Great time at Dreams La Romana

We had been to the Dreams La Romana in Nov 2015 also, so we knew what to expect. The resort is the perfect size for us. The service from all staff was terrific. We stayed 14 nights. Those staff with whom we dealt most learned our preferences and anticipated them. We stayed with the preferred club this time (as opposed to 2015) and in our minds, it was worth the upgrade. The resort itself was clean. The washrooms everywhere were clean. Staff are always doing something...there is no idle time. The beach was private so there was no hard selling by people. Water was clear. The water was calm. The staff are what really sets this place apart. I would definitely return for a third time.

Beautiful setting😊

Loved the beach and resort lay out . Staff were outstanding, went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. Food was good, Olio and French restaurants very good. Rooms were nice and very clean, but not well insulated, could hear noise and voices from neighbours. Need to employ a wrist band method to screen guests from using Prefferred bar and hallways- spoils relaxation for guests who prefer peace and quiet. Nightly entertainment is mediocre - loveusoc would be a great asset.

10***** Resort

This is by far the most beautiful resort my husband and I have had the luxury of visiting. The food is 5* all the way.......we can't stop raving about it! I will definitely be returning. Go Dreams Go!

Very good, but room for Improvement.

Dreams La Romana a lovely resort with plantation-style character, beautiful pools and a gorgeous beach with calm water that was wonderful for swimming, lounging and relaxing. Out from shore there was sufficient winds for good catamaran sailing. Our accommodations were comfortable, although we could hear the next room through the unused shared doors. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, certain staff were always in sales-mode trying to get you to buy services or future vacations at Amre [... read more]sorts properties. They were so persistent that after a while you just had to ignore them when they called to get your attention. We really liked not having to reserve for dinner. All resorts should do this. Food was typical all-inclusive with some great dishes, mostly average and some mediocre. The breakfast and lunch buffets were consistently good. Deserts were not so good – lots of spongy, gooey, sugary manufactured stuff. The puddings and ice cream were better. The house white and red wines were poor, the rosé better. They did have a decent wine list of Spanish and Italian wines for additional cost. They also have an excellent coffee shop. Overall a very good experience but definite room for improvement.

Amazing Place

Loved the resort. Beatiful grounds, nice rooms and facilities. Excellent personnel. A lots of different options for activities. Excellent restaurants and bars. Free Wi-Fi everywhere at the resort. Good entertainment!

Great resort

it is a great resort, its our third time here will come back again we have 8 year old daughter she had a grate time as well in kids club Entertament could be better.....................................................................................................

Just good

We stayed in Dreams for a week (Apr 29 -May 06 2015). Overall our experience are good with some drawbacks. To get a better picture I start with "not too good" aspects: Beach. Beach is small and overcrowded with loungers . Distance between loungers just few inches. We travel to many places in Caribbean region and never seen so crowded beach. Food. We seen much better variety and quality. I'd give it 6 of 10. We never left restaurant hungry during our week of stay there. Resort start to show it's age. Our room was good and clean with everything working properly. No problem there. People who work at the resort are nice and hardworking. Never had any complains about service.10 of 10. Perfect Vacation

Perfect! The food was great. Tried most of the a la cartres and enjoyed them all. The grounds were immaculate. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good snorkeling right on the resort. Will return for sure.

The Best of The Best

Just 45 mins drive from the Airport, on a great new road, Dreams really lived up to its name.
