Grand Palladium Punta Cana: I would give it 4 stars

Resort was ok food had teste but menu was always the some , rooms need update specially the bathroom , cleaning was good Lots of vendors on resort and beach a little annoying entertainment was poor Over all 4 starts not 41/2 Good for a young family with small kids

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: New Experience

We decided on Bavaro Select because of recent renovations and the fact that we had issues with bathroom facilities when we were at Palace two years ago. We chose a Premium Junior Suite room without knowing where we would be located. As it turned out, this type of room was only located in one of the 3 larger Eficianado buildings on the extreme east side of the Bavaro section(E17, E18, E19). This put us at a fairly long walk to the Bavaro pool. If we had chosen a Superior Junior Suite, we would ha [... read more]ve been closer to both the pool and beach. When you book, it isn’t always clear which building might contain the type of room that you choose. The creation of Family Select at Bavaro caused some issues for us. The closest area of beach from our room that we were allowed to use had virtually no shade. Family Select and Travel Club had their own private beach that were restricted to us, meaning an extra long walk to find a beach location with huts for shade. Family Select also had a private pool but those guests were also allowed to use the regular Bavaro Pool, making it crowded at times. We had an electricity outage at our room that persisted over parts of 3 days. We had to walk to the lobby to notify of the outage because the land line in the room wasn’t working. The problem was initially fixed quickly but it recurred again the next night. If we were to book Palladium again, we would be looking at a different room type, or fork over more money to stay at TRS. We like the resort for the most part, but there are certainly some issues.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful Resort

We loved the TRS Turquesa Resort. The rooms were lovely and all of them have their own pool which we especially loved. The food was great at all of restaurants. The main buffet is amazing with so much variety, but it was a bit busy and noisy for us, because it is the main buffet for the other hotels on the property as well, so we mainly went to the buffet at Turquesa. Our only complaint was that there wasn't much entertainment in the evenings. There was a singer or a piano player in the lobby, but it didn't really provide the set up for a romantic evening of dancing. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and it was especially great having our own butler to book dinners and call the shuttle for us. Our butler was Nancy, and she was just incredible!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort, bad customer service

We've been to this resort before, and decided to go again due to the access, facilities, and variety of this resort. We go with a big group of 16 people and are always generous with our tips and interactions. The resort changed their access packages/policies after we booked, without informing people who had booked. Upon arrival, our friends were all upgraded automatically to honour their package and access (2 families from general to family selection, 2 families from general to VIP). However [... read more], we were not. We arrived with a later flight, but on the same day. We were told by the front desk that it's because we didn't book through Expedia, but not all of our friends did. With the package/protocol in place, according to the front desk we had access to 1 pool, a very small area of the resort, and limited restaurants (2 restos, 1 buffet). We ended up having to pay 840 USD extra to get the required access. They said they made a "special price", and we could have the upgrade for this amount instead of 1050 USD. It feels quite dishonest to gauge people for extra money when you're already there, otherwise limiting our ability to spend time with friends -- the exact reason we flew in for. Even though the resort and facilities are nice, this left a very bad taste for us.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Disappointing!

I was fortunate to have stayed at this resort 15 years ago when it first opened and was excited to return... The service and food was lacking. It's a line up to get into any of the buffets and an even longer line for a fried egg. Not all of the a la carte/buffets are open daily so it's a guessing game as to which one you'll end up at. The resort app is glitchy but the best way to book a la cartes, note that they book for 3 days in advance right when the window opens or you will miss out. Very  [... read more]difficult to reach any service agents to address a host of issues from lack of toilet paper to being locked out 3 times. We were promised certain amenities upon arrival and they were not recieved. We have had equal and/or better at lessor rated resorts in Montego Bay.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing resort!

We had a wonderful time. Everyone was healthy. The resort was beautiful & well maintained. Lots of sports in the rear of the resort for our gentlemen. The nightime entertainment was great. Enjoyed the band after the entertainment in the lobby. Food was yummy. Best a la cartes we've been to. Beautiful palm tree forest and beach walking northbound along the beach. One of our highlights. The wee bit of improvement: no latin music or fun games by the beautiful pool. Also a bit too deep  [... read more]to walk around in. The location was a bit far from everything (40 min Playa del Carmen, 30 mins Tulum...we knew that going in, was ok). Overall, solid 4.5, we were very happy with our vacation and choice of hotels. Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Great time

This hotel is quite big and if I had mobility issues, it would have been tough. Other than that, I would say my biggest complaint was booking the restaurants through the App as it didn’t work for us. The pool is cold and the beach area is okay. If booking an additional service, make sure you get a receipt at the time as they charge it to your room and you have to pay before you leave…they tried to charge us $50 US more than what we agreed to but we argued the charge and wound up paying what w [... read more]e agreed to.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Very Solid Resort

My wife and I have been to Mexico for 17 trips in total to a wide variety of areas, resort could use a freshening up but food was good, rooms were decent, mini bar was stocked, bed was hard as a rock LOL. Pools and grounds were kept in great shape, and the layout with respect to the beach was ideal. Beach is beautiful and we watched whales almost everyday. Good bars, name brand alcohol, superbowl party was awesome.

TRS Yucatan: Amazing resort!

One week stay here was not enough! Top notch resort. Easy and pleasant check-in, rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Even the bathrooms at the beach or in the resort are spa-like and very clean. Our room was cleaned daily, and always very well done. Food is absolutely delicious. We ate at five different restaurants and loved each one. Our butlers, Eric and Lisandra, were so helpful and pleasant. They took care of the restaurant reservations, and were always quick to respond to any questio [... read more]ns we had. The beach is the tiny negative for me. It’s very narrow and parts are rocky. The TRS beach is a bit of a walk, but the shuttles are a great way to get there. Once there, that section of beach is beautiful (but small) and great food and drinks. The staff is polite and helpful throughout the resort. I can’t recommend it enough. We will be returning for sure!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Less Than Promised

Ground were beautiful despite the recent hurricane. Most employees were great and those that were not are obviously only attending to those people who were handing out large amounts of tips. Office staff is deplorable, tried to soak us for $750.00 vendor fee when we asked for a local tattoo artist to come and provide us with a tattoo. This was our second time in 3 years coming to this resort and it has gone way down hill. We would not recommend it to anyone. Food was great at the Steak House, Italian and Poseidon, Buffet's were good but very repetitive. Entertainment was too short and catered to specific groups of people. Really quite boring!

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Disappointed

Colonial - Disappointing The beach in front of the Colonial/Kantenah is beautiful as is the pool area. The rooms are dated, we had our room door left open by cleaning staff which was unacceptable; luckily our belongings were fine and the safe untouched. The beach bar was washing the plastic cups by spraying quickly putting them back into the rotation as the beach waiters quickly went around and picked up the empty cups from the guests. That doesn’t sit well especially at a time of viruses etc. Cleanliness was not always trustable. Overall it was a disappointing experience given it was a third visit based on more enjoyable shows and better food and overall service. The evening shows were few and far between; although they did have some kiddie shows at 8:00 a few Nights.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Would not go back

The Resort is beautiful. The main buildings and pool are all very nice. The beach on the Jamaica side is not very nice; but the Lady Hamilton side is very nice. For us, the Resort is way too spread out. Too far to walk from the Villa to the main building. We had to rely on the shuttle every time; and even standing waiting on the shuttle was hard on us. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great resort

The Grand Palladium is a wonderful resort. Very clean, staff are exceptional and the food at the buffet was very good. It wasn't overly busy which was good. My daughter loved the teen club and looked forward to spending time there with friends. It was the perfect family vacation.

We loved family section although it was just my husband and I, we were able to use the entire resort, great restaurants, coffee shop, lounges and pools, will certainly return. We were there 14 days Service was great, carts were always available to get to one section to another

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Very responsive staff!

I have never stayed at a resort with such genuinely helpful staff. They were always happy to assist and greeted us with a smile. Any issue that arose—and there were very few—was resolved quickly and without hesitation. The Grand Palladium also boasts the longest pool I have ever seen. I snorkelled every day, and each time I was happy to see a variety of different and unusual fish.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Don't Waste Your Money

Our 11 night stay was filled with issues, rudness and ultimately a very disappointing vacation. At the end of the stay the hotel tried to scam us out of an additional $750 usd. We made previous arrangements to have a local tattoo artist come and do some worm and upon arrival he was denied entry although he had been granted entry previously. This hotel does not care about the local people only about making money off of them.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort overall, rooms not great

The resort is fine. Very modern in some senses (app to book restaurants, bracelet key, they aren’t militant about the pool towels, etc.) but the rooms are lacking in most ways. Very little storage (zero drawers), no bathroom counter space (instead there are two sinks which is not necessary). One very tiny garbage. Our safe was broken, they fixed it. We ate at the Italian, Thai, and steakhouse and they are all good, with great service. Airport transfer is easy but SO MANY STOPS, on the way back, the 80km ride took almost 2 hours. Pools are good (a little cold but nothing crazy).

TRS Turquesa: Great experience

All aspects of the hotel were very good - cleanliness, food, rooms, staff and support. Sargassum / seaweed was plentiful on the beach, cleanup crews struggled to keep up. May be due to prevailing winds for the winter season (Dec 2025).

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Shame about the food.

The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and the pools are genuinely lovely — plenty of space to relax and enjoy the setting. Unfortunately, the food is fairly mediocre overall, and the booking system for the à la carte restaurants is an absolute joke. It’s frustrating, time-consuming, and feels completely unnecessary for a resort of this size. A nice property let down by its dining experience and an inefficient reservation system.
