JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Exceeded Expectations

Facilities, room, restaurants/food and staff were excellent. We have travelled to many all inclusives and believe this one is fabulous. Pool and beach area are lovely. The only negative was that I'm not sure the hotel has figured out the best system for making use of the butler service. They were always asking us if they could do anything but didn't offer to do something for us. For example, we made our own reservations at the restaurants simply because by the time the butler came around ,  [... read more]we had already done it. We also stumbled upon the wellness pool because friends had a massage and were informed about the pool at that time. The butler didn't mention this to us. I hope they sort this out because it was an outstanding vacation.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Great Family Vacation

This is our third (3rd) time in Varadero and first time with Iberostar Varadero we stayed in this hotel from December 10 to 17, 2016 occupying room 1251-1252. We noticed the following; 1. Checking-In is no hassle and the receptionist assist us to an open restaurant to eat as we checked-in around 11:10 PM. 2. Room is clean and the chambermaid did a very good job, outlet for charging my ipad is not working but the guest service immediately delivered portable charger.. 3. Restaurants: Japanese, Mediterranean and Parilla with good menu choices and the quality/presentation is Excellent. Buffet food is also good and the assistance of Yayi, Raimara and Jaima makes our experience more enjoyable.. 5. Swimming pool is clean, service at the pool is good, ground keeping is clean and all plants are healty and colorful. 6. Daily intertainment from Kids to Adults are good 7. I talked with the Guest Service Manager Yadiel and he is very accomodating and open to suggestions 8. I can strongly recommend this Hotel to anybody who wants to enjoy vacation in Varadero. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great staff

Overall, this was an awesome resort. The staff were so friendly and nice. The food was what ou would expect from a resort in Cuba. The only downfall were the subpar showers and the inconsistency in pool towel availability. But the friendly, over accoodating staff really made up for that. We'd go back for sure!

Grand Memories Cayo Largo: Love Cayo Largo

Was very happy with Sol Cayo Largo. Food was pretty good (by Cuban standards), rooms were comfortable and the beach is stunning. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Music/bands were wonderful. Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend particularly for mature crowd (40+).

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Fantastic destination

Once again my husband and I were not disappointed....third stay at Iberostar and second at the Lindo....service and property still upheld to the highest level..Rosario, kept our room immaculate and well stocked, all waiters, bartenders, ground keepers, kitchen staff, and Star friends entertainment go above and beyond....thank you also to those who work behind the scenes who help the resort run so smoothly....thank you for a memorable birthday

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Very Nice Resort

This hotel was well worth the money. Very clean and tidy. Food was good and had no problem getting dinner reservations. Ate one night at the dinner buffet and that was good. This is a family resort but you didn't see a lot of children at the restaurants. There is a great section of the Hotel especially for children with a mini waterpark and childrens activities. Drink service was available at the pool with no wait time. The crew running activities and entertainment worked very hard and did a fantastic job. The room cleaning staff performed their jobs consistently and we always had an abundance of towels, hair products, body lotions available. The room bar fridge was full with pop, beer and water. All bars throughout the resort had high end alcohol and cans of beer if you asked for them. WE left the resort to go to Sayulita on a half day trip arranged through the Resort. WE participated in some of the activities at the resort including the 10 am bike tour. It would have been nice to be able to sign the bikes out on our own but wasn't available. One day we went on a walk through the golf course; a nice change of scenery. I was able to exchange dollars for pesos at the resort. Trip to and from the airport was uneventful. The drive was about 45 minutes.

The Hotel was amazing.... the staff were very friendly, and so accommodating. They did anything to help make our stay the best. The hotel was very clean and spotless The food was amazing anything from the sit down restaurants to the buffets it had something for everyone. The hotel was child friendly. The only thing is that the evening shows were way too late at 9:30pm The children shows were from 8:30-9:30 they should change the time for the children shows from 08:00-8:45 pm then the [... read more] adult show after a long day we did not stay up to see any evening shows way too late The only things I need to share as a complaint are the following: The main pool the tiles in the water are damaged in many spots through out the pool and my son cut his foot quit badly. With the hotel being so nicely up kept I was shocked to see that they would allow the pool tiles to be damaged and not fix it. Also the other complaint was that the coffee at the hotel was terrible. They did not have cream for the coffee so I went without coffee for a week.

We recently stayed at this Resorted Dec 2016, we loved everything about it. The rooms were clean, the food was good, the Pools and beach was lovely too also the staff was very friendly and made your stay exciting. I would definitely go back.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great Value

Enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food was very good, lots of choice. The beach BBQ and cook outs were also very good. The grounds and lobby were nicely decorated with Christmas lights, very pretty. The staff is amazing there, they are very friendly and helpful.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: For spanish quiet couples

Great rooms, great landscaping, great beach, excellent food, excellent service and staff but.. unless you are a quiet couple who fluently speak spanish, like to only dance the salsa (no american music at all) and make (only) spanish couple friends, this place is for you! I've been to many resorts but never ever encountered such a small french and english community. Animation and pools are also average compared to the competition (poor night shows and no inpool bar). Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Iberstar santa Maria cuba

I was disappoint in the fact that the family pool was closed n we were not informed prior to getting after we paid extra. The hotel told us the families were limited to the first pool but every day there were kids st the swim up bar, one day it was so bad every chair was occupied by kids for over 2 hours. We struggled to get any resolution from either the hotel or Sunwing. After several days we bypassed the sunwing rep n went directly to the hotel manager. She finally upgraded us to the vi [... read more]llas that was beautiful n the beach was gorgeous. We had to pay for the upgrade n waiting now for our refund. The resort has beautiful rooms at the main hotel n the staff are extremely friendly n helpful.

The Iberostar Rose Hall suites Amazing place to stay. Booked with Sunwing The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the food was very good. I would definitely go back to Montego Bay Jamaica and definitely stay at the same resort IBEROSTAR ROSE HALL SUITES.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: very much at home here

we have been to your resort a number of time and keep coming back because the staff,from the check-in desk to everyone else treats their guests as if we were family. The beach is fantastic as well as the pool area, very clean. The food in the dining room is well presented and the dining room staff treat you well.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Great time with a few issues

We are a couple who stayed at the hotel during the week of December 5th to 11th. We had a good time and found the hotel beautiful however there were a few things which were not so good. First the room was very nice and modern however there is a seethrough window from bedroom to bathroom so you feel like you dont have privacy. If you are with a significant other its not so bad but we would have preferred the bathroom to be closed off completely. The pool area is very nice and clean. The beach area is also a downside since there is not much of a beach part its mostly a boardwalk due to corrals in that area. It was very different from other hotels we are used to in Cuba. We went a few times to Playa Pilar beach which was nice but gets costly after a while. Its 5 pesos per person to go and comr back and the chair is 2 pesos. Overall we had a nice experience at the hotel however we would prefer a bigger beach part. The food and service was very good at the hotel.

Hotel Mojito: Had a wonderful time

Was there for a week with my girlfriend and my daughter, we had "superior" rooms, 2216 and 2218, top floor with balcony and lovely view of palm trees. Could hear the ocean in the background. The adult pool and the beach were our two favourite places, the pool steps from our room, the beach a 5 min walk along boardwalks, quite fascinating. The food shack at the beach is great for fries and burgers. The beach itself is quite small at high tide but still wonderful. Fresh bread, eggs, omelets, pancakes, fruit, fresh fruit drinks blended to choice, yoghurts, etc. There is a cute little mini-mall a 10 min stroll away. Leave the front entrance and hang a right, you'll see it on the left at the first intersection. On the top floor beside a really nice souvenir shop is a money exchange. Go on a weekday although it's open 7 days per week. Exchange rate is better on a weekday. Hire a Chevy and the taxi driver will take you to Lenny's Bar, a quaint little place about 20 minutes away, off the beaten track, for excellent lobster (25$ US) We went on the "Cuba: Sugar, Cigar & Rum" tour, $75 US per person, money well spent. First a boat ride through the mangroves, then a stop at a pretty bar for authentic pina coladas and some salsa music, a horse and buggy ride through Moron (fascinating), and then BEST OF ALL a 20 min train ride to a sugar plantation. If you're lucky, like we were, maybe you'll be allowed to sit up front with the conductors in the locomotive?! It was amazing. Then lunch at the sugar plantation, back into the bus for a look at the crocodile farm. A full fun-packed day, back in time for a quick dip and dinner.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Resort!!

So we stayed at this resort the first week of December 4-8 2016, and I'd like to start off by saying that this was the best Cuba experience I'd ever had. The resort was absolutely gorgeous and well kept, the beach were pristine, clean white sand, zero seaweed, beach volleyball nets, paddle boats, and catamaran rides all included. The rooms were pretty nice, clean bedding and towels were replaced daily as well as bottled water. Fully controllable air conditioning is also inside every room. I' [... read more]d say the only issues i had with the room were the shower head worked fine and hot and cold water was available, but the shower head itself did not have a hanging attachment on the wall so you have to hold it whenever you wanted to use it. Issue #2 is the in room safe had an error code when we tried resetting the code number. We called the front desk to report the issues and they said they would send someone to the room, which they probably did while we weren't there. These issues were definitely not deal breakers and weren't really a big deal. And now the most important part.... The FOOD..... To my amazement the food was really good! In fact the best I've ever had in Cuba..... However, there is a bit of a disclaimer to that statement. If you're the kind of person who loves the variety of a buffet style breakfast lunch and dinner then you'll love the amount of options they have, unfortunately 90%of the options don't look very appetizing. The real All-star in the food court is the hot table, you can get freshly grilled steak, shrimp, eggs and fish or varieties of pizza fresh out of the oven and freshly made pasta. If you do stay here make sure you take advantage of the a la carte restaurants, we had the Japanese 2 nights in a row, it was the best meals we had during our stay. They also have the typical 24 hrs snack bar of fries, hamburgers and hot dogs. Overall, our experience at Langua Azul was great and better than expected, I would highly recommend this resort anyone!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Great experience!

Nice layout, all areas were easily accessible, reasonably compact. Dining areas were well laid out and convenient. Food was good quality and lots of choice. Staff in dining areas were helpful and friendly. Maids kept rooms nice and clean and were pleasant and friendly. Reception desk staff and bellboys were also very efficient and pleasant. The kids area was a big plus for parents and children. The beach was very nice, but be warned this part of the coast has a lot of surf! The stores in the [... read more] lobby area are nice, and we made good use of the cafe and lobby bar.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: YOU WILL WANT FOR NOTHING!!

We have been travelling to Mexico for over 20 years and have never stayed at any resort twice,last year we stayed at a very high end location just up the highway from this resort and had thought we would not find a better Resort, but the Iberostar Grand Paraiso has changed our minds. From the moment we arrived we were taking care of beyond our expectations, the staff is fantastic, from the grounds crew to the desk managers, your comfort and enjoyment is really a very important issue for them. [... read more] The food at the buffet is unreal, you do not need to eat at the restaurants. Lobster tails, steaks crab and everything else you can imagine are available daily at the buffets. This resort has made us rethink our never stay at a resort twice thinking, we would go back here without a thought. it is not the cheapest vacation we have ever had, but you will not regret staying here, so treat yourself and have the vacation that you will not soon forget. Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful Resort

The grounds, beach and pool were fabulous especially the pool. We enjoyed the Japanese resturant. The service was excellent. The wildlife on the resort were really interesting. The peacocks and parrots were beautiful.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Second time staying at this resort. It was awesome.

The hotel was very well maintained inside and out. The grounds were groomed and flowers beautiful. The staff were accommodating when we arrived in offering us another room. All staff very friendly from inside the hotel to the beach.
