Seranade All Suites Punta Cana

It was absolutely fantastic. the room was very accommodating and the service was excellent. being our first time on a resort we couldn't believe we didn't have to pay for anything but tips. We would definitely go again and recommend it to friends

Wonderful Time!

The Serenade Adults only resort is beautiful. We found out it is only 5 months old, so they do have some kinks to work out, some of them being, running out of towels by the pool and the food at the buffet not being replenished fast enough. The resort did not feel crowded. With 3 pools, everyone was able to spread out. Although we had access to the family side, we were not allowed to go to their restaurants, which was a little disappointing. Every time we went to restaurants we were approached with people trying to sell us spa packages or excursions. All in all it was very relaxing. Just the trip we were looking for.

Brand new. Would go back.

I will start with the cons which are few and not serious but can be irritating 1. The pillows are awful. 2. Lack of small ice buckets in the brand new adult section. 3. Lack of instructions on use of TV remote and the sound is controled. We had to sit right in front of the TV to hear it. Had to call maintenance to come and increase the sound. Now that that is out of the way, this resort (adult section) is beautiful, modern, has 5 pools available and has Palapas around each pool instead of umbrel [... read more]las. Grounds are well kept, do not have to get up early to get loungers (and they are padded). Animation group is hard working and very friendly. Drinks are delicious and top shelf brands provided. I would suggest that since many Canadians vacation here that they provide Clamato juice for Ceasars. Staff at all levels are professional and hard working. Buffet is varied and very good. Specialty restaurants were good as well. The PALAPPA restaurant does not need reservations and it serves Italian food in the evening. During the day, they serve BBQ food. They serve the best burgers. They are so huge that my wife and I shared one. After your evening meal, you can enjoy a cocktail at the piano bar or a specialty coffee or various flavoured martinis outside the main reception area. The rooms are huge, clean and there is alot of storage space. Balconies are large compared to other resorts we were at. Beach is very nice and you can walk out in the ocean a good distance. No snorkeling as it is very shallow. The resort is 20 minutes from the airport. Please don't be shy to tip. Very enjoyable 8 days.

Nice vacation

The hotel is nice and the pools and beach amazing. When we first arrived to check in there was no welcome drink and Anna was not friendly at all. The spa people hound you 5 times a day to purchase services. The alcohol is not the greatest and the wine sucked. We purchased a bottle of wine that normally cost $20 ended up costing $100. The food was okay but don’t expect to have any vegetables. The staff here hardly speaks English so it was super hard to communicate. If you are going to this res [... read more]ort bring towels. They never had any and the ones they did have were stained and gross. You also have to make dinner reservations through the app and it was not user friend. You can only book 3 days of restaurants at a time.

Great resort!

Serenade is a great resort. We were on the adult only side and have no complaints. The food was amazing with plenty of options for everyone. The drinks were awesome and never ending. The beach was great. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Vacation

I spent a wonderful 5 days at the Serenade All-Suites Adults only resort with my husband. We both agreed this was a "must return" resort. The pools were perfect. You could find a quiet zone to read, or if you prefer to live it up, the pool with the swim up bar was the place to be. The beach was amazing - there is a large sandbar which allows you to walk out into the ocean about 200 yards! It was even warmer than the pool! The service was fantastic as well. The rooms were very spacious, and modern. The food was decent but would suggest you go to the family resort next door for the buffet. They had more variety. Also, would recommend you pack a towel in your suitcase. By noon, the pool towels were all gone and you had to wait hours for fresh towels. Overall it was a great vacation. Already thinking of taking my daughter here next year!

Great Recommendation!

We would definitely consider heading back to Serenade again - so new - only 6 months old, housekeeping is exceptional, food is a wonderful selection and the resort seemed to cater to a middle age group with quiet spots to relax at the pool or beach. Animation team was top-notch too! Hopefully the electrical failures were a fluke, our air conditioning quit three days during our stay there and front desk is unavailable to help. Their software holds the info for everything and you create your ow [... read more]n service tickets for maintainance, etc. But repair staff was there immediately to rectify so all was dealt with swiftly. Serenade Delivers

My wife recently returned from a fabulous week at the Serenade All Suites, Adults Only resort in Punta Cana. This is a new, modern, beautiful, and very well-maintained resort. Rooms are large and offer everything you need. The resort offers a large beach with great walking, and 3 large pools inn a beautiful setting. Ocean swimming is somewhat limited but not an issue. Palapas for shade are plentiful especially surrounding the pools. Service was fast at restaurants and the overall staff at the resort was top notch. Understand that many of the staff speak mostly Spanish so cut them some slack and all is good! This was one of the best vacation experiences we have enjoyed over the years. Also, a short trip from the airport, 15 minutes, which was nice. Overall, i would rate this resort as a B+ to an A.

Great trip

Just back from a 7 day stay and very satisfied with many aspects. The service was first class, the resort was on the smaller size which made it very easy to get to all areas. Restaurants were very good with good selections of entrees. The beverages were excellent and I have to send a special thank you to Roberto who took care of us at the pool bar. All and all I would recommend this hotel to everyone especially seniors because of the easy access to everything.

Awesome resort

The rooms are new and modern. Food is awesome ,even picky eaters should be able to find something along with any gluten or dairy allergies. Grounds are clean Most staff were friendly . Roof top bar and pool is a must , great scenery( on family side , but only adults only or preferred can use). Only one complaint was the Gourmet restaurant food took way too long to get . Wow wow wow..... amazing resort!

What a fabulous resort! Spectacular and decided to extend our vacation by 3 days! Food is amazing, especially the Al a cartes, drinks were great and the staff members are wonderful, warm welcoming and eager to assist with anything. Josefina and Luz at guest services (and Indira at Tui excursion company) were monumentally helpful to us with extending our vacation, we became fast friends with these 3 beautiful ladies who went above and beyond to help us with arrangements and other things. Great resort!

My partner and I returned from a 5 day stay at the Serenade All Suites Adults only. This resort is amazing. I have no idea where the bad reviews are coming from as service was good, food was good and staff were friendly. Our room was perfect with a king bed and soaker tub. AC very cold and no issue with hot water as I read in other reviews. Beach was very nice, very little seaweed which was cleaned up daily. Worth every penny!!

We had an excellent stay at Serenade all suites adults only resort .The resort is new and the services are top notch .The food options are plenty , service is very quick and excellent .The beach though small is great with white sand and turquoise blue water . Special thanks to Indira at the help desk who suggested us a mind blowing catamaran experience.! Overall great trip and would surely recommend this resort to friends and family .

Amazing Vacation!!!

We had an amazing trip at Serenade All Suites. Can't really complain about anything. The food was excellent, the staff were all nice and accomadating. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were very clean and the beach was absolutely beautiful, white sands and the ocean was very clear. We would definatley come back to this resort in the future.

Beautiful New Resort

Beautiful new hotel. Service was great, rooms were large, comfortable and well appointed, beach was large and beautiful though not great for swimming as there were no waves and water was quite shallow, bars and service there was excellent, 3 large clean pools with varied noise and activity levels. Buffet was very good, didn’t try the alacartes but heard Steakhouse was very good. Would go again in a heartbeat !

Nice resort

This was a nice resort. A few things need to be improved on. The pools need hand rails, lighting in stairwells. There are no signs to say what the entertainment or activities are. The lobby bar had the same music every night, in-between a singer performing. I found the water aerobics okay, until you have to massage the backs of eachother, then form a line outside of the pool for " dance". Zumba was short, maybe 4 songs and below average. There was a break in-between songs, not smooth. The food [... read more] was usually Luke warm in the buffets, but always could find something to eat. The main complaint would be the language barrier. If you are working in these resorts, basic knowledge of the English language should be required. I am not blaming the employees, I felt sorry for them. Examples would be a guest trying to get orange juice at breakfast and the poor server just didn't understand and gave water 2x. I ordered pork ribs and pointed on the menu and got a beef rib. Sometimes you wouldn't get appetizer, I think because they didn't understand. We also found the service very slow most times, especially in lobby bar. Maybe they need more employees. Pools were great, beach was lovely, although you had to be down by 7 to "save" a chair. Only got one 1x. There didn't seem to be an issue getting a lounger around pools. One pool quiet, closest to main lobby and less wind on the very windy days. Middle pool a little more active, then pool closest to the beach is where the music was louder and activities taking place. We had some nice servers, Alba, Norvell and Jon joa? ( sorry, trying to remember name)

Nice resort

We stayed from Feb 17th to the 24th. The hotel was very well kept, the housekeeping was very good. It was designed really nicely with a walkway through the grounds that led to the beach. There were 3 pools, two which were really active and one which was quiet. It was nice to be able to choose between them. The buffet was nice, the food was good. Nothing really gave us the WOW factor with this vacation. We went to a high pressure sales thing that was not a Time Share, but was a Time Share. We said no about 6 times before they were convinced that we were not interested. We wasted 2 hours of our vacation doing this. The only reason we went was because we thought it would help one of the people who worked there. As it turns out, that person was pretty standoffish to us after. I think that may have influenced our time spent at the Serenade. All in all, it was an ok vacation, not worth the amount of money we spent. We only choose Punta Cana because Cuba is having supply issues. I much prefer Cuba to Punta Cana. The people are far more friendly and I always got an "Island feel". I know that many people really enjoyed staying at the Serenade, it is a very nice resort. It just didn't hit the right notes for us.

Great resort!

We stayed at Serenade All Suites from Feb 15-22. Overall, a very nice resort. The grounds are beautiful and as it’s new some of the plants and greenery are not fully mature yet but will be beautiful once they are. Rooms were great and kept clean. Restaurants were great and had a variety of food to choose from. I could see some some little tweaks that could be made but as this resort just opened I’m sure this will come in time . Amazing Resort

Beautiful resort with amazing staff. Absolute perfection is ruined by the most disgusting food ever. Improve the food and it would be 7 out of 5 stars; but it's soooo bad we can't go higher than 3.

Check all the boxes

This place checked all the boxes for us. Perfect size, good food, great staff, clean facilities. The room has umbrella and toiletries. The wifi is very good on the entire resort and beach area. Despite it being a very quiet resort and that the beach had seaweed we would return
