Beautiful resort

Blue waters continues to be an excellent resort. It is clean, comfortable and a reasonable size. The people make the resort and enjoyable experience. We will continue to trave twice a year to Blue Waters.

Great Family Destination

Our family of four spent a week at the Royalton Blue Waters at the end of January, 2018. This was our second trip to Jamaica and our favorite so far! The staff were wonderful and took time to make us feel welcome always ensuring that we had everything we needed. The resort is stunning and the landscaping is beautiful. We really enjoyed the beautiful white sand beach, the pools, lazy river and water slides were great for our kids (ages 7 and 10). The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with a balcony facing an amazing ocean view. There were a few issues with hot water a couple days however it did not hamper our vacation - we survived as everything else was perfect!

Outstanding resort

Royalton Blue Waters, Montego Bay is an outstanding resort. The all inclusive truly includes everything....and you will not want for anything else. The food is excellent, in the buffet and a la carte restaurants. There is a wide selection of choices for each meal. The rooms at Blue Waters are large and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and cozy. All rooms above floor 2 are ocean view and have very clear views of the resort and ocean. The grounds are well kept and clean. Pools are well m [... read more]aintained. The beach is constantly being raked to maintain a clear sandy area. The highlight of the resort are the Jamaican people. They are SOOOOO friendly and accommodating. We have met several employees over the years and all have become friends. When we return to the resort, we feel very welcomed and a part of their families.

Wonderful Resort

The hotel was clean. The room was large, very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was very nice. The beach was very nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good. And you can't miss the capucinno.

It was a fantastic resort

We really enjoyed or first trip to Jamaica. We are planning on returning to this resort. The staff were fantastic we were treated with kind words and respect by all the staff we encountered. This resort is key very clean and if there was a problem the maintenance staff was there to fix it right away.The food was great in all the restaurants and the bar staff was great as well. the only thing we noticed was that some times the bars seemed to be short staffed. Exceeds 5 Star Rating

We are absolutely in love with this resort! The food was amazing, everywhere was kept spotless and the grounds were so beautiful. In your room, you can order room service through the TV and the housekeeping team kept the room clean and did turn down service. The one downside was that the pool bar was very slow to serve due to lack of staff, sometimes longer than 10 minutes to be served. We voiced this with a manager when he was going around the grounds asking for feedback. Very good to see!

Beautiful Resort

We recently returned from the Royalton Blue Waters in Jamaica. The rooms were well appointed and the food was very good. We really liked the layout of the resort which felt like everything was at your fingertips - restaurants, pool, ocean and entertainment. The fitness and entertainment staff were terrific. With Rayon getting everyone involved with the activities and Kaffain, Kevin and Jeffrey making sure you got your sweat on. We had a blast. Royalton Blue Waters Review

Our multi-generational family group had an absolutely wonderful time at the Royalton Blue Waters. The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant common areas and well appointed rooms. The beach and pool areas were also great and were well kept. Staff were very friendly with good service at bars and restaurants. Restaurants offered a great variety of options. No real waits for anything. The social convenors were lively and engaging however many activities listed on the in house TV itinerary  [... read more]did not occur. Also activities at the Royalton White Sands next door (which we had access to) were displayed separately on their outdoor board - It would have been helpful to have the activities from both resorts listed on the tv and perhaps on a single piece of paper that you could throw in your beach bag rather than trying to remember what was on your tv screen that morning or having to walk over to physically check out the board at the resort next door. Our only real issue of concern was that the resort failed to accommodate our request, made almost six months in advance, for connecting rooms (we had requested 2 sets but didn't get any). Three of our five rooms were close together, with two next door to each other. Apparently we were told there is a difference between adjoining rooms and connecting rooms but our request was made through our travel agent who I am sure would have used the correct terminology. These three rooms actually were all connecting rooms - just not to each other. Unfortunately we were told there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was fully booked. In the end the other two rooms were scattered at opposite ends on a different floor which was disappointing given the amount of notice that we had provided. Also one of our party ended up up with a King room, rather than the two queens that were requested. They did offer to move us to another room part way through the trip but it was on yet another floor further still from our group so we declined. The Sunwing rep (Daquiri) and the Royalton group rep (Mercedes) were both wonderful.

Amazing Family Resort

Went Mid May. Loved the arrival welcome! Great vibe throughout the resort. Staff are "like old friends" so friendly, was impressed with the way the entertainment staff would approach you to inform you of activities and getting vacationers involved. The area of the resort is well planned, not too large of a resort, everything was a perfect distance. The grounds, facilities the entire place was very clean and very well kept. Food is delicious and enjoyed by all (adults along with a 9 & 12 year old), so many options. Beach is beautiful. Jerk hut at the beach next-door at the white sands resort is amazing and very popular along with the cafe providing ice cream bar, soft serve machine and pastries! The two resorts together to explore and get from place to place was a nice distance not far at all. It was the perfect family vacation we were looking so forward too!

Blue Waters did not disappoint!

Our first trip to a Royalton was two years ago. We stayed at the White Sands. After spending a good but not great trip to another resort in the same area last year we returned Royalton Blue Waters this year to check out the new addition and were not disappointed. The hotel is new so not a lot to say other than we did not have AC the first two nights. That was rectified and we had an overall amazing experience. The beach areas were clean and the service was good. Our butler Carla was amazing!!! I have and will continue to recommend this property and Jamaica as a whole as a wonderful destination option for families.

Royalton Blue Waters-Jamaica

Another outstanding trip with our second family. We have met many people at the resort and together, they create a very positive and relaxing holiday. All aspects of the resort are positive- the food is excellent at the buffet and a la cartes. The rooms are large and clean. The overall resort is clean, well maintained and well groomed. Fantastic resort!

The Royalton Blue Water resort exeded my expectations. We are a family of four including a 13 and 11 year old. The rooms were large and perfectly laid out. The grounds were well maintained and most importantly the staff was incredible. Hospitable, warm and lovely. I would definitely recommend this resort!

Beautiful resort

It was a beautiful resort. The food and the drink weren't that good. The food was really greasy. The service was amazing. It was pretty close to the airport, like maybe 30 minutes from the airport. The view of the ocean was beautiful.

Fabulous resort

Overall, this resort is a hidden gem!! It is a smaller resort that is easy to get around. My husband and I have stayed at White Sands for 4 vacations over the past year and then at Blue Waters for Christmas holidays and then most recently last week. ACCOMMODATIONS at the Blue Waters are very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Since it is a new building, everything is in good condition. FOOD/RESTAURANTS are excellent. They are very accommodating to those who have special food needs...ie.: gluten free selection, salad bar, fresh fruit, etc. The desserts are excellent. On Monday night the buffet is moved to the beach for a beach party and on Thursday the buffet is moved for a street party. The other restaurants remain open and have an excellent menu with a variety of cuisines. POOLS are well maintained and very clean. We spent our time at the adults only pool at White Sands. We found the pool at Blue Waters had a large number of children and they were permitted to swim up to the bar and sit there. It was very noisy. The bar staff at Dipps and around that pool is excellent. Be sure to visit Remone or Levardo for a dirty banana. They make some mean drinks!!! BEACH area is kept clean and is raked every morning and as needed. There are ample chairs for the guests to sit at either poolside or beach area. Overall, the employees at the resort are very accommodating and eager to please the clientele. They go beyond to meet everyone's needs and assure that everyone is having a good time. I would highly recommend this resortand we plan on returning in the near future.

ROBBED and the safe re-locked!

We are still here and I am a well traveled destination wedding photographer from Toronto. I will extend our scathing reviews when we safely arrive home tomorrow but let me tell you, we do NOT FEEL SAFE here. Every single dollar of ours was taken from the safe which was locked and then the bizarre thing, relocked! Can you say, Inside job? We came here and made friends with the manager Luis, and told him we would be happy to write a review as the grounds were beautiful. The last two days have been [... read more] a nightmare with an investigation in who broke into our safe! They provided us with a print out which I demanded to see and took photos of it, as well as video from our amateur hour investigation, where we were not even offered a sorry last night, nevermind compensation for hundreds of dollars lost. My scathing review will continue once we get home. You are not safe here, and they do not have your beat interests in mind. Go to Mexico and don't spend a dollar coming here. And I Am a VERY reasonable person with a huge social media influence. Absolutely unbelievable. Do not come here.

Exemplary resort

My husband and I recently returned from the Royalton Blue Waters resort. We spent our Christmas there and it was beautiful. The new unit has beautiful large rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. The new and remodelled restaurants serve a wide variety of tasty food. The buffet has areas where they cook the food in front of you so that you get it exactly the way you like. The staff work hard to meet your needs and are always friendly. A few people that always go beyond our expectations to make our holiday enjoyable: Vassell looked after us at the buffet and a la carte restaurants; Shanoy checked everyday at the adult pool to assure we were taken care of; Ramon kept mixing the drinks to perfection; and Glenise was constantly bringing us beverages at the pool. The entire staff including bartenders and the social club did an excellent job. We have had 5 trips to this resort and have already booked our next trip in February. Cant wait to go back and visit our second family.

Butler service a waste of money

The hotel is nice. The staff for the most part are nice. The rooms are clean and nice. The entertainment is in the middle of the courtyard which makes it hard to sleep till after 11pm. The shows were not very good. As a family resort it's good but if you want quiet this is not a resort for you! There are no adult only areas and all the daytime entertainment is everywhere. Very windy in every place you sat.

Amazing honeymoon and resort!

This hotel was just constructed and completed a couple months ago so rightfully so we were expecting some hiccups along the way. When we arrived it was like the place had been doing business for years already. The smallest hiccup was when checking in the front desk didn't have our diamond club and honeymoon package on their account. This was the only real thing close to an issue we had all week. The rooms were amazing. The resort was amazing and kept very clean the entire time. They had security guards almost everywhere so the place felt very safe. They had security even making sure the wrong people on the resort didn't go into other people's buildings. The beach was so nice and always clean. The water was a bit rough most days but that was minor to us. The food was amazing and we never got sick of it or sick from it. One very nice thing we noted was the quick 25 minute drive from the airport to the resort. Overall an amazing week and we couldn't have asked it to go any other way.
