Brisas Guardalavaca: Amazing Resort! Wonderful vacation.
The beaches are beautiful and well looked after. The service is exceptional. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Villas are clean and comfortable. Our fifth time visiting Brisas and we are already planning our next trip.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Overall a Good Resort
Went with a group of 16. Check in was quick, but we were given a ground floor room in the bungalows and since we had booked back in August of last year and our only request was any floor BUT the ground ( I have a REAL phobia about bugs)and we are repeat guests,( 6-7 times) we were quite surprised and a little disappointed that desk staff didn't even try to accommodate us. We had to go to the other side of the resort to the hotel and speak to customer relations who immediately got us another room [... read more]
Brisas Guardalavaca: Fantastic Resort
I love this place. I was at the same resort last year and had such a good time, that my husband and I decided to go back again this year and take the whole family. It is child-friendly, so my grand daughters had a blast. Everyone was really pleased with their rooms (very clean and the maid service daily). We don't want to spend time in our rooms so, we were quite content spending the whole day outside enjoying entertainment, pool use, beach at your doorstep, and meeting very friendly peo [... read more]
Brisas Guardalavaca: fantastic holiday
Brisas was great as usual happy to see much upgrading being completed. many staff are gone and lots of new faces Villas need some sprucing up painting and work needs to be completed. Staff were fairly quick at rectifying any issues. Buffet was good always something to eat NO mashed potatoes though many times we had baked that was unusual. The Cubans still have terrible beef but lots of choices of fish, pork and chicken Our 14th time here and was very good as usual
Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Fantastic time at Brisas
The Brisas Trinidad del Mar was a beautiful resort with everything we needed! Clean with very friendly and helpful staff and the hotel grounds were so well kept! We took a few excursions to nearby historic Trinidad and snorkelling on the amazing nearby reef! The only small drawback was the lack of live music to dance to during the daytime...we love that about Cuba. Nevertheless, the band that did play was very good! Had great fun and would think about a repeat visit, for certain!
Brisas Guardalavaca: Beautiful resort
All the staff are very nice and helpful. Food is pretty basic things it just tasted a little different but still was good! When we arrived, our room was not correct. It was too late at night for anyone to help us switch rooms so we slept there for the night but in the morning we got it all figured out and the new room was beautiful and quite spacious! Entertainment at this resort is always good to watch and there's always something going on activity wise so it's never a dull moment
Brisas Guardalavaca: Really good resort
I really liked how clean it was, I felt safe and everyone was very friendly. One of the grounds keepers saw me struggling with my luggage and helped me with it without me asking or anything. It was very much appreciated. The lifeguard at the pool educated me on sea urchins and I saw him making little hummingbirds for the young children which I though was just great. I loved listing to the guys singing is the seafood restaurant. Beaches were great. The Cuban airport needs to fix their washr [... read more]
Memories Trinidad Del Mar: It's all good!
Hi all, this is my second time staying at the Brisas del mar on the ancon peninsula. Great location with a short ride to Trinidad, nice resort and friendly helpful staff! The resort is comfortable, clean and they will always keep you fed and with a cold drink. The beach is sandy with lots of palms and palapa to sit under and the water is Caribbean warm and inviting. Special shout out and kudos for Sander the entertainer, Tomas in security and all the Los Cabo's staff who always took good care of [... read more]
Memories Trinidad Del Mar: BIC - Because It's Cuba
The grounds and public areas appeared to be well maintained and clean. There seemed to have been a lot of thought into the planning and layout of the resort to replicate the old section of colonial Trinidad. The beach was excellent with lots of chairs, palapas or trees. Some vendors on the public beach but they were not aggressive or intrusive, they simply announced what they had as they walked down the beach and if you were interested you had to indicate it to them. Did not use the pool, not a [... read more]
Brisas Santa Lucia: Great Value and very Comfortable Resort
We found Brisas Santa Lucia to be the perfect sized resort. Our mother travels with us and she isn't able to walk great distances but everything was convenient and easy for her to get around. All areas were well maintained and clean! Most of the staff were friendly. The entertainers were exceptional! They provided different activities throughout the day at different areas of the resort and were incredibly entertaining and hilarious (Carlito specifically). The housekeepers were very friendly and [... read more]
Brisas Guardalavaca: Lovely Resort
We went end of March, no student spring breaks. We stayed in the Villa part of this resort. It was fairly quiet, very clean, very friendly staff, good food. The beach was not crowded, and clean. We could not get over the number of people who are repeat customers to this resort. Many visitors had a good rapport with the staff. We had an excellent holiday and happy to say no complaints!
Brisas Santa Lucia: Amazing and friendly resort
The resort had the friendliest staff, good food and a beautiful beach. The pool activities were fun and the nightly entertainment was such a good time. Would go back just to see all the employees that work around the resort.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Comfortable setting feels like a home away from home
The grounds are beautifully kept, they were repainting the exterior of the building while we were there. There are several things that need updating ie: new mattresses, mine was very uncomfortable and the plumbing in the bathrooms need to be updated. The food in the large dining room was upgraded from last year and I enjoyed everything I chose to eat. Plenty of choice and the last couple of days they presentation of the food was awesome. You can choose a la carte dinner at specialities whic [... read more]
Brisas Sierra Mar: Pleasant Resort
The resort at Brisas Sierra Mar is very pleasant to visit. The grounds are lovely, public areas including the washrooms are nicely kept, the beach area is nice and has some good shaded areas, the pool area needs some updating, the rooms are dated but very pleasant and the staff are very congenial and helpful. The snorkelling was really enjoyable.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Hotel Review
The hotel was nice, the rooms could use some upgrades especially the washrooms. It looked like there was either black mold or dirt on the ceiling in the bathroom in our room. You can't drink their tap water, so you need bottled water. Only one is provided upon arrival in your room, after that you must either go to the bar to get it filled or pay for more bottles. The water in the Dominican last year was provided for free. Also there is no stocked fridge in your room.
Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Great breach however the rooms need work & water problems.
No running hot water most of the time. The location is beautiful with a long beach for swimming and walking. House keeping was excellent and the rooms where clean. However there hotel staff were cold at best.
Brisas Santa Lucia: 4 th time on this Resort
The main reason we go back to this beautiful place is the beach and water. Walking on the beach is my favorite thing to do in a vacation and on this place you can walk for 1hr each way. The water is amazing for children . For 30 ft in the water is about 2 ft. The kids swim with the fish. Safety, No pollution. Is like a different world. .Leave the worries at home and you will have a great vacation. If you like fancy rooms and fancy foods, this is no the place for you. If you like Beauty, peace, [... read more]
Brisas Santa Lucia: Amazing service
This is a solid 3.5 star hotel - if you go with this is mind, you won't be too disappointed. The staff here is what makes it great - and tipping one peso here and there will get you far! One doesn't go to Cuba for the food, but mostly for the beaches. Although there was a lot of kelp , it didn't hinder us from enjoying ourselves. The a la cartes were ok although we were expecting a bit more of the Cuban one. This place is secluded (along with the other three hotels nearby) but we felt very saf [... read more]
Brisas Guardalavaca: Well maintained resort.
This was our second time to Brisas Guardalavaca and is very good for the money. The room was a good size with a king sized bed, small bar fridge, 1.5L bottle of water which could be refilled at any bar, two lawn chairs on the balcony to enjoy the ocean view and the nightly entertainment. Furniture was in good shape. The bottom floor rooms have been renovated with a walk-in shower, chesterfield and upgraded furniture. I expect the rest of the rooms will be up-graded too. The food was good i [... read more]
Brisas Santa Lucia: Nice Resort
The Resort was nice had a great time Although the Brisas is old and needs updating the Grounds are Mature and maintained the Pool is Great and the Beach is Awesome. The Buffet is Limited and Service needs improvement but all in all it is a good Value for the Money other than going at March Break . I would go back again . I hope this helps Regards Sandra Beson
