Absolutely beautiful location outstanding service excellent food unlimited wildlife roaming the grounds fabulous evening entertainment pristine beaches the entire week was so fantastic if we could have we would have stayed another week

This was a very amazing Resort most beautiful grounds the wildlife peacocks flamingos swans all sorts of birds iguanas the lemurs was awesome the hospitality was great the food was awesome and the public service was great

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Our January Stay

Staff was great, food delicious with great evening entertainment. Only complaints were that there was no club, just a restaurant open late and the showers went from freezing to scolding hot. We had a great time overall.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Such a great experience!

This is the second time at Iberostar Cozumel and we had an even better experience than the first. The grounds are lovely with vegetation and exotic birds. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious and fresh. This is diving heaven so if you are not into diving or snorkeling (or just swimming surrounded by fish) the swimming may not be to your liking. The pool is not heated so the water is cold (in January) and the beach is very rocky so entry in the ocean is off the dock.  [... read more] Lastly, the entertainment is very good - highlights are the Fire Show on Thursday and Beatles Tribute band on Monday.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Very Nice

It was smaller then we expected and had a Jungle Theme, lots of trees. On hot days it was always comfortable in the "room" areas. The people that worked there were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed speaking with many of them. We felt very comfortable being able to walk outside the compound which we did a number of times. Actually I believe this place had probably the best entertainment of the places we have been or certainly right there on top with the best. The one down fall was that the water had a lot of rock in it and we could not swim in it. If we went on the pier where the fish were we could climb down the stairs and enter the water that way which we did. So if you don't mind a small place and rocks in the water it is a nice place to go. Snorkeling is great and lots of people went scuba diving.

Hotel Mojito: stay away

very poor in relation to my other trips. beach is far far away over a long walkway which is in poor condition. beach is small and very dirty and unkept . due to the long distance a shuttle would have been nice. no bicycles or motor bikes to rent . games room with one pool table and a ping pong table is only open 6 30 pm to 1100 pm [how stupid ] . pool bar only serves burgers and fries from 12 noon and not 24 hrs as stated. music is loud and not worth listening to. foo [... read more]d in the dining room was poor in relation to other resorts i have been to in Cuba and i have been there 8 times.. room was outdated and the plumbing didnt work most of the time according to staff this resort is to be sold within a year . staff for the most part were friendly and helpful I would not recommend this resort.

Grand Memories Cayo Largo: It's ok

We stayed here January 12-19. It was newly renovated from what we heard and just opened back up. The grounds are nice, rooms are clean. The beach at the resort was washed out due to the weather and high winds. We got lucky with great weather but apparently the week before was not so Great. Lots of people complaining about no hot water, our room was fine it was at least warm water. The staff was great!!!! Hebert and frank are great guys! Probably the most beautiful beach I've ever seen! Food was ok... Great omelettes for breakfast and pasta and pizza at dinner was good! Our friend did get sick for a day and a half not sure what from. The beds are super hard and not comfortable. You don't go to Cuba for the food or accommodations... You go for the sunshine beaches and the people! All in all we enjoyed our stay. It is a small island with not much to do and the guests at the hotel are mostly older from Quebec and Italy. The disco at the Marina was fun.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Gorgeous resort, fantastic staff but disappointing beach

About 45 minutes from the airport including stops at other resorts. Rooms, the large pool, and grounds were beautiful and modern. We had a fantastic ocean view (bungalow 9). Drinks were very good. All restaurants and food was really good albeit somewhat limited at the buffets (but that could have been because of the time of year we went - mid January). Asian restaurant was very entertaining. Shows were ok. All staff were terrific, adorable and very hard working including but not limited to b [... read more]artenders, gardeners, front desk, maids, wait staff, and bus boys. The one very big downfall is the beach. If you are a beach lover its not the place for you (very small and corally). It had a waterfront boardwalk with loungers and beds and stairs into the water, although there was one small area you could enter via the beach, where the water sports hut was. Good beach bar on the boardwalk but no beach grill while we were there. Not sure if the hut we saw on the beach was it and only open during peak season. The resort is within a 20 minute walk on the road to Pilar beach which is gorgeous and has a really good grill.

Everything was well keped on the grounds. The birds were well looked after as well as the cats the food was excellent and lots the entertainment was great as they got the audience involved the only thing that disappointed me was our bed it was a double and we were expecting a king but we didnt spend that much time in our room anyway o yes thy even had an umbrella in the room

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beautiful resort!

It was a wonderful experience to be able to walk from our private suite through the lit jungle paths and onto the beach, pools or straight to food and bars. Many activities to enjoy throughout the week at the resort alone! Staff were always making sure we were taken care of example; if there were crumbs or condensation from our cool glasses, someone would come and clean it as we were sitting at a table. Buffet was good but we most enjoyed the Japanese and steak house restaurants while we were there! Overall, this resort up was great and we would definitely like to return someday!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Fantastic Resort! Lots of fun!

I went here with a few friends for a week and we all had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the beach and pools were divine. Even though it rained for a part of the trip, there was still plenty to do and see. Really enjoyed the pool tables and the small library. Thanks so much!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great Resot

Thought the staff and the food were great. My only complaint is that I wish the dancing had more options or themed nights. I'm not great at latin dancing and I wish there had been evenings when they had 90's or rock and roll.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Gorgeous Resort!

The Iberostar Playa Alameda is located near the end of peninsula. The accommodations are in several three level apartment style.buildings. Ours had a living room/bedroom combination with a large bathroom with a tub and a separate shower stall. We had a balcony to view the well kept grounds from our third floor suite. We had been to Cuba before so knew to take an electrical converter and adapter as the power is 220. I will certainly return to this resort!

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Fantastic Time at Iberostar Playa Alameda!

A friend and I traveled to Cuba January this year (2017) and we stayed at the Iberostar Playa Alameda resort, and I must say it was awesome! Cuba is such a fantastic destination and this resort just added to our fond memories! Great food, great service, and the staff were outstanding! We could not be happier with our choice of resort! Thank you Iberostar for making our vacation perfect!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Beautiful Resort

Iberostar Costa Dorado is a lovely clean and well kept resort. The food was amazing and the service fantastic. Would highly recommend it. Have visited many hotels in the Dominican and Iberostars are the best. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and always ready to please. Rooms were always cleaned daily and restocked. Great value for money. Would certainly return.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Iberostar a place to enjoy.

Staff were great. Good food. Nice rooms. Excellent service. Nice choice of resturants. Good selection of excursions. The trip back and forth to the airport was easy. We always felt safe and secure.

Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus: Just an awesome resort! Would love to return for sure!

The gardens/grounds were in immaculate condition, thanks to the very hard working staff! The pools were monitored all day everyday for debris, etc. The beach was kept clean and supervised! The nightly, variety of entertainment was exceptional! The staff connected with the entertainment were willing to give dance lessons and were all very friendly!

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: iberstar Cozume;

The place was very beautiful and the scenes and animals added to the forest image they were attempting to portray. The staff were very friendly and engaging. The problem was that I was sick with food poisoning twice (no did not drink too much) and that was a real turn off.
