Love the Palace!

Hotel was spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful as usual. Third time staying there and upgraded to ocean front overlooking Lime pool and bar! We’ll definitely be back to this piece of paradise!

Fun resort

We stayed for 1 week in a courtyard room. The service, food, activities and music were all outstanding. The rooms, lobby, grounds and public spaces were sub-par. Very outdated and unappealing, small and crowded, but fun can still be had without the beauty. And everything was clean. The weather was excellent, the beach was adequate. The grounds and plant life were dull and dry. Overall we had fun due to the great weather, entertainment and yummy food and drink however we would not return.

COVID

The hotel had hand sanitizers available throughout the resort. Mask were not required, nor worn by anyone, with exception to a few staff kitchen workers. No social distancing was enforced. The hotel was very clean and staff was always seen cleaning floors, windows of doors, public washrooms, beach chairs and beds. Very poor beach

Beach certainly wasn’t how it looked in their pictures. Very rocky on the way to the beach and only 15 feet of shallow water before you get to the muck. That was only the bad part other than the weather. Food, service and staff we all top notch. Room was good with a large shower area. Very close to the airport.

First time to this resort not our last

Absolutely beautiful. We have travelled for many years staying at different Riu Hotels. 15 out of 10 on everything. Food excellent rooms clean grounds amazing staff 15 out of 10 very friendly and always wanting to serve you on every wish. Great resort

Food was exceptional, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet are excellent, presentation and taste was top notch. Smaller restaurants were also very good. The best thing about this resort is definitely friendly and super efficient staff, at the Aqua bar Renaldo, Winston and Gregory and bartender Ren were amazing. Lots of hand sanitizers all around and clean surroundings everywhere. Beach was clean however would need some improvement.

Loved every minute

This resort has it all it's a quite resort but it has night life till 11 and if you want to carry on the party you can go to the 2 resort beside them, it's a bonus to staying here they can't come to yours but you can eat and play at there's...the food is also amazing, lots of variety even for the pickiest of people, rooms are nicely decorated in white and purple huge showers and a jetted tub...the absolute best part is the staff from Dr. Phil for breakfast and lunch to Paul at the aqua bar at ni [... read more]ght. Great Resort!

The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows, not so much.. The grounds, beach and pools were all very nice. The staff and food was great, except for the coffee. The coffee was very drinkable, just not my favorite.

A top of the line resort

Top of the line in all aspects. the ambiance and conditions of the hotel and rooms was excellent. The food and special restaurants was also excellent. The staff was most accommodating and pleasant to everyone and well trained. We would not recommend the all day trip by boat and bus to see the sun go down and scuba dive.

I would not return here

Rooms and staff well done. The beach could have been kept cleaner of seaweed. Food is plentiful but the chef has never been off of the Island and has no Idea of international cuisine. Montego bag in general is not my favourite place due to the proximity of the airport and the relatively small beach.

Amazing Resort!

Loved almost everything about this resort. The quaint property. Not too big. Not too small. The friendly staff. The not so over the top decor. Everything you needed. I would go again and certainly recommend.

Great resort

This resort was wonderful. the service was amazing. The food was endless and tasty. The rooms and facilities were always very clean. Lots of activities throughout the day. Couldn’t ask for a better vacation.

Excellent resort

Everything was perfect including staff,food beach and cleanliness. Absolutely no complaints . The room was beautiful and staff were very friendly . I would highly recommend this resort and would return again for sure.

Great resort!

The RIU Palace Jamaica was a great resort overall with fantastic staff, diverse dining options, access to RIU Reggae and Montego Bay facilities and restaurants, and great location from airport. There was a minor issue with our room the first night and after talking with our Sunwing rep we were upgraded from our room at no charge. All staff was friendly and attentive to our needs as guest. Would definitely consider this resort in the future.

Gorgeous place

The hotel was gorgeous! The food was very good The weather was perfect Friendly staff Very clean I don’t really have too many negative things to report. The entertainment was lacking, they didn’t really have too many shows or events. The staff were young and catered to their generation. The resort mostly had an older crowd, and I felt as though they should of accommodated all age groups.

Room WITHOUT a view

Beautiful hotel BUT there is a 40 foot wall separating the hotels. My view was the WALL. no water, no green, not even a palm tree - nothing but WALL. I did complain and was moved the 2nd day. Beach service was hit and miss. Towel service at the small pool opened at 10:00 a.m. not 8:00 a.m. The buffet was ok nothing spectacular but enough variety. Ala carte restaurants were SMALL and dark. As a single person travelling it was too intimate and dark. DENA the server at the buffet restaura [... read more]nt - morning and lunch was FANTASTIC - very attentive. For those who smoke, there is a small area which had overflowing ashtrays and empty glasses every time I went by. Turn down service happened 2 x during my 10 days. Sugar/stir sticks in the room were not replenished. there was supposed to be a "breakfast order form" for room service in the room each day. I saw one, asked for another and never got it. Also there is no hospitality room for changing before flying out. Just a room with two showers and sinks. NO Privacy at all. I will go back to Montego Bay but will choose another hotel.

Excellent resort

Riu Palace was very nice resort Everyone and everything was spectacular weather was great all week great selection of places to eat and staff was helpful courteous rooms were very clean overall a very pleasant holiday

Good Choice

This resort was everything we had hoped. Pleasant, efficient staff who were helpful and happy. Immaculate rooms, well cared for grounds. Four restaurants and a fantastic buffet all above average.

Riu Palace Jamaica

This resort is the most friendly & clean I have ever stayed at..Hotel staff very accomodating- I broke soap dispenser they sent maintenance right up to fix Grounds very beautiful & well maintained.Buffet could hAve a little more variety.Restaurants have a nice choice to choose from although I would like to see an authentic Italian restaurant. Beach is small but never have to wait for chairs.I would recommend Riu Palace to friends & family.

Great Adult Resort

This resort is one of the best we have been to. Five minutes from the airport; great food, excellent entertainment; very friendly staff; rooms always immaculately clean. We will definitely go back. Many thanks to my travel agent, Judy Donaldson, for helping me, once again, to enjoy the best of vacations
