Azul Beach Resort Negril: Great resort!

Azul resort was overall a great resort to stay at. The pool is open 24 hours so the late night swims were amazing. Resort staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The food was okay, not the best but the Ackee restaurant was great as it had authentic Jamaican food. The beach was beautiful as well! The crowd at the resort was mostly older adults and families and lacked a lot of younger crowds/music/activities. Overall I’d give the resort a 6.5/10.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya: The best 4 day vacation to recharge

The resort was everything we expected for our short 4 day stay. We needed a recharge and it was perfect. Although small, it offered the amenities we needed as well as assistance in understanding our Prestige membership. We are not beach people so we did not feel we missed out at all. At times, the pool was cool -- refreshing but would have been best to be a little warmer. The food and customer service was top notch. We enjoyed all restaurants equally. The best was the bracelets -- no more key fob or card to search for when going into your room.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort!!

Beautiful resort, nicely laid out and everything is near by. Christian at the pool bar is excellent. The Land Shark is the place to go to in the evening, always something going on and the food is great. We really enjoyed the Margaritaville theme with Jimmy Buffet lyrics all over surf boards and along the walls. No complaints about the resort itself, but it has no beach at all and also they could be better organized for the transportation to and from the resort. We were left waiting on both oc [... read more]casions and the hotel staff weren't sure if we would have to hire a taxi to bring us to the airport, luckily after they made a few calls someone finally arrived to bring us. Like I said, the resort is amazing and has a beautiful atmosphere,amazing food and friendly staff, would definitely go back.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: 90th birthday celebration

We would first like to say that the beginning of our trip was a rocky start. Receiving an email from Air Transat just a day before our vacation about the downgrade of the hotel was in itself worrying but as there were over twenty people to consider with their offer we really had no choice as some of our party had already arrived. Contacting them to see what their impressions were aided in the decision that we had to move forward with the celebration as planned. We felt we could deal with issues [... read more] as the arose. We all arrived safely and always thankful to the pilots and crew that make that happen. We arrived fairly late in the night but give credit to our bus driver for our safe arrival. It is a skill to drive over there. Not sure why but we were given an upgrade to a better room. We had paid for the Premium Oceanview suite and got a swim up room. Nice but in the very last building, very last room next to a very, very noisy highway. I would not consider that an upgrade. We understood the resort to be at full compacity so not worth the aggravation to change rooms. Please avoid any room the backs onto that highway. The birthday celebrations are planned for the Saturday. We contacted the hotel and met with Manuel (Food and Beverage Manager). We give a BIG thank you to Manuel and his crew that made the entire afternoon and evening very special for a special 90th birthday. Family and friends from all over were there to make this a day to remember. Lots of food and laughter. Service was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. As for the resort itself they should be thankful for some of their amazing staff members who made it feel like a holiday. However I would really recommend that the resort rethink how they do their towel service. Seven days there and only one day we had access to beach towels. Not sure why it was a big issue. Other resorts give you a card to get towels or exchange towels. The resort did deserve to be downgraded but I think a 3 1/2 star at most. It is tired and needs a good amount of time spent to bring it up to a higher rating. No one went hungry but they were always running out of things. A very special thank you to the amazing staff that are working in the restaurants for their hard work. Our hostess at the Mahogany buffet restaurant and servers at the bars around the resort. We would also like to give a special shout out to Lyndon our tour driver of "PurposeDriven Tours" Jamaica. He was exceptional on our tour to the Appleton Rum Estate. A tour I would highly recommend doing. He also provides Airport Transfers, Jamaican tours all over the island and private tours if you want. We were glad to at least be out of the snow and into some warm weather. Aside from the daily heavy rain showers it was so nice to be able to swim in such a beautiful location on the Seven Mile beach.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: 3.5 star resort with amazing beach and a long bumpy ride to it.

Room- furniture is outdated. Bed was comfy as were the pillows and blankets. Mini bar was stocked daily. Towels and toiletries were always on hand and the room was very tidy. Patio was very noisy from traffic as the road is very close to the resort. Food & Drinks- bar staff were very nice and drinks were good. We did the snack bar ( burgers and fries) ok. We just did the buffet the rest of the week as it was good selection and tasty. It can be quite busy at times. Not lots of shade or loungers so you need to get up early or go with out ( lots need replacing) sometimes you had to wait for towels. Entertainment- We went twice (early birds) middle of the road meh. We got a great deal so we were very happy with our vacation and would go back again

Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana Hammock: Transition to Dreams Cap cana

We were promised a seamless transition from Margaritaville to Dreams and did not get it. We did not get Preferred service such as, Butler, pool, restaurant, and late check out. We had a print out of agreement and the service staff spent over an hour trying to convince us that we got what was promised.

Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Amazing Experience for all ages, Had an Amazing time from start to finish

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: First time in mexico

I was so impressed with the quality of accommodation and selection of amenities including the spa and gym which we used daily before our 1 hour walk down the beach. The resort staff were above and beyond and very friendly. The restaurants were amazing and the food was the best I have ever been served at a resort. Mexico has a 8000 year old history and there are archeological site you can also visit.We look forward to our next visit to margaritaville in cancun !

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Margaritaville Island Reserve Cancun is a fantastic resort. The grounds are meticulously kept and the gorgeous beach is just steps from your accommodations. The staff here is phenomenal especially José and Hector.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya: OK Resort but had not noticed there was no beach.....

Although this hotel was new (2023), there were a few issues. It was a nice hotel, clean. What was disappointing was the there was always something no longer available, whether it was drinks, (menu removed after the order was placed), certain main food items at the A La Carte restaurants (ex: Osso Bucco, etc). Certain wait-staff at non A La Carte restaurants were non attentive - for example : Other customers would come in after us, served by their wait-staff, and departed before we were served. T [... read more]hen, Half of our table was served and either received their main course before the appetizer, and were finished well before the others got their meals. Reason for this was the restaurant was full - which it was not. I've been to a lot of All-inclusive resorts and this one was unfortunately not up to standards.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Best resort!

This was the best resort I've ever been to! Such professional staff and very well taking care of area/pool/rooms/restaurants. Highly recommend this place for ur next vacation with or without your kids. Lots of food selections for breakfast lunch and dinner! Room service was usually under an hour wait for delivery at anytime of day/night. The restaurants were mostly free food except a few. 10 outta 10 rating and will be coming back forsure

The resort was clean and well maintained. Staff are wonderful and definitely made the trip that much better. The mojito bar was so nice and a great place to go after dinner for a cocktail. I have to say the staff surpassed all my expectations (Carlos, Bettyna, Blanca, Jose, Gio, Alex, Javier, and Camal). Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort for a family!

We really enjoyed our stay at Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun. The staff was very helpful, the amenities were perfect for having a toddler with us, and the grounds were filled with great places to eat, play and relax.

We have been to this resort 15 times so far. We love the atmosphere here. The service staff are amazingly friendly and because we have been here so many times many know us by first and last name. Our butler was very efficient in making the restaurant reservations for us. The Prestiege member pool butlers are the absolute best. Every morning our lounge chairs were prepared with towels and plenty of cold water to start each day. Alexandria greeted us every morning (for breakfast at the Spoon) with a smile and a reserved table, she was the sweetest staff member we have ever encountered and she should go far in this industry. The room was always clean. Unfortunately, the food was hit and miss at times (cold), however one I pointed it out that I was not pleased the last four dinner meals were excellent. Pools are fine, beach has been deteriorating due to climate change, no fault of the resort.

Resort is very nice. New and clean. Always felt safe and all staff were always very welcoming. Entertainment team is pretty good and pool bars have good drinks and service. Restaurants are pretty good. Buffet is ok but Italian was excellent and Landshark pub was great. Breakfast was always fantastic and great service. Luis was amazing to us. Some things that fell short for the price was their reservation system is not good and hard to get times. Snacks were great. One last thing is it's theeeee most expensive resort we've ever been to. We've been lucky enough to travel the past 10 years and mostly to Mexico. Things that are included in other resorts like specialty drinks, bud lite, gift shop etc is by far the most expensive we've ever been. Their spa is crazy expensive and we live spas. We've been to grand moon place spa and other top ones with hydrotherapy etc and this place was wayyyyy more money which was surprising. Over all for a place to relax, have good food, great service and a nice e vibe and great cleanliness this would be for you.

Great place to stay ,staff was the best and food was ok. Room was clean and comfortable bed. You can find anything you want on the beach and more. two hour bus ride from the airport to the resort . not much entertainment I’ve seen better in Cuba. Nexus agent was nowhere to be found

If you like beach walks though ,it's not the place for you..thats the negative Food was very good ,probably best choice was buffet and the Rum Runner for Lunch and the LandShark for Supper Pool was great and activities were very doable for all ages..

Rooms are nice, clean, mini fridge was stocked with drinks, good water pressure. Fold out couch bed was hard and too small for our 12 year old. No blowdryer. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Pools were nice, beach was amazing. They were constantly out of beach towels. People were just leaving their things on beach beds to claim them as their own the entire week. Food was pretty good (we’re vegan and they were happy to accommodate when we asked). Loved the staff, very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was mediocre but we appreciated their effort, some shows were better than others. Overall the resort is a 4 star, not 5.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Great beach but not five star hotel

The beach is wonderful we had booked a swim up suite in the adults only section. There isn’t enough sun loungers at the beach. You have to get up at 4am to reserve one. There’s also lack of towels the resort. the workers work hard and are friendly but everywhere you go you’re always missing a little bit something maybe there’s not beer because the machine froze, no more mint for drinks. They didn’t give you an extra option. You just are missing it.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun: A great resort!

We had a wonderful time at the resort and loved the boutique-like feel. We found it super clean everywhere. The staff were all amazing, friendly and went out of their way to help you. The beach was really nice, though breezy every day. They were cleaning sea weed on the beach twice daily when we were there but you could easily avoid it in the water. All the food we had was great and the drinks too! We really didn’t like the chair hogs, however that comes at every resort.
