Leaves somethings to be desired.

First of all, let me list the positives of this resort. It’s beautifully maintained with wonderfully modern features. The pool was close to the ocean and provided lots of fun times for the kids. The staff were amazing. Kind and happy, couldn’t ask for more there. The Nickelodeon theme wasn’t over the top in your face either which is nice HOWEVER 1. The food was mediocre at best. My husband and friend got incredibly sick (like projectile vomiting for 6+ hours) after eating a pasta meat sauce that had been sitting for who knows how long. My husband had to go on antibiotics when we got home. On the last day we talked to multiple other people who got sick too. 3. The childcare is closed from 5-7pm - which is dinner time. my husband and I would of liked to have dinner alone 1 or 2 times. It’s open from 7-9 which is bedtime for many kids. Very strange. 4. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets scratchy, which is pretty minor in the end. If my husband hadn’t been SO sick I would recommend this resort.

Outstanding Family Friendly Resort!

My family and I just returned from the Nickelodeon Resort and Hotel, and had an amazing time. The resort is immaculate, and the service impeccable. Everyone greets you with a smile and are always happy to help you. That goes for the bartenders, servers, front desk and even the life guards. My kids, aged 3 and 5, loved the water park and the character breakfast! We even got slimed! An absolute must! The food was truly outstanding. Amazing resort

The grounds, public areas and dining experiences were great. The rooms were standard. I was disappointed that we requested 2 double beds a year ago when booking but received a king and a pull out at check in. We talked to the concierge who was not very helpful with anything. So both kids had to sleep on a put out couch which was not comfortable at all. That would be my complaint. Other than that it was an incredible vacation for the kids.

Choose Mexico if your going to think about going to DR and specially this resort

Pricey had bug issues in our hotel room, whole family had the runs, got so bad we were all afraid to eat at one point not all was bad. But if your going to pay these prices go Mexico resorts that's my overall advice

Fun resort for kids, relaxing for parents, despite the unexpected

This resort is immaculate and has lots of fun activities for kids under 10. The food was good, compared to other resorts we've been to. The beach, pool, and AquaNick are all awesome. We had to seek emergency medical care for our son, which resulted in 3 days in the hospital. Even though the medical issue had nothing to do with the resort, we would have appreciated more assistance from the resort and maybe even an acknowledgement of the fact that we lost three days out of our week. The hotel does need to work on service-- restaurants had unpredictable hours and even though staff obviously were trained in being polite and in ending every sentence with "it was my pleasure", the service seemed inauthentic. There definitely seemed to be protocols in place, but the staff would have been more effective if they were able to make decisions themselves instead of always having to check with a manager. This will likely come in time since the resort is so new. Also, the concierge service is not at all helpful and I would have preferred to deal with restaurants and spa myself. The concierges I encountered (with the exception of one good one) made me feel vulnerable, like they were out to "get me" (e.g. Sales pitch for something) The evening entertainment was great and we would have had a wonderful time, were it not for our unfortunate medical issue.

Great hotel

The hotel was beautiful and the beach was nice except the water was rough and the service was terrible. They were booked to capacity and I think they couldn't handle it. The restaurant were nice but there was not enough staff and it was very slow. We went to the character breakfast and the kids enjoyed it but it was not worth paying for (ours was included)

Great Nickelodeon Punta Cana Experience

This is one of the most luxurious and best family resorts in the Caribbean. We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is clean, family friendly and the food is amazing!! We all enjoyed the water park. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were comfortable and roomy

Great Resort for the while family

Amazing water park, beautiful beach, great food and very attentive staff. My son got sick during our stay and the staff and in resort Doctor was very helpful. We all enjoyed the vacation however the kids really enjoyed the family sliming which is a Nicolodeon tradition.

Very Nice Resort

We really enjoyed this resort. The water park was great for our 6 and 8 yr olds. The grounds were well kept and most of the staff were very friendly. The food and liquor selection could have been better

Great resort for families with small children!

Very clean, amazing resort for families with children under age 10. Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Best resort for children's activities but would say it is geared for younger children at Nick Place and the water park. Food was great with lots of options and no hassle of having to make reservations. Loved that! They aim to please here and much of the meals are considered part of the excitement and experience so if you're someone who likes to eat in a hurry only stick to the buffet. Lots of storage space in the rooms for clothes although the things beside the bed had a funky smell- I think it's the paint that was used.

Amazing resort and waterpark!

Nice, spacious modern room overlooking the pools below and the ocean in the distance. Waterpark was great for young children (under 10 years old) with many kids activities available during the day and evening. Character central, foam party and "sliming" were the highlights of the week! Awesome waves for beach fun, clean sand and large area for playing, beach sports and sun bathing. Nice piazza with evening entertainment, artisans and restaurants/cafe. Everything in walking distance, shuttles available and easily accessible. Clean, tastefully decorated and well-maintained resort.

Great resort

We travelled with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren (2 and 4). This is a beautiful resort. Very clean and friendly staff. Food was much better than we expected - which was a nice surprise. The kid's entertainment was great and they enjoyed the water park, ball pit and characters.

Excellent Resort

My family and I had a great time at the Nickelodean resort. The staff was wonderful and made sure we were happy. The beach was a little choppy, but we still enjoyed it. Great food, great rooms and excellent staff.
