Fantastic Resort!!!!!

We have been to this resort at least 8 times, from the moment you arrive at this hotel the service is excellent the staff are beyond helpful. The beach is stunning . No problems with black outs food or drinks shortages we had everything we needed what a pleasant stay. Janet at trip central is amazing to deal with could not be more helpful .

Relaxing and comfortable

The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. the staff are attentive to details and ready for any request. The food could be better for a 4 and half stars. The morning and evening piano music adds a classy touch to the comfortable atmosphere.

Beautiful resort

We enjoyed very much our stay. The beach is magnificent, turquoise waters, soft sand, plenty of shade. The swimming pools from very shallow to decent depth. We had upgraded to Luxury and it was totally worth it: we had a gorgeous swimming pool just for our section, right beside the entertainment at the big pool. Food was good, we had pancakes, eggs with vegetables, mussels, fish, amazing coffee. The staff was excellent: they always had a smile and were very efficient. The music at the swimming pool was very good and not too loud and at the Luxury section we had our bartender who brought us drinks and was very efficient. Fantastic Resort! 5 star quality!

My husband and I spent a week (7 days) at Playa Pesquero resort - Premium section (March 21 - March 28, 2025). First, if you're considering staying at this resort, Premium is the best way to go! Our flight was delayed 4 times and we ended up arriving to our room late. The room was massive and so clean! Our butler service delivered to us a late night meal because we were so hungry. The Premium side of the beach was less occupied than the regular side and we had no issues finding shaded places to lounge daily. The gentleman bringing us drinks was quick and friendly. When not at the beach, we spent time at the Premium pool, which also was less occupied than the regular side and the snack bar attached served amazing food (highly recommend the premium club sandwich). The staff at the Premium snack bar were so friendly! Our room was the best room we have ever stayed in while visiting Cuba! The outdoor shower was amazing and the jacuzzi tub was so relaxing after a day in the sun! My husband and I have been to multiple resorts in Cuba, but we are already planning to return to this one as soon as we can! Our stay was that great!

Been back many times we love this place!

I think this was my 6th time back to Playa, my parents have been going for 20 years and have taken us a few times and my sisters, and I have returned with them many times since. We went last year and for the first time brought my son, this year they are in much better shape staffing and food wise than last year. My 4-year-old had the best time and hadn't stopped talking about it since last year. Over 20 years, still love this place

Brought our grandson again, 4 years old, and had a wonderful week. Weather was perfect, food assortment was good and a trip to local animal shelter was worth the trip. Great event across the road with lots of food, drink and entertainment. We did the VIP to the airport on the return trip and got see Holgiun and enjoyed the air conditioning at the airport VIP lounge.

Fantastic resort!

We wanted to visit this resort for a long time and finally it happened in March 2025. We did not regret it, this is definitely one of the most interesting and most beautiful resorts in Cuba. The only complaint goes to the rooms, which would need to be renovated and the sleeping mattresses replaced. Also, the air conditioners feel damp and in some rooms they don't work. What I have to emphasize is the extraordinary food and the effort of the chefs and staff to please us despite all the difficulties and shortages that Cuba is facing. We will definitely come back at the first opportunity!

Beautiful beaches!

This my 4th time visiting this resort! The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Gardiners and maintenance staff are out and about trimming bushes and making improvements every day. The beach has calm turquoise water and its perfect to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and water activities. The food has improved since last year, more of a variety. The staff is very friendly! The pool area is clean and they also have water activities available.

Excellent Value!

This was our second visit to Playa Pesquero and definitely will not be our last. The property is well maintained, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff is so welcoming. The food was plentiful and delicious. We never wanted for anything. And of course, the beach is amazing. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre semaine de vacances au Pesquero. C'était la deuxième fois pour ma copine et la première fois pour moi. J'ai aussi un ami qui y est allé deux fois au courant des 3 dernières années et il a bien aimé cet hotel. Le vin offert au romantico était meilleur que les couteilles à 15$ ici au Québec à la SAQ. Merci ! Boissons : J'ai adoré les bar à café ! Les café espagnols, Bréziliens, hmmm et plein d'autres possibilités. Et merci de nous offrir du bon rhum de qualité supérieur à ce qu'on peut retrouver dans d'autres hotels. Chambre : Très grande et propre malgré qu'un peu défraîchie. Honnêtement, c'est bien correct comme cela. Aucun problème. La porte patio barrait bien et le coffre fort. On a toujours eu un beau service. Piscine : Super belle grande piscine pleine de courbe. Nous ne sommes pas des gens de piscine lorsqu'on est sur le bord de la mer (nous étions à la plage toute la journée). Cependant, pour marcher le jour ou le soir et prendre des photos, elle est magnifique. Et ceux qui aiment les piscines l'ont vraiment appréciée. Plage : J'aime les plages désertes où on se sent seul au monde... mais la Pesquero n'est pas ainsi. Plage où on retrouve pas mal de monde et de la musique omniprésente. C'est moins mon style. Cependant, tout le monde est gentil et est là pour relaxer ou socialiser alors c'est ok. Mais pas mon style de plage préférée. Baignade en mer : Facile, beau sable, rien qui pique les pieds. Snorkeling accessible facilement (qualité moyenne). Nous avons connu le magnifique snorkeling de Cozumel, Hawai, Philipinnes, Guadalajara... alors devant le Pesquero, ce n'est pas aussi riche... loin de là. Mais c'est tout de même mieux que d'autre endroits où il n'y a rien. Animation : Très bien pour ceux qui aiment cela. Il y a toujours une activité en marche et les animateurs sont plaisants et amusants. Ma copine aime ces affaires là... moi non. haha. je préfère la paix, le bruit du vent et des vagues plutôt que de la musique, de la voix dans le micro et des gens qui s'animent. Alors ça dépend des goûts. Mais pour ceux qui aiment cela, je trouve qu'ils étaient bons et plaisants. Nous ne pouvons pas évaluer les autres services car on ne les a pas utilisé (disco, spectacles, etc...) Overall : Semaine très appréciée et j'y retournerais sans hésité. Totally Recommend

This a great resort, beautiful grounds, lovely staff, stunning beach. Great coffee from the lobby and good cocktails. Huge pools, separated by a bridge. I would recommend this resort for everyone, families, couples and solo travellers.

Nice Resort and beautiful beach

Playa Pesquero is a nice resort, rooms are nice and specious, public areas are clean, food and drink choices are limited however you can always find something to eat or drink. Staff is very nice and friendly. What I liked the most is the beautiful beach for which I always prefer to come to Cuba. Overall we had a great vacation!

Top Knotch Resort

This being my first time to Playa Presquero it was a amazing time, exactly what I needed. As someone with a disability and traveling solo, I decided to upgrade to Luxury rooms for not much money extra. It was well worth it. With Luxury you get a personal team(butler's)that takes care of you. You need a ride around the resort call they will personally pick you up from your room and drop you off anywhere you want on the resort. If your sick/drunk/lazy they will bring food to your room for fre [... read more]e. You get 50% off of spa the price was so good I had a massage almost everyday. The staff and the masseuse were a 10 out of 10, they say they have a cold shower but it is Cuba cold shower, I would call it a cool shower. You get one romantic beach dinner for free of lobster, steak, pork, chicken and sides dishes cooked to perfection, you can also pay a small price to go any night you would like, again the price was so good, I decided if I wasn't at a a la carte I was eating there. You get 50% of laundry service, so I got them to wash my clothes, no laundry when I got back home from trip amazing, at way less of a price than I expected. You get a free bottle of rum which would cost atleast $50. Beer, juice and water stocked in your fridge everyday. The butlers brings desert to your room every night. The butler staff was amazing they went above and beyond the service I expected, there attention to details and customer service was incredible 10 out of 10. I have been to cuba 4 times this is the first all inclusive I've been to that is truly wheelchair accessible. I will definitely be back with my family. Beautiful resort!

This was our second trip to this resort and once again, extremely happy and grateful to have spent past week there. Staff make you feel like you are part of the family, lots of food and drinks and most of all beautiful turquoise water and sandy beaches! Highly recommend to everyone!!

Beautiful resort

Clean rooms, beach, dining area & all around. We enjoyed the service from the beginning to the start. Great entertainment provided especially by Juan who was patient with us learning how to dance, sing or even doing karaoke. It was our 2nd.trip to this resort & we will be back!

Beautiful Resort, Amazing People

Beautiful, clean, and the customer service is tops. This was our first trip to Cuba. Definitely going back next year. The only thing I would like to recommend is booking into the a la carte restaurants. The buffet is not very good. Thankful for their hard work on feeding such large crowds irregardless.

Great resort

The resort was great, staffs were friendly . Beach is beautiful and clean. There wasn't much shows or activities during our 7days stayed sadly. Food: there are lot of foods but some were good, some were blanc. Not much of fruits there, seems like they feed us what available from their growth. So we have papaya, pineapple , mango and some can fruits daily. Pool: pool there is for dipping, not swimming since they are only 1meter deep :). The room: even if this was state as 5 stars hotel. Great resort & Beautiful beach.

Playa pesquero is a beautiful resort. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The resort is massive and can probably accomodate 1000+ people. There is a good deal of walking. 2-7 mins from hotel room to beach for example depending on where your room is. As always with Cuba, you have to go with the flow for the food since there are always shortages. For example we had eggs for the first half of the vacation. Otherwise the food was good and you won't starve. Ice cream everyday, pasta [... read more], hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken pork and fish, etc. The beach here is especially beautiful. The water is not turbulent sue to where the beach is located which is great to swim in. You can snorkel ok one side of the beach and see many beautiful fish. The staff were all very nice. This is our 2nd time here and we will definitely be back. Note the bus ride is about 1 hour to get here, but it goes by quickly.

Pleasant surprise

I had been to Cuba prior to COVID and then returned in Nov 2022 In November I was shocked by the lack of Everything.
