Barcelo Aruba: ok resort

Beaches beautiful, food so so.. check in very slow, had to wait for the room for few hours and nobody really could do anything to speed up the process because it was.. Saturday! Who knew, Saturday is not their best day to do the business. Ocean view room that we paid extra for was not that much of the ocean view unless we looked on the side.. rather the pool view. Would I go back there? Yes, only because I love Aruba and their beaches, restaurant and shopping..

Occidental Punta Cana: Very disappointed with this resort.

The rooms were very dated and in desperate need of repairs. Items such as dysfunctional air conditioning and unsafe bathrooms (water from the room above leaking down through the light fixtures in the ceiling) were examples of items that needed immediate attention.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Loved it here

Loved this hotel, especially watching the sailboarders. Younger crowd at the beach, families gathered by pool . Long beach to walk on with cool breezes. Drinks and snack offered near the beach and pool.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Trip Of A Lifetime

This is one of the niceset resorts we have stayed at. If you want to relax in an adults only enviroment with very little stress and parting then this is the resort for you. Great Staff, Great Serivce and some of the best food anywhere. We have already book to return at XMAS.

Allegro Cozumel: Wow beautiful resort!

The grounds were very well kept and clean! The pools were inviitng and very clean. Personel polite and ready to please. We were four couples traveling together and we had such a great time, games, fun and laughter!

Occidental Papagayo: Great spot!

Lots of restaurant choices and plenty of things to do. Although hilly, the cart was always available to pick up and drop off at the beach or where you needed to go. Only issue was that more bottled water would have been nice.

Occidental Punta Cana: excellent resort for the price

the resort is paradise great layout and very easy to find your way around the people that work there are really great we were there for one week and hated to leave for the money you can't go wrong I will return to this resort.

Occidental Punta Cana: Well laid out

Picturesque, but the steakhouse was under renos (not indicated on the web.) Need some park benches. Sensor operated air conditioner system not well thought out: my girlfriend has medical issues which require constant cool temps while indoors. Shutting on or off when you enter or leave the unit means wasted time cooling down. Very friendly staff & top notch food & entertainment. Sax player Mozart was unbelievable - should be signed to a label. No non-smoking area sucks.

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: not great

run down, food not good, very dirty, It says all inclusive ...but you can't get a drink within 10mins + if you don't tip t least $1 or 2 per drink. The bank at resort wont give change $5 bills is the smallest amount of change they will provide. crazy!!

Starfish Montehabana: Decent accommodations

Overall my experience was positive. I found the staff in the lunch bar in particular to be quite good to me and my family. They certainly stood out as the best part of the overall service. The food there was reasonably priced and tasty. I was less satisfied with other aspects of the whole experience. The housekeeping staff seemed to not come by for days. Not a huge deal but a bit surprising. We had an extra bed put in our room which was not really satisfactory. English language was a difficulty  [... read more]for some and we received wrong answers due to this. Again, not a huge deal. I would likely go somewhere else next time but did enjoy the stay overall.

Occidental Punta Cana: great resort

The grounds were well kept, and the pool very clean. The rooms were adequate. Our building was right next to the beach, so it was perfect! When we arrived S-Trip (I think this is what the group was called) was on site and in full swing. There was a group of hundreds of teens Celebrating their spring break. We too were a group of 16 moms and teens...and let's just say I'm glad we Moms were on deck. Food was great, and the a La carte choices were all fantastic! The beach, well the reason why we Canadians go!! And it did not disappoint. It was beautiful and very well kept, lots of fun activities for the teens on the beach and poolside. I recommend a Franklin Special and look up Lewis on the beach, he will make sure you take part in some fun water activities!!! I would certainly go again....a week S-trip was not!!

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Allegro is filled with somthing for everyone

A smile from the ground staff, great help from the service desk, in the dining room you are always welcome, rooms are cleaned daily, even if you came alone, you are not lonely, because there is a game for everyone, even at night, there are entertainment for the kids and adults. The new Manager sings for us at the Welcome Table. The staff knows you and calls you by name, that really makes you feel welcome. Don't forget Cubana Airlines, great flight. Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Amazing time

We had a great time. The people were amazing and it was a beautiful resort. Can't wait to go back. The snack bar was great and the beach was absolutely fabulous. It was never too loud and the rooms were very clean

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Beautiful but not worth it

I have to say the resort was beautiful but I had MAJOR issues with the toilet, a few times having NO toilet at all for the day in our room.. and had to have the toilet fixed daily, even urine would clog toilet lol. Other then that not too bad..

Allegro Papagayo by Occidental: Loved it, would go back again

Happy staff made for happy guest. Christian, Marilyn, Christopher all made for great entertainment.the dancers etc took other jobs at the resort amazingly.Good food, drinks and service I would return there. The servers were attentive, friendly understood basic English that really helped.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: fun filled resort

the room at the resort was very clean with fresh linens everyday , the dining staff were amazing and the grounds crew were always busy the walkways and gardens looking nice.Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.)

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing Resort

The whole resort was a wonderful experience, grounds were immaculate, food was amazing, we have been there twice and look forward to going again! Pools were clean, and never over crowded. Main lobby bar was great, loved the river, and the Indians great show!

Occidental Punta Cana: We have a wonderful time.

It was Old building but not to bad. room was clean everyday, new Towel, Only There was no Smoothee In the Morning for Breakfast.The staffs was great, Only the Wi Fi was no good. Need more entertainment though.

Allegro Papagayo by Occidental: Great vacation with my daughters

Apart from the beach, everything else was excellent. The food was good, the rooms were clean, the pool was great and the weather was perfect. Thanks to every employees for making it a great vacation, especially to Marilyne & Christian for their entertainment and Jimmy & Johnny for their excellent service.

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Allegro Varadero

nice hotel, appeal looks like 3 stars. but the beach is awesome! better than the one in Mexico that i have been. drinks are awesome as well, and i enjoyed the night show. food is good, every day is kinda different. good place to skip from the winter. and the first day i was there, a lady from NS said " i have been Cuba for 7 times and this is my fourth time to stay in this resort." sounds not bad right?
