Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing staff

The staff at this resort makes the entire experience priceless. From the service at the breakfast buffet to the bartenders and amazing staff in the kids club - all fantastic! Upon arrival our air conditioning wasn't working and the hotel had this resolved by the time we returned to the room in the evening. We were there celebrating my mothers 60th birthday. The staff decorated the room for her birthday all while she was on the balcony reading a book and had No idea anything was happenin [... read more]g. The jerk chicken is amazing and we never came across a time when it had run out. Definitely make sure to check out the blue hole/island gully experience!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Decent good for kids

Hotel is just ok. Staff was nice. Water park is great for kids. If you are travelling with kids this is the place to go. If not the. Probably not the best place. Beach is good and the food is decent too

Riu Reggae: Dream Vacation

We had an amazing time at the Riu Reggae!! Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The resort was clean and well organized. Food was delicious and we loved that you didn't have to make reservations for the restaurants. Evening shows were top notch. Thank you Riu Reggae for making our vacation amazing!!

Royalton Blue Waters: Beautiful resort

It was a beautiful resort. The food and the drink weren't that good. The food was really greasy. The service was amazing. It was pretty close to the airport, like maybe 30 minutes from the airport. The view of the ocean was beautiful.

POSITIVES: hotel was very clean and nice that it was brand new can't say enough about how great the staff were pool was nice beach was pretty nice size of resort was perfect rooms were a nice size and stocked well close to the airport jerk chicken hut was delish! WHY WE WONT RETURN: hotel view was a barb wire fence-ridiculous for the price paid! very crowded (although always enough chairs for everyone) almost tripping over each other music was super loud - [... read more]and we like a good party but was hard to hear each other talk in the pool and the second pool had different music going at the same time , just as loud the way they seat the restaurants is ridiculous...reservations would help alleviate the frustration with lining up at 6:30 and then NOT getting in so we ended up at the buffet 4 of the nights which again for the price of the trip was not acceptable house wine was terrible and the bottled red wine that we purchased was chilled we have travelled many times and don't mind paying decent money but expected more from this resort-definitely not a 5 star , maybe a 3.5 star in our opinion

Riu Ocho Rios: Fun was had by all!

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent be sure to try the Mamee bay steakhouse, the 8 oz tenderloin melts in your mouth. They are very thick so if you order med rare it is very rare. Gift shop staff were a little harsh monitoring your every move. Bought a lighter that didn't work after I left the store so I went to return it and was told I only get one return? Tried the new one and told her it works so it won't be coming back. Pretty o [... read more]bvious reason for return but I was treated like I was trying to put something over on them?!? That's the only complaint I have about our stay. Riu posts that there is no need to tip but after finding out their wages for 60 hrs work i felt it important to help them out by tipping so bring some one dollar bills. All in all a great vacation!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Best resort in Montego Bay!

Exceptional! in all the aspects. *Special Note 1: Alecia ("breakfast station") was flawless. She is very talented, gracious! She made perfect "sunny side-ups" and she was very supportive of the trainee person. She has a beautiful personality and a warm smile. *Special Note 2 - Kassandra ("bar on the beach") was also very helpful and pleasant, with a beautiful smile. Many thanks to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Team! Hope to see all of you again next year!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very Nice Resort!

Grand Bahia Principe Review We enjoyed our stay at Grand Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Check-in was smooth, it didn`t take more than 10 minutes to get our keys. Our two adjacent rooms were overlooking to the pool and the ocean. The view from the balcony was magnificent! We liked the variety of food at the buffet restaurant. Food were always plenty. The pool is very nice and the water was always clean. Lots of activity around the pool. The swim up bars were always busy. The property is huge but it was not a problem for us as we like to walk. The beach was decent. There are lots of lounge chairs. The shopping village offers variety of goods. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not like that there was a fee for the safe as well as they asked the photocopy of our credit card. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Royalton Blue Waters: Fabulous resort

Overall, this resort is a hidden gem!! It is a smaller resort that is easy to get around. My husband and I have stayed at White Sands for 4 vacations over the past year and then at Blue Waters for Christmas holidays and then most recently last week. ACCOMMODATIONS at the Blue Waters are very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Since it is a new building, everything is in good condition. FOOD/RESTAURANTS are excellent. They are very accommodating to those who have special food needs...ie.: gluten free selection, salad bar, fresh fruit, etc. The desserts are excellent. On Monday night the buffet is moved to the beach for a beach party and on Thursday the buffet is moved for a street party. The other restaurants remain open and have an excellent menu with a variety of cuisines. POOLS are well maintained and very clean. We spent our time at the adults only pool at White Sands. We found the pool at Blue Waters had a large number of children and they were permitted to swim up to the bar and sit there. It was very noisy. The bar staff at Dipps and around that pool is excellent. Be sure to visit Remone or Levardo for a dirty banana. They make some mean drinks!!! BEACH area is kept clean and is raked every morning and as needed. There are ample chairs for the guests to sit at either poolside or beach area. Overall, the employees at the resort are very accommodating and eager to please the clientele. They go beyond to meet everyone's needs and assure that everyone is having a good time. I would highly recommend this resortand we plan on returning in the near future.

Attended Feb 3rd to 10th Every staff member was friendly, talkative and goal oriented so each visitor was happy and had a great time. All amenities in close proximity from ocean beach, pool, restaurants, entertainment . Some really great entertainment staff with different activities daily, loved them. better beaches, up dated facility (broken tile in the bathroom) , staff needs to be a bit more pleasant they should be saying hi to the guests first not the guests to them , pool could be a bit warmer, slight change in the food in that it appeared to be the same thing day after day ,

Riu Reggae: Lovely resort

This is a lovely new resort. The staff is very friendly and they work very hard to keep everything clean and make you feel welcome. The evening shows are very good. This is a small resort so everything is very accessible. Take a cab ride with crackers from the cab station and enjoy a wonderful tour of Montego Bay. Only recommendation is that front desk staff take a tour of their own facilities to familiarize themselves with the location of rooms so as to give accurate information to guests.

Good bang for your buck. The staff went out of thier way to make you comfortable with everything. Food was good and the room was clean The only real problem I have with this resort is that you have to pay for the safe in your room. I would tell my friends to stay here

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Staff!

This resort is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I like to walk along the beach so this was not my favourite resort for that. I'm also not that picky when it comes to the food but the buffet was not great here. Mostly I miss the fruit! There was very little and no garnish for our drinks, ie lemons and limes. We did a 3-hour catamaran excursion with snorkeling and stopping at a Margaritaville. Can't say enough good things about that excursion. Secrets Wild Orchid: Fantastic Vacation in celebration of our upcoming 50th wedding anniversary

From the minute we arrived at the resort, we were catered to. Our room was extraordinary. The ocean was literally about 40 feet from the steps below our room. We found the staff to be helpful in all things. If we asked directions to a restaurant, they wouldn't just give directions they would actually walk us there. The hotel itself was beautiful and extremely clean. We did have an issue with the bed: it was too soft and not what we are used to. I suppose everything can't be perfect. Beach and grounds are very nice really enjoyed the island and the catamaran Buffet High lots of variety when buffet was closed you could always get a snack at three different locations really enjoyed the adult area and swim up bar in the anal area at the end of the beach there's a little market for locals very cheap but negotiate

Riu Reggae: Sparkling Clean

We really enjoyed our time at the Reggae. The grounds, rooms and restaurants were sparkling clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. Our only recommendation would be to have a nice chair in the bedroom for reading instead of the table and 2 chairs that were there. Also a place to hang towels in the bathroom after a shower.

Beautiful rooms, beach, water was great. Luxury side lobby was very clean Lots of variety at buffets but food lukewarm to warm Exceptionally friendly staff, seemed sincere Internet was free and worked quite well

Me and my girl friend had a great vacation. 5 nights. Buffets were excellent! Staff were very helpful sometimes a little to helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Gardens are beautiful.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Loved This Resort!

My children and I spent a week at Jewel Runaway Bay and loved every moment! The hotel was clean, the grounds were meticulously maintained, the restaurants offered every type of food you'd want, and the staff was amazing! I can't wait to return!
