Amazing Resort!

This resort is amazing!!! The food is fantastic, best I've ever had at a resort. The buffet was so good, we didn't even eat at the restaurants. The staff here are so attentive and happy, they always wanted to help. I travelled with my 1 1/2 year old son and this resort is perfect for families with young children! The kids club is great, lots for my little guy to do. The staff were so good with him, even in the restaurants! The room was really nice! We had the master suite and it was perfect for  [... read more]our child, as the bathroom was in a room separate to the main bathroom, so we were able to make this his room with the crib the hotel provided. I would go to this resort again and again, I highly recommend it for parents looking for a resort that is both luxurious and child friendly!

Beautiful resort but...

The resort was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The rooms were beautifully appointed. The food was quite good on the whole although probably not the island you want to have steak on. I would recommend sticking with fish as its fresh! We have a 2 year old and they have so much for kids to do. Very kid friendly. This is why we chose this resort. One huge caveat though and I think the resort didn't address properly. They're too afraid to offend guests. There were a couple of people in the k [... read more]ids area and even in the kids pool smoking!!! Staff did ask them to stop but they continued. I understand that the resort is not a non smoking resort but they NEED. To make kids area and pools non smoking. Anything less is an insult to parents with young kids that can't swim in other pools. Frankly this is a deal breaker and as much as I liked the resort I won't be back. Frankly I may not return to DR if they are so smoker friendly. This is beneath our standards.

Exceptional resort....the reserve

I have travelled to many locations in the Caribbean....but nothing compares to this resort. The rooms, gardens dining is truly worthy of this resorts five star rating. The staff that we had the pleasure of meeting made this holiday an unforgettable experience. I assure you I will not be going anywhere else but here in the future. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff at trip central recommending this location. It was spectacular

Nice place

Amazing staff...food and drinks are awesome. Property seems a bit dated for a luxury 5 star but is not bad. Overall great experience and a fantastic holiday and we would highly recommend for people who want to visit

Exceptional Resort

3rd time to this amazing resort and once again we were not disappointed. Staff are amazingly friendly and always ready to assist you in any way. Grounds are exceptionally clean. Food is amazing with many options to choose from. Rooms are spacious with all the amenities one would expect from a true 5 star resort.

Amazing Family Vacation

This year we decided to kick off our Summer vacation in Punta Cana. This was our second trip to DR. We opted for the Reserve Paradisus Palma Real due to the good reviews it had. We we were there from June 5th to June 12th. All I can say is that this resort is the best resort we have stayed at. The staff is very friendly, pleasant and respectful people. The Gabi Club buffet is kind of small, but you will always find something delicious to eat. Our favourite restaurant was the Hydro Grill next to the main and kids pool. We also tried the Aqua restaurant which has an elegant/classy ambience. The food there was excellent. There's also the steak house, Rare which was delicious. We also tried Fuego which was okay. Our least favorite restaurant was the Mexican restaurant. The food was edible, but wasn't that great. The facilities and pools are really clean. The rooms are spacious. The rooms have the set up of a small apartment. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the resort so this is also a plus. My only suggestion for this resort is that they need to update the reception area. It doesn't have the feel of a high end resort. Some of the furniture there needs to be upgraded. I would like to thank Freddy for helping us with our a la carte reservations. This was truly appreciated by my family and I. I also like to specially thank Yaneira Saldaña for been such a sweet person. She always had a genuine smile to offer. And truly cared about customer satisfaction. She always made sure we were taken care of while eating at the Gabi Club. It was a real pleasure meeting her. We actually felt like we were leaving a family member behind when we said our goodbyes to her. We missed her warm smile. We really hope to see her back. Fabulous Resort!

A wonderful place to kick back, relax, rejuvenate and just have fun! Excellent selection of restaurant styles and cuisine, including great buffets...definitely something for every one! All the staff were wonderful!

What a wonderful, luxurious place to stay!

We could not have had a better holiday than we did! Our room was spectacular, service was one of the best, and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend this resort to friends, and we will definitely be back!

This is THE RESORT you should stay at.

I had the BEST week at the Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. Going in, I wasn’t convinced that the upgrade to the Reserve section would be worthwhile but after experiencing it I can say it’s the ONLY way to go! The resort was beautiful (both the Paradisus and Reserve), the food was great (I think I gained about 10 lbs), but what made this trip for me was the service. It’s a huge and spacious resort yet you can’t walk more tha [... read more]n five steps without passing a nice lounge/hangout spot by the pool, by the bar, at the beach, in the lobby. It’s as though every spot to sit is the “best” spot so you never need to stake out a good spot like at some resorts. The Reserve is the ideal spot to relax. There’s lots happening in the kiddie area for young families and the rest of the areas on the reserve tend to be quiet and relaxing. There is always plenty of staff around and they go out of their way to get anything you want, all you have to do is ask – at times you don’t even need to ask! If you’re looking for something a little more lively, just head to the main part of the Paradisus – the open air bar is beautiful and there’s lots of live entertainment/dancing. The lobby bar has a really impressive cocktails, and the disco goes strong. Buffet on the Paradisus side was awesome, buffet at the reserve side was good for a quick stop, restaurants were awesome, grill by the pool on the reserve was great (the cooks there are really fantastic). Room service is included – don’t be shy to ask for champagne with your room service breakfast! Service – VIP all the way! We arrived in the evening without any dinner reservations and the hostess, Angela, took care of us. The concierge service at the beach was amazing, big thanks to Ornando and Wilken who not only kept our drinks filled but also accommodated beach seating for our group and continued to move chairs over as needed. At no point in our stay did we need to carry around a towel card – the staff always made sure there were towels available to us. Thanks again to all the staff who really made our stay a vacation to remember.

Absolutely beautiful!

The hotel itself was amazing! It was clean & comfortable. The beach needed to be raked a few more times because there was a lot of seaweed. The food was good. I wouldn't recommend the extra restaurant called Passion. Wasn't worth the money. Staff was friendly & very helpful. If you're coming with a big group expect to be split up at the restaurants. They ca not accommodate over 15 people.

Heaven on Earth

This resort is over top only if you book your stay at the Reserve section. From start to finish the staff at this resort don't leave you wanting for anything. From 24 hour room service. Top shelf brands of liquor. Champagne & Lobster all you want. Food is better then most restaurants in major cities. Room's at the reserve are min 807 sq feet suites. Luis at the Main lobby and Ronnie Gomez at the Reserve lobby are amazing bartenders.

Great holiday and a great resort

Beautiful property, good food, friendly staff. The staff on the beach are very helpful. Hector on that staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant bookings was a little bit of a challenge, everything was always booked up.
