Good resort

We were put in a premium room in building 2 I believe, room was right at the end closest to the 24hr snack bar. Room was nice, king bed was very comfortable. Cleaning staff were very good. Food at the buffet was decent. Had eggs and bacon 5 out of 7 days. Bread and pastries ran out frequently. Didn’t offer a huge amount of variety but always found something to eat. 24 hr snack bar ran out of buns/bread and French fries frequently. The pizza station would be “sold out” within a 1/2 hr of opening. [... read more] Alcohol was hit or miss all around the resort. Rum was plentiful. A la cart restaurants were ok but seemed like the same stuff at the buffet. The exception was the Asian restaurant Nagano, which was quite good. The pool area was really good, newer shaded cabana beds all around. The beach was fantastic although getting into the water was painful, lots of shells and old coral for the first 5 feet or so then soft white sand. No good snorkelling close to shore. No-see-ums were minimal as well as mosquitoes. The staff were very friendly and seemed happy.

Amazing beach

I stayed there with my mom for 7 nights. After the initial mixup with getting a room with one king bed instead of 2 beds as requested everything was pretty good. Beach is wonderful. Food was a bit repetitive but a lots of options to choose from. No shortages of food or electricity during our stay.Stuff was helpful and very friendly. Tips can get you more than you’ve bargained for. We were provided with a complimentary room to take a shower on the last day before leaving for the airport and we we [... read more]re free to use all amenities and eat even after checking out at noon. All in all very good experience and would definitely recommend and go back.

Very affordable holiday. Nice resort but needs some TLC.

We stayed here about 16 years ago and the place was very nice. On this return trip, it was obvious that Memories Flamenco is an older resort. It needs a complete paint and plaster job inside and out to the rooms and buildings to make them more up to date and fresher. The bed was very comfortable. Very good water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. Cleaning staff and serving staff were great and very friendly. Didn't appear to be any supply issues like last year.

Loved The Experience

The staff was wonderful. The food was good and the accommodations were good. We had excellent weather, and somehow under an embargo, there were able to provide excellent service. Very good value for the money.

Great time!

We had an amazing time at Memories Flamenco in Cayo Coco. All of the staff were amazing. Smiling and cheerful and willing to please. The room was a little dated and we had only warm water. Our building only. But that doesn't bother me I know what to expect. There were renovations going on to modernize the resort which is a great sign. The beach as always was amazing. Plenty of non alcoholic drinks too. The only thing that I would say, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with the resort in particular as a whole, is to be leary of some guests. We had an issue a couple nights. So I say this to any single travelers and youngsters, you're not in Kansas anymore and believe your instincts. Be leary of strangers who approach you. All in all I would 100% go back to this exact resort

Good resort

we had a main floor suite in building #2 with a fabulous ocean view. Ample hot water, AC working throughout our stay, excellent maid service and daily supply of water pop and beer. Food was adequate although repetative. Bread, butter and eggs/bacon every day. Although we had booked Premium , we found no real advantage. Premium drinks were limited, premium breakfast and lunch was inferior to the buffet although in a more relaxed atmosphere. Service was great. Great Resort

The staff are so friendly, great food and plenty of it, beautiful beach, lots of activities to get involved, including games for adults and kids. Great pools, fresh beach towels daily. They are currently renovating so there have been some issues reported on rooms but if your like me you wont be in there except to sleep and shower. Great shows every night. Will definitely go again.

Easy and relaxing

Memories Flaminco beach resort 1. The people are friendly, helpful, and connecting. 2. The food was very good. I enjoyed the variety and they still make fresh fruit smoothies. 3. Great Resort

The Hotel was good, clean and had good service. Grounds very clean and amazing landscaping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was awesome, great shows with very talented performers. Beautiful beaches.

Awesome resort

It was amazing,the staff are so friendly. The rooms are clean,no bugs.the pool was so beautiful and clean.the beach was totally beautiful. The entertainment was phenomenal. We didn't have bread for 2 days.but we had food the whole time

Great vacation

We had a very good stay at Memories Flemenco. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. The beach was amazing. You can walk the beach for miles or lay on one of the many loungers on the beach. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. The food is very good and lots of it. We had a great vacation at Memories Flemenco.

Amazing older resort

We are just back from a 11 day stay at this resort. Our stay was great eventhough it is in need of some upgrades the staff is fantastic. The owners are in prossess of spending lots of money renovating on many fronts. We did experience some shortages with food and some drinks but overall the food was not bad....we did'nt starve. The beach was fabulous!!

Just wow!

This was an amazingly clean resort with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food was not like the typical Cuban fare you would expect, it was like being at a high class Toronto resort. Tons of seafood, tons of everything! My room was immaculate. The toilet didn’t work a couple of times, but was fixed so quickly each time I notified the customer service people. Loved this resort!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The staff we amazing. The grounds were emaculate and so well kept. The food was normal for Cuba. We never went hungry. The rooms were clean. The hotel was a perfect size so you didn't have to do an abundance of walking. Some shells on the beach when walking into the water. Bring water shoes if it's a bother to you. They can't exchange change (loonies and twoonies). Don't bring it. Use $5, $10 and any amount of your choice for Tipping in Canadian. However, if  [... read more]you want to tip smaller amounts, bring $1 American bills. Staff kept asking me to purchase their change because they can't use it. So it's a waste of money for them, and a waste to you. Pool bar had pizza, sandwiches, and fries.

We had a great Vacay

We had a great vacation, beginning with our flight being comfy and on time. Snacks offered on board Sunwing were good although there is a limited in selection. Memories Flamenco in Cayo Coco is my new go to. Staff is incredible, food was tasty, plentiful and great selections in the buffet. Pizza at Bites was amazing. Can't beet the Ron Punch! Pool was stunning and always clean, beach ... Spectacular!

Another fantastic trip

Everything was amazing this time around. Had a great junior oceanview view room on first floor in building one. Communication with the resort was flawless. All our needs were met. Great atmosphere. Nightly entertainment with theatre and saxophone player. If you want the disco there is cave club on sat (15 min bus ride) and Wednesdays, or u can go to disco close by, 2 mins by bus. Your fridge will only be stocked if u upgrade to premium. I bought wine from duty free to keep in my room. They do provide water everyday in your room. Definitely going back. Price is great for what u get. The ambassador dinner and Hemmingway was so nice, thanks for the invite Santa. Please understand and respect what the Cuban people are going through with shortages. Good memories of Memories Flamingo

The property is well maintained with well cared for gardens.our room was cleaned daily and we had a lovely view of the beach from our terrace. The staff are friendly at both the dinning room and pool side. The coffee bar was excellent. We loved Cuba day! Because I have mobility issues I was greatful that I had all the help I needed from all the staff. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation in Cayo Coco, Cuba

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!!

This resort has really upgraded itself. The entertainment staff is something else!! They never stop going, always have games, competitions that are kid and family friendly. By the pool, on the beach, lobby. They don't let the rain stop them - they move it all to the lobby. Their games and competitions last a long time, anyone can join and they go around encouraging people to join. They have a simple but fun dance they teach to all the guests. A special shout out to Yali, Yude, Johnny, Chicky and that's only to name a few. The painter Eric is always working hard for the next set up /taking down. The amount of costume changes throughout the day and shows always keeps you guessing. The DJ was receptive to what kind of music people want to hear. Some activities included balloon toss, coloring flag, mini spa for kids, teaching dances, ORANGE PARTY WAS EPIC, games with parents, musical chairs, mini cars for kids, boys vs girls for adults by the pool. A wide range of kids games, adults games and family games. EVERYTHING was appropriate for kids. The bar staff (shout out to Yoyo, Paco) knows your drink, pays equal attention (if not more attention) to kids and helps them right away, is patient with them. Pools were very clean, grounds cleaned, glass cleaned right away. The maid Staff in the rooms were always busy, kind and smiling, sweet. The nightly shows are amazing for adults and the kids were just mesmerized by the dancing, singing, and costumes. The best I've ever seen. Reception is easy, friendly and no issues. They speak excellent English so any issues can easily be solved (we had no issues whatsoever) The rooms were clean, no mold, hot water, never got yelled at for leaving the patio door open (grand muthu would get mad). One early morning my husband left to get coffee and left our door slightly a jar where it didn't latch. A gentleman worker knocked to make sure everything was OK (it was super early) and I felt that he was watching out for all the guests as normally the door would be closed if no one was in there so wouldn't want anyone to break in or people could be sleeping with a door slightly open. Made me feel safe that they're always looking out. I went for a run early morning and ended up at the back of the resort, the gardeners even work hard when no ones watching. The grounds are immaculate and they are always smiling, saying Hola. They are friendly, always offering a coconut but ask once and that's it, not pushy at all. Every person who works here is always smiling, talks to my family , especially my kids and pay attention to us and seem to actually know and care for their guests. The food was plentiful and the chefs are funny! Never saw bugs, flies or cockroaches anywhere. Very clean. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone that is looking for entertainment, and/or with kids. A group of rowdy young adults may not fit with this vibe. This resort has only gotten better each time we visit. In fact, we're looking to get Married there in the next upcoming months. Signed, One Happy Family !!

Another excellent stay

This was our 4th time at Memories Flamenco. Outstanding beach, food is good, staff are excellent (Janet in the Lobby Bar, and Limay in Diamond Club restaurant were standouts in particular). This is Cuba….. beautiful people, beautiful land, beautiful ocean. Unbelievable value for the money,
