Can’t wait to go back

All were 5 star Staff were all wonderful, helpful, friendly Nothing was too much trouble for staff to get what we asked for. We could go on trips or stay at the hotel whatever we felt like doing. Food was divine, especially the fish.

Will be back a third time!!

My sister and I have been to this resort before, this was our second time visiting. The place is clean the beach is good, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. The bartenders and waitstaff take great care of you.

Fantasitc time!

Hotel itself was probably pretty old but well cleaned, well care of the garden, no damages in the building, no garbage on the floor, beach or pool side. Staffs are friendly and very fun entertainment every night. Food taste was amazing every meal. Good size of private beach. I was happy to choose Sea Garden hotel!

The trip of a lifetime

Small hotel, every one there came in on Monday afternoon, so we were a group of French speaking Canadians and we spent the whole week with each other. the room was nice and clean, maid service perfect, the food was good, but variety could have been better. the guys who entertained us were so friendly. when I go back, I am booking the same hotel again. its like entering Cheers, and everyone knows your name.

Wonderful Resort

This was my second time 'home'.Everything about this resort is good.The grounds are well kept. Their private beach is clean and well maintained.It is a smaller resort which results you going as a stranger and leaving as part of a family.The staff are all friendly and engaging. Be an little bit older resort you may say that the rooms are a little tired looking,but I found the rooms spacious, bed comfortable and cleanliness was a priority.It has become like coming home.Food was excellent.

Loved this resort

My husband and I been to sea garden beach resort Jamaica for our second time we love everything about it.The service was great and Michelle was awesome food was very good every one is so friendly and helpful hope to be back soon 😆

Clean but overpriced Resort

Small Resort generally quite clean all round. Very limited beach area with no water sport equipment and separated from the Hotel by the road passing through. Entertainment is poor and non-existent on the beach. Food is decent and tasty, small variety though and can be repetitive. Only one A-La-Carte dining BUT you have to pay extra!! (empty throughout the 7-days we were there). Room furniture and upkeep is quite dated!

Great resort

Sea garden beach resort is a great resort. The staff from front desk to housekeeping, dining room , and activities are very friendly and helpful. The resort is very clean and the food very tasty and a good variety. We would like to thank Lisa and Nadia in dining room, Rose in housekeeping who kept our room clean. Excellent Resort

My husband and I just got back from a 7 day all inclusive stay at Sea Gardens, Montego Bay. We were extremely happy with the resort. Our room was extremely big and clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the nightly entertainment was awesome. The food was extremely good - especially the homemade soups. One thing I would recommend though would be a selection of cheese. Overall, I would certainly recommend this resort and would certainly go back.

Loved this resort.

The Sea Garden Beach Resort was everything that we wanted. The food was plentiful and there was lots of choice. The standard room was very large and the housekeeping staff kept it very clean. The pool area was great with plenty of lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs. The beach was amazing. There were different areas which were man made and there were also areas where we were able to snorkel. All in all, it was a great holiday.

Fantastic time at Sea Garden

I had a wonderful relaxing time at the Sea Garden Beach Resort in Montego Bay. Warm welcoming staff, good food, sun and surf. Special thanks to T-Rex for a great time. We were given first rate treatment and and can't wait to return in the near future.

Incredible vacation

Small but beautiful. Very safe and family friendly. Our children loved the activities group. The beach is outstanding. Small but always a space to sit. The snorkelling was amazing. We would go back again.

Amazing resort!! - great people :)

When we first entered the hotel and noticed the beach was across the street we were apprehensive. However, once inside dealing with the staff we were quickly changed for the better. Wayne in the dining room was an absolute sweetheart, the bartenders Staintan, Martin and Presley were amazing and always eager to help. If you are looking for a party place this is not your hotel....If you are looking for family oriented and a relaxing stay than this is for you...Just a few steps away there is shopping at the "HIP STRIP"

Awesome Resort!

I had a truly amazing stay at Sea Garden Resort. The staff were excellent. So genuinely kind and helpful. I love the fact that we had our own private beach and everything was kept so clean. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. One of my best vacations ever!

Dont get too excited

very poor front desk. fantastic wait staff, ok edible food some days.small but ok beach area great beach bar to be honest it takes more than great staff to make a resort for my full review go to trip advisor. I am maccorban

Charming old world Jamaica

Returned to the SeaGarden again this year. Staff and food were excellent. Thank you Shanika! :) Disappointing was being banned from the cove side beach for a private all day affair. Sunday's buffet was the most badly handled meal with terrible line ups, food and plate shortages. However the hotel did an excellent job accommodating those unable to leave Monday due to cancelled flights. Special thanks to the gentleman who took us to see the Macaws and Blue. Hope to see you next year!

Old resort reopened!

This Resort was terrible, it would not suite many vacationers who are used to a real resort. This is an old resort which was closed for 13 years and re-opened about a year ago or so. It appears money is not being spent on the resort, lacking beach and pool towels, cushions for beach chairs, toilets constantly running, patio doors have broken locks, lack of fruit for drinks, no bandaids etc. The management was awful, dishonest and ignorant. You may be searching for your own cutlery to eat with at this resort. I would not recommend this resort, it is not worth the savings. The positives: The yard was kept clean. Some staff were exceptional, the pool attendant was excellent for service considering he was working with a shortage at the pool. The manager for the food was above exceptional dealing with guests. Wayne the server was excellent. He is a server in which other servers should inspire to imitate. The rooms were slightly below average, BUT the toilets constantly run!!!!!!!!!!

Nice place to stay for first time visit

One needs to remember that this place is still under construction. Not everything has been upgraded yet so there is much that would should be improved. Basically I had always wanted to go to Jamaica and this was priced low enough that it allowed me to visit. I'm glad I went, this hotel served its purpose for me and was good enough for the most part. If I ever return I would not stay at this place a second time but it was good enough for a first time. The management seems like they do care and are actively working on service, as an example we noticed a handful of servers the first few days that were rude and fairly lazy (when you requested something is seemed like you were putting them out), by day 4 these people were let go and replaced by new employees that had a really good attitude and made the atmosphere much better. I asked one of the managers and they confirmed that they replaced the workers and that they were not just on days off. That being said it was not the best place I've stayed at by a long shot. Food - Let me start by saying I'm not picky when it comes to food at resorts. If I can find a couple of items I can eat daily then I'm happy enough. Their diners were great with usually 3 choices for meats and amazing salad (I'm not a big salad guy but went back numerous times for more as everything was so fresh and full of flavor). On the other hand it is the worse breakfast setup I've ever seen. Almost nothing was edible. I ended up eating yogurt and cereal boxes (well the cereal and not the boxes). It wasn't until one of our last days that we found out you could request an omelette to be made for you, next to no one knew this. Lunches for the most part were decent, nothing great but you could eat. Not much in the way of eating or snacks between diner hours, you could request a burger in the afternoon but they didn't seem too fond of making them. Rooms - Nice and Clean. We had an ocean view with small balcony and it was nice to sit in the morning and watch everything start for the day. NO COFFEE makers, would need to run down and get a coffee and bring back too room, no stocked fridge either, meaning not even water. As far as water - water pressure was something to be desired, to the point that at times the water would stop for a moment when taking a shower and for the most part there was no hot water to speak of, not that you really needed that much hot water but it would have been nice. The bad thing with the ocean view was that this resort is along a main road that runs between the hotel and the beach. So at night you could hear everyone blasting music, racing, and partying, the doors to patio were not sound suppressing in the slightest. Also not really sound proof between rooms but never had an issue with this when there. Beach - Not much for a beach area but what they had was really nice and felt like you were in your own little private area. From what I could see this was the same for most resort beaches there until you went high end. I really enjoyed the beach area and they were working on construction and upgrades for the beach at the time. I've seen some reviews complaining about the planes landing and flying directly overhead but this really was not an issue at all, meaning it happened but there are only so many flights a day and it did not take away from the beach experience at all. Bars - Service was very slow for most part. Really only one bar serving the resort. The staff were caught between providing service and trying to be friendly. They really needed a second bar open or at least another 2 staff members. But you learn to order multiple drinks at a time. For the most part not much for variety in the booze dept either. And this is coming from someone that doesn't really drink.

Quaint Resort

The Seagarden Beach Resort is a small, clean, and fairly quiet resort. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the day staff at the front desk, the entertainment staff, the buffet staff, and the beach staff who helped make our trip so pleasant. There is no undercurrent and I always felt safe swimming there. If you go past the roped off area make sure that you wear water shoes although you will not need them in the roped in area. The airport is close and the airplanes fly by the beach. They were delightful to watch. Our only issue was being constantly harassed by the local people when you go off resort. Some can be relentless. The resort is within walking distance to the "Hip Strip" but there is a nice gift shop within the resort. It is a bit pricier then the strip but it is very convenient. The resort itself is very peaceful and relaxing. There is a beautiful view of the sunset from the beach. There is also a beautiful sunrise from the pool view rooms facing the hillside. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
