Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great resort

-the renovations were well done, though interesting to see the roof leaking -water on the floor in hallways and restaurants after the rain. -couldn't adjust the air conditioning in the room -was the blanket in the room washed? -the food was very good in the Atlantic and Steak restaurant -Krystal was also good, though disappointed when no coffee/cappuccino served -wondering why the switch to Adults only? -glad to see ramps in pool and to the beach

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Highly recommend

Beautiful motel style building, I prefer condo style. Food was amazing. 3 A la cartes which you have to wait in line as they don’t take reservations, but didn’t bother me, we would grab a drink at the bar and go socialize with people. The Atlantis next door is where we would go for entertainment at night as they have shopping, casino, huge fish aquarium and lots of other things to see. Staff were friendly. Pools were nice. Beautiful beach. I would recommend for sure. Rooms had a  [... read more]slight odor and I found a big bug in the bathroom ( we were on the ocean). One day our room did not get cleaned until 3PM. The king size bed is actually split down the middle which makes 2 beds put together which kinda puts a damper on snuggling.

The Royal at Atlantis: Great adventure but the hotel was not in good condition.

The resort was fantastic but I found the hotel (Royal) somewhat falling apart. We were forced to switch rooms 3 times due to water leaking in our bathroom. I notice signs of wear and tear everywhere. This hotel is not a 5 star in my opinion. I regret buying the dining package. I discovered that additional charges not authorized were put on my visa, on the minibar and I was charged for meals that were suppose to be covered under my plan. The hotel rooms are very nice. Service was always good. Hard to get into some restaurants but the food was good. Close to everything. Golfing very expensive but reef fishing was fun! Overall 4.8 stars holiday

Did a 4 day 3 night weekend. It was perfect. Quick flight from Toronto, and we were at resort before lunch. Food was amazing and bar service was great. Make sure you have the jerk Chicken. Visit Atlantis after 6 and see the aquarium and stop by to see the yaughts a girl can dream right. Room was lovely, but bring your own shampoo

Very clean, friendly and welcoming staff, amazing food. Great amenities and customer service. I enjoyed the excursions available and the overall accommodations provided. I highly recommend staying here!

Warwick Paradise Island: Awesome resort

We had a wonderful 7 days at the Warwick resort. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The rooms comfortable and well stocked with water and coffee. Having 5 different restaurants was great. There was lots of food and choices. It would have been better to have had a beach closer to the hotel. We felt very safe walking to the casino at night.

Warwick Paradise Island: The Little Resort that Could!!

For a couple that usually goes to the large "name brand" resorts we were a little nervous about going to the Warwick (even when we arrived at first glance)....despite it's small "footprint and simplicity" we were nicely surprised...the small footprint actually became my favorite feature... Service - as good as it gets in all areas...staff are not only nice but most have a great sense of humour and want to have fun too Location - good...6 minute walk to bridge/ferry's to mainland...Paradise [... read more] Island itself doesn't have much (except maybe Atlantis and Cabbage Beach) to see Food - compared to other Caribbean resorts it was very good (they even had real cream for coffee!!)...issues as you will see in other reviews about booking the specialty restaurants is true but thankfully the buffet was good for the "off nights"...we did have a horrendous experience at the Italian restaurant but I'm going to assume that it was just a bad night... Rooms - large, simple and very clean....great shower water pressure and great pillows...best TV selection I have ever seen for those of us who like a quick morning and bedtime viewing Beach/pool - as advertised beach is manmade and small but quaint...cabbage beach is great for those who love that thing...they also look after you very well there (transport, booze, snacks and even security) Entertainment - we like "big shows' (cruise a lot) and you will not find that here...but...they try hard and have simple party type venues (e.g. karaoke, casino night, etc) and individual entertainers....guided bike tour is also nice...they did an amazing job for Super Bowl!! (I was planning to go off the resort to a local bar but glad I didn't) Booze - good brands, decent pours...good attitude towards tips (they are appreciated but not made to feel mandatory)….Hog Bar (pool) is the best and contrary to some reviews stays open later than stated (usually 8pm and sometimes later)...wine was actually okay which I don't find everywhere... Overall we found the Warwick a fun place....Definitely would go back!!

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Good

Beautiful beach. Beautiful resort. Ocean view = 5th floor to 9th floor room, we got the 5th floor. :/ Food in general is good, something for everyone. Starbucks on site, reasonable resort level prices for Starbucks. (There is free coffee at the main dining restaurant) Good children's pool with beach entry. Beach is nice, slightly above average for Caribbean islands. Free travel to nearby luxury island - don't fall for people trying to sell you a boat trip. Room had wet carpet when we ar [... read more]rived, not sure what that was about. We let it dry and didn't complain. Bring cash to tip, while not necessary, tipping will get you a smile with service. Travel to airport included. Can walk along beach to Baha Mar if casinos are your thing or want to try different restaurants.

We have been twice now and love it more every time we go. Friendly staff, amazing food, clean rooms, never a complaint. We will definitely visit again sometime. So much fun !!!! Highly recommended

First time coming since the renovation and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back. Food is high quality and all staff members exceeded my expectations. This hotel meets the needs of all guest types.

Breezes Bahamas: Wonderful and personable resort

The best part of the hotel was the entertainment committee, they made the hotel. They kept people active during the day with activities and into the night with entertainment on the stage. The hotel should be proud to have this wonderful group of young adults.

Love this resort. Have been 7 times. Never disappoints. You get the same great amenities every time. Everything is so close. You're in very short walking distance to the pool the beach the buffet the coffee shop and the Atlantis Hotel is 60 feet away. There are so many staff that are available to make sure you always have a drink in your hand a towel or anything that you need. I also like the fact that it's not a very far car drive from the airport.

The hotel is elegant and has all the amenities one would expect at a world class four star property. I he rooms are well appointed and th ocean views are spectacular. All rooms have balconies. The adult swim up bar pool is a happy place with a DJ that keeps everything moving to great beats. For the kids there is a kids club and a pool for families. The night shows are well done and appeal to everyone. The water sport are amazing. Canoes, kayaks are complimentary and wave runners are available 1 [... read more]00 feet along the beach. My daughter and I loved the SeaDoos and raced over surf and visited two other islands. Onsite Majestic tours has an array of trips off site and the biggest hit is swimming with the pigs and sharks in Exuma. This is a vacation for all when her your single, a couple or a family. Whether you're 8 or 80. It's better in the Bahamas!

The Royal at Atlantis: Disappointed

Horrible Service, Horrible Rooms We had to upgrade to the Cove as the room that we were placed in smelled like smoke. My kids ended getting sick. This hotel doesnt meet my standards nor should it meet Tripcentrals.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Family Vacation to remember

Was at this resort mid January with spouse and our 2 teenage daughters. Check in was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. We waited in line for an hour to check in; then waited in a bathroom line up to change into our bathing suits. Then went back after 3 to get our room keys. We had an ocean view room - the view was fantastic. Bed was very uncomfortable and room can still use some improvements. My daughters had a garden view room that was very outdated, bed uncomfortable and could hear everyt [... read more]hing in the next room to them. The would not accommodate us to have them in the same building we we’re in. There is no servers for alcohol around pool, beach or restaurants. Drinks and food we’re fantastic! Animation team and games we’re fun! Do join in the games, aqua fit, archery etc - we had so much fun and met a lot of great people. If you like to walk the beach it’s fantastic to walk; there’s even a place called Cleveland’s along the way to stop and have a drink in the afternoon.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Good for R&R

I went to this resort as it's one of the few all inclusives in the Bahamas. There was a good variety of restaurants, with decent food, and the beach was GORGEOUS. My 2yr old loved the kiddie pool. It's a solid 4-star!

Warwick Paradise Island: Wonderful vacation on Paradise Island

We had a king room with water view facing the harbour with many boats constantly traversing and a view of the docked cruise ships. The hotel was as advertised and we were very pleased with our room. The pool and chaise lounges were always available so no complaints. The food and service was excellent especially in the Verandah buffet restaurant. In fact it rivalled the a la carte restaurants which were sometimes lacking.....salads, desserts were very good but the main entrees in both the Abecco  [... read more]and Edgewater were often over-cooked or bland. Loved the nightly entertainment and because this resort is smaller, we were able to meet and mingle with guests from England, Canada and the U.S. Really liked staying on Paradise Island which is very clean, and felt safe. We explored the island and took both a taxi and a ferry to the main island of New Providence. Lots of shops for souvenirs and highly recommend the Pompay Museum (history of the Bahamas and slavery) and the National Art Gallery.

My husband and I travelled with our 5 year old son along with another family consisting of husband, wife, 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son We stayed at the resort Jan 19 - 26 2019 Overall the resort was okay.. you get what you pay for.. total cost for my husband, son and I was just under 3000$ from Toronto Beach: Beautiful beach! when the tide is low; the coral reef is on the beach and easy to see when walking! when the tide is high; the reef is in the water and presents problems  [... read more]when trying to enter the ocean it was extremely windy during our stay so we didn't swim in the ocean much never short on beach chairs! Rooms: We stayed in the older section (3000 block) small bathroom! large crack under the door to outside! adjoining room walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours loud and clear! rooms are outdated which is fine (everything was fully functioning in our room) and it was kept clean! Service: It was average! some workers enjoyed their job while others didn't It was a very "get it yourself" type resort which was fine with us Pool: The main pool was kept clean.. We would periodically see a worker cleaning the pool with the net The water was cold so we didn't swim in the pool at all Hot tub: We spent most of our time in there.. it was nothing fancy but they kept the temperature warm enough to stay in but not too hot to want to step out. the kids loved it! Food: We didn't go hungry but it wasn't a huge buffet The food at the beach was a cute set up and perfect for lunch or a snack! (we did not do any of the a la carte restaurants) Bars: only a beach bar and a main bar ... the resort could really use another bar somewhere the line ups where never overly long but another bar on the resort would go a long way the "get it yourself" water station at each bar is great!! Shows: they start at 930 pm with an awards presentation from the days activities.. it was too late for us and our 5 year old so we didn't catch any

Breezes Bahamas: Second Time's a charm!

We first went to Breezes in 2012 and loved it! We decided to go back Jan 19-26 and it was even better than the first time! The people are still amazing and the location couldn't be better. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurants. We tried all 3 and were very impressed, especially with the steak! If you go to Garden of Eden, make sure you get Adam's Loin for an appetizer, so good! Amazing staff at all of them but would like to mention great service received from Alvano, Mark and She [... read more]lly! New to us this trip was the beach cabanas. They are an additional charge of $50/day but come with a beach butler who will bring you drinks and food all day long. G was amazing and made sure we never were without a drink, even bringing them before we asked. Brittney was also very good and attentive. The weather was a little cooler a couple of days so we brought our party to the hot tub and had a blast! Met so many great people from all over!! We went to the casino at the Baha Mar next store and it was amazing! Free drinks while gambling and they are very strong with high end liquor (the only downside of Breezes from the last time we went is the quality of the liquor). Even if you don't gamble, you should still go check out this hotel. It is beautiful, but very pricey :) The shuttles go back and forth from Breezes every 15 minutes. Would definitely go back to Breezes!
