Haven Riviera Cancun: Pleasant Stay

The food and drinks were very generous portions, great selection. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The pools are very large and beautiful. The beach is beautiful but it has a lot of sea weed.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Fantastic Resort

Food was great people even better entertainment team awesome would definitely go back again The weather was great beach water not very clear The swim up was very nice fed the iguana's there and would do it again

Breathless Cancun Soul: Paradise!

This resort was beautiful, very clean, friendly staff, the pool area was very clean and beautiful lots of games going on and very fun … the Italian restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious! We enjoyed the outdoor BBQ, lots of selection … There was lots of variety at the buffets to choose from . Grand Oasis Palm: It was OK

The hotel is dated, but kept clean. The Sens side was nicer and newer. We ate at the buffet on that side almost every meal. Look up where it is on the map. It’s next to a harbor and you have large ships going in and out multiple times a day. It’s definitely not a quiet, tranquil location. But the kids loved it. The “Le Petite Chef” restaurant was a hit with everyone in our group.

TRS Coral: 2nd time a charm!

First time we return to a hotel- the TRS is a beautiful hotel, architecturally, with great design elements, fantastic food and attentive staff. The spa and gym were also fantastic. Loved our experience and would be pleased to return.

Occidental Tucancun: Beautiful Resort

The resort was clean, the staff were amazing. Beach was cleaned of seaweed everyday, lots of chairs on the beach but no shade. The pools were clean and the water temperature was perfect. Lots of chairs and shade. The best part of the resort was the staff! 10/10 My only complaint was the food, I am not a fussy eater and was able to find something to eat every day but soon got tired of the same thing. City life is just a 10 minute walk, lots of restaurants and things to do off the resort as well.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Great resort except for the spring break groups and additional cost for lounge chairs/cabanas

Food was excellent/top notch! Lot's of restaurants and easy to book thru the app. The service in the a la carte was great but very slow in the buffet> Drinks - house wine was great. Other options were good but not a lot of premium alcohol options unless you paid extra to be in the "Star" class room. Room - pretty spacious but nothing special considering this is 5 star and we were in the Adult Scene area. Pillows could have been better and a bath tub in the bathroom. The resort looks a bit  [... read more]worn out considering its fairly new. Grounds - clean and well laid out but not a lot of security patrolling especially at night. Adult Scene - the minimum age should be 25. There were so many 18-20 yrs old on spring break partying until 3 am, being loud and obnoxious at the pool. It seem the hotel really advertised the resort to this crowd which I was not aware at time of booking. Beach - very nice, but it needs to be cleaned up and raked more. Additional chairs and umbrellas are also needed. There should also be a food option right on the beach and more waiters. Pools - all pools on both family and adult side were packed! It was impossible to find a chair or shade even though there is plenty of space for more. It seems the resort wanted people to rent the cabanas or bali beds at 300 and 150 US respectively. That is way to much when we already paid 5,000 for two people. The bali beds at least should be free and some patrolling by hotel staff to ensure people aren't leaving their towels for the entire day and not using the beds/chairs. Entertainment - hit and miss but we don't care too much about it. Resort credits - these were really coupons to get you to spend more money. False advertisement in my opinion. Overall the resort was nice but not staffed for spring break. Also the resort should disclose on their website that they accept spring break groups as this is determining factors for some, like us. We are in our 40s and there many that age or older who did not enjoy their stay as much or could not sleep.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Family resort

Big hotel. Lots for families to do. Great food, clean resort. Beach was good however no shade and very limited chairs and shade areas. Beach was quite steep to walk on. Pool areas also was difficult to get chairs. Reservations for supper was hard to get. Overall a good resort. Next to no partiers or roudy people which we liked. Vendors came regularly to resort. Watch the waves…lost two pairs of glasses. Had a beautiful view from our patio…enjoyed relaxing there.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: AVOID - Adult side

If you're looking for an adults only 5 star and have been to other adults only resort, this place ISN'T for you!!! Upon our early 5am arrival (late departure), we were checked in and left there to figure out where to go. We were told it's over there on the left, I cannot help you. No one was available and we had to walk around in the dark trying to find our building with our luggage. Beach and the pool are beautiful. However you'll need to get up at 6am each day to reserve a lounger c [... read more]hair, both at the pool and at the beach. There are simply not enough chairs for everyone or umbrella's should you require shade. Good luck finding a spot. Although we paid to stay on the adult side, the beach is a free for all. So if you are looking to relax and enjoy listening to the sound of the ocean, reading a book or taking a snooze, there are children everywhere. This is not controlled so expect it to be loud and maybe be hit by a ball while you're sleeping. In terms of service / concierge / help desk... I don't know how many times we were told "I cannot help you". For example, when the hotel app wasn't working and we were trying to book the a la carte restaurant. Seeking assistance from the concierge was pointless. Their job is to tell you how to do it yourself on the app... well when the app isn't working who can help? What if you don't have the space on your phone to download the app? Whatever the scenario, there was zero customer service. The food buffet was expansive, but beware of the meat sitting there for hours and hours, seafood not on ice beds, depleted salad bar... not to worry there's at least 4-6 different types of french fries, pizzas and all kinds of junk food. The a la carte restaurants are cafeteria style. Very loud, no table cloths and the food is not at the level of the adults only price we paid to stay here. Fill up on a big breakfast because you don't know what the rest of the day will look like in terms of your next meal. You will be refused premium liquor/spirits if you have not paid for the star category. The majority of the drinks barely have any booze. You can get house wine for free but must pay a hefty American price for a good quality wine, so the conversion in CAD was not worth the food accompaniment. Our Directors room was beautiful, just like the photos. However, we had brown water all week coming out of the faucets, tub, leaking toilet and shower. Def. not a 5 star experience. We were told this is normal upon reporting this. This absolutely does not cut it as a 5 star. Had this been a deal of a trip, perhaps some of these things could have been overlooked. This resort might impress the novice travellers, but this was not at the expected level or the price we paid. Sadly it's a BIG no for the Adult Scene, pass and select another.

Smart Cancun By Oasis: Smart Cancun by Oasis

The check in was friendly and quick. We were not all inclusive, but breakfast was included. They have 4 or 5 pools, maintenance was excellent. The hotel was clean and room were updated and clean. Maid service was efficient and friendly. We would stay at the Cancun Oasis again. A very enjoyable week.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Resort is ok but would not return

This resort is ok for families on a budget but nothing is great about it . Front desk staff could care less about you. People on the grounds are helpful and give good service. Rooms are ok but overall resort is old and needs a facelift. Gym equipment is very old and border’s unsafe.food in restaurants and main hall is just ok.

Live Aqua Cancun: Amazing

Everything is first-class from building, lobby, rooms, views, staff, food, pools, beach. Only critiques are pools too cold, needs a dinner buffet, expanded selections in main restaurants. The staff were all really nice and very welcoming.

Grand Oasis Palm: The most discusting hotel worst of the worst

We arrived there and the room we got had no fridge. No microwave.. no balcony.. we had to pay extra 450$ U.S for upgrade to have a so called better room with what they called a bar service… we never recieved any bar service at all the whole 7 days we were there and they only came to bring water and drinks on our last day when we were checking out!!! Every day I was in the lobby front seat asking for water !!! Our room was never getting cleaned!!!our toilet was always clogging and takes them hour [... read more]s to come fix it and it was always clogging!! The rooms are so ridiculous and dirty and smelly!!! The hotel was full of only locals and barely any visitors from other countries! Some of the security guards were so rude !!! The food is so discusting and I I found some pizza that was cooked with rotten and green fungus molded bread and some fruits that was very rotten and moldy and I bring it to the server’s attention showed it to them and told them to remove it as people can get very sick and possibly die and they just agreed with me to my face and apologize and then they never did anything about it and I watched the cook add more in the buffet after they ran out as I watched so many kids and older people eating it and I took pictures and showed it to client services and again nothing was done about it!!! All the food was sooo bad and discusting and rotten and it was the same food very single day!!! I even et to leave but was stuck as they wouldn’t refund me for any of the days and there was no availability any other hotels as it was spring break!!!! I had to take my kids and go out to eat in other restaurants downtown as I couldn’t take any risk in that hotel!!! I wish I could download pictures of the food u would throw up just looking at it!!! It was vacation from hell!!! The beach was light blue water at 6/7 am but by 10 am it would be brown and yellow and soooo dirty because of all the boats literally beside the hotel and water was full of engine oil and motor fumes and gas leaks and would turn the water brown it was so dirty and u would find broken glass bottles and cigarettes butts all over the sand ! It’s definitely not a place for kids or a place to enjoy!!! I been to Mexico 4 times now and now I will never ever go back !!! Worst stay of my life!!! If there was a no star on this rating I would’ve been selecting it because this hotel doesn’t even deserve the one star!!! Don’t understand how this place still open!!! I guess that’s why it’s all locals there!!!

Riu Palace Peninsula: Wonderful resort!

We absolutely loved this resort! The staff are very friendly, rooms were always clean, beautiful beach! The only recommendation I would have is for the check in staff to provide a bit more information. Ie we were allowed to use steam room and hot tub daily and didn’t even know until the spa service staff told us. Otherwise had a great stay!

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Nice Resort!

Rooms are clean, easy access to restaurants, pools and beach. The water is calm for Cancun even when it’s wavy, it doesn’t knock you over. Food was good. Hibachi was excellent. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Spacious resort with all room having an oceanview!

My family and I stayed at the Crown Paradise Club Cancun from Feb 12th to Feb 23rd, 2025. The resort was quite large and noisy; however, was impeccably clean and the room were nice. While the beach was sandy, it was course sand and hard to walk on as you sink into it every step you make, making it difficult to enjoy. The overall service was excellent and the main buffet was very good for lunch; however, they seem to serve the same things in the evening, which is not what you expect for sure.  [... read more]In the evenings we rotated to 3 of the 4 a la carte restaurants, the Italian, The French and the Steak House, all were quite good. They told us upon check in that we needed reservations for the French restaurant, which was not the case. I'd like to give a shout to out some particular staff members who exceeded our expectations. Alexis at the Italian Restaurant, Jose at the French Cuisine. Mary, the hostess at the Steak House, Jesus who was a superb Bellboy and last, but certainly not least, Joel, my beach server who kept my cold drinks coming all day long. You are all a credit to the hospitality industry.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Good times, terrible food

The hotel itself is good and the rooms are really nice. We had a great time in the plunge pool when we needed some quiet time. But the food in the resort was so bad. Even if they tried a little, it would be decent. It's like they just don't care at all. They know we have no other choice. The quality anf the taste is so bad. Each restaurant is worse than the other. We even picked this one coz it's supposed to be decent with the food. But no, it was terrible.

Everything was exelent staff is amazing polite always asking if everything is ok. The food is very good, The gym is well equiped when there evryday. The only thing they try to sell you upgrade when you arrived. bed at the beach at 200$ US per day is a non sense at the price you pay.to go at this resort.

The resort grounds, and restaurants are well maintained. They're renovating rooms starting next month so I'm sure they'll be nice. Food was great. It's a personal choice but we could always find something good. Service and staff was excellent- always pleasant and helpful. The beach was gorgeous.

Riu Palace Kukulkan: Dream Vacation

Hotel was amazing, so clean and fresh, there was a lot food to choose from and plenty, the pool was great always some kind of game or party going on and lots to drink. Everybody was just so happy to see you, there were night shows from mariachi to pop music or games. They really took care of you. We'll definitely coming back!
