Very elligent and food amazing

The only issue I had was the coffee in our room— Hard to get cup into slot until shown. Other than that amazing except for weather Thanks again Rod. Still Amazing

Back for sixth year over the same ten days, resort as always is beautifully kept, staff is above and beyond, food is good & rooms are excellent. That being said, there were signs of cutbacks this year, less staff, no newspaper delivery to room, no Distilled water (for CPAC) supplied for the first time, single reception desk in lobby of Building 70 vs two in the past, single hostess at breakfast causing either a wait or people taking their own table. Top Notch Resort

Best resort by far. The food was excellent. The rooms were well appointed and clean. The beach was beautiful. No complaints about anything . I would definitely recommend it without hesitation. Perfect size hotel

It’s ok

The resort is beautiful, rooms are nice. But for us wasn’t the a good experience won’t go back to an Iberostar. Was given a room on the main hallway so throughout the night and day you hear everybody walking and talking which kept us up most the evening which was horrible. Tried to get a different room but they wouldn’t allowed us to up grade because 40% of the better and quieter rooms, ocean front after left empty for there Iberostar premiere guest/timeshare. We had a horrible first day w [... read more]ith getting a bad room which was actually an upgrade quite pool view, do not get probably one of the worst rooms. Being pressured by staff to go the there timeshare presentation. We wants to get photos done but took 4 days to have someone actually there. Everyday when the butler staff sees you they hunt you down looking to get you things which when you do ask takes hours to get. We had a ask for more water everyday and was always a pain to get. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Well unless your retired the staff seemed to always be getting them everything

Fantastic resort!

Stunning resort with exceptional service. Great food, great entertainment and a wide variety of activities. All the restaurants we tried were terrific and offered great choices. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. The staff are kind and accommodating.

Amazing resort and even better staff and service!

We had a great stay at the Iberostar Grand in Quintana Roo. The food was excellent, beach was right there! And the entire place was clean and beautiful. It would have been a perfect vacation if we weren’t robbed...by the police! Stay away from rental cars and driving on your own. We rented a Jeep and one night we were stopped for a supposed road violation, even though I was just following traffic. I was stopped and no ticket was given. Instead the local police decided to try and extort $250 US [... read more]D from me. I was held in a police cruiser for 30 mins at the side of the highway at midnight with my wife panicking in our pulled over rental car as they tried to convince me to pay them the $250 right then and there in cash. We had just over $100 on us and they were then trying to get us to an ATM. They finally took what we had and then let us go. Yes. The police. The police in Quintana Roo México. Never ever going back to that country ever again. If you can’t trust the police who can you trust? They are criminals. Stay away. Too bad. The hotels need to get together and fix this problem. The police will drive them to bankruptcy eventually. Small mindedness is killing Mexico. Awful.

Superb incredible resort!

Fabulous beautiful perfection! The staff very happy helpful, beautiful grounds very clean and well maintained, rooms exquisite interior absolutely gorgeous. Amazing food so many choices creative displays. Awsome very large pools beautiful views lots and lounge chairs at the pools and beach. Can’t say enough good things about this resort.

The resort was very nice

The resort was beautiful and the grounds were also kept up very well at the Grand . There were 5 total hotels at this resort and the others were less than average also. The staff and service at the Grand was very good but the food was also below average and some restaurants took for ever to get your meal. Also the time share team was over kill and pushy at times when they heard the word no or not intrested.

Excellent Resort

The hotel was beautiful and the service was outstanding. Food was excellent. It was difficult to get reservations for the a la carte restaurants. They seemed to be fully booked every single night and the only times available were not suitable for us. When we complained to management about this, they made it work. We were able to get to try all the restaurants but I was just disappointed that I had to complain to management in order to secure the reservations to the restaurants. The pools were  [... read more]all beautiful although we spent most of our time at the beach. Lounges at beach were plenty and there was no problem to get beach huts. Although there was a wide expanse of sandy area, the actual shore had many rocks and seaweed, which was disappointing.

Excelente

Wonderful experience. This hotel gives you access to all their properties. Outstanding pools including wave pool, salt water pool and lazy river. Activities from gyms to spa to pool side to evening presentations were well organized fun and professional. Dance lessons with Sailin were amazing. Food was to die for especially the Italian restaurant.

Beautiful spot

Just spent a week at the iberostar grand .... the staff were an amazing crew that looked after you like no other ... hotel is beautiful and food was very good .the shows were very good , so much talent , & you could tell the staff was loving every minute of it ...hotel decor was stunning ... I wouldn’t hesitate to return ... it was a great week ....

Exceeded Expectations

A beautiful resort. Meticulously clean. Beautiful pools and gorgeous beaches. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The buffet was creative and always fresh. The alacarte restaurants were very good, as well. There were no crowds around the pool. This may have been because we went the second week in January, which is traditionally a quiet time for the resort. A perfect vacation. We will be going back.

The best vacation ever. Risently we return back from our vacation trip, adjustad with help of Tripcentral. It was above all expectations. Agents help was very professional, highly qualified. I recieved max information and good advices without waist of time, Plus price was very loyal. Hotel and service are exclusively good, above all our expectations.Definitely recommend it for vacation.

WE LOVE THE GRAND- AGAIN AND STILL!

We had been to the Iberostar Grand 4 times previous and also to the Grand in Jamaica and Dominican Republic. This Grand is the best! Staff and management are outstanding, food exceptional and the buildings are gorgeous! We had a room overlooking the tranquility pool and it was lovely. Room service is always on time and still hot! Exceeded Our Expectations

The resort is beautifully appointed in guest rooms and communal rooms. Restaurants were very good except we did not like the Japanese one. We were kept waiting for 45 min. before they started cooking and in the end the food was over cooked. The staff is very well trained and most helpful. We had Star Prestige upgrade and was very good. Every day they asked if we were OK or could they do more. Although we did not golf we were told that the course was beautiful. You get a complimentary roun [... read more]d with every 2 night stay if you have Star Prestige. This is the best all inclusive resort we have stayed and we will definitely go back.

Some call it a second home

If you are a beach lover it may disappoint primarily due to the Sargassum seaweed which has plagued the Mexican and Caribbean shores this year. The hotel works diligently daily to remove the weed to make the beach as pristine as they can However the service, facilities and food are excellent with three pools, access to an onsite gym and a new gym facility in the complex. Still Amazing

Fifth trip to this lovely resort during first week of November (BD & Myacoba Open), from when you first drive into the breathtaking grounds, the friendly greeting upon entering the resort, the staff, the service, the rooms all continue to leave us more impressed every year. Looking forward to see everyone again next year.

Beautiful Resort

This is our second time visiting the Iberostar property but our first staying at the Grand Paraiso. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing both at the buffet and the restaurants. The grounds were kept immaculately. The infinity pool was our second home and the bartenders at the swim up bar were amazing, always willing to create new drinks. It was my birthday while I was there and they brought me a special dessert at dinner. The maid also decorated our bed with rose petals and a "towe [... read more]l cake". The Butler, Jesus left a chilled bottle of champagne for us. We will be back !

Amazing Resort

We were a group of 7 and all of us were 100% happy with Iberostar Grand. The rooms were large and really comfortable. The maid service was quick and always left me a happy note as well as chilled champagne and a roses bubble bath. Our butler jesus was always checking on us asking how we were and if needed anything. The food was delicous! The lounge service was top line. Any drink you wanted with top of the line liquor. With popcorn! They would set them up and the chef would bring people dishes of paella.Umberto and Alberto who worked the pool bar always remembered what your drink preference was and even concocted a new drink for us called a Dirty Canadain in Mexico.We even order lemon drop shots at the swim up bar. Amazing resort!!!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso! This was our 4th visit and it never fails to impress. The food and the service was over the top! The facility is stunning and well kept. The entertainment is subtle but suitable to the feel and style of this resort. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
