be the cleaning in the rooms, I never experie [... read more]nced any issues with bugs but cleaning was below par for a 5 star. Despite that, my family would say hands down this was our best trip to Cuba (we go every year atleast once.)

Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing Resort!

We have been to Cuba several times but this was out first trip to Cayo Coco. We absolutely loved this resort. It was quite small (which we enjoyed), the best food we have ever experienced in our eight trips to Cuba. The staff were so incredibly friendly. The beach was beautiful. The resort, although a bit older, was very clean, very well laid out, had several bars, a la cartes and the buffet was superb! Hotel Camino del Mar: Paradise!

This resort was perfect for our group of 11, with ages ranging from 7 to 70. The staff were fantastic (shout out to Mary at the buffet!!). The beach was one of the best I've been too. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Very, very, very poor

The resort is to big to much walking, the toilet's water tank was leaking, we reported it and the maid reported it and they did not fix it. There was only one big towel and a small one for 2 persons. We had to ring the water out of the towels throughout the night ,so we did break our neck going to the bathroom, The food was terrible. So one thing is for sure I will never go back to Cayo Coco. I will not be recommending this place at all. We were there for a wedding and the beef at the wedding [... read more] was so hard to eat. I have never seen anything so bad in my life.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Great vacation resort

This resort was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The beach was clean and there was never a problem finding a hut or a chair. The people who worked at the beach were attentive and very pleasant. I have been to many resorts in Cuba and this resort was by far the cleanest. The beach was awesome.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great New Beginnings!

Fabulous start with Vicky Sullivan as our agent! She was quick to respond and fantastic at making sure that we were advised of what was happening every step of the way. She even let the resort know that it was our honeymoon and they greeted us with wine and chocolates. The rooms at this resort were beautiful and well appointed. Can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, welcoming and tried so hard. For a brand new resort, we expected the management to be checking in with the  [... read more]visitors to see how things were going, but the management didn't seem to speak with anyone except each other. Poor layout in the kitchen with lots of lines. Beach is beautiful as well as the pools. Pool bar hard to get to unless you go through the whole pool. Love that the resort is small with easy access to everything.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Absolutely Wonderful Resort

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the Melia Cayo Guillermo. This was my third visit to Cuba and I liked and would rank this resort and its food the best of the three resorts I've stayed in so far. Cuba and its people, atmosphere and weather is just so amazing and appreciated by me. Wish I could visit more often and for longer!

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Fantastic place

Grounds are beautiful, lots of new plants/trees etc. since hurricane, once they mature it will be gorgeous! Resort is perfect size, never had to reserve a chair although that didn’t stop some crazy people from reserving a cabana with their towel and proceeding to lay a lounge chair on top of it in the cabana! Food was decent. You know going in it’s not going to be like home but the seafood was really good. You can certainly find something to eat for a week, and for those who complain cons [... read more]tantly about the food I would say you are focused on a food holiday and maybe a cruise is the way to go, I was here for the beaches and beautiful water. The Japanese and French a la cartes were the best. Ketchup was hit and miss, no Diet Coke, and watermelon was the only fruit we ate, however the coffee/cappuccinos are amazing! It’s true they do not have facecloths so prepare for that. We would walk to Playa Pillar beach, it’s a bit of climbing rocks and substantially easier at low tide but we went whenever. Unless you are unfit or have mobility problems, anyone can walk there along the beach, runners would be best but we managed with flip flops too. We loved this place and definitely will be back.
