Amazing experience

We had a fabulous time at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. The facilities were incredible and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach and pools were beautiful. Well worth the extra money to stay at the Suites rather than the other Iberostar property for families. Food was plentiful and fine (not amazing but satisfactory). Enjoyed the entertainment as well.

Highly Overated Hotel

Let me start with the positive, the staff and folks there were really nice, kind, and attentive to us and especially our children. The hotel was dark and old, really old. When we got to the beach on the first day it was covered in broken glass, big rocks, and discarded cups everywhere. The lunch bus food was cold, guys seemed stressed and not happy at all, fries consistently undercooked, jerk cold, burgers precooked and mushy. Our room was dirty there were cut fingernails everywhere, the toi [... read more]let was broken, the tub didn't drain, the toilet was busted and the toilet above us leaked and dripped on you while you were on the toilet, the veranda door was broken and did not lock and the couch was disgusting which had gosh knows what on it. The grounds were neat and nice. The pools and lazy river were falling apart, and dirty. Broken tiles everywhere. Out of the 3 times we got room service it showed up once. This was NOT worth the money we paid, even having access to the Iberostar Beach which in the end was a much nicer place. The food was okay, but not like my last stay at the Bahia Principe grand Jamaica. I wouldn't return to the Iberostar Selection Suites I honestly believe the reviews for this property are stuffed online.

Simply amazing!

It was a distinct pleasure to stay at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay in February 2022. The experience was very wonderful and excellent. Front desk and guest service were very helpful. Housekeeping had the rooms very well kept and tidy. The grounds at the resort are actually very beautifully landscaped. The food was very delicious (breakfast, lunch and supper). A la Carte dinners were exceptiionally tasty and the staff were very nice to us. Hands on manager (Rash) at the A la [... read more] Carte dinners was also excellent. We had excellent tours through JTL - Dream catamaran, bamboo rafting and of course 9 Mile (Bob Marley)!. JTL staff at the hotel were very helpful and supportive. We wish we could have stayed longer and, needless to say, we are already planning our return visit. It was nice to have the Covid testing on site and results were promptly available. All in all it was an excellent experience. Kudos to you all staff!!

Great time away…

Resort was beautiful, well staffed and food was delicious in both the buffet and other restaurants. The resort did a good job of balancing guest safety during Covid with the freedoms of resort fun. They had on site testing which was simple to book and results were back in 24 hours for our return trip home to Canada. Activity team was fun and welcoming with lots of activities for people of all ages.

Wonderful resort!

We just stayed at iberostar rose hall suites for the second time and weren’t disappointed. Large rooms, immaculate grounds, friendly service, lovely kid’s club, good food, great beach, always lounge chairs available, entertainment, no issues at all. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Amazing resort

Very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food at the buffet was great with a lot of choices also at restaurants was amazing food and drinks. Will go back to Jamaica at the iberostar rose hall suites. Beautiful

Beautiful Family-Friendly Resort

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites is one of the best family-friendly resorts I’ve stayed at in the Caribbean. This was our first time in Jamaica and we travelled during the first half of January. The weather was very warm, but on most days, the wind made it a little more difficult to enjoy lounging by the beach. I loved waking up every morning and being able to see a beautiful view of the ocean, the pool and the well-manicured gardens from our balcony. However, I do wish that the beds and pillows  [... read more]were a little more comfy. The buffet always had a great selection of food. For breakfast, we enjoyed a variety of juices from the juice bar, an abundance of tropical fruit, warm crepes and freshly made omelettes. For dinner, there was always fresh seafood, jerk chicken, flavourful curries and a variety of local vegetables available. The staff, the pool, the beach, the daily entertainment, the bars, the drinks and the amenities were all excellent. My family loved hanging out in the 24hr Café and visiting the Ice Cream Parlour at the neighbouring Beach resort. The view alone from the infinity pool to the oceanfront is enough to make you want to come back. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and stress-free vacation.

Loved it!

This is an excellent family resort. This is the cleanest resort that we have ever been to. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The food is excellent, and they remember you throughout your stay. Our room was lovely and as promised was ocean facing. Our daughter loved the kids camp and asked to go back every day! We will definitely go again, and again.

IRHS fantastic resort.

Not a single issue. Rooms outdated but spacious. Beds uncomfortable yet sleep worthy. Rooms cleaned twice a day - nice touch. Drinks, food, service, Iberstar workers 5 star. Beautiful gardens, pools and beach.

Wonderful resort

Loved this resort ! Staff was amazing , food great , very clean . Ocean view room was big with a huge balcony . Lots of chairs on the beach and by the pools . Would definitely return! Thank you Jairus Maus for another wonderful recommendation !!

Beautiful Property

We had a lovely family vacation at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. It is a beautiful property with lots to offer. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The food is overall very good (a few bland meals, but mostly delicious). Only area of improvement for me would be the speed of service - my sister ordered room service and it took over 2 hrs. Unacceptable. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Great Hotel

My family and I visited Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay for 6 days. For my review, I'm going to break down some key areas then provide my rating based on my overall experience. Property - my first impression of the hotel was that it was beautiful. The property is well kept by the attending staff and for a clean freak like myself that's extemely important. 5/5 Staff- the staff are friendly, some more than others. Some take their jobs seriously and some look and act like the [... read more]y'd rather be anywhere else. There was an African male front desk agent that went above and beyond for me and the gentlemen at the front desk are always welcoming. Some staff get what 5 star service means, others need some work. 4/5 Food - the food varies and I think it depends on the cook. Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes it taste bland. Not sure what's happening with the ketchup but it tasted watered down and the consistency was very watery. One chef had an actual ketchup bottle, which I appreciated. However, for the most part, there is a good variety of authentic Jamaican dishes, as well as American options. I recommend booking reservations to the various restaurants throughout your stay. Also take advantage of the Beaches restaurants. Their buffet is bigger and has more variety than the Suites. 4/5 Entertainment- from the organized activities to the nightly shows, this team delivers. Kevin Hart 2.0 is the perfect host. The Michael Jackson and Magic Shows were 2 of my favorites. The group is really talented and does an awesome job each and everyday. Tip: check out entertainment at the Beaches as well. Ex: if you can't attend a particular show, they may have that show available at the Beaches. 5/5 Pool Bar - I had to review these guys separately as they are all 5 star employees. I sat and watched their interactions with various guests, and to me, this is what 5 star service is all about. The team knew their "regulars" (including my 8 yr old son) and delivered delicious mixes, shots and drinks. They gave great recommendations and are always smiling, happy and entertaining. 5/5 Spa - this is a MUST DO! I highly recommend getting a sp treatment. Especially if you got resort credit and insurance. My masseuse was StacyAnn and she was fabulous. She knew the muscles and worked my body. The entire session was a whole mood/experience. 5/5 Guest Service - This is strictly a rating on Yosilda. I had an incident upon my first night and I shared it with the Assistant Guest Service Manager, Yosilda and she went above and beyond to ensure my situation was rectified and I was comfortable during the rest of my stay with personal daily checkup. She understands the meaning of "quality service, guest satisfaction and 5 star experience" 5/5 Overall stay - Although my trip started off on the rocky side, it ended very positively. The team at the Suites do have some work to do on small areas to truly make the experience a 5 star experience, however, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites. 4/5 overall rating.

Fabulous Resort!

This was our 7th time to Jamaica, we have visited many resort all along the North Coast, this was definitely one of our favourite places we have stayed. The grounds and public area were very well maintained, the beach was great we even got to go snorkeling right from shore. The room was spacious and the view was absolutely amazing, the food and friendly staff were outstanding. Our one little issue was the night we had booked the steakhouse for dinner we nearly waited an hour and a half for our d [... read more]inner, we never really found out why there was an issue. That being said we would absolutely return to this resort without hesitation.

Excellent Resort !

Resort grounds were clean and nicely manicured. Every area of resort was easily accessible. Lazy river was fun. Food was great & lots of variety. Staff throughout resort were all friendly , always approachable and made us feel welcome.

Amazing time

We had a great time, stayed there for a week met amazing people, staff are outstanding I honestly can’t say a single bad thing about the Jamaican people unreal attitude and hospitality, the resort is super clean, food is amazing, drinks are great in the restaurants, lobby & at the pool/beach,they have a good size water park for kids under 8 years old my son loved it (5 years old). I honestly recommend this resort and I will definitely be back there. If you would twist my arm to come up with a negati [... read more]ve thing I would pick the local merchants that swim up the beach to sell their local crafts or what’s hidden under the crafts, they really don’t bother anyone but I had to explain to my 5 year old what weed is cause he kept hearing them. I’ve been to nice resorts in Cuba,Dominican,Mexico & Jamaica & I would put this resort on top of the list.

Beautiful property

Great stay, the staff was really nice and helpful, what I didn't like was this smell of swer in my room 3420 , the smell was a turn off , I did address it with one of the staff and the smell when away that day, but two later the smell return , it was time for me to leave so I didn't request to be move , outside of that everything was very good

One of the best resorts I've ever been to!

Such a great experience! The staff were very nice, the hotel amenities were very impressive, and the restaurant and buffet were better than I expected! I'm fact it is hands down the best buffet I've ever seen. Rooms were very spacious and had great views. The pool and ares were great, with poolside waitresses offering drinks at every turn. My only complaint about this hotel would be that the "24hr" room service food was really below par. It was nowhere near the same level as the buffet  [... read more]or restaurants. Also it's worth noting that they do stop serving alcohol throughout the entire resort around 2am. All in all, it was my best all inclusive experience and I would recommend it highly!!

Increable Resort..Amazing Views!!!

Overall a top resort!! The grounds, facilities beaches and rooms were well maintained. The staff were amazing! the L la carts are not so good except the steak house it was really good. The Buffet was perfect breakfast, Lunch and dinner.. some stuff the same but a lot of different things each day. really enjoyed their jerk chicken and taco night. we were treated like royalty. Looking forward to go back with the kids next time!!! Thx for a beautiful first trip to Jamaica!!

Friendly and fantastic!!

From the moment we arrived to this paradise, every single encounter was beyond friendly. Genuine greetings and encounters with staff made our trip. Stunning lobby and amazing restaurants. Infinity pool was relaxing at times and entertaining. Entertainment staff were all involved with guests and made sure everyone was having a good time.
