Sandals Royal Curacao: Beautiful Resort

Really enjoyed this beautiful resort in Curaçao! The rooms were fantastic and the upgrade to the ocean view was worth the money. The food was equivalent to fine dining! We did not have a bad meal. The service was good and the Wednesday beach bbq was a lot of fun! Not a lot to do at night and the beach was just ok. They need to fix the billing issues with those on the all inclusive option. Still...a great time was had!

We were a little worried about going to the Sunscape from the reviews but we actually enjoyed our stay there beach and pool were good, food was ok some days better then others we did not starve!!!! Rooms are dated but we don't go for the room as we are on the beach all day and out and about at night. My grand daughter loved it we were so close to pool and ocean that she could go to either. My husband and I both had massages the were wonderful Nelly and Elisbeth we amazing would definitely would recommend getting a massage. We paid 1900.00 and would not pay anymore than that. Sandals Royal Curacao: Unbelivable resort

The amenities are just superb. From the walkways to the hallways everything is perfectly maintained. The restaurants are amazing. Food is always fresh. The staff always servers you with a smile. We loved it.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice Resort

Suncscape Curacao was a nice resort with pleasant staff who always responded with, 'it a pleasure'. Food was good and plentiful, not an extreme high end gourmet, so if you starve you deserve too! Property including beach was clean and well maintained. Entertainment staff were great, providing day time and evening activities for all. The buildings and rooms were dated, but very spacious. A good paint job inside the rooms and hallways as well as a shower/tub area upgrade would go a long way [... read more]...then I would definitely consider returning.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Ok resort.

So this resort is beautiful. Our room was not at all what we were expecting a little disappointing the garden view was terrible and the balcony you could not sit out on. This was a deal of the day room would not recommend. No coffee maker. And a couple days our room was not cleaned by 4:30. The service is slow 2 to 2 and a half hours for supper. Price was quite high for what we got.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Outstanding resort

This resort is marvelous. The food was great, especially in the specialty restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. For those who are snorkelers the break wall has an abundance of sea life and it is not very far off shore. The waters are calm and good for swimming. In some places it is hard to enter the water, but one needs to walk about 100 feet and enter in the sand. Great resort our 5th time here.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Fun for Everyone

Wayne and I were not sure about a resort that was not adult only but this resort is set up so well we really did not find it interfered with our activities at all. The food was well cooked and the choices though repetitious from day to day had enough variety to ensure we were satisfied. We ate in the main area which served breakfast, lunch and dinner for most meals. Wayne had lunch at the beach bar once and enjoyed his burger. The Italian restaurant was a nice change from the buffet and the portions were just right and hot as sometimes at the buffet your choices cool down before you return to your table. The only thing that may turn some people off in the main eating area would be the birds that fly in and out of the area and at times land on the food platters. Wayne and I especially enjoyed the snorkelling on the beach. Even though it is always very windy, the breakwall in the water stops the waves from reaching the swim area but still allows many varieties of fish to inhabit this section of sea. We were able to snorkel every day, not having to worry about rough water or jellyfish!

Divi Little Bay Beach Resort: Divi-ne!!!

Best beach in all of #sxm! Great food, and friendly staff. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat. 🍤🍤🍤. Would like to see a bit quicker service at times during busy times, but they are always willing to try harder next meal. If you go anywhere in st. maarten, you must consider this place first! 🥂

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great resort

Yes this resort is older, however the rooms are clean, there’s hot water for showers, options for meals, fantastic beach. The staff is super friendly. The resort is about a 10 minute cab ride to Will instead, where there’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars, and the floating market.

Eden Beach Resort: Great Place to stay

It is a perfect location, great for snorkeling! The room met my expectations, it was kept clean. The girls at the reception were helpful. Eden Beach Resort is a great value for the money. We enjoyed our stay here and will return someday.

Hilton Curacao: So So Resort

This hotel was built in the 60's … and it looks it … both from décor and upkeep perspectives (e.g. a lampshade in our room was rusting out). We were on a breakfast plan. Breakfasts were okay. Other meals were available, but prices were high (hot dogs about $15 and hamburgers about $20 … US$), food was lukewarm, and service was very slow. When we checked in, an error (on their side) resulted in a night in a regular room (we booked premium). We didn't get a replacement until 5PM on the [... read more] second day, so we couldn't settle right in.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Has everything you need & great staff!

Pools are ok. Beach is amazing. Great snorkeling right from the shore. Tons of fish as soon as you walk out. The food is ok. Very good in some instances but definitely not a 5 star resort. They could use some more variety. However, it has everything you need. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are big and very clean. Although it's an older hotel and on the small side we love it. We stayed in the new portion (Royal Tower) and our view was perfect. Hotel room was very good. A little TLC req'd. Grounds were excellent. Swimming & snorkeling in the protected beaches was the best! Loved the VIP service. All the restaurants were very good. Location was perfect for privacy yet close enough to attractions. And the people were super friendly. Loved the multilingual chatter with guests...

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Something For Everyone Resort!

This all inclusive resort was fabulous. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Staff were so helpful. Food was good with lots of options. Lots to explore in a tour or on your own. We walked halfway to town, so much to see. Mambo beach next door. Thought this offered everything a great family resort could and more! Would go back in a minute.

Renaissance Curacao: Amazing service !

Our stay at the Renaissance Curacao was one of the best experiences we have ever had on a vacation. The staff was exceptional ! The hotel itself is nice but not 5 star. The customer service makes up for that.

No complaints about the resort knowing that we booked a four star resort, beach was great for swimming, the resort itself is an older resort but well looked after and very clean. Big shout out and Thank You to Mark the Casino Manger who stepped up when hotel management couldn't be bothered, Mark went well above and beyond to help us out while we were in a bit of a predicament and also Ecko who made sure our stay was fun and enjoyable. The only complaint would be that booking with Trip Central,  [... read more]we up graded our flight to business class ( which was not cheap) with the guarantee from travel agent that we would have the Maple Leaf Lounges at both Toronto and Curacao airports, when we arrived for our departing flight, which was delayed at Curacao airport we were informed that there was no such lounge available for us.

The food was good. The a la carte restaurants didn't require a reservation, which was nice. Had to lone up about 10 mins before dinner service in order to get a seat at the first seating otherwise we would have to wait about an hour and 15 mins. Was pretty much the only negative. Staff was friendly, excellent snorkeling, and the whole island was really safe.

This resort was built in 1966, It was a Breezes before that. I really do read all the reports on Trip Advisor, Oyster, and Monarch. Most are complaining about everything , most are saying its the best. I usually discard 50%. Friends recommended the resort, saying it was a little tired but still ok, as it had a 4* rating. The ro [... read more]om we were given, as requested , was to be central but quiet not near the entertainment all night. When we entered the room, I didn't want to unpack. There were no doors on the closets, 1 small round table, with 1 outdoor chair. The bathroom was so outdated ,there was no place to put anything away,as there was no counter-space around the sink.The shower was 24x24 with a curtain round around it, and the curtain was so small in didn't close.The safe was broken, and when my husband sat on the corner of the bed it collapsed. We request another room in an upgraded block, which we refused to pay for, but it was granted, although we had to wait 2 days for. Because the safe was broken, I had to keep all of our money, passports with me, until that room was ready. The other room was a little better, with a balcony we could get another chair inside and the bathroom had a walk in shower and some counterspace. But in was still outdated but very clean.It was on the 3rd floor. Although I have somewhat of a disability it was manageable. We booked the resort for 2 wks at over $7,900.00 cdn. On the plus side, the beach is very nice with the break wall , amazing snorkelling , warm water, temperature was always 29 degrees, a very warm breeze, and no rain.The resort is extremely clean , the bathrooms spotless, and our room was very clean every day.The staff are fluent in at least 3-5 languages, English, Spanish, Dutch, Some German and some french. There was never a communication problem.Any problem we had with the new room was fixed within hours. The staff were very friendly. However the buffet was awful. The staff would take forever to bring coffee cups, and coffee, until people decided to get it themselves. The buffet consisted of 1 aisle. The food was most always cold, or warm at the most. Salad bar and deserts were non-existed. No pasta station, no carving station. No desert station, 2 soup containers with floating grease or oil. Thankfully there was 1 sole who could make an omelette and fry an egg. The food was constantly recycled into another leftover the next day.For the money we paid it was a 2+ at the best. Some Melias in Cuba had better food , and that's not saying much.The a la carte's were a little better, but while the main meat was warm and veggies or side was always cold. The capital is beautiful, clean, safe, and a major cruise port. Would I go back. No, Would I recommend it, No. If you want to spend $8,000.00 simply go elsewhere.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Wonderful Vacation

This is a beautiful resort, bearing in mind that all the beaches are 'man made'. Sunscape is kept very clean and we found the staff, for the most part, to be very friendly. Carolina (F&B) is absolutely the BEST! Very friendly and attentive; Cornella was our bartender in the 8000 units and she was amazing also. Resta [... read more]urants are first come, first serve, as opposed to having to make reservations. We didn't have any trouble getting into all of these; some more than once. Entertainment does leave something to be desired however, we don't go for the evening activities so much. The lobby cafe and bar is smaller than most we've been to and the "international" liquors didn't include what my husband preferred (Canadian Club, or Crown Royal, Rye??). Madelaine was instrumental in helping us find some, after a few days. Overall, we were there for 10 days and loved our time away from the winter!

Had a great trip. Carolina , a supervisor in thefood and beverage was awesome , so friendly , deserves to be a manager ! Would strongly recommend this resort !t. Everything you need is here . Good family resort !
