Great hotel

The hotel was clean the rooms were clean the staff was great the entertainment was fantastic the bar staff was friendly and efficient I have been to this resort my second time I s my favourite another positive thing is 5 minutes from the airport We will be back next year Thanks for a great holiday

Riu reggae is a great resort!

From arrival to departure, everything was great! The grounds, the food, the staff, the entertainment crew is second to none! They work long hours and are consistently cheerful and outgoing! We especially loved Afro! Don’t miss the “white party”. Loved our entire stay!

Amazing resort!!

It was our first time in Jamaica and this resort was clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and the food was fantastic. The beach is ok. Overall we had a fantastic stay and are looking to bring our kids with us next time

AMAZING RESORT

If you are looking for an entertaining resort then look no further than RIU Reggae. Very friendly staff, great food with plenty of options, nightly entertainment and the ability to also visit RIU Montego Bay, made this trip very enjoyable. Would recommend an ocean view room during your stay. Booking through trip central was easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend! 5+ stars for sure!

Nice Resort!

I Would not classify this hotel as a 5*. Staff was great through out the hotel, except the front reception. They were not helpful or friendly. They just could not be bothered. Other staff was great. Food was good with lots of selection. Hotel rooms were basic. Entertainment was fantastic. I loved that the pools and beach were very close to each other. Every angle on the main pool area gives you a great view of the beach. If you are looking for a smaller resort vibe, and a quick vacation. This [... read more] would be perfect. Overall, it gave us what we needed, a quick getaway for some sunshine.

Great Resort

Loved the Resort Set Up. Everything close by. Couldn’t get lost looking for Restaurants, Pools, Bars, or Ocean. All right there. Rooms were a little more complicated, but figured it out. My biggest complaint was the whole App business. Wanted us to check in with App Book Restaurants with App Book return bus with App Had horrible time getting VIP Lounge at Airport Talked to Sunwing Rep 6 times ! Always a good time in jamaica

We actually stayed at the riu palace which was right next to riu reggae and we could access and easily walk across. Overall it's a great complex, there was enough authentic jamaican food to enjoy. The service in general was really great. No issues when interacting with employees and they were very friendly and warm. The animation team was top notch; the best energy I've experienced. Lots of Americans, so the music is geared towards Americans. But still a descent variety.

Fantastic resort!

Everything about Riu Reggae is amazing. Great staff, beautiful beach and pools. The food is the best out of any resort I've visited. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Great resort!!

I have to say I am not an entertainment person but the entertainment here was amazing! Staff are incredible and so friendly. Every morning they come along and greet you on the beach and stop will stop by just to chat. As regards to the food; I would give them a 4 out of 5. The buffet was great and the steakhouse. I love Italian food but the Italian restaurant was horrible. Also there was another restaurant that was only opened once in the week we were there. Fantastic resort!!

This was my first time to Jamaica so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. First of all, Jamaica is amazing, the resort was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and all gave amazing service. The entertainment staff were so good and were friendly and very talented! The food at the resort was great, so many options and very delicious. The hotel also had so many drink options both alcohol and non-alcoholic, so there was something for everyone. There were no bugs (mosquitoes and flies  [... read more]on food) like I have experienced in other places. This is a small quaint resort but I prefer that. The beach is smaller than places but you can go to the Riu Montego Bay resort if you want to which is much bigger.This was by far my favourite vacation and my only regret is that I didn’t book for 8-10 days!

Very good resort

This was my first time at the Riu and the Riu Reggae was very good. The service was good, lots of different variety for food and being vegetarian there was a lot to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds changed every day. The resort is not big so everything is great walking distance including to the beach. Beach had seaweed in some area but overall it was great.

Best experience of my life

I love that you have access to the other resort Montego Bay. Workers are so friendly, there’s an event or show every night, foam party on fridays I mean I had a blast. Food is pretty good. Some meals are bland but then other meals are really tasty so it makes up for it. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Fabulous Experience!

We loved the Rui Reggae! We had a fabulous experience. The resort was beyond clean, whether it was our room, the bars or the restaurants there was no difference always clean. Staff was so friendly and we felt very safe either in the hotel or walking along the beach to the Rui Montego Bay! We would definitely recommend this resort.

Awesome place

The riu reggae was awesome not one complaint. Good food always hot I don't mean spicy but the spices jerk sauce was there if you desire. The grounds were very clean beach was small but awesome. People friendly and always working hard to make your stay enjoyable. We are seniors and stayed mostly in the quiet end. 2 swim up bars one for quiet 1 for those who want to rock. Pools are huge. Fantastic Experience

The Riu Reggae in Montego Bay, Jamaica was an absolute delight. We traveled with 3 couples. Food, entertainment, drinks, water sports all provided a broad range of appeal. Probably one of the best buffets we've experienced and we go all over the Caribbean for all-inclusive resorts! Booking this vacation with TripCentral made it really easy. Amazing Resort

The hotel is boutique style layout with lounges and restaurants surrounding the centre. The entertainment is fun something for everyone and the food is outstanding. You will want for nothing specially if you enjoy Jamaican cooking but if not lots of the meats and dishes. Staff ate great, rooms and resort are spotless specially washroom and beach. I will definitely return to any of the Rui resorts. Also only 10 minutes from the airport which is so important when travelling.

Amazing Resort

The food was fantastic. Always something different for dinner at the buffet. The Italian restaurant was amazing along with the Steak house. A special thanks to Kenosha and Jody. Always fun entertainment especially Michael Jackson. Only complaint is the beach was not very good

What FUN!!

Not ideal

Not ideal for a younger crowd. Beach was very small and was constantly full of salesmen in their boats. Otherwise hotel was small but clean, staff were friendly. The buffet was the best meal(s) available out of all of the restaurants. Planes fly overhead and it’s extremely loud and disruptive all day. Also view from the room balcony was of a barbed wire fence encircling the hotel which would be fine if it weren’t for the men on the opposite side constantly calling out trying to make sales an [... read more]d harass you as you sit on the balcony.

Amazing Resort

Overall experience 10/10. It is a smaller resort of the three Riu. However, staff is exceptional and friendly. Food was sometimes too salty but still overall really good, great selections and awesome drinks. Definitely would return again!
