Great week at Fantasia

Just returned from a week at Bahi Principe Fantasia. Overall it was a great experience. There is always something good to eat from the large variety o food. My room was beautiful quiet and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful.I asked for a mattress topper and received one promptly. My only suggestions would be providing some quiet areas to sit with family and talk without having to shout. The music at thenpool and the theatre were too loud. Also 6:30 is late for the buffet to open for lit [... read more]tle ones who have been out in the sum swimming all day. Difficult to keep them awake during dinner. Otherwise a great reaort.

A true fantasy

We enjoyed our week. There were many activities by the Fantasia pool. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurants were enjoyable but it was difficult to reserve all the restaurants we wanted. The rooms were comfortable. The castles, and the surroundings made you think that you were in a fantasy.

Amazing destination

The resort was what we wanted for a family trip and our kids had fun. From the meals to the water park. The kids activities and the castle display. Everything was just perfect for the whole trip. Cheers

Great family resort

This hotel was great for kids. It was very magical, castles had light shows, water park and pool activities were awesome. The small cafe by the water park pool has the best food for kids - fresh to order pizza and grilled cheese with ham, this is what my kids ate almost the whole time. If you check out in the app be cautious because you loose your wifi and if you didn’t write down your room number it can make check out stressful - the bell boy would not accept our email confirmation and wanted t [... read more]he room number which I had lost access to. The buffet gets a bit repetitive too and a lot of the pizza has corn on it so my kids were not a huge fan of the food. As adults I grew tired of it quickly too. And some of the al La cartes dont offer the kids menu but can give you plain noodles with butter - be careful of this. One has a little play area for kids that is fenced right beside it though - loved that! The entertainment staff for kids were amazing and had great energy. Over all we loved it here and would suggest it to any family with small kids.

Beautiful Resort

Our room was huge spotless and located perfectly. The entire resort so clean. Workers were very friendly The food was plentiful and so good.We traveled with our 10 year old and she absolutely loved. Definitely a 5 star family resort

Perfect Family Getaway

We are a family of 4; parents, toddler, and grandmother who travelled to Fantasia Punta Cana in December 2023 the week before Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling with young children. Everything is geared towards families, from the rooms with multiple beds, to the food options - even the French à la carte restaurant had a children's specific buffet with exceptional selections for kids. There were shows geared towards kids every evening, and there were little surprises around the property every day for kids to enjoy. The kids club was wonderful and the pools and water features were perfect for little ones. The staff were always friendly and responsive to any and all requests. The property is well maintained and clean. The beach was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort.

Didn't have good experience

Not much food for vegetarians.. we ate only rice and beans for lunch and dinner day after day. So we didn't really enjoy our stay. Also, there was no shower gel and not enough towels in the bathroom. We had to keep calling the reception to bring them over. Majority of the staff don't understand English, even the staff at the reception don't understand English that was very frustrating..

Amazing resort

The resort was great. We are not picky visitors, but seen a lot. Rooms clean, staff responsive, food selection was good, beach area was clean and safe. Pools were clean. In general all was ok, without big surprises. The only thing- if you stay at Fantasia place - it is a good walk/run to get to the beach, shuttle needed.

Amazing Resort more than 5 stars

This was our first visit to Bahia Principe Fantasia & let me mention it was absolutely fantastic and highly recommenced for families. Food was amazing with nothing spared by the resort. Facilities were outstanding and overall experience was well worth it.

Very Bad Resort

Staff doesn't speak English......don't visit if you can only speak English and doesn't know Spanish since all activities are in Spanish. They don't know how to cook chicken, Beds and rooms were smelling bad. All restaurants aren't open everyday and make sure to do reservations if you want to eat at Fine dining restaurant. Overall bad experience at the resort.

Amazing trip

We just got back from an amazing vacation. This resort is definently a 5 star resort. From ck in Andreas was quick and fast and made sure our requests were meet. Getting into our room we found there was no crib as requested so I went back to the front desk. When I got back to the room 10 mins later it was there.. quick service. The room was very spacious, cleaned spotless with an adjoining room for my daughter and her family. The king bed was very comfortable with 10 pillows.. bathroom had Jacuz [... read more]zi tub, separate shower and separate toilet. On to the pool and pool bar. Juan is a number 1 bartender. He could mix anything. Our entertainment staff Asvaldo, Carlos, Luis and Joel kept us entertained for the week. They are so attentive to the kids. Picking them up playing with them and making them have fun. Buffet Luis Miguel should be serving in s high class restaurant he was amazing. The grounds are immaculate and the beach kept very clean. The Bahia Manager should be very proud of his property. I would rate this Bahia a ,6 star.. Also thank you Carol Mack from trip central for all your help in booking this awesome trip.

Average OK but not amazing.

We stay in Bahia Principe Fantasia in beginning of October. First, rooms strong smell of mold, its not that we can't handled but be ready for this. Cleanliness of the rooms was ok. Swimming pool and splash pool was maintaining well. Buffet just prefect, ignore all restaurants accept Japanese. Beach activities just nothing. Completely zero. Magical !!

Fantasia is a great place for families with children. Plenty to do to keep you and the younger kids; ( I suggest ages 1 to 10.) as active or chill as you prefer. . Pools and water slides. Kids club. Nightly entertainment from 8 pm. The light shows and fountains make the place look magical !! The resort is bright and sunny during the day, with shade under canopies or umbrella. Even with some daily showers, it dries up quickly. Rooms are spacious enough for adults and children. Mini fridge fille [... read more]d daily and food, snacks and drinks are plentiful. It is a great destination in the Caribbean so do expect to see some insects and small critters around, which my 4 year old grand child was excited to see. A short tram ride will deliver you to the Fantasia section of the beach, where the snack bar is located. A short walk over to the left you can enjoy the new pool features of the Punta/Bavaro resorts. Overall we could not ask for more; except more days !! lol

Great Resort

We visited Bahia Fantasia Punta Cana in July 2023. The overall resort is beautiful and enjoyable for the whole family. Our kids really enjoyed the water park and the pool. Our experience upon checking in was not great. We paid extra for a room with a Castle front view, but were disappointed that no such room was available. It would have been decent just to tell us that, but instead they kept us waiting in the lounge for hours after checking in, and gave us the run around because we asked to spea [... read more]k to a representative that could help us out. After a frustrating start, one Rep, Stephanie, finally acknowledged, there are no rooms with castle view because of the growing palm trees and apologized. We finally had someone honest. Be aware about paying extra for upgraded rooms, there is a strong chance they won't be able to fulfill your requests. Putting aside that experience, the resort overall is beautiful. The rooms are well equipped. Room service and housekeeping are great. We had Yvonne who always kept our room well stocked. The buffet was decent. Ruben, who worked at the buffet, was spectacular. He always made sure we were happy. He was super friendly and always had a big smile on his face. We only got to try two different A La Carte restaurants. We were disappointed that we didn't get to try other restaurants either because they were fully booked and with the exception of one, all the other restaurants are in the other resorts or on the beach. You can use the shuttle to get to the other restaurants, but the wait can be very long for the shuttles and the only timings available for the restaurants were either really early in the evening or very late, which meant either you end your day early at the waterpark or the kids fall asleep at the restaurants for late reservations. So, we stuck to the buffet and enjoyed the nightly kid shows. They had fantastic shows every night (superhero night, princess night, lion king drama roleplay). We were impressed and very pleased with the nightly shows. The resort also had three different sections of pools. The main one was always packed and busy. With young kids, we preferred the other two pool sides that were less busy. The downfall with that was bar service was only offered at the main pool. If you spent your days at the waterpark or the smaller pools, then you had to get your own drinks. The castle is right in the middle of the pools, and it was great. Kids can indulge in ice cream and parents can grab their drinks. Overall, it was a great resort and fun place for the kids.

Very kid friendly resort

Very good resort, alot of fun and activities for everyone, the food was very good, the service amazing. However alot of seaweed on the beach and in the water. I would definitely recommend the hotel but not during the summer

The resort is big and you can walk or take the golf cart. Decent size pool and kids pool. However, services are so so - majority of the staff are rude. The Italian restaurant was very slow - after waiting for 1 hr 1/2 still no food was reserved. The front desk service was very slow and gives preference to spanish speaking guests even though you are in front of the line.

Fantasia the Dream Palace for kids!

Date: June 2023. We loved this resort! From arrival to departing the children enjoyed every bit and can't wait to return. The food selections for picky eaters were great, the grounds were well kept, staff were courtious and tried their best to help when they could, night entertainment was perfect, kids club staff was great in keeping the kids busy (painting, crafts, feeding the fishes, baking cookies etc) Considering time of year, sea weed was an issue on the beach with high tides.. The p [... read more]roperty itself was very old though, so would benefit from updates to the rooms, their sewage system. Our last two days we had no AC and was difficult to sleep in the heat. Reached out to reception but was unable to rectify before we left. Overall we had a great stay and even though things weren't perfect, we loved it and would return

Great customer service especially with the manager Diane,and at the snack beach fantasia Angel Andujar,and Maria Dalton Parasailing was an amazing experience The food ,pool and beach were all great. I loved it

Amazing resort and experience

I really enjoy my stay. The hotel staff is very friendly and efficient. Is clean, well attended and maintained. The buffets have many options and very good and tasty. I have no complaints whatsoever. Really satisfied and happy!
